Thank you all for the support I decided to bust out another chapter before I go away for the day. XXX

Chapter 4 Looking the Part

I woke up mid-afternoon to an empty bed. Memories of what I agreed to hit me at full force. I was married to a prince for the next year. My stomach growled as I got of bed and opened the curtains. It was mid-day and my hangover was subsiding. Sat on the rather large table was an array of food with a note.

"Bella, I hope you slept well. Alice and I are off securing a few loose ends. Please don't leave before I get back. Edward"

I sighed enjoying a moment to myself. Was this my last time alone for a while? I grabbed a piece of toast and my phone which must have shut off sometime in the night. Edward must have charged it for me. I powered it on and was suddenly flooded with messages.

"Bella hope you had fun last night! That guy was HOT!" -Jess

"Bells we are worried we haven't heard from you are you alive?" - Ang

"Write us back we are getting worried!" - Ang

"Hey Bells, just wanted to check how your trip is going?" -Charlie

I teared up at Charlie's message, how would I ever explain this to him? I had a pen pal named Eddie turned out he's a prince and we eloped! It sounded like a silly movie you watched that was so far-fetched.

Quickly I wrote back a text to Jess and Ang telling them I was alive and well just resting in Eddie's room. I sent Charlie a message telling him I was having a good time and closed my message app. I opened up google typing in Edward's name to see what it could dig up. He was 30 years old, though he looked a little younger. He was 5 years older than I was. He was next in line for the throne but it seemed years off before he would take over. His father, the king, was in great health it appeared. Edward worked closely with an orphanage in their home country, my heart swelled. He seemed very involved with all his charity contributions. He had another brother named Emmett that was 27 years old, he was unmarried. Alice was 25, she was the youngest. She was married to a man named Jasper who owned his own consulting firm in Cordova. They had married about a year ago. No wonder she was so excited to set up our ceremony- the photos of their union were gorgeous. I had a feeling she planned every detail.

Edward had some very bad press as of late. There was doubt how serious he was about the throne. He also was known to be a playboy and sped through all his relationships breaking hearts along the way. He was known as the "heartbreak prince" I winced at the name. I could see why these women had fallen for him. His parents were Carlisle and Esme, king and queen. They looked kind and seemed to be well-liked by the public. The queen's eyes seemed genuine in every photo I swiped through. I searched through pictures of Cordova next, it was gorgeous. It was smaller than I expected but seemed to have beautiful summers and very cold winters. I never had traveled further than Mexico, planes and I were not friends. I put my phone away unable to research things anymore. My head was starting to explode from all the information I had collected.

I jumped into the shower again cleansing my body and letting the heat calm my nerves. A pack of toiletries was on the counter with my name on it, I greedily brushed my teeth and combed my hair enjoying feeling like a clean and non-hungover person. I pulled my phone out again and searched "Vegas" "Edward Cullen" Relief washing over me, the story had not been released yet.

A knock on the door alerted me I quickly slipped on the robe again making a mental note I needed to grab my clothes once Edward was back. I opened the door quickly to find a blonde woman at the door grinning at me.

"Hello I'm Rose" she smiled. She had a hint of a southern twang to her voice. She was beyond stunning. Confused, I smiled politely to her, unsure who she was and the purpose of her visit.

"Alice and Edward sent me" she laughed realizing I had no clue why she was there.

"I'm here to help you look like a princess, I'm a stylist here in the states. Alice and I know each other through some mutual contacts. Don't worry I signed an NDA so your secret is safe with me princess" she emphasized the word princess.

"Nice to meet you Rose, thank god you know the truth. I'm awful at lying" biting at my lip yet again. I let out a sigh, happy I wouldn't have to lie to another person. I let her in and laughed at the idea of someone who was in charge of my wardrobe. My wardrobe consisted of chuck Taylor's and a pair of skinny jeans.

"Darling we have a lot to try on- maybe eat a bit more this will take a while. A princess needs a stellar wardrobe if people are going to believe you. Half of believing is just seeing" she smiled again. I grabbed another mouthful of toast and eggs my stomach was still pretty empty. I hated shopping so I was dreading trying on so many clothes.

Rose was a very fun person to be around. Her presence was refreshing, calming even. I would have been lost without her help. Suddenly the door opened and Alice ran in as did 6 different clothing racks all packed with various upscale clothing. One rack was dedicated to wedding dresses. My face turned bright pink, I never had worn a wedding dress before.

"Am I too late for the fashion show?" Alice grinned. I just laughed in response it was clear these two would enjoy this whole process much more than I would. Edward was sent away on wedding duties while we tried on each item of clothing. Alice and Rose debated over each item, their knowledge of fashion was very evident. I felt like a little doll being put into pieces I never could afford. I glanced at one price tag and my jaw dropped, $1000 for just a dress. This could cover most of my rent for the month.

"Are we almost done?" I sighed as I tried on the last wedding dress. Alice and Rose gasped as I walked out, I swear I saw tears in both their eyes. It was simple but form-fitted. I think we all agreed it was the clear winner. I felt glamorous in it. Alice placed a veil on my head and I spun around for them. Gasps continued.

"Bella you look like a princess!" Alice chirped.

"Darling the world will defintely believe your union in this" Rose agreed. I turned to the mirror and they were right. I did look like a blushing bride in this. From the outside perspective, it was just so real. The ring, the veil, and the dress. I looked the part- they had accomplished that for sure.

Exhaustion overtook me as I grabbed another bite of food.

"Isabella you better change out of that dress immediately!" Alice sternly told me off. My items from my hotel room had arrived as well, how they got them I wasn't sure. I changed into a basic tee and jeans feeling more and more like myself.

Alice and Rose packed away the items choosing which ones would stay in my wardrobe. We were to pack them up and send them off to Cordova. I was not allowed to bring my jeans and chucks. I was under strict orders from both the girls.

Edward walked in next smiling at my wardrobe selection. "You tried on the most expensive clothes and you're wearing that?" He laughed.

"Don't worry Alice and Rose have ordered me not to bring any of my clothing" I laughed back. He moved towards me twirling my hair.

"Bring your clothes Bella I want you to be you. It's refreshing" a blush swept across my face. The man had a way with words.

"Everything is set for tomorrow, we will take our photos and release them. I was able to push the news story to tomorrow for an exclusive with our photos. Tomorrow the world will know you are a princess" he half-smiled knowing it was far out of my comfort zone.

"We need to stay for another day. My friend Jess is getting married the following day I'm her maid of honor" I sighed how would Ang and her take the news that we were married.

Edward sensed my internal debate. Unsure of the answer of how we would explain our union to them. They saw us meet, they knew the truth. It was something we would address tomorrow after our "wedding." Edward kissed me lightly distracting me from my worries. It was working, I let myself enjoy him as he deepened our kiss. My head was starting to get clouded by all the information I received today. The world would know tomorrow. Edward was referred to as a royal playboy.

Heartbreak prince popped back into my head. I slowly retreated, I had to be careful. I didn't want my heart to get broken next. Sensing my need for distance Edward gave me my space. We ate our dinners in silence. His eyes smoldered anytime I looked his way. This was going to be a long year.

We popped on a movie that we both could zone out to. The silence was still there. He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him. Comfort washed over me. We fell asleep in each other's arms letting go of the wild day that had passed us.
