Hey all. I am back.
As I am writing this, this will probably be my last Chapter for this Story.
I know that many of you would want me to include the Movie into this story as well as Season 2, but to be honest, I haven't found a valid reason to actually watch the former…I mean, the Movie's Plot can basically be narrowed down to this: Bad Guys send an Agent to infiltrate the School to find Intel/Data on MC, MC catches wind of this, a big fight ensues, MC wins…blablabla. At least that is what I read on the Wiki (Much more informative in my opinion), and the second season…I will firstly need to watch it.
No seriously, these things are becoming too predictable. I hardly watch Anime Movies because of the Outcome and Plot (unless I have reason to believe that it is different from other Anime) but because of the Action, fighting scenes and sometimes just to find Plot Hijinks that I could use as Ideas in my works.
And the second Season is just too rigid (in my opinion). As of starting to write today (Aug 2021) the final version of this chapter, I can't currently think of ways to incorporate Naruto into the storyline there without making an unstable story…

This means that all Shadow Blade and Red Spiral elements had to get ready for active combat immediately, even if it means revealing one's secret Identity. Guest: I had planned something Similar to the Iron Man thing but the Suitcase was the only Viable Option I could think off that was both practical and not immediately recognisable for what it was. And no. Nano Tech will not make an appearance. That was one of the first things I crossed out as possibilities for this Story. Besides, I intended for this suit to be an experimental or emergency device that does not have as many gizmos as the normal Red Spiral armour does.
Z.L.C. genesmith: I have never used it since by the time I get it in ME3, I usually already have a rifle that I prefer…

On with the Story…
But before that…I reworked the last Chapter to be a bit more lore friendly.
Chapter 12, Scorched Halloween
"Major, why are you here exactly?" Kushina asked after letting Hinata sweat for a bit, before looking around, seeing Tatsuya saluting the man. "And is he the operative you told me about? The one who can stand up to Shadow here?" she pointed a thumb at Naruto/Shadow Fox.
Kazama nodded. "Indeed. And since we have temporarily lifted the clearance on information, the rest of the occupants in this room know it as well."
"…you do realize that you have just painted a huge target on their backs there, right?" Shadow said, folding his arms. "Once the USA, Russia, China and who-else send their Agents here, it will only be a matter of time until they discover that they are privy to THAT."
"Don't take us for some weak willed people…" Mayumi began, but wilted slightly when Shadow turned his head towards her, 'eye' glowing orange.
"I was motely talking about the pair of Mice you have in your group." He said, pointing at Honoka and Mizuki, who quickly hid behind Shizuku and Mikihiko respectively. He gave a sigh, before turning to Kushina. "Will you place the Seal, or should I?"
"Forget it…that will paint an even bigger target on their backs." Kushina responded. "I told you before, the Ancient Magic unique to our Clan is not to be used on Allies, regardless of situation or purpose. The Shitstorm that would raise…"
Meanwhile, the rest of the room was growing really uncomfortable at the discussion.
"Can we continue already?" Tatsuya asked, with Miyuki nodding in agreement.
Kushina and Shadow just nodded before returning their attention back to the group.
"What is your exfil plan?" Shadow asked.
"We have a flight of Helicopters incoming from the North to evacuate all remaining non-combatants from this building and fly them behind friendly lines. They are to arrive within the next 20 minutes, depending on how hot the airspace is." Kazama answered.
Kyouko then explained the rest of their plan, with a pair of JSDF soldiers coming in to bring Tatsuya to their Trailer where he can suit up.
"Shadow, how many people do you have at hand?" Kushina asked, looking at the map.
"Currently only 5 Units on site. The other 4 are out of the country in Africa and South America." Shadow answered. "Desert Dog and Brawling Rapper were to guard the evacuation through the tunnels whilst Hellcat and Beetle were set to aid the JSDF units until you overruled my orders." Shadow said. "Speaking of which…Rapper, Desert Dog, Beetle, Hellcat, Shadow Fox. Over."
"Go ahead yo, Nine-Oh. Overee-yo." Rapper responded.
"Go ahead, Sir." Desert Dog answered.
"I read you, Boss." Hellcat answered.
"Is it time to have some fun?" Beetle responded.
"New Orders. Evac is coming soon to take the civis out of the building. Once they leave, your units are to launch operation Cardinal North and help the Green Twigs. Lima Foxtrot is approved." Shadow said.
"Fucking finally!" all four of them answered, making Shadow blink under his mask.
"What are you doing?" Kushina asked as he turned to leave the room.
"4 of my Units will soon strike out against the invaders, once the civis have been evacuated. My personal Unit and I will be directing the battle from this building." He answered.
"And us?" Sasuke asked.
"You are to sit there, roll over, grow a pair and protect this group once they make their way to an evac site, and most importantly, shut up and listen to Inuzuka-san." Shadow said before closing the door behind him. He couldn't keep the smirk off his face if his life depended on it when he heard Kiba's roar of laughter combining with Sasuke roaring in outrage. 'That's for the time you tried to beat me up on Campus, Teme.' He thought to himself. 'At least, Part 1 of many more to come…'
Back inside the room
Hinata sweatdropped at the scene that followed.
Sasuke was busy plotting revenge against Shadow Fox, Sakura was hissing in total agreement with her Boyfriend (after Kushina sent her a deadly glare when she started screaming shortly after Naruto left), Ino, Chouji, Shikamaru and Temari were chuckling, Shino was stoic as ever though if one looked closely, one could see his shoulders shaking slightly, and Kiba was still rolling around on the floor.
As for the others, Mayumi looked rather pale as she took deep breaths to calm herself, Mari was looking at Sasuke and Sakura as though they were growing second heads, Suzume was as stoic as ever though one could see a hint of a smile on her face, Azusa was not paying attention as she was muttering something about weapons, Miyuki just smiled as though this was nothing new to her (And here Hinata realized that Miyuki and Tatsuya probably knew that Naruto was Shadow Fox), Honoka was fearfully poking her head out from behind Shizuku, Jumonji was, like Suzume, keeping a poker-face with a small smile. The rest were just too stunned to show much on their faces…except for Shikamaru, who had a bulging vein on his forehead, showing how hard he was thinking.
"Alright, laugh time's over." Kushina clapped her hands. When they still didn't calm down, she made a show of dramatically cocking the trigger of her Shotgun.
"Now that everyone is calm and out of danger…" Kushina said, whilst holding a cocked and loaded Shotgun at certain members of the Konoha Group, with a twitching finger resting on the trigger. "…can we get this circus moving?"
"What do you suggest we do, Kushina-dono?" Hazama asked.
"As Shadow Fox said," Kushina responded. "You people wait for the Transports, though I will contact Konoha's Kage to have orders sent for this lot. I will leave a Team with you for protection though."
"And you?" Hinata asked.
"I'll go join Shadow Fox in the FOB he is setting up." She answered.
Some time later, Shadow Blade + Red Spiral FOB
"Shadow Fox, Sloth here." Naruto heard over his radio.
"Sloth, Shadow Fox. Report." He answered.
"We have a possible Charlie Echo X-Ray." Sloth answered. "The last heli has been forced to land. Before the transport was destroyed, we received the beginning of what I believe to be an SOS followed by a location marker."
Naruto swore under his breath. "Next time, don't give such long explanations. Otherwise I'll pin your callsign to you for life." He growled as he grabbed his Rifle and his helmet.
"Commander, I leave the FOB to you." He turned to Kushina, who nodded. He then linked his radio to that of the other commanders in the area. "This is Shadow Fox, joining the party."
"Don't worry, bru. We left some for you." Rapping Brawler responded.
"Romeo Zulu." Naruto barked into his radio, calling for all available Shadow Blade Elements to converge on his location. Within minutes, 8 Operators and a Shadow Blade VTOL were assembled and Naruto, now as Shadow Fox, briefed them on their mission.
"We have a downed Heli carrying students about 10 Mikes from here. Drone recon indicates that some hostiles are already engaged with more on their way." He said. "This will be a hot VIP rescue, so stay alert."
"Sir." The Operatives all called out before boarding the VTOL, that soon cloaked itself as it flew towards Mayumi and her group.
With Mayumi's group
Kei ducked behind cover as a bullet struck the barricade near his head.
"There's too many of them." He called out.
"Tell me something I don't know!" Mari shouted back, sending a rifleman flying, only to duck herself when 2 more appeared and opened fire on her position.
"Help is on the way!" Miyuki called, before creating a wall of ice to protect their flank just as a mech appeared, it's rotary cannon still smoking.
"It had better come here quickly…" Kanon called.
"Incoming!" Kirihara shouted, seeing a missile heading their way, and quickly jumping at Mibu.
Kei, seeing the missile, did the same for Kanon whilst the others ducked behind whatever cover they could conjure or find, waiting for the inevitable explosion.
An explosion that never came.
"Annihilation protocol." They heard someone say.
Looking out, they saw Shadow Fox there, holding the Missile with some effort as it tried to dislodge from his hands. Then they saw the other Shadow Blade operatives drop down and rain fire and magic at the invaders whilst one ran over to Shadow Fox and plugged in a USB device into the missile.
"How is he holding that?" Kirihara asked.
"Body enhancement magic…probably." Mari guessed.
"Close, but not quite." Hinata said. "The concept is very simple, but difficult to achieve without extensive practice and training. He's simply manipulating the Mana within him to strengthen his body." She sighed when reality finally sunk in. "It's something that is taught to most magicians within Konoha in order to provide an edge in CQC."
"Why isn't it being taught to everyone?" Mayumi and the rest of the Student Council, minus Miyuki, asked.
"Because it is classified as Ancient Magic." Said exclusion answered. "The time it takes to learn to fully manipulate your Mana within your body takes years and it is fairly limited in it's usage. I can use it, but have nowhere near any semblance of mastery of it."
"Does Tatsuya…" Mayumi asked.
Miyuki nodded. "Remember that he's been taught by Kokonoe-sensei, it's what helped him greatly during his own fights."
Suddenly there was a shrill scream as the missile that Shadow Fox was holding powered down.
"Get this thing to HQ. Tell R&D to find out where it was made." He said, handing the now inert missile to the operative, before looking up. "5 seconds late, as always." He muttered as the evacuation helicopters arrived.
"This is Shadow Fox. My group and I will escort the students of 1st High to the nearest Green Zone." He spoke into his Radio.
"Negative, Shadow Fox." Came the response. "Mother Wolf has asked you to escort the group to Point Uzu for debriefing."
"That's unusual…" he answered.
"A few moments before you called in, the entire City has been placed on Lockdown. Only certified flying vehicles are permitted in the sky, and all Green Zones within 30 miles of your current AO have been changed to Orange as the JSDF is going anal about the possibility of hidden insurgents." The radio operator responded.
"Understood. Shadow Fox out." Shadow said before relaying the orders to the chopper pilots.
"Shadow Fox." He then turned to see Hinata drag Mayumi towards him. "Thanks for the help."
"Sorry it took so long." He answered. "Looked like you were about to be overwhelmed there."
"We nearly were." Mayumi answered. "If you hadn't stopped that missile, we'd probably be dead by now."
"I highly doubt that." Shadow Fox said, pointing towards Miyuki, who was hugging her brother. "Tatsuya and his team were just moments behind us and were the ones to take out the armour." he shook his head. "Either way, he would have prevented your deaths as well."
"Where is the Dobe?" Sasuke asked.
"Who?" Shadow Fox asked.
"He is speaking about Naruto-kun." Hinata said.
"Oh, Naruto. He's busy in a different AO last I heard of him." Shadow Fox answered.
"I will still receive a place in you ranks, if not your leadership seat." Sasuke growled.
"And you will be killed for trying." Shadow Fox snapped his pistol at him. "If you so desire to compensate for your lack of something, truly earn the respect of people and we may consider letting you enter the Red Spiral selection process."
Sasuke growled, but relented seeing that he was both outnumbered and outclassed.
That evening, Tsushima Base
Shadow Fox, Kushina and various members of Konoha PMC and the JSDF sat in a room being briefed by Kazama on an emergency that has arisen.
"The Great Asian Union was preparing an invasion fleet, which was expected to leave within the next 2 hours. Our own Navy has only begun mobilizing yesterday." He told them. "Therefore, our only options to engage the enemy fleet are either using Land-based or Air-based firepower. In light of current circumstances, we have been cleared to deploy a Strategic-Class Magician to eliminate the enemy invasion force before they leave the Harbour."
"To whom shall that duty fall?" Tatsuya asked.
"Commander Uzumaki of Red Spiral has already offered the use of their own Strategic-Class Magician, Shadow Fox, to take up this duty, using a never before seen Spell simply referred to by Red Spiral as 'The Rift'. Further details will need to be requested from Commander Uzumaki herself." Kazama answered.
Tatsuya and most of those present turned to Shadow Fox, who was busy typing away at a archaic hand held keyboard connected to a large container.
After a moment, an electronic voice said, "Key accepted. Access granted."
The Container opened to reveal what looked like a prayer staff, only with the loop being replaced with a circular disk.
"Shadow Fox, you may proceed when ready." Kushina said, her voice stoic. She knew exactly what was to come. "Coordinates and Topography are already uploaded into your HUD."
"Copy." Shadow answered. Grabbing the staff and walking to an area where he could see the ocean, he held the staff upright directly in front of him.
Almost immediately, the rings began glowing as lighting danced around them, steadily growing stronger.
Suddenly, the alarms started going off as sparks arched from the staff into Shadow Fox as well as around him.
"Unleashing Rift." He stated. Everyone else turned to look at the live feed, wondering what was going to happen.
With the invasion Fleet
"Weigh Anchor!" the GAU admiral ordered, ready and eager to destroy this little upstart island-nation that stopped them during their last invasion.
He and his men were of high spirits and moral, yet none of their instruments noticed the tiny black speck the size of a base ball appear 100 meters above them.
Not until it was far to late, AFTER the admirals hat flew of his head and got stuck on the ceiling.
Meanwhile, men were running around when they were suddenly lifted from the ground and accelerated upwards into a rift, one that grew to also suck in ships, then even the ground itself as concrete and stone tore apart as it was ripped from it's foundations.
5 Minutes. That was how long it took for a crater 50 miles wide and 5 miles deep to be created. Anything not fixed to the ground was devastated for another 20 miles beyond that. Animate matter, inanimate matter, nothing was spared.
Back in the Tsushima Base
"Rift, sealed." Shadow Fox said.
The room was silent.
"What was that?" Kyouko asked.
"That was the Rift. A deadly mix of Ancient Magic, 'Particle Disassembly Magic', 'Gravity Magic' and experimental 'Material Warp Magic'." Kushina answered. "It creates a pseudo–Black-Hole at the targeted location that disassembles anything larger than 5-Atom-sized Molecules and then transports that matter to a second location where it is dumped, in this case, Point Nemo. Unfortunately, the spell requires constant attention as even making a microscopic mistake could end up with the Black Hole consuming the entire world, not to mention the different energies surging through the caster whilst building up the necessary psions and pushions just to form the Black Hole in the first place and those required to close it afterwards."
"That has to hurt." Kakashi commented.
"Enough to have made Shadow Fox lose consciousness when he ended the spell." Kushina said, approaching the unmoving Shadow Fox.
2 weeks later
"…news about Shadow Fox, confirmed by Red Spiral PMC to be a Strategic-Class Magician, has been close to non-existent following what is being dubbed as Scorched Halloween…"
Kushina looked up to see her son in his School Uniform walking past her.
"Are you ready?" Kushina asked Naruto, who was busy doing up his tie.
"Yes. My last day in School…" he answered. "What's weird is that I was beginning to actually enjoy myself there."
"You could always remain there, you know. I'm sure that 'Shadow Fox' could make an exception for you." His mother said with an exaggerated sigh.
"Yeah, yeah. As if he doesn't have enough on 'his' plate already." Naruto answered, checking his schedule, which included a date with Hinata after school ended. "Oh, and I have a date with Hime later, so don't expect me to be home until late." With that he left the house, closing the door just in time to hear a "Wait…WHAT!?" from his mother.
'Maybe I'll change the form to me being in Boot camp until around Christmas…and then continue with School life a bit longer…' he thought as he met up with Hinata and the two of them walked to 1st high together. 'I still need to finish pranking people there who pissed me off…'

Thank you all for the reviews and support you have given me whilst writing this story. I had nearly given up on this chapter because this here is NOTHING like the original plan.
I won't explain what it would have been, only that the way the story went forced me to change Plan A…and B and C… this is something like Plan G or so.
Anyway, I had originally also intended not to write a season 2, however, the last 2 weeks I spent experimenting on how to make the story end, whilst retaining the possibility of a sequel.
