I'd like to call these first three chapters the pilot of the story.

The landlord tossed the man out onto the curb, as all of his furniture was already outside. "Hey! What gives?!" The man complained.

"Sorry sir, but we have new occupants who are much more in need of the apartment. All decisions have been final." The landlord responded in a deadpan voice, as a moving truck approached. "There's your truck, now farewell."

The man gave the landlord a baffled look. "What up with the bucket?" he asked.

Of course, a Chum Bucket helmet was covering the landlord's head. "It's um, what the humans call, a fashion trend." he responded, as he slammed the door.

Of course, the Chum Bucket helmet was from Plankton, as Kilgore was doing the speaking. Crocker peeked behind the door as he saw the man, while looking pretty upset, begin moving things onto the truck. "Huh. I probably would've asked more questions."

"That's a good sign! It looks like we're going to slip past all these bottom feeders!" Plankton said.

"Why didn't you just keep that dudes' stuff?" Ember asked, looking annoyed at the empty apartment. "We got nothing in here! No couch, not even a tv!"

"That's not important right now…um…"

"Ember?" She responded to Crocker.

"EMBER! Wait, last name?"

Ember sighed. "McClain."

"MCCLAIN! My apologies, I have a bad habit of only addressing by last names." He apologized. "Anyways, that's not important! We shouldn't be worried about the furniture. We'll eventually bring all our own!" He then gave the room a critical look. "Though, this place could still use a makeover."

"Who cares about that?!" Plankton shrieked. "We found our lair, now let's continue our villain search, and I think I know where to look! Karen, take us to the most villain-infested crime-ridden wasteland outside of this puny universe!"

"That sounds like a risky move." Karen responded. "It sounds like you're setting yourself up for disaster."

"Do you have to add comments for every decision I make?!" Plankton shouted. "Now I order you to take us there…please?" Karen, looking annoyed with the eyes on her screen, grabbed the remote again, and scanned for a world again.
"By the way, we can only choose one villain!" Crocker said.

"Why?" Plankton asked.

"We have an apartment! We gotta worry about the budget!" Crocker responded, as they all looked through the portal.

It was nighttime in Miracle City, the spicy cesspool for crime and villainy. However, furiously walking the streets was Zoe Aves, secretly the supervillain Black Cuervo. At the moment, she was angrily grumbling to herself. "Stupid mom and grandma!" She complained. "They don't think I can handle myself huh?!" She then had her attention at a portal, opening up in front of her eyes. She then saw the five villains enter through it.

"And this time guys , we're not leaving until we find the most ruthless villain there is!" Plankton said, as he then noticed the damaged pile of cars.

"Geez, those fools don't know how to park!" Crocker insulted. "Are we in Nevada?"

"No, I did that." Zoe answered, as the villains turned to her.

Crocker jumped back in fear. "GAH! A goth!"

"Anyways, what's this about you looking for a villain?" Zoe asked.

"Why does it matter to you?" Plankton asked.

"Because, I just so happen to know where you might find a villain." Zoe said.

"Really?" Plankton happily said. "Where is he?"

"You're looking at her." Zoe responded, as Plankton's smile faded, as Crocker looking around the place.

"Is this villain invisible?" Crocker asked.

"It's her you idiot!" Ember barked.

Plankton gave Zoe a deadpan look. "Seriously? What's your superpower? Complaining about your parents?"

Zoe seethed in anger for a moment before putting on an evil smile. "You want to see what I can do?"

"No thank you!" Plankton answered. "Because we're…" Zoe then flew into the air, blew up several buildings, piled on several vehicles and a plane, and then took an old lady's walker. Everyone's jaw dropped at this, while Kilgore was in tears.
"Okay you're in." Plankton said. "Welcome to the team, um…"

"Zoe Aves is what this town thinks I am, but really, I'm also the super villain Black Cuervo. VENDETTA!"

Crocker frowned. "Hmm. Can't say I'm a fan of working with delinquents."

Ember raised an eyebrow at Crocker. "What are you, a teacher?"

"YES!"

Zoe approached Ember. "You look way too cool to be teaming with those guys. Why're you working with them?"

Ember folded her arms. "I could ask you the same thing."

"Bah!" Zoe spat. "I'm sick of working with my familia. They're two generations of rejected failures. I'll take anything over working with them right now!"

...

After returning to the apartment, Zoe looked around in shock. "Oh geez, you guys live here?!"

"It's our lair, and we haven't settled in yet!" Plankton answered. "But we will even.."

Zoe turned on her jet, as she blasted through the window.

"Was that necessary?!" Crocker shouted through the broken window.

Several seconds later, Zoe blasted a hole through the roof, as a couch, a futon, a flat screen and several pieces of furniture popped landing on Crocker. "You're welcome!" Zoe smirked.

"Great! You not only damaged our lair which will cost us, but you also-wait you did that in just that short amount of time?" Plankton realized. "That was excellent!"

"And you were about to pass on this one." Ember said. "You're pretty good, kid, for a mortal."

"But don't do it again!" Plankton said.

"What do you mean don't do it again?" Zoe asked.

"I'm saying don't steal!" Plankton answered.

"Whoa, you told me you guy were villains! Why are you snapping at me for stealing?" Zoe asked.

"Because we can't be committing crimes in this world!" Plankton said.

"Why not? I get away with it everyday back in my world." Zoe said.

"Yes but this isn't your world, you boob! We chose here to stay hidden from everyone! Let's just hope these idiots are stupid enough to not find out about you!" Plankton sighed. "Before we repair anything, let's go villain hunting before we sink any lower in the deep end."

"Oh no!" Crocker said, getting up from the pile. "This time, I'm choosing the villain! As the leader of this Syndicate, NO EXCEPTIONS! You, computer! I want you to scan for a universe with a great evil mastermind we can find."

"That is a very subjective request." Karen said. "Seems implausible."

"Well none of us know any geniuses!" Crocker said. However, at that moment, Plankton thought back to the Globulous attack.

"Wait." Plankton said. "I know a guy."

"Plankton, get over that fiend Technus!" Crocker shouted.

"Not him! I knew someone else during that whole Glob thing!" Plankton said.

...

Underneath a mysterious looking house, or what it actually was, a base, was it's inhabitant, Invader Zim. He was inside his lab, looking at a test tube with something inside it.

"Excellent, I have created a hybrid, composed of both an Earthling and a hamster!" Zim cheered. Suddenly, his smile faded as he continued to work at the tube. "And now…I have no idea what to do with it! In fact, I don't even want to look at it anymore!" Zim pressed a button, which sucked the hamster man and the liquid inside it up in the air. Both were shot into the air, soaring through the sky like a cannonball.

Suddenly, on one of his computers, flashed a notification of the three villains in front of his house. It was only Crocker, Plankton and Zoe this time, as Ember and Karen decided to stay in the lair, while Plankton ordered Kilgore to stay, in order to avoid hearing him.

"PIZZAS HERE!" GIR, Zim's robo assistant SIR Unit, happily shouted.

"Who is it this time?" Zim growled.

"So where is this genius?" Crocker asked. "In there?" He pointed to Zim's base in front of them.

"I don't know, it looks different than the rest, so clearly that's not it!" Plankton responded.

"Is that a bathroom door?" Zoe asked, looking at the front door.

"You better be right about this alien!" Crocker said.

"He seems alright, besides the teaming up with the heroes and fighting with a plunger parts!" Plankton said.

"Gah! A foolish salesman! Hopefully, if I don't intervene he'll leave me alone and not sell me his poison Earth products or foolish superstitions!" Zim remarked, watching them.

"Yawn, I ain't waiting." Zoe changed into Black Cuervo, and blew up the front door. This completely started Zim. "WHAT THE?!" He shouted.

"We could've just knocked, you know!" Plankton remarked, as Black Cuervo then flew inside the base.

"NO!" Zim screamed, looking away from the screen. "That Earthling made it into my base! Well we'll see who's the victorious one! When it's all chopped and blown to pieces of MEAT! And after it's preyed upon by Earth predators, it will forever regret the day they've intruded UPON ZIM!" Zim began to laugh.

"Are you done talking to yourself?" Black Cuervo asked.

"GAH!" Zim shrieked. "WHA?! How did you get down here?!"

"Your voice echoed." Black Cuervo responded. "Also, I know a thing or two about bases, sweetie." She then grabbed Zim.

Crocker and Plankton were now inside the house.

"This is one crazy looking house! Reminds me of that funhouse I got trapped in when I was a child!" Crocker said to himself. He then stared off into nothing. "That was one of many traumatising moments from my childhood."

"Do you always have to say such useless things?" Plankton insulted.

"AAAHH!" At the moment, Black Cuervo threw a screaming Zim outside of a room, as he landed with a thud. GIR followed him in there, and fell on the floor, pointless imitating his master.

He then looked at Crocker, who was staring at him. "I've got a skin condition?" Zim attempted to lie.

"No need for your lies, Zim." Plankton said. "We know you exist."

"I recognize you." Zim said. "You're that Plankton fool! That sea creature from the Globulous attack!"

"Seriously, why don't I know anything about this attack?!" Crocker complained.

"Wait a minute, now that I remember it! You teamed up with Dib!" Zim said. "Are you and this fool who looks like Dib working with him?!"

"No, because I don't remember or care about him." Plankton answered. "Now look, we got an offer for you!"

Zim grunted, as his PAK formed its metal legs, bringing him off the ground. "I refuse your offers! Now, all three of you will pay for intruding my base!"

"But we want you to join with us!" Crocker said.

"Wha?! Me?! Working with you fools?!" Zim said. "You're over your head!"

"We don't even care about exposing you!" Plankton added.

"I mean I don't even care about aliens, not as much as…FAIRIES, at least!" Crocker said.

"You want me to knock him out now?" Black Cuervo asked.

"No, we got this!" Crocker said.

"Doesn't look like it." Black Cuervo responded.

"Seriously, we can assist you!" Crocker said. "Plankton told me everything about you, and I believe you could do well with us! We can help you conquer your planet!"

"I said no! Besides, if anybody is conquering this Earth, it is ZIM!" Zim shouted.

"And if you work for us, we'll help you get it! Trust us, we don't want it!" Plankton said. "Besides, if you work for us, we'll help you get as many Earths and planets as you want!"

"As many planets as I want?" Zim said. "That surely sounds like it would please my Tallest!" Zim the out away his PAK legs. "Hmm…you two seem nothing like planet conquerers though!"

"Trust us! We can own planets!" Plankton said. "You can even take all the credit!"

"WHAT?! Take the credit are you…" Plankton angrily glared at Crocker. "I mean, sure you can!"

Zim was very confused by this. "You Earthlings are actually serious about this?" He then started thinking to himself. "What am I thinking," he thought. "These Earthlings are too dumb and stupid to be as powerful as invaders! Yet, they made it inside my base! No Earthling outside of Dib has accomplished that! In fact, we do share common interests, and they don't want the Earth. They're even willing to have me take all the credit. Maybe I'm underestimating these Earthlings. And yet, they're offering me to be somewhat their slave. Unless I work my way to power with them. And then, I could waste them after I seize my power! It will be PERFECT!"

Zim then groaned. "Alright, I'll join your little band of fools!"

"Excellent!" Crocker cheered.

"But you Earthlings better live up to this deal of yours!" Zim threatened. "Or else I will waste you fools!"

"You wish, Greeny!" Zoe threatened, as the villains began heading out of the house.

"Wait, I must put on my Earth disguise!" Zim said. He pulled out his wig and fake eyes, and put it on his head. "Finished."

Crocker and Plankton were confused by this, as Zoe began to chuckle.

"Is that really your best disguise?" Crocker asked. "A baby could see through that!"

"What? It's worked for as long as I've stayed on this filthy planet!" Zim said.

"I'm going to guess everyone's an idiot on this planet then." Plankton said.

"GIR! Watch for intruders!" Zim commanded.

"Okey dokey!" GIR obeyed, as he was on the couch. The four villains entered through a portal, and left the base.

...

The four villains entered the apartment, as all of the furniture was already set up. Ember and Karen were on the couch, as Kilgore was putting the finishing touches on the broken window.

Zim was confused the moment he walked inside. "What is this?" Zim asked. "Is this your lair?!"

"Well, it was fun while it lasted." Karen sighed.

"This is a DISGRACE!" Zim shouted. "Why is your lair THIS?!"

"We just moved in!" Crocker answered.

Kilgore then walked to Zim. "It is an honor to meet you, the one known as Zim!" Kilgore greeted, as he shook Zim's finger.

Zim, however, didn't know how to react to him. "Why is this children's plaything worshipping me?" Zim asked.

"Whatever, it looks like we got ourselves a team!" Plankton said, as in front of him and Crocker, the villains were on or near the couch.

"I don't know. This team was not what I expected!" Crocker said.

"What exactly did you expect?" Ember asked, annoyed.

"I presume middle aged, life lacking evil male geniuses." Karen said.

"What?! That's not what I meant!" Crocker said. "Or maybe it was. I MEAN, I meant we have room for one more villain."

"Eh, they probably won't leave that much of an impact." Plankton said.

"So, what are we gonna do now?" Black Cuervo asked.

"I…don't know." Plankton said. For him and Crocker, they felt like they were entering a new world of villainy.

Well, now the story has begun. Short chapter, but next one is where things pick up. We not only begin with the Syndicate's "first crime", but the introduction of a crucial character, and the only villain left on the poster.
