Hiccup had just formed an alliance with the Eret Family and Galley Law, but Aqua Laguna was still headed their way.
"All right, boys, why don't you show me what you can do about that wave?" Coco suggested.
"You got it!" said Teeny. "Fire all cannons! Blow it to bits!"
"Yeah, cannons are my speciality!" Tilestone roared.
"It's just water! Don't be afraid, bros!" Teeny yelled at his men. "Prepare the cannons!"
"Roger!" they yelled.
Almost immediately, the Eret Family began grabbing cannons and bazookas and began forming a firing line.
At the same time, the transponder snail that Astrid was holding began to ring.
"Oh, the transponder snail is ringing," she said.
"It must be from Ragnar," said Fishlegs.
Meanwhile, the Puffing Tom the Marines were investigating the ruckus in the back cars only to discover that all the Government agents had been knocked out.
"What's going on in here?"
"Oh no, not here too. It was the same thing in the last car."
T-Bone was pacing up and down in the Marine car. His eyes immediately turned towards a Marine.
"Hey, you there," he said.
"Yes, Captain T-Bone!" said the Marine getting to his feet and saluted.
"How did you get that injury on your arm?" T-Bone asked.
The Marine was quite taken aback and looked at the bruise on his left arm. "This? I got bitten by a bug earlier, and it bled when I scratched it."
"How awful, we must staunch the bleeding," he said and ripped a piece of fabric from his cape. "We'll have to make do with this."
The Marine stared at him. "Sir, you don't have to tear your cape just for me."
"It may be your arm is bleeding, but when one of my men injured, it is my heart that hurts the most," he said as he walked away.
"Captain, thank you," said a Marine in tears as he bandaged his arm.
"Let us build today and every day for with good deeds so that peace and kindness shall reign," he said.
'His face is still really scary,' said everyone.
"Captain!" said a Marine rushing inside.
"I'll help!" said T-Bone instantly.
"Oh, good, but let me explain the problem first."
"If there is anything I can do, even if it kills me. I will protect you."
"Uh, thanks?" said the Marine, feeling rather awkward. "But the problem is with the officials' in cars six and seven, they were completely wiped out. Not only that, but the two criminals detained in car 6 are missing."
"That's awful!"
"We can't tell of the prisoners escape on their own or if they were helped by an unknown intruder."
"For Thor's sake, man, start a rescue operation! Help the injured and spread the word to the other cars!"
"Yes, sir!"
Ragnar the others were hiding out on the top of the cars, thinking it would be the last place the Marines would think to look for them. Of course, this still left them exposed to the elements, and they had a hold down to the car as tightly as possible.
"Astrid! Astrid, can you hear me?" Ragnar asked, speaking to the transponder snail.
"Yeah, what's going on, Ragnar?" Astrid asked.
"I've got some bad news; things have gotten complicated," he said, looking back at Snotlout and Eret.
The two of them were clinging onto the car and were making a lot of noise.
"What do you mean?" Astrid asked and heard Snotlout cries. "Wait for a second; what was that noise? Is someone there with you or something?"
Ragnar was losing his patience with them. "It's nothing, just some dumbass."
"Huh? Say what?" Eret then began screaming. "Ragnar, what is that noise? It sounds like a bunch of screaming. Are you okay over there? What you mean by dumbass?"
"Sorry, dumbasses actually," Ragnar corrected.
Meanwhile, on Rocketman, Tilestone and the Eret Family were firing their bazookas at the wave, hoping to punch a hole right through it.
"Demi-Cannon!" Tilestone roared and fired.
He fired a shot at the wave, but it had no effect.
"Leave it to us!" said the Eret Family and fired.
However, their attacks were just as effective as Tilestone's.
"We're not even making a dent," said Palmer, not looking too surprised. "I should have figured."
"You think those puny things are going to work?" said Teeny as he manned the cannons on top of their raft. "Everyone stand back, let the Eret Family Special Cannon do its stuff! Targets Aqua Laguna! Go, Super Scrap Cannon fire!"
They fired a cannon which fired a powerful shot at the wave, but all it did was cause a small ripple in the surface. Regardless they kept on firing in a desperate attempt to punch a hole through it.
"Keep firing! Don't let up!" Teeny ordered.
"Bring more cannonballs!" Palmer ordered.
"Got it!"
"Aim at the centre! Focus on one spot!"
"Focus-Pocus, give it all you got!" said Chimney.
"Yeah, good luck with that," Coco laughed. "By the way, the tracks do rise up a bit, but not enough to get us over that wave. Rocketman has done pretty well out here so far, but if we get hit, we're finished."
"Does that mean we're all going to die?" Chopper panicked.
"No guarantees, I warned you now, didn't I?" Coco laughed.
Chimney just stood there blankly, and then her eyes widened in horror. "I don't want to die!"
"I see," said Astrid as Ragnar explained the situation. "They still have Heather."
"Sounds like things are pretty lively on your end, too," said Ragnar as Chopper, Chimney, and Paws ran around panicking.
"Hey, listen, Ragnar, I need to tell you why Heather is doing all this and why everyone else is screening, for that matter," she said, starting to look frustrated and quickly looked at Chopper and the others. "Will you shut up!"
Instantly the three of them immediately stopped running around and stopped panicking.
Astrid then turned back to the transponder snail. "So, like I was just saying, we found out why Heather is with CP9. We're out here trying to follow her, but things are kind of crazy right now. It's a long story."
Galley Law and the Eret Family were not making much headway with the wave, and it was getting closer.
"We're all going to die!"
"I don't want to die!"
"Me neither!"
"If you have time to cry, keep firing!" Teeny ordered.
"We'll find a way out," Palmer vowed.
"Hey, Hiccup," said Toothless as he looked at the ceiling.
"I know what you're thinking," said Hiccup as he stretched his arms. "Let's show that wave who exactly to messing with."
With that, the two of them stepped outside and began to stretch, much to the confusion of Galley Law and the Eret Family.
"Keep those cannons firing," Toothless ordered.
"What are you guys planning on doing?" Palmer asked.
Hiccup then took on his hybrid form, and Toothless drew swords.
"Same thing as you," said Toothless as he placed Lightfury in his mouth. "Watch…"
"So you're really going to call it 216?" Hiccup asked.
"What's wrong with it?" Toothless asked.
"It just seems so long to me."
"Then I'll round up to 300."
Everyone was rather confused, not sure what the two of them were planning.
"I don't get it; what do they think they're doing?"
"If cannons don't work, what good are swords going to do?"
"Well, they did say we should keep fight though."
"Stop yapping and back them up!" Teeny ordered.
"Roger!" they yelled and kept on firing.
"Okay," said Hiccup as he transformed into his hybrid form. "Ready?"
"Huh-ha," Toothless nodded.
"Now, Plasma…" Hiccup yelled as he began to charge up a lot of plasma.
"Three Hundred Calibre…"
The wave was practically on top of them.
"We're going to die!" everyone panicked.
Hiccup and Toothless just stood there charging up their attacks.
"…Cannon!" they yelled, unleashing them.
Their attacks were so powerful that they punched a hole right through the wave, large enough for them to enter. To say that everyone was shocked would have been an understatement.
"Ragnar…" said Astrid before she was knocked off her feet as the train shook.
The train shock so much as it entered the opening that Hiccup and Toothless made everyone knocked to the floor.
"It's all nothing," said Coco as she drank.
Everyone outside it was like riding a rollercoaster; they were moving so fast that their skin was rippling due to wind slamming them in the face. It took them a full minute to emerge from the wave, and they were all still pretty amazed that they survived it.
"W-we made it!" they cried. "Take that Aqua Laguna!"
"I thought we were going to die!" said Teeny.
Everyone immediately began celebrating, knowing that the worst of the storm was now behind. Inside the train, everyone was rather shaken but still very much alive.
"Hey, hey, Astrid, are you okay?" Ragnar asked
"Yeah, I think so," he said, rubbing her head.
Coco laughed. "We survived after all, huh? You, pirates, know how to party; keep up the good work!"
"They're even stronger than Aqua Laguna! If we were enemies, I would be scared right now, but since we're friends, I'm happy."
"Go, Dragon!"
"We would all be dead right now is not for them," said Palmer. "Lucky that little trick worked."
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves everybody, we're not through the storm yet!" Coco reminded them.
"Yes, ma'am!"
"I'm not afraid of anything anymore!"
Hiccup then re-entered the car. "That was close."
"I knew you were strong, but that was something else," said Kaley.
"Are you an alien or something because I was totally out of this world?" Kalena asked.
"Hiccup, come here a sec," said Astrid and held at the transponder snail. "Ragnar wants to talk."
"That you, Hiccup?" Ragnar asked as he and the others were still sitting on top of the train.
"I'm here," said Hiccup. "Did you manage to save Heather?"
"No, sorry, I'm afraid I'm still working on that one," said Ragnar. "Astrid just told me why Heather surrendered and all of that stuff. So yeah, I know what's going on."
"I see," said Hiccup. "Anyway, you know what's next. Go ahead and give them hell Ragnar."
Everyone stared at him, shocked.
"Hold on," said Fishlegs. "He'll die if he fights them now. If he wants to stand a chance, he has to wait for the rest of us. Some of those guys are really tough."
"Fishlegs, if the roles were reversed, would you wait?" Hiccup asked. "If you were on that train right now instead of him and I told you that Heather sacrificed herself to protect us. Would you sit there and do nothing?
Fishlegs just stood there in silence, but he knew deep down that Hiccup was right. He would do something.
"There's no use trying to stop them; he would have gone ahead and done it even if I ordered him not to," said Hiccup.
Ragnar smiled. "Let me like a book. Anyway, that settles it. I was willing to fight for Heather even before I knew the truth, but now that you told me how she really feels, I wouldn't stop even if you begged me."
Then in frustration, he crushed the receiver in his hand, much to Eret anger.
"Why did you break it, you bastard!" he yelled. "I want to talk to Dragon, to damnit."
"Deal with it," said Ragnar. "There's no point griping at me now."
"What was I supposed to interact with while you were talking? That's just rude!"
"Your rude anyway."
Snotlout just sat there in silence throughout the entire conversation.
Hiccup and the others had lost the connection to Ragnar.
"I hope he's okay on his own," said Astrid looking concerned.
"Is any chance you can make the train go faster?" Hiccup asked, looking at Coco.
"Faster?" she said.
"Yeah, we need to catch up to them as soon as possible."
"Don't you worry, this baby is already going way faster than it was ever supposed to? In fact, we're going so fast, we can't even stop anymore."
Ragnar the others continued to sit there on the car.
"So much stuff has happened since I left; it almost doesn't seem real," said Snotlout.
"In a way, Heather's in the same boat you are," said Ragnar. "Never found out about what happened with the Tiger or your fight with Hiccup. It makes me ashamed to think it, but while we were busy fighting amongst ourselves, Heather surrendered to the Government so the nine of us could be safe. That includes you."
"Now I feel completely torn up," said Eret. "I always thought that Heather was some sort of evil monster, but it turns out she's got a soft side. To think that she would sacrifice herself for her crew, it gets you right here."
"Well, I'm not gonna stand here in the rain while Heather is so close; I've got to save her before it's too late," said Ragnar as he rose to his feet.
"If you're going out, I'm coming with," said Eret. "The two of us together will make a good team. I won't go into the details, but I've got a pretty good reason to keep him away from those Government chumps too." He then turned his head towards Snotlout. "So you coming, pal?"
"No," he said as he rose to his feet. "I-I'm not coming."
Ragnar and Eret stared at him, confused.
"This doesn't have anything to do with me anymore; you're about to make yourselves personal enemies of the World Government. I don't want to be in any part of that. Besides, Hiccup and the rest of the crew are coming, and I humiliated myself in front of them. I just can't pretend like nothing happened and laugh it off. I still feel bad for Heather, but I'm sorry it's not my job to save her anymore. I am not a part of Hiccup's crew!"
They then watched as he began walking away. "See ya."
"See ya?" Eret stared. "There's no place to go! Come on, you guys can talk this out, bro!"
"Forget it," said Ragnar as he turned his back on him. "Just leave him."
Eret shook his head. "You are both as stubborn as hell."
Meanwhile, the Marines were still trying to find the intruders, though with not much success.
"Fine, the intruder!"
"They've got to be here somewhere!"
"What? This is just terrible," said T-Bone as he examined the injured and continue to rip pieces of his coat. "We're going to have to make do with this."
The Marines also began informing the other cars of the situation.
"The train is in a lot of trouble right now," said a Marine as he made his way into car 4. "Wald, we need your help!
"Shut out, stupid!" Wald snapped. "Your face is in trouble!"
In the first car, Nero was fast asleep when a Marine began to wake him up.
"Nero, the criminals have made an escape!"
Meanwhile, the Marines were still chasing through the rear cars.
"How's it going over there? Have you noticed anything strange?"
"No, nothing yet, at least."
"Keep looking."
"Sir!"
The Marine then noticed that one of the windows was open, strange considering the typhoon was outside. He then lifted his head over the roof of the car and saw Ragnar and Eret standing there.
"They're right here!" he yelled.
"Damnit, they found us," Ragnar cursed.
"Iron Hammer!" a voice yelled.
Suddenly someone struck the Marine hard in the face, causing him to lose his grip and fell into the sea.
"Who the hell are you?" Ragnar and Eret asked.
"Your friend told me everything," he said. "I understand that you're here to rescue a certain Mademoiselle. That alone is reason enough for me to join your cause. My fists at your disposal… my name is the Masked Wrestler!"
The Masked Wrestler was, in fact, Snotlout wearing a red wrestlers mask with orange highlights, and around his shoulders, he wore a cape.
