Ragnar and Fishlegs were observing the Marines and Government agents, especially Heather, who seemed rather content with staying with them.
"All right, CP9 should be here any second," said Corgi. "Let's go, Heather; you'll have to get on a train sooner or later." He then looked directly at two agents. "You heard me! Take the lady and get moving, you dimwits!"
"Yes, sir," they said and began escorting Heather to the station.
"A Government rep, a bunch of Marines and Heather," said Ragnar.
"So, how are we going to play this?" Fishlegs asked. "Do we just rush in there and grabbed Heather?"
Ragnar began thinking hard, especially about what Heather said about carrying a dark her heart. "It's clear that they're sporting her away, but those guys are chumps. If she wanted to run, she could take them out no problem."
"Then she's going with them willingly?" Fishlegs frowned. "But why would she do such a thing after running for them for 10 years?"
"Clearly, something has changed, but I have to assume she has a very good reason for doing this," said Ragnar. "Imagine a bit more concerned about this CP9 they mentioned."
"The name CP does indicate Cipher Pol, the Government intelligence agency, but there are only eight branches," Fishlegs frowned.
"That we know of. The Government has been around for 1000 years, the bound to have a few skeletons in the closet during that time. Perhaps Heather is the key to unlocking."
"Corgi, sir!" said a voice. "CP9 is here!"
Both Ragnar and Fishlegs looked up as they saw CP9 making their way down the street. Burl was carrying both Eret and Snotlout on his shoulders, who were complaining and yelling. The Marines and agents just stared at them, looking terrified.
"Oh man, that's Lael Robson, huh? He's got the eyes of a killer. Never thought I would see CP9 in person," said a Marine.
Ragnar and Fishlegs didn't recognise Eret, who had just been punched in the head and rendered unconscious by Slivernose. However, they were completely shocked to find that Snotlout had been captured.
"You don't know who you're messing with!" Snotlout yelled loudly. "I've got 8000 men hiding in the shadows just waiting to teach you losers a lesson! Yeah, they're going to pop out any minute now!"
Then he too was punched in the head and rendered unconscious.
"Snotlout too?" Ragnar's stared. "Why is he here?"
"Looks like he's been taken prisoner," said Fishlegs. "But who knew that other guy is?"
The Marines and Agents immediately stood to attention and saluted as CP9 walked by and approached Corgi.
"Excellent work as always, Sirs and Madame," he said, saluting, and then he approached Lael and placed a coat over his shoulders. "Here, Mr Robson, your coat."
"What is this a parade?" said Lael. "Stop it. It's foolish."
"Uh, right," said Corgi, taken aback. "Sorry, sir."
"This isn't over until we reach Enies Lobby, so look sharp, and everyone board the Sea Train immediately!" Lael ordered.
"You heard the man," said Corgi. "Get on the train and make it quick!"
Eret then regained consciousness. "Hey, you bastards going to put me down or—"
Silvernose knows then punched him unconscious once again, and everyone began making their way inside the station.
"I'm guessing the guys in the suits CP9," said Ragnar.
"Everyone was certainly making a big deal about them," said Fishelgs. "I don't know who they are, but they look like trouble to me."
Ragnar sighed. "And now Snotlout has gotten himself captured. He tells us all that he sorry for causing so much trouble and ends up getting into trouble all over again."
"So, are we going to rescue him or not?" Fishlegs asked.
Meanwhile, at the Galley Law main office, the shipwrights had finally managed to douse the flames, though the building was nothing more than trouble now.
"A little further to the right! Spray over there!"
"Bring the hose this way!"
"We've almost got it!"
"I think we're good over here for now. Go and see if you can help out with the injured."
"Right, I'm on it."
"Is there anyone left inside?"
"Hey, watch your step over there."
Chopper had finally regained consciousness and was in his hybrid form the listening, and Astrid explained everything Iceberg had shared with him and the twins.
"So you mean Heather doesn't hate us after all," Chopper beamed.
"That's exactly right, and she was willing to hand himself over to the World Government to keep us safe," Astrid nodded.
"And she thought we would just accept it?" Ruffnut stared.
"Man, she has to be crazier than us to think that," said Tuffnut.
The shipwrights surrounding them were rather startled when Chopper transformed.
"Huh, how did he get so small?"
"He is no ordinary reindeer."
"Did he just transform or what?"
"Regardless, we have to find the rest of the crew white away so that we can go rescue Heather," said Astrid.
"Okay, let's go," said Chopper and looked around, noticing they were missing a couple of people. "But where are they?"
"I don't know; that's why we have to find."
Chopper then transformed into his human form, much to the shock of the shipwrights. "Yeah, let's do this!"
"Whoa, now he's big!"
Iceberg then approached them, petting Rex, who was resting his pocket on the head. "Wait, you four. I don't care if you go after Heather Owson, but before you run off, you should know that the Sea Train for Government personnel is departing at 11 o'clock tonight. This is just my guess, but there is a good chance that you'll find CP9 there, and that means Heather Owson will be there as well."
Their eyes immediately widened in shock.
"Thanks to Aqua Laguna, they're stopping all services after this final departure," he continued. In other words, you will be able to chase them on another train."
Astrid looked at him. "Wait, you mean that we have to—"
Iceberg nodded. "Since you obviously can't sail in this weather, you won't be able to leave the island unless you go after that train right now."
"No way; what time is it?" Astrid panicked.
Iceberg pulled out his pocket watch. "Almost 10:30."
"What? That means we only have half an hour left!"
"Hey, you're the mayor, right? Can't you do something to stop the train?" Ruffnut asked.
"Unfortunately, it's bound for Enies Lobby which is only accessible to Government personnel; even the engine driver works for the Government," he said regretfully. "So I've got no say in this matter."
"I guess our only choices ahead to the station and tried to talk some sense into Heather," said Astrid and then looked to be others. "Guys, I'll tell you which direction that Hiccup and Toothless flew in so that you can search there, okay? If you find them tell them to go to the train station as quickly as they can."
"Okay," Chopper nodded.
"You just leave it to us," said Tuffnut.
"You go and try and make Heather see sense," said Ruffnut.
Palmer had heard everything and then sat up. "Hey, listen up!"
The shipwrights were relieved to see that he had regained consciousness.
"Hey, guys! Palmer is okay!"
"You see that girl over there," he said, pointing at Astrid. "I want you to help her find her buddies."
The shipwrights stared at him as if he was crazy.
"You sure that smoking get into your brain Palmer? These are the guys who try to kill Mr Iceberg! We shouldn't run their no good necks!"
"Besides, why should we waste our time helping some criminals when Lael and Slivernose are still missing?"
"The Dragon Riders ain't the ones who did it, okay!" Palmer yelled. "The real criminals set them up. If we had been so damn blind, we would be in this situation right now. I don't know the real identity of those guys in the masks, but I do know the Dragon Riders try to protect us from them. As a matter of fact, Iceberg and I wouldn't even be alive right now if it wasn't for their help."
The shipwrights looked at one another, unsure what to make of all this; there is no doubt that if it weren't for the twins and Chopper, Iceberg and Palmer would have been burnt alive.
"Don't bother looking for Lael and Silvernose; there's no point," said Palmer as he rose to his feet. "In fact, I don't know whether we'll ever be seeing them again."
"What? If you know what happened to the foremen, then you've got to tell us, Palmer."
"They went back home," he said, turning his back on them.
"Huh? Why would they do that in a time like this?"
"Just shut up and go find Dragon!" Palmer ordered and then turned his eyes to Astrid. "Hey, immoral girl."
"What?" Astrid glared. "You're still calling me that?"
"And what about me?" Ruffnut asked.
"He thinks your guy," said Tuffnut earning him a punch from his sister.
"If you're going to the station, I'll show you the way," Palmer continued.
"Thanks, I guess," Astrid blinked.
The shipwrights were still very confused; one moment, they had been hunting down the Dragon Riders, and now they were helping. Plus, the stuff you mentioned about the other foremen was a little far-fetched.
"Hey, hold on a sec Palmer."
"Is that stuff true?"
Palmer lit a cigar and glared at them. "Quit your yammering and help them out already! You're making Galley Law look bad!"
"Yes! Sorry, sir!" said the shipwrights saluting.
"We'll do our best!"
"You're the boss!
"Yeah, we'll help anyway we can!"
"Open the cage! Bring out the bulls!"
Astrid and the others looked at one another and smiled; things were slowly turning their way.
Iceberg then approached Palmer and raised an eyebrow. "Went back home, did they?"
"I spared them the details; it's better that way," he said, not looking at him in the eye. "It was bad enough when we found out. They deserve the truth, but I don't hurt those guys."
In no time, Astrid and the others were riding on bulls with Galley Law on their tails. With this many people looking for Hiccup and Toothless, they were bound to find.
"Guys, it's all up to you now," said Astrid as she and Palmer broke off the head to the station.
"Right! We'll find Hiccup and Toothless!" Chopper yelled.
"You can count on us!" said the twins.
The storm was getting worse. The water pouring out of the fountain in the middle of the city was now shooting in different directions. Chopper and the twins began looking all over in the area where Astrid saw Hiccup and Toothless had been sent.
Of course, it was still a very large area, and they had no idea whether they were conscious not, but with the shipwrights now assisting them, they could now cover a much larger area.
"Hiccup, where are you?" Ruffnut yelled.
"Come out, where you are, Toothless!" Tuffnut yelled.
"Where are you?" Chopper yelled and then looked at the shipwrights. "Now say it with us!"
"Right, buddy! You got it, let's do it, guys!" said a shipwright.
The shipwrights then all cheered and began yelling their names as loudly as they could.
At the same time, Astrid and Palmer were making their way to the train station as quickly as they could.
"Take that canal over on the left-hand side; it is a shortcut to the station!" Palmer pointed.
Astrid nodded and guided her bull to where he was pointing. Astrid had to admit it wasn't for Palmer giving direction. She would have been lost; the entire city was like a giant maze. She then pulled out Iceberg pocket watch, which he gave her to check the time.
'We still have 20 minutes before the train leaves, she said. 'Don't go, Heather; you don't have to sacrifice yourself. We can save you.'
She then turned her bull. "Do you think you can go a little bit faster, please?"
The bull cried out and then began picking up speed.
At the train station, the Marines and Government agents were beginning to board the train.
"The 11 o'clock train is about to depart," said the announcer. "All passengers going to Blue Station to Enies Lobby, please board immediately."
Heather just sat next to the window in utter silence.
The agents had tossed Snotlout and Eret into the back of the train, and they weren't exactly careful, causing them to hit their heads on some crates.
"Hey, watch it!" Snotlout snapped.
"That hurt!" Eret growled.
"We don't want to hear another word out of you too," said an agent.
"Well, maybe I wouldn't complain so much if you weren't such a bunch of jerks!" Eret snapped.
"Yeah, you jerks!" Snotlout agreed.
"Why don't you come over here and fight!"
Snotlout then looked quickly looked at him. "I think you overdid it."
The agent just growled at them angrily as they began to approach them, cracking their knuckles.
Ragnar and Fishlegs were now standing outside the station' which was now completely Marine free.
"Due to the approaching storm surge, the departure time has been moved up, and the train will be departing shortly," said the announcer.
"Dammit," Ragnar cursed. "This was bad enough already."
Fishlegs looked at Ragnar. "You sure you really want to do this?"
"No, it would prefer if the rest of the crew were here, but we're out of time," said Ragnar. "You just stay here and tell them what happened."
He then ran towards the station.
"I repeat, the final train will be departing ahead of schedule! Please, board immediately," said the announcer.
The car doors on the train began to close, and CP9 began taking their seats near the front of the train.
"After all these years, our mission has finally come to an end," said Kala.
"We're not there yet," Lael pointed out. "Stop spouting nonsense and take your mission seriously, you fool."
"My apologies," said Kala.
Astrid and Palmer were close to the train station, but they were unaware that it would leave early than expected.
"Come on, we're so close," said Astrid.
Iceberg, meanwhile, was still at the ruins of Galley Law's immediate forts fell upon Eret. CP9 knew of his identity, so there was a big guarantee that they went after him, but he had no way of knowing whether they had captured him or not.
'Eret… where ever you are, I hope you're safe,' he said.
Meanwhile, the shipwrights were still searching for Hiccup and Toothless. They were searching through the streets and through the canals, but the search area was pretty wide.
"Hey, Hiccup!"
"Toothless!"
"Where are you?"
"Come on, there's not much time!"
"Hiccup!" Chopper yelled. "Please, those guys are going to take Heather away! We need your help! Where are you?"
Sadly Hiccup had somehow got wedged between two buildings and was unable to move.
"Got a get out of here," he said. "I need to rescue Heather from those guys."
Toothless wasn't in any better position, somehow he had landed in the chimney of the building, and his entire upper torso was wedged inside.
"Out of all the places to land, I had to land inside a chimney," he grumbled. "You had better hope that I don't get out of this because once I get out here, be nothing left of you."
"Hiccup! Toothless!" Chopper yelled.
"Where are you?" Ruffnut yelled.
"We need you!" Tuffnut yelled.
"Dragon!"
"Toothless!"
Chopper had hoped that they would have found them by now. "I don't get it; wherein the heck are they?"
"Have you checked over there yet?"
"Hey, Dragon!"
"Toothless!"
"I guess they're not here. Has anyone checked over at the back streets yet?"
"I don't hope we can; they're probably completely flooded by now. It will be too dangerous to go looking for them there."
"Come on, guys! Where are you? There is no time!"
That was not an exaggeration, as the Sea Train was about to leave earlier than expected. The train driver went to inform CP9 of this in their car.
"Excuse me, the waves are getting dangerously high, so we decided to depart early as a safety measure," he said. "If there's any trouble we—"
"It's fine," said Lael. "Just go."
"Yes, sir," said the engine-driver made his way back to the engine.
"We lived here for five years, but even as we leave, I don't feel nostalgic in the least," said Lael.
Astrid and Palmer were nearing the station when they heard the sound of steam whistleblowing.
"Hey, was a steam whistle just now?" Astrid asked.
"If it was, that means the train is running nearly 15 minutes ahead of schedule," said Palmer. "They're probably taking off early because the weather is getting bad. The Government runs that lying so they can leave whenever they want. Hurry up, guys; the station is right there!"
"Hold on, train, don't leave yet!" Astrid pleaded as the station came into view.
"Attention, tonight's final heading to Water 7 to Enies Lobby is now leaving the station," said the announcer.
Upon hearing that, the conductor blew his whistle.
"You heard her sit down already," said an agent in one of the cars.
"Have a safe trip," said the announcer.
Heather sat there as the train began to move, and she couldn't help but think about her time with the Dragon Riders. She can help but smile at the memories, they were not a bunch, but they were very good friends, better than she deserved. Travelling with them, she discovered that making their way to Berk could uncover the greatest mystery in history. Then, of course, they came face-to-face with Asmund, who almost killed it hand and for the actions of Hiccup and the others.
At the back of the train, Snotlout and Eret had painful headache courtesy of the Government agents.
"Hey, I think we're moving," Snotlout groaned.
"Stupid Government jerks," Eret muttered.
Ragnar just arrived at the station just as the train was leaving.
At almost the exact same time, Astrid and Palmer stopped in front of the train station.
"Good job," said Astrid jumping off her bull and rushing to the station as quickly as she could.
"Go down the stairs, through the meadow entrance!" Palmer pointed.
"Got it! We're coming for you, Heather; please don't go!"
Unfortunately, the moment she ran down the stairs, the train set off, and Ragnar began to approach it.
The conductors noticed him making his way towards the train and quickly rushed over to stop him.
"Hey, stop! Who are you?"
"That's dangerous! Stay back!"
"Heather, get off that train!" Astrid screamed. "I don't care who you're up against; we'll help you!"
However, by the time she reached the bottom of the stairs train had already left.
"Wait! No!" Astrid screamed as it left the station. "Come back! Heather!"
