It was the middle of January and Felicity had just finished school for the day. It was cold and wet, the raindrops landed on her hair as she walked home from school. Mia had to stay after school, Felicity was on her own and didn't bring an umbrella with her to school.

"I hate the rain" Felicity sighed as she walked past a man selling newspapers. It was then that Felicity realised that she was near an underground station. Maybe she could get on the train instead of walking home.

She took a paper form the man and smiled at him before entering Stepney Green Station. It was a good thing that her dad always checked that she had money on her travel card.

Once she was on the District Line Train, Felicity decided to pass the time by looking at the newspaper. The first page wasn't anything interesting, just normal news. As she flicked through the paper something caught her eye.

Troublemakers or Heros?

After the strange disappearance of new author Autumn Bate's book titled:

Magic and Mysterious: The Heroes of Paris and London.

People are asking questions about the real intentions of Wolfette and Tawny Owl. Are they working with the mysterious Firefly?

They claim to be superheroes but how did they get their powers. How can no one figure out who they are? Is it magic? Why haven't the goverment done anything about them?

Felicity knew that people would have their own opinions but did they need to post it on the second page of the paper that people all over the city read.

When Felicity got home from school, she went to her room, her brother Teddy followed her.

"Are you ok?" Felicity asked as she took her blazer off and put it on the back of her chair. Her Kwami flew out from the pocket that he was hiding in.

"You're all wet," Teddy said.

"I got caught in the rain," Felicity said. She told Teddy to wait outside her room while she got changed.

"Remind me why you still have that paper with you?" Rikki asked.

"Let's just say that some people in the media, don't like Tawny Owl and me," Felicity replied. "I think that Autumn knows something about this otherwise, she wouldn't have warned us."

"Who's Autumn?" Teddy asked.

"She's someone that I met back in Paris two years ago. She's an author that wanted to sell a book about the magic and mysterious she found in Paris but when she posted a teaser a few weeks ago, let's just say that it gave away to much information," Felicity said.

"Oh, Is she bad?" Teddy asked.

"Not really, I think she helped us a bit," Felicity replied as she turned around and saw someone that she hadn't seen in a while. It was the Robin, Kwami Flynn.

"Flynn?" Felicity asked.

"Felicity, Mr Lu would like to speak to you," Flynn said.

"Does it have to be right now?" Felicity asked.

"It's important," Flynn said.

"Who's that Felicity?" Teddy asked as he looked up from where he sat at Felicity's desk. Flynn was about to say something but Felicity spoke first.

"It's ok, my brother knows," Felicity said. "This is Flynn, he's a Kwami like Rikki."

"You told him, you know that's against the rules," Flynn said.

"I never told him. Teddy is smart for his age. He put the pieces together himself. I know he won't tell anybody" Felicity said. "Also, please tell Mr Lu that I will be there as soon as possible."

"I will," Flynn said as he flew through the window.

"Well, we better go and see what Mr Lu wants to talk about," Felicity said as she grabbed her bag and let Rikki fly into it.

"Are you coming, Teddy?" Felicity asked. "Mum's probably looking for you."

Teddy followed Felicity downstairs.

"Are you going somewhere, Felicity?" Her Mum asked.

"Felicity's going to see her friend," Teddy said.

"Teddy's right. Sinead picked up my textbook by mistake she only lives around the corner," Felicity said.

"I can drive you if you like. The weathers still bad outside," Her Mum said.

"It's ok, thank you for the offer" Felicity replied as she made her way towards the front door before her Mum could ask any more questions.

Ben had just finished reading an online article. Ben often read the news but it was only recently that he started taking interest in it. Most of the news was about US politics but there were some articles about Wolfette and Tawny Owl. He didn't understand why people thought they are working with Firefly. It wasn't right. They had saved so many people from his control in the past year.

"What you looking at?" Oona asked her holder.

"Just reading the news" Ben replied, "They are still saying bad things about us, they want to get the government involved now. I think the government are aware of what's going on but they probably realise that they don't have the power to deal with Firefly."

"There will always be people that don't understand or refuse to accept things they don't know about," Oona said. "I've been around for a long time and have seen my fair share of judgement with the activity of Miraculous holders."

"Then why hasn't anyone heard about them?" Ben asked. He was interested now and wanted to know more.

"Well, what you call technology has a big role in today's world. The news that you read can be seen all over the world. Also, some people accused Miraculous Holders of being magical. Some of them lost their lives because of it," Oona replied.

"We're not tho. You give me my powers," Ben said.

"That's true but not everyone knows about Kwamis. It's mostly the miraculous holders that know," Oona said.

"I understand" Ben replied.

Felicity arrived at Mr Lu's. She knocked on the door and he let her in.

"Please, have a seat. I will make some tea" Mr Lu said as he left the room and went to make some tea. A few minutes later he returned with two cups of tea. He also had a packet of rich tea biscuits.

"Would you like a biscuit?" Mr Lu asked.

"No, thank you," Felicity said. "Flynn said that you wanted to see me."

Flynn waved at Felicity from where he sat on the side. Rikki sat with him.

"Ah, yes. Have you seen the news lately?" Mr Lu asked.

"Yes, I have and I think I know what this is about, the article and Autumn Bates book," Felicity said. "Tawny Owl and I have already spoken to Autumn and she's agreed to stop the book being published"

"Mostly. Did you read all the article?" Mr Lu asked.

"Not all of it." Felicity replied, "Did I miss something important?"

"There's going to be a press conference next week. The Prime Minister wants to know exactly what's going on with Firefly." Mr Lu said. "The Prime Minister has invited the person that wrote the article and some of his followers to the meeting."

"The Prime Minister probably wants to ensure that the city is safe or talk about security measures," Felicity said.

"You're probably right about that but there's will probably be a lot of mixed emotions around the event. It would be the perfect time for Firefly to cause trouble," Mr Lu said. "I've already spoken to Tawny Owl about this."

"That's good. It's nice to know that we don't have to hide this from each other. Last time Ladybug wasn't allowed to tell her partner," Felicity said.

"As you probably know by now, my ancestors and I do things a little bit differently. Only the very first guardian of this Miraculous box was trained and raised by the order. The other knowledge has been passed down through the generations," Mr Lu said.

"You mentioned something about one of them making a mistake, is that what happened to the Firefly Miraculous?" Felicity asked.

"That's a story for another time. It's late, you don't want your parents to worry about you," Mr Lu replied.

Felicity looked at the time and saw that Mr Lu was right. Felicity got up from the table, smiled at Mr Lu and left the apartment.

Note:

I've decided not to give the Prime Minister a name as they only appear in one chapter. A

Firefly will be back in the next chapter causing trouble for Felicity and Ben.
