Dianna's diary November 1st through December 31st

November 1st dear diary mom took the little girls and I on an adventure, we went to a farm way out in the country for a day of apple picking and to get farm fresh eggs and raw milk. We drink raw milk as we aren't as sensitive to it as we are regular milk. Normally they bring it to us but today we came to the farm. From there mom took us to a friend of hers from work to see and pick out a Cocker spaniel puppy. We picked out a tan and cream girl whom we named spice.
We then took her home and picked up grandma before going to a local French restaurant for supper. We then ran and all got new shoes and I grabbed some more pink yarn for a scarf I am making Clara. We then went to a local theater for throwback movie Monday and saw snow white. I am signing off so mom can help me wash my hair and I can read for a bit before bed.
November 2nd dear diary today the older kids plus Elsie Emily and Theresa started in a homeschool program through our charter program and the little kids started the local Charter school and Daycare plus preschool. We are doing it this way so we can learn at our own pace. And so, Jake can finish school a year early as well as doing work above our grade levels. We worked until the bus dropped off all the little kids and we headed to various practices and classes, when we got home mom sat the girls and I down and let us know we had lost Great aunt Clara at age 80. Mom had me take Ellen some dinner and help her feel a bit better. With mom's permission I made her my secret recipe double salted caramel hot chocolate. We shared this and talked for a couple hours while we packed to leave. We leave morning and won't be back till the 11th. Signing off mom wants me to help Elsie and Emily pack before I pack will write after call backs on the 12th.
November 12th dear diary we got home late last night and spent today playing catchup on schoolwork. We found out today that Trixie Elizabeth and Charles have joined the homeschool group, as they need the quiet of the home environment. we are all learning at our own pace, Elsie Theresa and Emily are in the gifted track of things while the other 3 are just below average in most areas. Today I along with Susie Sam and Kimi started a teen sweater class at mom's shop, the 4 girls below us started a scarf class.
When we all arrived home mom let me know that my cousin was being sent overseas and that Susie's brothers and Kai's brother and cousin were also being sent over. This is very scary and sort of shitty sorry diary for the bad language, but I am scared and sometimes use not so nice words when I feel this way. I am signing off mom needs me to put the girls in bed as its her book club and tea night.
November 17th dear diary sorry I didn't write for a couple days I had to help mom with grandma as her care assistant is gone until the beginning of next year, she was in a car accident and has broken her leg wrist and collar bone. The backup assistant can't start till the first so mom really need my help.
December 1st dear diary I have been busy helping mom with grandma working on school and much more. We celebrated thanksgiving and Clara's 4th birthday. I found out that my aunt Helen her 2 girls my cousins Marie and Claire, along with my French grandma and great grandma are moving to the U.S.A. they arrive the 2nd full week of next month. We went and saw the show I had tickets for it was amazing, but I am glad I no longer do theater as I have discovered the Piano again and have started voice lessons and the church choir. Signing off I have Choir practice and a meeting about something special which I will tell you about tomorrow.
December 2nd dear diary just 2 weeks ago my mom's boyfriend asked for her hand in marriage, I am about to shout SHE SAID YES DIARY THIS MEANS THAT I WILL HAVE A NEW DAD AS HE PLANS TO ADOPT US GIRLS. Sorry about that but I am so excited I could burst; this will happen the week after I turn 11 and will take place at Disney world. He asked her on her birthday which was the 16th of last month but they asked me not to even write about it until they told everyone. I am signing off we are leaving for a week in the Mountains, and I won't be able to write until the 10th mom said this is family time and respite for her and I after taking care of grandma full time for almost 3 weeks.
December 11th, we didn't get home until early this morning as we had car trouble and were stuck 6 hours from home until 11 last night. So, we got home at 5 and slept until 1 before we went out for lunch and did some Christmas shopping. Before going to see the new Santa clause movie in theaters. We arrived home an hour ago and mom said I can finish writing in you then its bedtime so goodnight diary.
December 20th dear diary sorry for missing so much again we all had Bronchitis and strep so were all sick for several days. We are finally feeling almost back to normal. Mom and I went and finished Christmas shopping while dad and the girls started decorating the house. I forgot to mention last time I talked to you that dad has moved into the attic guest space. He will stay up there till he and mom are married. I am exhausted again so will tty on the 24th.
December 24th dear diary we spent today in our last year's Christmas pajamas. This evening after a meal of Oyster stew and Chicken noodle soup, we opened secret Santa gifts Elsie Bought me a ton of yarn Knitting needles crochet hooks and other craft items, Emily got Clara a new baby doll she has been wanting she got Elsie several books she is a book worm and I got Emily some beginner craft projects. Mom got grandma clothes Ellen bought Mom a few Clothes and a new dish set, Dad got Ellen a new bowling kit and grandma with my help got him some tools. We all received new Christmas pajamas and church clothes as well. Well, I better sign off its late and I am exhausted.
December 25th dear diary merry Christmas we spent the day opening gifts I received lots and lots of yarn and other craft items my big item is my first sewing machine I used to have to use moms. Elsie and Emily both received several books Elsie's big gift is a 100$ bookstore card while Emily Got her first pattern book Crochet hooks and lessons with mom's assistant and a 50$ dollar gift card to mom's shop. Clara received several baby dolls and her big item Addy the American girl doll. After gifts we had a late breakfast and mom, and I started the feast. We made a southern dinner including great grans butter milk biscuits, and great granddads chocolate sad cake so named for his comment when great gran made it the first time it's the saddest cake, I ever ate he meant it was moist this is a special story to go with an amazing recipe. I am signing off until the 1st as we are going to meet dads family and won't be home till then.
