The decision

I look around Erza's room which is filled with all the girls in Fairy Tail and I can't help but feel jealous at how everyone swarms Lisanna to ask her questions and ask how she is doing. I was reminded when I went to confront my dad after being apart for an entire year and the only thing, he had to say to me was how I was supposed to live my life. I found myself wondering if I disappeared like she did, would anyone miss me like this too? I shook my head to clear the negative emotions and forced myself to focus on getting to know my new friend.

She was so sweet, and she was a take over mage like her sister. She told me how she chose to be an animal take over mage and how she met Natsu, how they raised Happy together. Then, Erza decided we all should play a game.

"Lisanna, Truth or Dare!" Cana slurred as she reached for her fifth, or sixth bottle of beer.

Mira and Levy were giggling at something Juvia had said about Gray. I smiled at my friends loving the fact they were enjoying themselves. I turned to Lisanna to hear her response.

"Truth" Lisanna responds timidly.

Cana downed her beer and asked, "Are you still in love with Natsu?"

A record practically scratches, and everyone turns to look at her. I blinked and reminded myself that Natsu told me how he loved her and hated how she died and how he never got to say goodbye. He and I talked about it a bit before I got here, and he gushed about how happy he was to have her back. The jealousy that I felt made my head spin as I forced myself to listen to the conversation.

"Oh yes! You too always said you'd get married!" Erza teased. "You know he is hopeless. When are you going to ask him?"

My heart constricted painfully. I definitely hadn't known that. My feelings for Natsu were fairly new but I figured that maybe with time, I'd get brave enough to tell him. The way he protects me and looks after me, he has to feel the same. Right? Anticipation filled my bones as we all waited for her response.

Lisanna took a sip of her wine, blushed, and answered, "I never stopped." She continues, completely unaware that her words Pierce my heart like rusty daggers. "He was so protective when we were younger. Natsu always looked after me and Happy too after he was hatched. It was like Happy was our baby. I definitely want to pursue a more…" she stops and turns bright red.

"You wanna bone him and carry little Natsu babies!" Cana cackled.

Lisanna tensed as she shushed Cana. Erza and Wendy also turn bright red at Cana's statement. Mira sheepishly laughs and glances at me.

My heart is aching so much. I want him to be happy and it seems that they were happy until she died…But she didn't die, she is here now, I think to myself. I force down my hurt and look towards Lisanna.

"Why don't you be his partner? He told me he missed you like crazy." I offer. Everyone turns to look at me, shocked. "I haven't been on my own since I started Fairy Tail. Natsu feels that he needs to look after me since he is the one who brought me here." She smiled fondly and said, "That's just how he is." My resolve steeled as I wanted the best for my friend and my new friend. "Yeah. I feel like I can be on my own. I've been working with Leo on some new training techniques, and I want to put down more roots here in Magnolia so I can focus on more than jobs for a while."

Lisanna's eyes widened and brightened as she considered my words. Levy piped up, " shouldn't you ask Natsu about this?"

"Yeah, he is very protective of you Lucy. He might not be happy about this." Wendy added.

"I'm sure he will be elated." I smile at them. "He's protective of everyone." I say, a little unsure if the bitterness I felt in my heart at that statement reared its ugly head. Judging by the dreamy look on Lisanna's face, I don't think it did.

"You really wouldn't mind, Lucy?" She asked as I pushed myself to look into her eyes.

"Of course. I would love to see him happy, and he always said how he wished he spent more time with you so this will be perfect." I reassured her while hoping I wasn't portraying my heart breaking at my crappy luck with love.

A loud snore jumped me out of my head as I turned to look at Cana who was passed out cold.

"Alright everyone. That's our cue to turn in for the evening." Erza's stern voice belted out. We all laid down in our sleeping bags. Tomorrow, I will leave at first light, find a job and be happy that my friends found each other, I chant inside my head as I fall asleep.

The Promise

I have been avoiding Natsu for about two months now. He has been at my house a lot but I can't bear to hear how much happier he is without me so I haven't wanted to see him. I have been staying with Levy, But I have been getting stronger. I walked into the empty guild as I scanned the board for a job, I can do without Natsu. I know I am strong, but I am realistic to know, I am not physically strong like Natsu and the others.

"Lucy, You don't have to but…" Loke materialized from the celestial world. "…The king says you need to take this one." I plucked it from the board to see it better. It seemed that a scroll that has an ancient deity has been active and turning the tropical island into a desert. That doesn't seem to hard and the money would pay for my apartment for three months.

I glanced around the guild, trying to see how I can slip out of here and go on this job without Mira having to come.

"Good morning, Lucy. Where is Natsu?" Master greeted as I walked into his office.

"Can you approve this job for me? The celestial King wants me to take it so It doesn't seem to be anything exciting but since It was requested, I felt like I could take it." I explained hoping he wouldn't ask why I didn't want Natsu to come with me.

He stamped it for me and said, "Be careful, Lucy. People don't typically request celestial wizards since they don't become guild wizards often."

I blinked as I hadn't known that. I knew of Karen, Loke's old wizard and Angel from the dark guild. "Thanks Master." I went home, packed my bag, and headed off to the train station.

"Hello! Where are you headed little lady?" The train attendant asked as he looked at my boarding pass. "Caelum isn't a place for pretty girls like you."

I frowned as I said, "Not that it's any of your business but I need to go to the island off the coast of Caelum."

The attendant gasped in horror. "What business could you possibly have there?! All that is there are demons and devil worshipers! Hat island is known as the isle of the lost because only people who lose their paths of light go there. You best be careful." With that, he turned and walked away.

I looked at the job request as I waited for my boat to take me to the Isle of the Lost. "That's a bit on the nose, isn't it?" I muttered to myself as I Sorted through all the information I learned while on the train.

Because, people refuse to go to the island, the person who requested me said he would send a boat as long as I was on the harbor in Caelum. A hand on my shoulder scared the crap out of me as I spun, ready to fight the person who just touched me only to relax.

"Why are you so tense?" Leo asked as he put his hand up in surrender. "I didn't mean to scare you."

"I have a bad feeling about this job." I muttered as I looked at him for a moment. "How long can you stay here at your own power?"

"I was locked from the Celestial world for two years. I think I can manage a few days." He said as he looked at the request.

"You are my strongest spirit and I need you battle ready. I will summon Plue to keep me company, just be ready in case things go south." I say, hoping he would understand.

He looked at me for a moment before saying, "I have a better idea. What if I teach all the spirits contracted to you how to come here on their own power, and we switch so we all are ready for battle. The small dog is cute and all, but I don't think he can protect you if something happens."

I though about his offer as I shook his outreached hand, "Deal."

"Lucy of Fairy Tail?" A small balding man with a red shirt and blue pants walked up to me and looked me up and down as if to appraise me before looking at Leo and smiling widely.

"I'm Lucy and this is Leo, my lion spirit." I introduce as he the man turns and motions me to follow him.

As we board the boat, I notice the rest of the crew were women, so I felt myself relax substantially.

"We are headed to Angelus City." One of the women said as she looked at me for moment before handing me a pile of clothes. "Please put this on."

I looked at the pile of brown clothes as I looked at her, ready to ask why until another woman spoke. "Our people don't like outsiders, if you dress like us, they will be less likely to cause trouble."

I immediately understood so I turned to find the bathroom so I can change. The brown top was designed to cross my breast and tie at the base of my neck while the brown bottoms was a skirt that stopped above my knee. I swished back and forth a few times to check the mobility of the design and couldn't really fault it. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I felt I looked like a Viking warrior.

"Is it punishment time, Princess?" Virgo asked, materializing herself to stand before me.

I smiled at her, "Only if you want to be the one to do the punishment."

She laughed before patting me on the shoulder. "Big brother said you had a bad feeling about this job. We all discussed it and we want you to know we have your back, No matter what. If for any reason you need us and you can't access your keys, push your magic to the starry heavens and call a name. We will come, we promise." I hugged her as I expressed my gratitude.

"We are here, Miss Lucy." The voice of the balding man bellowed. I took a deep breath and walked out with Virgo on my heels, not missing the excited look on the man's face.

I walked off the boat and immediately could feel that this island was covered in pure celestial magic and smoldering heat. It was hard to breathe, it was so hot.

"This way, this way!" He muttered as he steered me away from people whispering to each other in another language. I jumped in surprise because they were speaking enochian, the language of the celestials. I glanced at Virgo who seemed just as surprised as I was. Suddenly, a voice bellowed in my head, in the ancient language, "Don't tell them you can speak the language."

I didn't know why but I felt this voice was trying to protect me, so I reached back to grab Virgo's and say to her in Earth land, "This place is really hot, huh?"

She knew what I was trying to da and replied in the same language, "Yes, it is. Would you like me to get you some water?"

I shook my head and bumped my shoulder with hers. The man looked at us inquisitively for a moment before turning to lead us to where the scroll was being held.

The small shrine and everything around it were melted. Not burned melted, the trees the shrine itself, everything.

"Don't come near me!" A familiar voice whispered in enochian. I took a deep breath to steel my nerves and dropped to my knees and bowed my head low. And in my head, I spoke in the language of the celestials. "Why are you tormenting these people? It's too hot. You are killing their home."

The voice responded, "They are trying to summon me by sacrificing celestial wizards. Do yourself a favor, say you don't speak the language and leave. Don't be stubborn like the others. The more magic I absorb, the more heat I let out. I cannot help it but they brough it upon themselves."

I lifted my head as I dodged a huge ax, intended to cut my head off. I looked around as saw the Virgo was no where to be seen. I shifted my weight to leg sweet the woman with the ax, grateful for my hell training with Erza on how to fight. I quickly stood up and ran to the other woman who was holding a club and used my momentum to throw her to the ground. A sharp pain in the back of the head cause everything around me to go dark.

The new friend (This gets gory so if that is not for you, skip it)

"Miss! Miss! Are you ok?" A small voice asked as I jumped up in panic. A girl about seven, maybe eight years younger than me was sitting and staring at me.

"Where are we? Who are you?" I reached for my keys but when I couldn't feel them, I looked around frantic in my search.

"They took them." The young girl cried as I gazed at her.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked in an attempt to calm myself and hope I don't scare her further.

"I am Yukino and from what I know, they want the sun god to walk the earth." Yukino explained while I sat in front of her.

"How long have you been here?" I asked in pity.

"I don't know but escape hasn't been an option. I have tried everything, but nothing seems to work." She said as the door to our cell swung open.

"Don't fight, just relax. This will be over soon. I promise." The woman walked in with two trays of food.

"What is this? What is going on? What do you need from us?" I asked as another woman brought a small girl into the cell with me and Yukino.

"We need to harvest your power. We have learned that one person at a time is not enough to summon Helios. We need more so you three are the last remaining celestial wizards. We need you." The black-haired women said as she sat in front of us, dismissing the woman with the tray.

"I am sorry, but we need to do this. Please, don't fight." She said as she pushed the tray in my hands. The food looked really good, but I didn't trust that it wasn't poisoned. "You will need your strength, Lucy, please eat."

She sighed in annoyance as she took a bite from both plates and handed them to me. "No one is going to kill you right now, please eat."

She rose to leave as I said while finally eating the food that was brought, "What is your name?"

"Scientia." She said as she closed the door in her departure. I turned to the other girl and recognized the green hair. This was Hisui Fiore, the princess of Fiore. This was bigger than I though was my last cognizant thought before falling asleep.

"girl, girl." A voice echoed in my head as I woke up and noticed I was strapped to a table. I sighed as I realized this situation was hopeless. What ever these people wanted, they were getting it. I opened my eyes and stared into the abyss of darkness right above my head. I felt the heat of the scroll beneath me but wondered how I wasn't hurting. The heat was sweltering but it felt like sitting in the sun for days on end. I turned my head and saw Hisui and Yukino still passed out but in the same predicament as me.

Scientia walked in holding a golden athame and lifted it toward the sky. A small light entered the knife as she stood at Hisui's head and slit her throat. The scream I omitted was loud enough to wake the dead.

"You'll come back I swear and when you do, you will bring my daughter back to life." She said as she did the same to Yukino.

"No! No! No! You are insane!" I yelled before feeling a sharp pinching pain across my throat, everything going dark once more….

But it didn't stay dark, A bright light appeared out of nowhere, causing me to close my eyes. My hands were strapped down, how could I move them? I wondered as I turned to my stomach and looked at my surroundings. I was in a vast field of multi-colored flowers and a man with golden blond hair down to the ground and the brightest blue eyes reached a hand toward me. He pulled me to stand before him and it clicked.

"Helios." I whispered in awe; I am standing before a god. Not just any god, the sun god.

He smiled a slow and sad smile. "Yes, I am Helios." He said in enochian. "May I have your name?"

"Lucy." I whispered still gazing at this man. He seemed so tired and withdrawn.

"You will wake soon and when you do, you need to release me from my world, Elysian. The people of Angelus Isle have been tricked into summoning my elder brother, the primordial god Chaos. They believed they were speaking to me." He explained, still in enochian. "Time flows differently here than on Earth land so I will train you while you are here."

"What about the other girls? Where are they?" I asked, hoping they are somewhere.

"Their celestial path is different from yours. Their fate is tied to weather you can defeat my brother." He explained as he walked through the field.

"They were supposed to worship you, weren't they?" I asked as I trailed after him.

He nodded as he said, "I have one year to train you. In your world, it will be four months so prepare." He lifted his hand and a small cottage materialized. "Everything you could possibly need is in there. We have a lot of work to do."

Conquering a God

I pulled the sting of my bow in proper stance as I took a deep breath. As I released the arrow and the string, I noticed the sky begin to crack. I glanced at the arrow that split the other arrow and smiled at Helios. "Told you I could do it."

He smiled as he handed me a quiver of arrows, all with different heads and the belt that is tied to the subspace he taught me to create. I put my arrows and my bow in there and smiled as I hugged him. "I will see you soon, friend." He said as I took a step back, ready to return to my body.

I gasped as I shot up, scaring the wits out of Loke and Aquarius who were standing over my body. I looked at my hand and noticed the belt that I created in Helios's realm was in my hand. The purple circles were doors to different sections of mt subspace and were chained together so it could also double as a whip.

"What happened?" I asked as I saw Yukino and Hisui still down, covered in dried blood.

"These stupid people summoned the door to Hell tried to release Chaos from his prison. He is still tied to hell but he us free." Aquarius said as she kept rubbing my hair. "We have to get you out of here!"

"No!" I shouted as I kept away from them. "If I don't close the door, all the people they killed to open it, stay dead. They aren't really dead, but they will be if we don't close the door."

I ran to the window and saw a massive door with two skeletons on either side of it. They looked like gate keepers.

I looked around the room and saw a pile of celestial keys, so I quickly ran toward them. All of mine where there plus three golden keys. Capricorn. Pisces. Libra.

Ok, I grabbed added those keys to mine as I followed the heat to the shrine of Helios.

I hesitated to touch it for a moment because of how hot it was just to be near it, but I took a breath for luck and reached to touch it, not feeling a burning sensation, I smiled as Loke looked at me in confusion. "Surgit." I chanted as I felt the heat radiate trough my magic and through my keys. I looked at my veins and they were gold while my skin appeared to sparkle like I was covered in glitter.

"That is a side effect, but You are in control of my power." Helios said as I felt a scalding heat spread across my back. I shrieked in surprise as I dropped to my knees.

Before I can recover a huge dark bubble comes out of nowhere and swallows me whole.

"Hello, Celestial wizard." A voice called out, fear rakes through my body as I force myself to lock eyes with Chaos. Unlike his brother his long hair was black as night and his eyes were red.

"You seem to be afraid of me, but you are brave." His voice low and seductive.

"Why did you trick these people?" I asked hoping I could buy enough time to get myself out of this situation.

He smiled a cruel and sardonic smile as he said, "Because they trapped my little brother."

"He isn't trapped, he chose to be here. You are a god, why don't you just pop into Elysian and say hello? Why do you have to trick people to kill others?" I asked, terrified that this is where I die.

"That wasn't my fault. My power causes temptation. I am neither evil nor good. I am a creation of my surroundings, and these corrupt people chose to use it to kill others for greed. These greedy people felt they could have the protection and temptation of two gods not one." He explained as I remembered everything my mother told me about the primordial being.

I observe Chaos more. He speaks earth land, not enochian. He's more charismatic, but I don't feel warmth from him but it's not cold either. It's dark like when you stand in a room with no light. When I allow myself to feel him, to look deep in his eyes, I see the beginning of time.

"What happens now? What do you want?" I ask softly as he looks shocked at my question.

"No one has ever asked me what I wanted before." He hums as he rubs his chin in thought. "I want to be free from my prison."

I freeze in shock and terror. "You are primordial. Can't you free yourself?"

"My power scares humans so I was trapped in my own darkness. I wish to be released." He explains like he's talking to a small child. I scoff as I realize, he's older than anything ever so he probably feels like he is.

"What will happen if I free you? I don't kill people." I asked, gazing at him.

"If you free me, my darkness is at your control. In return, I'll train any children that will be born from you since they would be born with a large piece of my power."

I pause in consideration. He is giving me full control of his power without sacrifice. Why? Cracks appear in the bubble that surrounds us as I glower at him.

"I'm not my brother. I don't particularly enjoy isolation. Do we have a deal?" He holds out his hand.

I bite my hand, so I bled, and I reach for his hand, not to accept the deal but to do something more. I won't free him but… I push my power into his waiting contract and begin ripping it to stitch it with Helios's. He screams in torment as he tries to pull away from me, I scream in defiance and agony. If I mix the power of their prisons, they can be together, neither will be isolated and Chaos can be free, just not on earth land.

"This is your deal!" I shout in pain as I feel the heat from sunshine. It should be possible but... I use my other hand to press it to the spot where Chaos's heart should reside.

"Join your brother in Elysian. Be free there! Not on earth land!"

His eyes widen as he processes my words. "Deal, my power is yours."

I dropped to the ground flat on my face as I feel the rays on the sun caress my back. The doors were gone.

"Lucy!" I hear the voices of all my contracted spirits. In complete exhaustion, I push to sit on my legs and notice I am surrounded by all the spirits I have in my possession minus Chaos and Helios. I glance around me and notice I am surrounded by the people of this Island. It made since why people not from this island called it the isle of the lost. They were luring and killing people because of their greed. They were lost.

I heaved myself to stand, and the gasp of surprise cause me to turn to Loke, who was standing behind me.

The people of Angelus were staring at me as Scientia walked to me with a small girl in her arms and tears down her face. "Because of you and your power, my girl and the others we've hurt are alive. Thank you."

"Not like it was my choice or anything, now can I get a boat out of here. I want to go home." I ordered, not caring that I was being rude.

The encounter

Yukino and I dropped off Princess Hisui in Crocus and were given a hero's dinner. Apparently, the people kidnapped her because they wanted her celestial abilities to complexly free Chaos, believing they were freeing Helios.

I placed Capricorn, Pisces, and Libra on Yukino's pillow regretfully and put my backpack in my subspace.

"Miss Lucy." Yukino's voice rang out in our shared room. I glanced at her as she held her hands to me with the keys in them. "I think you should have them. A celestial wizard having all twelve zodiac keys hasn't happened in a hundred years. I think that by them finding their way to you, you need them." Her eyes teared up as I took the keys from her.

"What about you? Where will you go?" I asked her as she looked at me with a smile. "I want to join a guild, so I have to train and get strong like you."

"Well, when you feel you are ready, join Fairy Tail." I smiled as I gave her a hug.

I waved goodbye as I headed to the train station ready to confront another problem.

I watched the scenery change as the train grew closer to Magnolia with a big sigh. Natsu Dragneel has been on my mind, and I hate myself for it. He is probably happy going on jobs with Lisanna and they are a couple. I squashed the jealousy down, determined to be happy for my friends.

"Oh, I should probably warn you…" Chaos's voice rang in my head as Helios chuckled like they were sharing a private joke. Since these to have been in Elysian together, their childish antics have been driving me crazy.

"Warn me about what?" I asked as Chaos finally chuckled at me too.

"…Your sex drive is going to increase more than you are used to because of my magics tendency to want to reproduce…" Chaos starts ad Helios took over, "… but my contract makes it so you can only feel sexual attraction for one person."

I sighed in annoyance as I realize my attraction for Natsu means I can't be with anyone else. Well, great. I need to work on how to control Chaos's power and fight sexual attraction for my ex-teammate. At least I was on birth control. I sighed as I walked of the train and slowly walked to my house.

I walked into my house and a loud, "Lucy!" followed by a body gently wrapping itself around me. "I missed you." Natsu mumbled in my neck, causing a warmth tingle from that spot down to my toes.

I patted his back and stepped out of his hold, not missing the look of hurt that crossed his face. "That kind of hurts, Natsu." I glanced around, expecting to see the little blue exceed. "Where is Happy?"

"Where is Happy? That's all you have to say to me. Four fucking months and that's all you have to say to me!" He growled and I flinched in guilt.

He picked me up bridle style and carried me to my couch ignoring my squawk of his name.

"Natsu, what on earth land are you doing?" I asked, releasing a small sigh of pleasure as he took off my shoes and massaged my aching feet.

"I wanted to talk to you, and I feel that you would be willing to talk if you were relaxed. He said as his hands got warmer. I held my breath, ready for what I thought he was going to say but what he did say had me feeling really bad I kept my distance from him. "I really missed you and I don't like this distance between us."

"I figured you want to be partners with Lisanna since she is alive. I wouldn't blame you. Everyone thought she was gone for good. It's only natural that you want to spend time with her." I mumbled, then closed my eyes at how good his hand felt at the arch of my foot.

"You are super awesome, Luce. I choose you to be my life partner. You are the brains to our whole operation. Without you, me and Happy would starve." I smiled at his little joke as he continued. "Lis will be here when we're done with our jobs. Please stop avoiding me, I can't bear it anymore. I feel like I'm losing my mind."

"Alright Natsu, I promise." I said as I held out my pinky. He encircled his pinky around mine for a second then asked, "So, Can I spend the night?" before poking me in the side.

I smiled widely as I giggled at his childishness. He was still Natsu, and I loved him more than anything in the world. I could and would be happy for him to have his friend back. "Like you wouldn't have, If I said no." I responded teasingly.

I felt a warm but muscular body pressed intimately against the front of me, a warm hand sensually tugging on my hair, and a hard and long rod pressed directly against my wanting core as I circled my hips against it. I vaguely remembered Natsu was in my bed, but I was confident this was a dream so I threw my leg over dream Natsu, loving the low moan he emitted. I heard the needy way I said his name as a warm hand slipped under my shirt to play with my nipples.

I sped up the pace of my hips as dream Natsu, pulled me closer to him. I came with a stuttered breath and took a moment to compose myself before waking up completely.

"Morning, Luce. Didja sleep well?" He impishly said and the panic I felt at what just happened caused me to peel myself off Natsu.

"Um... I… That…" My normally articulate self couldn't figure out what to say to him or how to explain this away but before I could figure it out, I was pinned to the bed. He pressed his erection directly against my core and whispered into my neck, "What was that Luce, I can't hear you." He then began placing small nips across my neck before biting a spot that derailed my train of thought so hard, I heard an actual crash in my head.

"Natsu..." my voice breathless as he ground his extremely hard cock against my clit. I raised my hips to his, loving how he felt against me.

"We have to get to the guild today before Happy comes looking for us, but I won't forget this moment gorgeous." He said before pressing his lips against mine. I froze at the contact. What about Lisanna? I wanted to ask but all I could feel was him and how soft his lips were. I kissed him back and I felt his lips quirk into a smile before he removed himself off me.

"I have to…" He blushed as he pointed to his erection. "…Take care of this. Can we meet at the guild?"

My face which was as red as a tomato by now nodded, not trusting myself not to beg him to take me right now. He took a deep breath and when his pants weren't tented, he leapt from my window.

"See you later, Luce!" He waved, walking toward his house.

"Next time use the door!" I shouted after him with a grin. I thew myself across my bed and looked at my clock. It was about an hour before sunrise, and I needed to cool down, so I decided to change and go for a run.
