Chapter 2: 3 Lies, 2 People

Vito met up with Principal Nezu and Aizawa by the front doors of the school. After the introductions, Vito was shown the school grounds, where the classrooms are, where to find the teachers if Vito ever needs them outside of class, the training grounds, etc.

"Now for the main part of the tour. Please follow me, everyone." Principle Nezu said as he began to march towards an elevator. "Let's go see the labs."

"Lab's? I didn't know we had any on campus." Aizawa said as he followed behind Principal Nezu.

"Oh yes, it's our most recent addition to the school. We are adding a medical department eventually but for now, the government asked us if they could use it for the time being." Principal Nezu explained. Just as everyone was in the elevator, Principal Nezu continued. "Now, Mr. Aizawa. I told you earlier today about what's going on with our new staff member here and you are very aware of how important it is to keep this a secret. Until we fully understand Vito, we will continue to keep this to ourselves and a select few." Principal Nezu explained.

"That makes sense, but do we know why the government and Vito are involved with each other yet?" Aizawa asked. Principal Nezu frowned at Aizawas questions.

"Unfortunately, right now is not the time or place to discuss this. I have only been given the bare minimum of information regarding the situation that was supplied to me by the government, so you are not the only one in the dark here Mr. Aizawa." Principal Nezu said just as the elevator doors opened to a large white room, with windowed rooms, lots of different equipment, and a small group waiting in the center of the room for their arrival.

"Welcome Principal Nezu." A man walked up to the Principal and offered his hand. "It's so nice to finally meet you. I'm Rosa, I'm the lead doctor and the one incharge of this operation." Principal Nezu shook this man's hand. He was average height, well groomed, a full beard, with a couple reddish pink lines going through it as well in his hair on his head, glasses, he wore a lab coat with gray pants and black shoes.

"I'm glad to meet you as well, Doctor Rosa. Mr. Aizawa is one of our many talented teachers here at U.A. and this is Vito." Principal Nezu said just as 2 people came behind Vito and placed cuffs and a collar around his neck. They wore black suits, tall, black shoes and dark glasses.

"What the fuck?!" Vito began to struggle because he was surprised.

"Please don't struggle." Rosa said as he walked up to Vito. "The more you struggle the tighter the restraints will get. I'm sorry for resorting to this but after reading your file, I didn't want to take any chances." Vito was pushed to his knees by the men who restrained him and pulled on his horns so he looked up at Rosa. "Let's do some basic tests today and maybe some control tests. I wanna see what your limit is."

"Fuck, you could have just asked." Vito smiled widely. "But I have to admit, these restraints are a bit of a turn on." Vito chuckled and grinning wildly. Rosa put his foot on top of Vito's dick and started to press down on it. "Oh fuck." Vito looked down because of the pain but was forced to look back up at Rosa.

"I'm already starting to see the Vito I read so much about. But….There is something else going on, isn't there?" Rosa took his foot off of Vito and took a couple steps back. "Let's get him undressed and into the restraint chair in room 1. Make sure to keep the collar on. We don't want him to be able to fight back just yet." Rosa said as Vito was forced up to his feet by the 2 men, forcing him to follow Rosa as they left Principal Nezu and Aizawa by the elevator.

"Rosa seems nice." Principal Nezu said as he turned towards the elevator.

"Are you sure this is ok?" Aizawa asked, watching the men drag Vito into a room.

"Mr. Aizawa, please stay with Vito and if you learn anything new, inform me as soon as possible." Principal Nezu said just as he walked into the elevator. Aizawa sighed and turned to follow Rosa. They put Vito into a room, surrounded by clear window like walls, a chair in the middle of the room with restraints on all sides of it. As Vito approached the chair, the chair changed into a raised operating chair like the ones you see at the dentist, where Vito was then undressed, leaving only his underwear on and then placed onto the chair where he was restrained by his arms and legs. After the 2 men left the room, some doctors and Rosa went in with some equipment.

"I hope you're ready for the first set of tests, Vito. Today will be a long day." Rosa said as he set up his station to withdraw blood.

"This is normal for me." Vito said, looking up at the ceiling. "Ever since I got this curse, I've been nothing more than a lab rat to you people. And I'm aware that you need me to stay in this form to do most of your so-called Tests." Vito said as he just laid there in the chair.

"You're right about needing you in this form, but we are not doing the same tests like the last group did back in Canada. We have permission to push you to your limit but not right away, not today at least. So if you have anything to add that isn't on paper already, I'm all ears." Rosa said he was having trouble poking Vito with a needle to withdraw some blood.

"What you said earlier is correct. Right now as I speak, it's mostly Ari's personality showing, not Vito's. But when you were dominating me earlier, Vito's violent and perverted traits were starting to unravel, showing his true nature." Vito explained. "But there's a midpoint between Vito and Ari that isn't on paper. We call it Artrio." Rosa's raised an eyebrow.

"So, this midpoint you call it. Is it a combination between you and Ari? How interesting." Rosa said, taking the needle out of Vito's arm. "Why mention this now and not with the other group in Canada?"

"I can tell you have a good soul and I already know I can trust you, more so than the last set of doctors who tested on me….They were….Dangerous to put it simply." Vito looked away. "I also only mention Artrio because they go into what I can only assume is like when a cat goes into heat. Their drive to mate can become wild and unpredictable. The only way to get them under control is to pin them down by the neck and arms and pull on the tail until they pass out." Vito explained, concerned. "But even I don't know much about them. I have only experienced them once or twice before. There are subtle hints that will start to show and that's how I know they are gonna make an appearance soon."

"Interesting…. The symptoms have already started….Haven't they?" Rosa asked as he wiped his hands clean and put on a new pair of gloves. "Let's make a plan and go over it in more detail at a later date." Vito nodded. "Due to what you have just told me, we will only do the basic tests in both forms today. Sounds good?"

"I assume I have to stay in this chair strapped down too right?" Vito asked.

"Due to the possibility of an unpredicted event with Artrio to occur, I will have to say yes for now." Rosa explained as he handed off the blood samples to a female doctor to go run some tests. "I do require to get as much DNA from every form of you today. Any additional tests will come later. This might take a while and I'm unsure if you want Mr. Aizawa to be here the whole time or not."

"He needs to stay here. Just…In case…." Vito said. Rosa wiped an area on Vito's shoulder with alcohol, preparing the area to be skin scrapped. "What are you doing now?"

"A skin scrape. Shouldn't hurt, I'm just scraping the top layer of your skin." Rosa explained just about to start.

"I'm sure you have already figured out that my skin is tough, so you will need to use some force before you will get any kind of skin sample from me." Vito explained, looking over towards Rosa.

"Guess you're right." Rosa grabs the scalpel. Rosa tried several different times to get some skin but wasn't getting any. So he pressed harder and managed to get a large amount of the top layer, he also went deeper then he originally wanted to. "Oops, sorry."

"Don't worry, you didn't go as deep as the last group. At least I'm not bleeding this time." Vito added. As the tests went on, Aizawa was watching through the glass. Being offered things occasionally, like a chair and some water in which he refused.

"Alright, Vito. If you can please transform into Ari, we can start the same tests. I have a question for you if you don't mind. Regarding Artrio. Are you able to transform into them at all?" Vito sighed, transforming into Ari.

"Unfortunately, I am unable to control when and where I can transform into Artrio. It's almost like Artrio has a mind of its own, even though they are a mix of me and Vito." Ari answered. Aizawa was stunned. This cute, short haired girl was this Vito guy all along.

"That's unfortunate." Rosa said, grabbing another set of needles and scalpels. Back at All Might's place, it's about 3:00 pm in the afternoon when he finally finished his paperwork.

"Finally, who knew there would be so much paperwork involved when becoming a teacher." He sighed in relief. "Oh right, I forgot something in Vito's room. I hope he won't mind me going in too quickly grab it." All Might got up from his chair and walked over to Vito's room, opening the door to a clean room. He quickly went into the closet to grab what he needed and just as he was about to leave, he noticed something on the nightstand. A set of blueish gray glasses. "The girl had different coloured glasses….I think…" All Might thought. He stood in the doorway for a few minutes before walking over to the nightstand, placing what he grabbed down onto the bed and picked up the glasses. Observing them closely. "These are prescribed for distance so he doesn't need them for reading…" As he was looking over the glasses, he noticed a hair caught in the nose padding, a short, brown piece of hair. "...Maybe that's someone else's hair…" As he put the glasses down, he pulled out his phone and called Nezu, grabbed what he was looking for and left the room. "Hey Principal Nezu, are you with Vito?"

"No, we went our separate ways a while ago. I believe he is still with Aizawa, I think he wants to get some after hours schooling from him." Principal Nezu replied.

"Ok, I'll send Aizawa a message. See if Vito is still with him or not." All Might said as he walked over to the couch and sat down.

"You seem very concerned for your new roommate, All Might. Is everything ok?" Principal Nezu asked.

"Ah, well….Just have some questions for him. I was supposed to go meet him after I was done with my paperwork." All Might answered.

"Ah, well you know Aizawa, if they are busy he won't answer his phone no matter how many times you message or call him. Hahaha" Principal Nezu laughed.

"Haha yeah, I'll just send him a message, don't want to interrupt his teachings." All Might said as he yawned. "That paperwork really wore me out, how do you do this everyday Principal Nezu? Got any tips for me?"

"Years of practice my friend, no easy way around it unfortunately. I have to go to a meeting so I'll have to let you go. Take it easy, All Might and take care of yourself." Principal Nezu said before hanging up the phone.

"Yeah…You too Nezu." All Might put the phone to his chest and laid down on the couch. "Guess I should send that message before I forget." He muttered to himself as he looked at his phone.

TO: Aizawa

FROM: All Might

All Might: Hey, Aizawa, I heard from the Principal you're with Vito. If you're still with him, can you do me a favor and let him know I'll be staying home and won't be able to meet up with him later.

Aizawa: Sure, no problem. Take Care.

Aizawa responded. All Might put his phone onto the coffee table just as his eyes began to get heavy and before he knew it, he was out cold. Hour's went by and All Might woke up, checking his phone, 9:00 pm it read with a few text messages and missed calls from Aizawa. He lifted himself up and rubbed his eyes just as the door was kicked open. Aizawa was carrying an unconscious Vito through the door.

"Hey, Hey! What the heck happened?!" All Might rushed to the door to help Aizawa.

"If you checked your damn phone, you would know!" Aizawa yelled. "I called you 2 hours ago!"

"Ah! Sorry, sorry! I fell asleep on the couch and didn't hear my phone go off." All Might explained as he wrapped Vito's arm around his neck. "Geez, what happened to this guy?"

"I wanted to see what his limits were…May have pushed him too far, he ended up passing out just as I was getting warmed up." Aizawa explained.

"He looks completely exhausted. You sure did a number on this kid Aizawa." All Might said as they entered Vito's room and laid him onto the bed. All Might noticed some bruising on Vito's arm underneath his clothing.

"Take care of him, I'm going to bed." Aizawa said as he left the room. "Do me a favor and keep an eye on this guy All Might, it's uncertain how he's going to feel tomorrow with how far I pushed him and I noticed he had a bit of a fever when I picked him up earlier."

"R–right…No problem. Thanks for the heads up." All Might said as he waved goodbye to his friend. He looked back at Vito, laying there in dirty clothing and looking like a semi truck just ran him over. "Guess I should help take those clothes off and put them into the wash." All Might said as he pulled off Vito's olive green long sleeved shirt. What he saw underneath the clothing, shocked All Might to the core. Bruising all over his upper body and neck with a couple cuts here and there. "This can't be all from Aizawa…Right? But I guess he is known for pushing his students too hard…." All Might continued to take the rest of the dirty clothing off and just left Vito with his boxers on. There was more bruising and cuts on his legs. All Might noticed how the bruising looked as if Vito had been restrained into a chair by the bruise pattern. All Might decided to ask about it in the morning instead of rattling his tired brain around any more tonight. After All Might put Vito's clothing into the wash, grabbed his first aid kit, and a damp cloth to clean Vito's cuts with. While finishing up cleaning the last cuts in Vito's inner thigh, he noticed another cut more towards Vito's back. It was much deeper than the other cuts he was currently cleaning. All Might pushed Vito onto his side where he saw a horrendous scene. Lashing marks, deep into his back, but not bleeding, at least, not anymore, which he thought was weird considering how deep they were. All Might noticed some odd movement in the cuts, as he looked closely, the wounds were actually already starting to heal themselves, closing the wounds without leaving any scars behind. All Might wasn't all that surprised, he has seen something similar a few times in his youth. He grabbed the damp cloth he brought with him and started to whip Vito's back, to clean all the leftover dirt before packing up the first aid kit and getting ready to leave.

"Tha-thank y-ou." Vito said to All Might. All Might just smiled and closed the door behind him, leaving Vito to rest. The next morning, Vito still wasn't out of bed and it was already 11:00 am. All Might got concerned and decided to go check up on him.

*Knock* *Knock* "Hey, how're you doing in there?" All Might asked just before he cracked the door open, letting a little bit of light into the room. Everything was still dark because the curtains were closed, preventing the sunlight from coming into the room. As he opened the door more he could see messy bed sheets and Vito laying on the floor. "Ah! Are you alright?" All Might rushed over to Vito where he was sweating and panting heavily. "Crap, you're boiling! Let's get you back into bed." All Might said, helping Vito to the bed.

"I'm sorry….." Vito said as he was gasping for breath.

"Everything will be ok. I'll open the sliding door so you can get some air and hopefully the breeze will help cool you down." All Might said as he cracked the sliding door open. Vito couldn't say anything because his throat hurt from breathing so hard. All Might sprinted out of the room and gathered a few things, Ice packs, a bowl full of ice water, a cloth, a glass of water and some medication. After placing some ice packs around Vito to try to cool him down, All Might handed him a glass of water and some medication for him to take. "Here take these." All Might said, Vito took them gladly and swallowed them. "Once your temperature drops, I'll remove the ice packs and I'll bring you something to eat." He said as he got up. Vito grabbed All Might's wrist.

"Thank you so much, I wasn't expecting you to help me." Vito said. "I really appreciate it."

"Don't worry about it, I wouldn't have left you the way you were. Not after seeing the condition you came home in last night." All Might explained as Vito let go of All Might.

"Sorry about that, I'll be sure to make you something delicious when I get better. I promise." Vito smiled with a tired look on his face.

"There's no need, I'm just happy to help. I'll come check up on you in an hour or so. So rest, you'll need it." All Might said as he started to walk out of the room. "If you got sick just from pushing yourself to your limit, I would almost advise you to stop training. But…if you are willing to do that on your first real day here at U.A. I doubt what I say will stop you." All Might said as he held the door open. "Just…Just be more careful next time." Vito gave All Might a thumbs up just as he was leaving and All Might smiled back. Vito quickly drifted off to sleep soon after All Might left the room. All Might checked on Vito throughout the night, changing his clothes and checking on his temperature. At one point in the night, All Might fell asleep next to Vito, partly on the side of bed. As the sun shined through the curtains and Vito awoke from his slumber, he noticed All Might completely out cold next to him with a cloth in his right hand. Vito smiled as he patted All Might's head.

"You really are something, aren't you All Might." Vito said just before he slowly made his way out of bed, walked around to where All Might was and picked him up, carrying him to his room and putting him to bed. All Might's room was clean and neat, a suit hung on the back of the door and a couple photos displayed on top of his dresser and nightstand. Vito didn't want to look around for too long and quickly left All Might's room with the door cracked open. That's when Vito noticed how sticky he was from sweating all night, he sniffed his arm pits and Vito made a disgusting face. "Oh man…I need a shower. I should probably wash my sheets too if I smell this bad." After Vito undid his bed and put everything into the washer, he went into the bathroom and closed the door. Looking into the mirror as Vito and noticing some marks left over from the night before. "Looks like I'm low on Iron again. God it's hard to keep your Iron levels up when you're anemic." Vito said just as he transformed back into Ari who then noticed the marks on her back. "Those guys really did a number on me last night. Look at all the bruises and marks they left behind." She grumpily muttered to herself. After a deep sigh, she turned on the shower and began to brush her teeth as the shower heated up. After a nice long shower and getting dressed, Ari transformed back into Vito just as she was leaving the bathroom. As he walked towards his room, he noticed the thermometer on the kitchen counter and decided to see what his temperature was, sticking it into his mouth. Next to the thermometer was a piece of paper, a record of the temperature readings All Might did throughout the night. "105 was the highest, no wonder I was cooking." Vito said as the thermometer beeped. The thermometer read 86 degrees and so Vito added the reading to the record just like All Might had before him. "He must have given me some pretty darn good medication last night, I've never recovered from a cold that quickly ever." As Vito walked into his room, he forgot that the curtains were still closed and decided to open them, exposing the sun and all of its light into the room, showing a beautiful day before him. *Buzz Buzz* Suddenly Vito's phone goes off, showing he received a message from Dr. Rosa and one from Principal Nezu. "I can tell my day is already going to be stupid busy." He said as he grabbed his wallet from the bed and went to put his shoes on. After putting his shoes on, Vito decided to quickly check if All Might was still sound asleep and sure enough, as Vito pushed the door slightly open, All Might was sound asleep, looking peaceful and relaxed for once. Vito smiled and quickly wrote All Might a note and left it on the kitchen counter next to the thermostat and recordings. "Thanks for taking care of me, I feel like a brand new guy! Got a message from Principal Nezu. Will be back before dinner. Vito" The note read.

Downstairs in the lab, a discovery was made from the tests that were performed on Vito and Ari the night before. As the results printed off, Rosa noticed several traits that were similar to someone he read about in the past. "I've seen these readings before, in a file I was studying while I was still in medical school." Rosa said out loud before rushing to his office. Digging in filing cabinets and boxes of files that were not yet put away. Just as he reached the last box and was about to give up, he found the file he was looking for. "AirHeardt's" The title of this bulky file was called. "I should have figured this out sooner, Ari's name and her file are so similar, how did I miss this? Even her last name is the same!"

Up stairs, at the principal's office. *Knock* *Knock* "Come in, I was just finishing up some paperwork regarding your job." Principal Nezu said, knowing who was knocking at his door.

"You've assigned me a job already?" Vito said as he entered the room.

"Yes! I'm very excited about this opportunity Lunch Rush presented to me the other day. And we just got approved to build it!" Principal Nezu said with delight.

"Oh? Sounds to me like I'm going to be building something." Vito said as he pulled the chair in front of Principal Nezu's desk and took a seat.

"No, not at all, the building itself will be built overnight. The hard work will be within the building itself." Principal Nezu explained just as someone else knocked on the door. "Ah! Perfect timing, please come in!" Lunch Rush opened the door, noticing Vito was also in the room.

"Sorry, am I interrupting?" Lunch Rush asked.

"No, no, not at all. Please come join us. I need to speak to both of you." Principal Nezu said as Lunch Rush walked over to the desk.

"Nice to see you again Vito. I hope you have considered my offer." Lunch Rush said as he offered Vito a handshake.

"Yes I have, I'll be talking to the principal today actually about it." Vito said as he smiled and shook Lunch Rush's hand.

"Now that you are both here, I would like to also tell Lunch Rush the good news." Principal Nezu said as Lunch Rush pulled a chair up next to Vito. "As I was just saying to Vito before you got here, Lunch Rush. There will be a new building constructed overnight and I have a job for Vito at this new building."

"A new building? What will it be used for?" Lunch Rush asked.

"It's the greenhouse you suggested!" Lunch Rush and Vito gasped. "I want Vito there full-time because it'll be about the width and length of the student dorms. And due to its size I need Vito to focus on keeping the greenhouse flowing with fresh vegetables and herbs." Principal Nezu said. "So, I can not allow Vito to help you in the kitchen because of this. But you both will still be working together."

"Wow….A greenhouse….And that can be built overnight?!" Vito said excitedly.

"What do you mean by, 'we will still be working together?' If we're not working together in the kitchen, I doubt I'll be much help in the garden. I may be good with my hands when it comes to food but I don't have any skills in gardening." Lunch Rush explained a little confusion.

"The greenhouse will be maintained by Vito but you, Lunch Rush, will be supervising and choosing what is needed to be planted based on your needs." Principal Nezu hopped out of his chair and walked to the window. "Vito, I know I said to keep it a secret amongst us and a select few, but I have an idea. I can tell that being in that form 24/7 has drained you immensely. It may be from what happened last night but if you include Lunch Rush into our little secret, you could work in your natural form at the greenhouse." Just as Principal Nezu finished his sentence and turned to look at Vito, Vito's face said it all.

"Secret? What are yo–" Lunch Rush was cut off by a massive poof of steam pushed into his face. As Lunch Rush looked back towards Vito, he was stunned to see a girl in his place.

"That's *Huff* A fantastic *Huff* Idea." This girl was completely out of breath and looked exhausted. "I don't think *Huff* I could have held *Huff* that for much longer anyways." The girl said as she took a drink of water.

"What the heck is going on…." Lunch Rush asked, looking at Principal Nezu then back at the girl.

"Ari here is a special case sent to us from Canada. I can't tell you all the details at this time but once I have more information, I'll be sure to update you." Principal Nezu explained.

"So your real name is Ari?" Lunch Rush asked as he looked over back at the girl.

"My legal name is Ari but when I'm in the other form you know, he won't respond to Ari, only Vito." Ari explained. "Please keep this between us. All Might doesn't even know about this, so please try to keep this just between us."

"Ah…..Right…No problem. But what does All Might have to do with any of this?" Lunch Rush asked.

"She is currently living with him until we have a room for her." Principal Nezu responded.

"WWWHHHAAATTT?!" Lunch Rush yelled, spewing spit. "Isn't th-that super creepy? A young girl living with an old man like All Might?"

"He doesn't know about me, he's only seen me as Vito. So there is no need to worry. It's only temporary. And I'm not 15 like many of the students, I'm actually 29." Ari explained just as she got up from her chair. "Principal Nezu, if you don't mind. I need to go to the lab to talk to Doctor Rosa. Are you able to answer all of Lunch Rush's questions for me?"

"Oh, yes. Don't you worry, the construction should be done by tomorrow afternoon. I'll be expecting you both to meet me there and have a full tour of the new greenhouse." Principal Nezu waved Ari off as she was about to leave the room.

"I'll be sure to be there. See you both tomorrow." Ari said just before transforming into Vito again and left the room. Vito began to make his way down the hall, to the elevator. Looking at his watch, Vito noticed that he has 3 hours before he needs to get home and make All Might dinner. Vito sighs and thinks to himself "I hope this won't take too long." He thought as he entered the elevator and pressed the lowest floor button. The elevator doors opened to the lab and Doctor Rosa waved Vito over to come to his office. "I wonder what this could be about?" Vito wondered. As Vito walked into the office, Rosa placed a file onto his desk.

"Please take a seat, there will be no testing done today." Rosa looks up and meets Vito's gaze. "We need to talk."

Back at All Might's home, he was wiping down the dining room table. "I should go run to the store and get Vito a house key. I have no idea how long he will be staying here but he needs a way to get in, especially if I'm not home." All Might said as he walked over to the sink and rinsed the rag he used. He hung the rag and looked out the window in the living room, the view from his room always amazed him. He noticed a note on the kitchen counter, he picked up the note and read it. "6:00….That's soon. I should hurry and get that key for Vito before he gets home." He said as he grabbed his wallet from the counter and slipped on some shoes. "Principal Nezu sure is keeping him busy, I just hope he's feeling better and not just hiding it." All Might sighs as he closes the door behind him. "It's only been 3 days and he's already a pain in my side." All Might walked to the convenience store and had a quick chat with the store owner as the key was being cut.

"Don't worry about it, it's on the house." The store owner said, patting the back of his head. All Might looked surprised. "You have done so much for us over the years as a pro hero and you come here all the time! It's the least I can do."

"Oh…Thank you!" All Might said, thanking the owner.

"Haha, no worries All Might." The owner said. By the time All Might got home, Vito was just about to knock on his door. "Oh! You're back early." All Might smiled and waved at Vito as he walked towards him from the elevator.

"Oh….Yeah, I just had to fill out some paperwork and Principal Nezu gave me the rest of the day off." Vito explained, moving out of the way for All Might to unlock the door. But instead, All Might handed Vito the new key.

"I figured you would need one eventually. I was just about to see if it worked." All Might explained, moving away from the door. "Why don't you give it a try?" All Might smiled but noticed Vito's expression. He seemed tired and lost in thought as he stared at the key All Might just gave him. "Everything alright?" All Might asked.

"Ah! Yeah sorry!" Vito snapped back into reality and quickly put the key into the door, turning it. "Nice! It worked." Vito said surprised.

"That's great, now you can come and go as you please." All Might patted Vito's shoulder. "Now what should we have for dinner?" All Might asked before opening the door and walking in, taking his shoes off and hanging up his jacket.

"Don't worry about that, I have to repay you for your kindness." Vito said, walking behind All Might.

"You know, you don't have to do that. You had a pretty high fever and I couldn't just stand by and do nothing. By the way, how are you feeling?" All Might asked with a concerned face.

"I feel great! Thanks again by the way, the medication you gave me worked like a hot damn." Vito said as he took off his shoes. "I didn't mean to concern you, I've just had a lot on my mind these last few days."

"I see, well. Why don't we work on turning that frown upside down as they used to say." All Might chuckled and gave Vito a thumbs up. "And besides, you're not the only one who lives here that likes to cook Vito."

"I….Didn't know." Vito, shocked, followed All Might to the kitchen.

"I would really like to use these peaches before they go bad." All Might said, grabbing the bag of peaches out of the fridge. "I had plans to make a hot pot 2 days ago but I was too full from the plate of food you gave me that day."

"How about you make the hot pot, since I've never actually made one before. And I'll make dessert using these peaches." Vito suggested to All Might as he took the bag from him.

"You've never made a hot pot? That's a surprise." All Might said. "But all right. It's been a while since I've made one so I apologize ahead of time if it's no good." Vito laughed at All Might's comment. "W-what's so funny?!"

"S–sorry, I'm sure it'll taste delicious if you're making it." Vito said with a big grin before an awkward silence. Vito was blushing and so was All Might. "I…..Uh….I meant…..Let's work together!" Vito scrambled for words.

"UH! Yeah! Let me grab everything I need from the fridge first." All Might turned away and started to grab items from the fridge. Vito grabbed the peaches and began to peel them by hand, placing them to the side when they were done. "Here, this will help." All Might handed Vito a knife and placed a cutting board in front of him.

"Oh! Thank you." Vito grabbed the knife from All Might.

"Do you need a bowl to place the peaches in?" All Might asked.

"If you wouldn't mind, 2 bowls would be nice." Vito answered, All Might kneeled down as he looked for the bowls for Vito. "Hey…" All Might looked up as he got the bowls. "Thanks again, for the key. It makes me happy knowing you thought of me." Vito smiled as All Might handed over the bowls to Vito.

"I haven't exactly been a good host to you since you got here. And….I need to apologize." All Might scratched the back of his head and looked ashamed. "I, myself have had a lot on my mind recently and when you showed up, I was also massively behind on my paperwork and exhausted at the time."

"There is no need to apologize, All Might. I understand, to you I'm still a stranger that just walked into your home, unwelcomed." Vito stopped peeling the peaches for a brief moment. "I hope we can live together in peace until I have my own place." Vito explained before starting to cut the peeled peaches. All Might looked away from Vito before taking a deep breath and transforming into his muscle form.

"Don't you worry, young man! I couldn't have asked for a better roommate! Thanks for making this place spotless by the way!" All Might gave Vito a thumbs up as he smiled heroically before changing back to his weak form. *Cough*Cough* All Might coughed into his forearm. Vito had to stop what he was doing because he started to laugh.

"Well, that's one way to lighten up the mood." Vito said as he noticed All Might wiping some blood off of his lip. "That form really does a number on you huh."

"Yeah, I already used up my time limit for the day. Anything more and this happens." All Might explained. "Now, let's get dinner on the move here and enjoy getting to know one another." All Might said with a smile. Vito and All Might chatted about various things as they worked together to make dinner. Laughs were made and stories were told. Vito just placed his pastry into the oven just as the hot pot started to bubble. Cut vegetables and meat served on plates, dipping sauces, cooked noodles, and freshly brewed tea were all placed neatly onto the table.

"Wow, this looks delicious! You will have to show me how to eat this." Vito said as he sat down at the table. All Might walked over with 2 cups of tea and handed one to Vito.

"Haha thanks, thanks for helping me cut up the vegetables and taste the broth." All Might said, placing his cup down and taking a seat. "So you really never had a hot pot before?" All Might asks. Vito shook his head.

"No, but I've always been curious. Me and my mom would watch cooking shows all the time and sometimes we would see a hot pot being made or tasted on the TV. But that would be the closest I've ever gotten to one." Vito explained, looking down at his plate with a saddened look.

"So….When was the last time you saw your family?" All Might asked as he placed some vegetables and meat onto his plate. "If you don't mind me asking."

"I don't mind….I'm just….Mentally done for the day with deep stuff like that. Could you ask me again another time?" Vito asked All Might. All Might agreed and explained how to eat a hot pot to Vito. "Oh man! This is so good!" Vito said with stars in his eyes with his first bit of meat.

"Haha yeah, it's a dish I enjoy a lot but only have once in a while." All Might said as he ate a piece of a cooked vegetable. "I usually do it when I know I will have company over but on occasion, I just make it for myself."

"This dish does seem to be more for a group than a single person." Vito placed another piece of meat into the broth to cook.

"So, has Principal Nezu assigned you a job yet?" All Might asked as he dipped his meat in some sauce.

"Ah, no, not yet. But I heard they are building a greenhouse tonight and wont be done until tomorrow afternoon." Vito said, looking at All Might. "Principal Nezu wants me to go there tomorrow to check it out with him. Give my opinion and maybe some ideas since I have past experience with gardening."

"Maybe you could work there? If you like gardening." All Might suggested.

"Possibly, I also heard there is a waiting list for the greenhouse." Vito added just as the timer goes off for Vito's pastry. "Oh! Excuse me." Vito got up and walked to the oven where he pulled out a peach cobbler, fresh from the oven.

"That smells good. What did you end up making with the peaches?" All Might asked just as he finished his meal.

"Peach cobbler, it's a dish we make back home, not too sweet and tastes amazing with vanilla ice cream." Vito explained as he placed the dish on top of the oven. "Are you done eating All Might?" Vito asked when he noticed All Might's plate was empty.

"I am." All Might said. Vito walked over to All Might and grabbed his dishes.

"Let me just get these out of your way then." He said and brought him over a bowl of peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream to All Might. All Might gasped at the dish before him like it was gold.

"I should wait…..For you to finish before tasting this…." All Might looked away from the peach cobbler.

"Don't you worry, I just finished dinner as well." Vito got up and bought himself a bowl of peach cobbler before sitting down just as All Might transformed.

"Fantastic! I've never had such peachy deliciousness in a bowl before! And it's out of this world!" He said heroically as he finished the dish.

"It's a simple dish really, I can give you the recipe if you would like." All Might grabs Vito's hands and looked deep into his eyes.

"Yes!" All Might said seriously with his wide smile. Vito laughed sarcastically at All Might's reaction.

"Su-sure…..No problem." Vito said as All Might let go of his hands.

"Now I'll be able to save lives, with peach cobbler! AH HAHA HA HA!" All Might laughed as he transformed back into his weaker form.

"Ha ha ha, you could definitely make someone's day with this dessert that's for sure." Vito said as he dug into his dessert. After both were done with dessert, they cleaned up, put the dishes away and both of them took a seat on the couch.

"Would you like to watch some tv? Or maybe a movie?" All Might asked.

"*Yawn* I think I could stay awake long enough for a movie. What's playing?" Vito asked as he rested his head on his hand.

"Hmm, let's have a look." All Might browsed and found a movie for them to watch. About midway through the movie, All Might noticed Vito had fallen asleep on the arm rest of the couch. All Might got up and went to grab a blanket for Vito, as he came back with a blanket, Vito was up and getting a glass of water from the kitchen. "Sorry, did I wake you? I was just grabbing you a blanket."

"No, I just woke up and noticed you were gone." Vito said as he took a sip of water. "Figured you went to bed actually, so I was just about to go to bed myself."

"Well, I guess it is late." All Might said, putting the blanket down on the arm rest. "I've done all my paperwork until the kids come back to school, would you like me to show you the city a bit tomorrow?" All Might suggested.

"That sounds nice but I don't know what Principal Nezu has planned for me after we go see the greenhouse. If I'm free, I'll let you know." Vito suggested as he placed his empty glass down next to the sink.

"Oh, okay. Mind if I come along with you? I'm kinda curious about the greenhouse since you mentioned it earlier." All Might asked.

"I can definitely ask if you can come. I personally don't see an issue but I don't really have a say." Vito said as he walked up to All Might. "I'll give Principal Nezu a text before I go to bed and see what he says."

"Don't worry about it, I'll go ahead and ask for you. You look like you're going to pass out." All Might said as he turned and walked towards his bedroom. "Have a goodnight, Vito."

"Goodnight, All Might." Vito said back as All Might closed his door. Vito turned off the living room light just as he opened his bedroom door. Vito walked to his bed and flopped onto it after closing the door behind him. Vito transformed into Ari as he laid on top of the bed and dug his face into the blankets. Ari began to tear up remembering the question All Might asked earlier about her family. Ari silently cried throughout the night and eventually fell asleep. As morning came, Ari woke up to the sound of the shower running in the distance. Ari put the slippers on and covered herself with a robe before transforming into Vito. As he opened his bedroom door, Vito was rubbing his eyes just as All Might came out of the washroom with just a towel around his waist. Vito stopped in his tracks and was staring at All Might's large scar along his side.

"Oh…Good morning. Sorry, let me go cover up." All Might said as he rushed to his room. Vito just watched All Might run to his room, not saying a word about the situation that just occurred. Vito sighed because he was so tired from crying throughout the night and while he was pouring the hot water into the teapot, he didn't notice it overflowing and the hot water spilling onto his hand.

"MOTHERFUCKER!" Vito yelled, surprised by the sudden burning sensation and quickly turned on the kitchen tap on cold before putting his burnt hand under the water. All might, rushed out of his room with a white t-shirt on and only his underwear.

"Are you alright?!" All Might frantically said, rushing into the kitchen where Vito had his hand under the tap.

"Yeah…..Just…Burnt myself…" Vito frustratingly said.

"I have some ice packs that you can use." All might said as he noticed the mess next to Vito.

"No…I'll be fine." Vito said as he rubbed his face. "What a way to wake up."

"Here." All Might handed Vito an ice pack wrapped in a cloth. "Let me clean this up and you can go sit at the table." All Might ordered as he grabbed a cloth to clean up the mess Vito made. "You seem a little off this morning. Did you not get enough sleep?"

"No, not really. My head wouldn't stop no matter what I tried." Vito explained as he leaned back into the dining table chair, starting to doze off at the table. All Might noticed Vito starting to drift off.

"Let me have a look at your hand before you fall asleep at the table." All Might asked as he grabbed Vito's injured hand. "Doesn't look too bad. Probably a good idea to keep that ice on it until the swelling stops." He explained.

"O-okay….." Vito was struggling to stay awake right in front of All might. "So-rry for causing you trouble."

"Alright, young man. I think it's time for you to go back to bed." All Might said just as he transformed into his muscle form and picked up Vito.

"No, no, I'm good. Just…Give me a moment to wake-ak-e up." Vito said in All Might's arms, passing out as he held him.

"Guess I'll inform Principal Nezu that Vito won't be showing up today." All Might said as he pushed Vito's door with his foot and placed him back in bed. Just after All Might pulled up the covers on Vito, he noticed the glasses again on the night table. All Might decided to ignore them once again and walked over to the sliding doors, closing the curtains. "I'll ask him about those at another time." He thought to himself. All Might looked back just as he was about to close Vito's door behind him. "I guess I shot the gun too quickly on you, young man. Last night was definitely one heck of an eye opener." He thought to himself before closing the door as quietly as he could. All Might transformed back into his weaker form and walked into the kitchen to grab his phone.

TO: Nezu

From: All Might

All Might: Hey, Principal Nezu. Vito won't be coming in today.

Nezu: Oh dear, Is everything ok?

All Might: Yeah, he burnt himself this morning and then passed out at the dining room table. So I just put him back to bed. I should keep an eye on him.

Nezu: That was very kind of you All Might, tell Vito to send me a message when he's up. I'll go with him to the greenhouse at another time.

All Might: Ok, will do. TTYL

Nezu: Later.

All Might put his phone into his back pocket and picked up the teapot, bringing it to the coffee table. He grabbed the remote for the TV just as he looked outside, rain clouds were coming in.

"Probably a good thing Vito didn't go out today. He might catch a cold with the rain that's coming in." All Might said as he pressed the power button and turned on the TV, pouring himself some nice hot tea as he relaxed on the couch. "Maybe I'll have a bath after this cup of tea. Haven't had one of those in a long time." As the day went on and the rain clouds turned into a storm, Vito still hadn't woken up since this morning. All Might checked up on Vito throughout the day and messaged Principal Nezu with updates. By the time Vito actually emerged from his room, it was 11:24 pm at night. He yawned, scratching the back of his head and noticed All Might passed out on the couch. Vito walked over to All Might and put a blanket over him to keep him warm, the temperature was cooler because of the storm still going on outside. When the blanket touched All Might's hand, he jerked awake. "Oh, hey! You're awake." All might said half asleep, rubbing his eyes. "You scared me."

"Sorry….I didn't mean to wake you. You just looked cold and I wanted to make sure you wouldn't get sick so I was just putting a blanket over you." Vito said as he pulled back a little. All Might grabbed the corner of the blanket and looked up at Vito.

"Thank you, it is a bit chilly. You don't look as tired as you did earlier, you slept through the entire day." All Might said, pulling the blanket over his shoulders.

"Yeah…..I'm not sure why I've been so tired lately, maybe I haven't fully recovered from that cold I had." Vito sighed as he backed away from All Might who looked nice and cozy with the blanket around him. "Damn that's cute." Vito thought to himself.

"It's possible, I kinda figured you did recover rather quickly, I don't think the medication was able to do its job completely." All Might said as he got up from the couch and wrapped the blanket around him. "I'll go grab you some more medication." All Might said, waddling over to the bathroom.

"Sure, do you really think I need to take more medication? I feel fine." Vito answered as All Might came out of the bathroom with pills in his hand.

"With how you've been behaving over these past few days, I would take the medication. Even if you don't have a fever anymore or you don't feel sick anymore, it doesn't mean that the cold has completely finished running its course yet." All Might explained as he handed Vito the pills and handed him a cup with cold tea.

"Yeah…You're right. That cold is probably still in my system." Vito acknowledged as he took the pills. "Thank yo-" Vito's body became stiff as All Might pressed his hand onto Vito's forehead, checking his temperature.

"You feel a bit warm still but nothing to be concerned about." All Might turned and walked towards the kitchen. "You haven't eaten in hours, you're probably starving. I'll cut some apples." All Might said as he took out 2 apples from the fridge and started to cut them up. Vito's face was a bit red from what he just experienced before realizing he forgot about the greenhouse.

"Oh shit! I need to message Principal Nezu and apologize!" Vito said, rushing into his room and grabbing his phone.

"No need to worry, I've already messaged Principal Nezu." Vito poked his head out from his room and looked at All Might cutting up the apples.

"You….Have? Thank you!" Vito said as he looked at his phone. There was a message from Principal Nezu.

TO: Vito

FROM: Nezu

Principal Nezu: Hope you're doing ok, All Might has kept me updated throughout the day. Please take care of yourself and I'll see you tomorrow morning at 8am. Meet at the greenhouse.

Vito sighed in relief as he read the message, he then walked over to the dining room table and took a seat just as All Might placed the plate of cut apple slices.

"Eat up, these shouldn't be too hard on your stomach." All Might said as he sat down at the table with Vito. "I got these from the farmers market a few days ago."

"They taste amazing! Been a long time since I've had apples this fresh." Vito said as he ate a few more slices of apple. "These remind me of back home. Living near the apple fields…"

"Hey…..Uh….I wanted to apologize for my question earlier….About….Your family." All Might said as he looked towards the floor. "I'm sorry if that upset you." Vito shook his head in disagreement.

"No, no, it's fine. I don't mind you asking questions about me at all. Earlier I just…Was already emotionally drained and on edge. I didn't want to start crying in front of you and ruin the lovely dinner we made together." Vito explained as he put his hands together on the table and looked at them, then up at All Might. "Look…All Might. My beginning doesn't start out with sunshine and rainbows to put it simply. I've had a hard life from the moment I was born and…Some deeper stuff followed my family all around the world." All Might listened intently. "I do miss my family a lot….But, I'm no longer welcome or able to contact them by any means."

"I see…..What happened that was so bad that you can't contact them anymore?" All Might asked as he got up and walked to the kitchen, turning on the kettle to make some tea.

"A curse fell upon me after my father died and I didn't heed my family's warnings." Vito answered, taking another bit from a slice of apple. "I didn't come to japan because I wanted to, All Might. I was forced to come here, forced to have information shoved into my brain so I could live here without any issues." Vito added.

"What do you mean…Forced?" All Might asked as he poured the tea into 2 cups and handed one to Vito.

"At this time…I wish I could tell you…But can't.…" Vito hesitated. "Please don't worry about me…I'll be fine. I've already begun to feel welcome here and I can see I'm already making a new home for myself." Vito said as he took a sip of tea.

"I see...Well I'm glad you are looking at the positives, Vito." All Might grabbed a slice of apple and took a bit. "By the way, I have another question." Vito looked up at All Might, confused. "I noticed last night a set of glasses on your night stand. I've never seen you wear them before and was wondering. What do you need them for?" All Might asked as he finished his piece of sliced apple.

"Oh! I don't need them anymore. They are more of a reminder of my past more than anything else. Like the photos in your room but instead of a photo I have those glasses." Vito explained.

"When were you in my room?" All Might asked, confused.

"Oh! Uh! You fell asleep next to me when I was sick in bed. It didn't look overly comfortable so I took you to your room and put you to bed. That's when I noticed the photos…Sorry for…Not telling you." Vito apologized.

"Oh, I was wondering how I got there. I didn't remember putting myself to bed at all after the last time I checked up on you that night." All Might laughed. "I guess I can't do all nighters anymore like I used to." Vito took the last apple slice and finished his tea before taking the plate to the sink.

"I wish I could tell you everything All Might…But my lips are currently being held down by a million pound weight regarding my past." Vito turned towards All Might and leaned against the counter. "When things clear up and I'm able to talk freely again, I'll tell you everything. But for now…..That's all I can really say." All Might got up and brought his cup to the sink.

"Look, I understand…I lived with my secret for decades. Not being able to show my true form to anyone but the people closest to me." All Might explained. "I know losing someone close to you is painful. If you ever just want to talk, I'm here if you want me to be." All Might said as he patted Vito's shoulder. "I'm off to bed. I'll see you sometime tomorrow." All Might waved goodnight as he walked away and into his room. Vito just leaned against the counter for a while after All Might went to his room, thinking about the events that had happened and might happen. Vito sighed in frustration and went to his room, but instead of going to bed, Vito decided to chill out on the balcony, to get some fresh air. The cold breeze and the smell from the wet earth around him reminded him of home, how he used to play in the rain with his cousins before his life went to shit.

"Tomorrow is another day, a new start. Time to move forward and forget these painful memories." Vito said after being out on the balcony for a while. "If I get sick again from being out here for too long, I'm sure I'll be hearing about it from All Might." Vito walked back inside and closed the sliding door behind him.
