Mystery of the fae
Upon the snowy plains of the icy continent of Antarctica, within the facility within which some of the most advanced technological and magical technologies were being created. There was surprisingly a room that had been made for a young teenager. This teen had grown faster than was expected as she had been exposed to temporal magics that were involved with the ray shifting without the protections that others that used it had been given.
Luckily this brief exposure had not lasted long and had only meant that she would age a few years faster. This, considering her species, ment nothing in the long run as she had the extended life span that those from the fae do. They were not sure at first however, as those from such mixed parentage can have some undesirable results and it had taken the magic users of the facility a while to confirm that she had gained the positive sides of being of mixed race rather than the flip side in which she could have gotten all of the weaknesses and none of the strengths.
From what they had found her only weakness is the stress on her mind that is put on it by being of such descent. This was fortunate as she was already learning to use mental magics as a way to mitigate this. Thus it was that the girl who looked to be about fourteen was lying in a large bed, her platinum hair all that could be seen from the cocoon that had been rolled out of her ice blue quilts.
Lancer could only sigh as she knew that Morgan was not a morning person. It was one of the differences that had emerged between her and her first life. When the memories had been integrated the young girl had decided that she was going to enjoy her life, all of the small pleasures as her past had not done. So where her previous self had been an early riser and gotten to work immediately, she relished in the comfort. This was not to say she did not work hard. If anything she worked even harder to balance out her little indulgences.
So there was lancer to wake up her ward as the master had told them about the arrival. A few months ago the woman, Lily Evans, had arrived. She had been kept on limited duties to ensure that she was mentally sound due to her situation before she had been fully read into the secrets of the base. Once she was, it had been amusing according to Ritsuka. She had apparently been like a child in a candy shop with what she had wanted to ask, her eyes had actual sparkles in them.
Hearing the morning yawn and seeing the lithe buut well developed form of her charge stretching out like a cat as she stretched, working her muscles and slowly pulling and crawling her way out of her small comfortable cave created from the warm quilts on her bed. Lancer watched with a small quirk of a smile as the young girl rubbed her eye as she plodded her way towards the chair in her nightwear to start her morning ministrations not even realising that she was not alone in the room.
Sitting down before her mirror and with another stretch and yawn before she was about to start her morning routine when the lancer quietly coughed causing the girl to freeze in mid motion. And slowly turned her head to look in her direction like a deer caught in headlights. Resisting the sudden urge to chuckle she began.
"Now that you are awake" , Artoria began, causing the teen to blush brightly, "we have a meeting with someone before your classes. This comes from the director so it is important." this got a nod and a sigh. "I understand, I shall be ready shortly." was the girl's response, her standard for when she was annoyed with something.

The training rooms were a piece of advanced technology in which hard light holographic environments could be created. It also allowed for the creation of enemies of varying types to be created as long as there was enough information about them.
It was within this room that most of her classes were held as it allowed for history of battles or a night sky to be projected. The creation of a lab in which she could work or even just a plain exercise room in which she could do a morning routine under the careful and scrutinising eyes of her mentors.
Despite the honour of living with such people that make it into legends Morgan could never forget that the type of personality it takes to have the drive to become one was not what you could ever call normal. This was seen most predominantly in her physical education teacher, Queen scathach, the woman was a monster in the fields in which she was proficient, of which there were very few in which she was not due to her horrifically long life. This however made her the best to help her wield her foci, Being in the shapes of spears, swords and other such weapons it had been decided very early to make sure that she was at least proficient with them rather than having them as overly stylized display pieces.
She had been in the room practising her magic for an hour, from her item creation to her combat magic. She had even been practising her mana drain spell which required what could only be described as a very delicate touch. Her next spell that she wanted to attempt was the water mirror, a spell that was dangerous not to cast but because of some of its utilities. The mirror allowed her to manifest a 'window anywhere where there was enough moisture to support it, the smaller the window the less mana and moisture required.
It was quite useful as a way of communicating over distances, this however was just the initial ability of the spell. If one had mastered it though they could use it as a portal between the locations. This was the difficult part as if the concentration or power was lacking it could be fatal for the one using the portal. This was why she had been hesitant to work on the spell as there were many other ways of quick transport, however there were no ways to block this one due to its unique nature as it was invented by her previous incarnation and never shared.
There she was preparing the spell when she stopped her senses detecting an unknown magical signature approaching the training room. It was however not alone. The director and Artoria were with it. She couldn't help but snort with amusement. Her guardian artoria had been the closest thing to a mother she has had for a few years yet due to the memories she had inherited it had been too awkward to regard her as such. That was not to say that she had been bad in looking after her, far from it. After getting over the fact that she was the reincarnation of her sister the woman had done remarcably well.
Morgan, when she thought of it, concluded that her personality when she got serious reminded the king of knights too much of her lost sister to be regarded as such. It was because of this that though they behaved in an almost sisterly manner when she was being childish, the second it was time to get down to business they stayed in a strict and professional manner with each other.
The doors slid open looking as if to be floating in thin air, revealing the corridor beyond. At the door stood three siluets two of which she recognized instantly from the feel of their mana, the third felt distinctly different, it did however feel familiar and nostalgic however where from though she could not place.

The time had come. The time to meet her daughter! Lily had been working at Chaldea for a couple of months now, she knew that she was being tested. They had been having her undergoing medical, magical and mental tests to ensure her health due to her long time under a coma as well as the stress put on her magic from the attack.
Her work when she was not was at the moment in the research and development of magitech. Developing new and exciting technologies and equipment to aid and advance humanity. Before she had begun her work she had done a lot of reading on what had been developed already.
Medicines that could heal previously incurable illnesses. Treatments to fix ailments that could only be lessened before these were developed. Technologies to start cleaning up the atmosphere and begin the terraforming process on others. Many incredible advancements that had been created but had to either be used in secret or drip fed to the public through the organisations benefactors within the united nations to keep the balance and possibly unite humanity.
Now however the director had been given the green light and she was finally allowed to see the most important person here. So here lily was following Ritsuka into one of the many buildings that made up the base, at the directors side was one of the servants, one of the iterations of king arthur no less. That was something that had almost given Lily a heart attack.
She had known about the multiverse due to her non magical roots, she had kept up with her education on that side of the world it was one of the reasons why the unspeakables found her so invaluable. But to find out that there was an organisation that had been actively summoning heroes from multiple timelines, that had almost sent her straight back into her coma.
"So where are we going, director?" She asked having never been in this building, it was one of the ones that had a much higher security clearance and was usually kept for the heroes residences if what she had heard was correct.
"We are walking to a training room in the residential areas for the servants from the British areas." explained the girl with a strange smile on her face. One that seemed to hold a strange edge to it which provoked the king next to her to shake her head whilst sighing.
Raising her eyebrow at the interaction, Lily decided to leave it be and start watching people as they walked. Knights in various coloured armour, all of whom carried weapons that poured magic off of them. People in robes and dresses who carried staves and wands. Lily had no idea of any of their names but she could only guess that she was walking amongst some of the largest names from her home.
She did not even realise it when they arrived at what could only be described as a blast door, Ritsuka walked to the side where a control console was built into the wall and looked at the screen. Seeing the girl sigh she wondered what it was saying to cause that reaction.
The director then punched in her override and walked back and waited. The large metal bar that held the door locked swung back unlocking it before the doors themselves retracted revealing a faux environment, one perfect for training. Standing within was a girl about fifteen in a black and blue dress. In her hand was a spear of black with glowing blue runes. The girl had turned upon hearing the door and was staring at them allowing Lily to look upon her soft but aristocratic features. Her soft and pale skin, her pale blond hair tied back in a black ribbon. However her most striking feature was her heterochromatic eyes, one blue almost grey the other a deep emerald. A Familiar emerald.
It was then that the girl's soft melodic voice rang out, barely a whisper but everyone heard it. "mother?"
