Rocketman was still going around the main gate while everyone inside was getting a little anxious.
"Come on, how long do they expect us to keep waiting here," said Snotlout.
"It's only another two minutes," said Astrid rolling her eyes.
"Somehow, that doesn't make me feel any better," Snotlout grumbled.
"At least you don't have to figure out these new weapons," said Fishlegs looking at his gauntlets.
"I just hope that everyone is okay," said Chopper.
"Toothless decided to wait outside," said Ruffnut.
"I have half a mind to join him," said Tuffnut.
"All we can do is be patient," said Ragnar. "Hiccup may have jumped the gun, but we have to sit tight and stick with the plan."
Sadly the Eret Family had run into difficulties in the form of two giants by the name of Kadir and Gabor.
"This is a dead-end little tweeps," said Gabor.
The Eret Family had just seen them taking down their strongest fighters and were now utterly terrified.
"This is your last chance to turn around and go home," said Kadir.
"One more step, and we'll stomp you," said Gabor.
To prove their point, they immediately stand their feet on the ground, causing it to shake. However, despite the giant overwhelming strength, the Eret Family refused to run.
"We can't turn back now! Just remember our Big Bro is waiting on the other side of that gate! Our Bro Eret wouldn't give up in a time like this, and neither will we!"
They immediately charged at the giants, but the first few of them was swatted away by Gabor's bludgeon.
"Don't give in! We've got to clear the way for Rocketman!"
To make it harder for them to be picked off immediately split into three groups and began firing their bazookas, but they were nothing more than pea shooters to the giants. Kadir had grabbed two of them and then tossed them aside.
One group was close to the gate, but Gabor slammed his bludgeon right in front of them, blocking their path.
"Forget about it; I won't even let ant through this gate," he said and began dragging his bludgeon across the ground forcing the Eret Family to retreat.
It was that time that Teeny, the twins and Galley Law arrived riding on David and Goliath. The two Bulls now had caterpillar tracks on the things allowing them to move across the ground.
"The Destroyers!" Kaley stared.
"What happened?" said Kalena.
"You bastards took out our strongest guys before we even got here," said Teeny, furious. "You'll pay!"
Both David and Goliath and immediately bit down on Kadir's shoulders, catching him completely by surprise.
"What is that?" Gabor stared.
"Teeny!
"Kaley! Kalena!"
"Galley Law!"
Kadir managed to shake David and Goliath off, though it took some effort.
"Sorry for the wait; it took a little longer than I thought to get David and Goliath ready for land!" said Teeny looking down at his men.
"Teeny! They beat the Destroyers!"
"Yeah, I know," said Teeny looking back at them. "But we don't have time to patch them up right now; the only thing that matters is getting through that gate. We came here to rescue our Big Bro, and that's just what we're going to do!"
The two giants glared at them furiously.
"Let's rock," said Palmer.
"Yeah!" said Teeny.
The twins then immediately jumped off David and landed on the ground.
"We'll send those big loves crashing down," said Kaley and then charged at them. "Come on!"
"You got it, Kaley!" said Kalena, following her.
The two of them advanced on Kadir while his attention was on the Bulls and drew their swords. The two of them then slashed his left boot with some several quick swings.
"Here we go!" they said. "Hull Dismantle Slash!"
In seconds Kadir boot had been slashed to shreds, and he slid upon the soul.
Palmer quickly took advantage of his lack of balance. "Rope Action: Timber Hitch Tug!"
He landed on Kadir's shoulder, quickly jumped off, swung his ropes around, and immediately wrapped themselves around his hair. He then pulled down on the ropes using his body weight to pull him back.
Teeny had also landed on Kadir and was aiming his bazooka directly at it. He then fired a shot right at his face, causing Kadir to fall over and hit enter the gate.
"Kadir, no!" Gabor yelled.
Goliath and slapped him across the face with his tail, causing Gabor to glare at him.
"Tilestone!" Lasse yelled as the two of them ran across Kadir.
Lasse then tossed him some nails, and he then stuck them into Kadir's face and hair. Once they were in place, Lasse then began banging on the nails fixing Kadir's face to the gate.
"That's a job well done," said Tilestone.
The Eret Family cheered as one of the Giants have been taken down in a matter of 30 seconds.
Gabor was absolutely furious, and Teeny stuck his tongue out, pulling his eyelid down mocking him.
"Little runts!" Gabor roared, letting his anger get the better of him. "I'll crush you!
He then raised his bludgeon and slammed it down towards them, forgetting that they were actually standing on Kadir's face. Teeny, Tilestone and Lasse then quickly jumped off, and his bludgeon struck only Kadir.
Gabor's eyes widened when he realised his mistake. "Kadir!"
He pulled his bludgeon away and saw that he had not Kadir out cold, meaning he was now officially taken down. The Eret Family and Galley Law cheered at their success.
"All right!" Teeny yelled.
Gabor glared down at them. "How dare you!"
"Don't let up, men!" Teeny yelled. "We've got one more to go!"
They then charged at Gabor finding new hope.
Spandam was currently in his office getting a recent report of the situation.
"What's the current starters?" he asked.
"Sir, well, Kadir and Gabor should be dealing with the intruders at the main island gate right now," said the Government agent on the other end. "I don't suspect they're having any trouble."
"Naturally, but what about Dragon? Where are we at on that one?"
"Where are we at? Uh, this is just an estimate, but I say about 400."
Spandam frowned. "400? What are you talking about?"
"Our casualties, sir!"
Hiccup was taking down Marine and Government agents with the greatest of ease.
"You're not making any sense, man," said Spandam. "You're telling me that Dragon has defeated 400 of our guards?"
"Looks like we lost a hundred more just now," said the agent as Hiccup had dispatched another company. "No, that number is wrong. I will correct it, sir."
"You'd better; our guards are well trained," said Spandam. "I'll be damned if one man can take that many out. If we have casualties, at least report them properly."
Hiccup knows the agent on the transponder snail and immediately opened his mouth, charging for plasma blast.
"Right," said the agent, not realising that he was in danger. "Then allow me to report again, I estimate that our current casualties are at 5—"
He was then struck by a plasma blast and was sent flying into the wall.
"Five men?" said Spandam. "We only lost five of our guards? Geez, how in the world could you make such an obvious mistake?"
"500," the agent groaned before he passed out.
Hiccup smiled. "That should keep them off my back for a while.
Spandam then placed the receiver back on the transponder snail.
"Seems Dragon is no threat after all," he said smugly. "He's just running around the island making a lot of noise. Well, that's no surprise no one is stupid enough to take out that many gods on his own. Either way, it's only a matter of time before he's captured."
Outside, Lael and his group had finally arrived at the Tower of Law. They were now standing directly outside of Spandam's office.
"Good to see you all back," said the agent, standing guard. "Chief, Mr Lael party had arrived!"
"Excellent, well, what are you waiting for? Show them in already," Spandam ordered.
Heather just stared there, looking at the window, thinking this may very well be the last time she would see the sky.
Spandam smiled as Lael, and his party ended his office, meaning that all members of CP9 had finally been reunited.
"It's been quite a while, chief, hasn't it?" said Lael.
Spandam smiled and nodded.
"As promised, we brought Eric Earlson, the criminal responsible for injuring government officials in Water 7, 8 years ago. But of course, we also have Heather Owson, the last surviving resident of Darknar, who we have been trying to capture for the past decade. They're both waiting outside if you would like to see them. Ensure the mission was a huge success."
Spandam smiled as he looked at them all. "It's good to have you back, Lael… Silvernose… Burl… Kaia."
"That's harassment," said Kaia.
"All I did was say your name."
"Looks like the whole gang is here now; this is going to be good," said Gunner.
Jabez merely smirked. "Just like old times, huh, Lael? Actually, I think you're now even more smug than before."
"Considering that their mission was a complete success in comparison to ours, I believe he has a lot to be smug about," said Lily.
"And sadly, you're still not any smarter, Jabez," said Lael looking directly at him.
"What?" Jabez glared.
"Oh, come on, we've hardly got not the train, and the first thing you two do is start bickering," said Silvernose.
"Silvernose is correct; can't we all just get along?" said Ake.
"Why we're colleagues, not friends," said Gunner. "I mean, when was the last time any of us had a good laugh?"
"Five long years we have awaited their return, is it wrong not to show them courtesy?" Ake asked.
Olaf then rose to his feet and immediately charged at Kaia, who then kicked him back. He was then sent flying towards Burl, who punched him. Slivenose then knocked him back with his forearm when he came charging towards him, and lastly, Lael kicked him towards the wall.
"Ow," he said.
"I had a feeling you are going to test us right away, Olaf," said Kaia.
"He did the same to Arsenal for a short while ago," said Lily.
"Six Powers Skill Competition," said Olaf as he lifted himself up. "I'll use an armed guard as reference for the ranking. Let's say they're about 10, so your power levels are… Oh, interesting, very interesting."
"Well, don't keep us in suspense," said Gunner.
"Do you really have to go through this?" said Lily rolling her eyes. "Does it really matter how powerful we are?"
"Some of us like to know how far to the top we are," said Jabez.
"First is Kaia, power level 630…" said Olaf. "Burl is 820… Silvernose is 2200… and Lael…" His eyes then widen in shock. "… power level 4000!"
"4000?" Jabez stared. "You got to be making these numbers up! There's no such thing as a power level that high!"
"Well, maybe not before now, but they've gotten stronger. Since I measured Ake, Lily, Gunner and Jabez too, I can finally rank all of CP9."
Kaia: 630
Olaf: 800
Ake: 810
Burl: 820
Gunner: 2000
Lily: 2150
Jabez: 2180
Silvernose: 2200
Lael: 4000
Jabez wasn't too happy with his position. "No way, Olaf! I want to recount! Even if I ignore the whole Lael thing, why the hell am I weaker than Silvernose?"
"Because Slivernose got stronger too, that's why," said Olaf simply.
Jabez just glared at Silvernose. "I don't want you getting a big head over this, Slivernose. Just remember the competition technique only measures your physical strength. In a real battle, I have my Devil Fruit powers to help me out too! I can trash a guy like you any day of the week, got it?"
"I don't care," said Slivernose turning his back on him. "It makes you feel better; keep telling yourself that."
"Exactly, don't pay any heed to the yapping of that mangy dog," said Lael.
"So I'm a mangy dog, am I?" Jabez growled. "Screw you, cat bastard."
The two of them then immediately began transforming, growling at one another; it really did look as if they were about to fight.
"There they go again," said Lily. "I can't believe that I missed Lael's strict personality?"
"Honestly, both of you, stop it," said Kaia.
The two of them then reverted back to human, though they still snarled at one another.
"Jabez is certainly as touchy today, isn't it?" Slivernose noted.
"He's been since noon when we got back from our mission," said Gunner.
"Did something happen to him?"
"All the guards on the island are talking about it," said Olaf. "Jabez has been in a bad mood since he got dumped by that waitress Greta the other day."
"So that's it," said Burl.
Jabez then rushed towards him. "Hey, now hold on a sec! That's a secret. How do people know about that?"
"Because I told them everyone here how sad and lonely you are," said Olaf.
Jabez practically strangled him. "I should have known!"
"Sometimes I wonder how Olaf even managed to become a member of a secret organisation would keep spilling out secrets to everyone he meets," said Gunner.
"Geez, this is what you get for doing that stupid ranking nonsense right off the bat," said Spandam grumbled. "There's hardly any point in bickering over who is strongest when you're Six Powers Training may you all superhuman. Power level 500 should be more than anyone needs, right?"
"He's saying because he's a level 9," said Olaf. "Even weaker than a guard."
"Who cares?" Spandam snapped. "You guys are the muscle; I just give out the orders! Besides, I have my special sword to be user pitch."
"The one he hardly ever uses or know how to wield," said Lily rolling her eyes.
"It's all right chief, we've always known how weak you are," said Kaia.
Spandam looked at her sweetly. "Come on now, Kaia, there's no need to be so blunt about it."
"That sexual harassment," said Kaia.
"What because I applied to you?"
"By the way…" Kaia continued.
"What now?"
"That sexual harassment."
Spandam practically toppled over, knocking a transponder snail over. "My existence?"
"Kaia, you are showing very poor form," said Ake and then pulled out a knife. "Allow me to apologise, dear chief. By putting this blade into my belly."
He then plunged the knife towards him, but he subconsciously activated his Iron Body shielding him.
"I can't even die right," Ake groaned.
"If you want to die that badly I'm happy to help!" Jabez grumbled.
"Or perhaps it is your love that protects me, dear mother," he said, looking up towards the ceiling. "Is it not my time?"
"I see now; I do know you lost your mother," said Jabez cried.
"We have long fought, but now we can find solace in each other's plight."
"Yeah, despite all the cruel things I said, I understand your pain. I know what it feels like to lose a loved one."
The two of them then hugged one another and began crying their eyes out.
"Mother dear!" Ake cried.
"Greta! Am I not good enough for you?"
"I miss you!"
Lily facepalm herself. "And I didn't think things could get any weirder."
Kaia then put the receiver back on the transponder snail and looked at Spandam. "Chief."
"Yes?" he said, looking up.
"Their play is over; we can continue."
"Oh, right," he said, sitting up. "Although it's been a long time coming, needless to say, I'm extremely pleased with your performance in this mission. Of course, it is fantastic that you brought Heather Owson, but catching that bastard Eric Earlson is the icing on the cake for me. It's no exaggeration when I say that the entire world will trade your efforts once word of this finally gets out. Let me tell you, your commander and chief, this is one of the proudest moments of my life, and I mean that. By the way, although it's not exactly a reward for all your hard work, I do have something I want to give you, but we can take care of that later."
He looked down beneath his desk, looking at two Devil Fruits.
He then looked back up at them. "For now, let's meet them, shall we? The hope of the entire world."
"Are you ready, ladies and gents?" said Coco. "The time has finally arrived; if they don't have those gates open by now, it eight going to happen."
"Hurry up and go! Hurry up and go!" Chimney yelled repeatedly.
"I'm gonna need you to take out the iron fence swordsman," said Coco.
Toothless sat there on the train with Magni as they began to approach the island.
"Just leave it to me," he said.
The Eret Family and Galley Law were still battling against Gabor, and David had just slammed his tracks on his foot.
"That hurts!" Gabor yelled.
"Hurry up!" Teeny yelled. "There is no time; we've got to open that gate!"
Gabor then knocked David to the ground, and the Eret Family charged in.
"Keep going! Go!" Teeny yelled.
Hiccup was still fighting his way through Marines and agents; he then quickly destroyed the stand causing it to fall on several Marines before running down a side street. However, he was so busy running that he failed to notice that he had just run down a dead end.
"Great, now I'm completely lost," he said and then looked at the rooftops. "Good thing I'm able to fly."
He transformed into his hybrid form and immediately took off and looked out towards the Tower of Law.
"I'm coming, Heather, just you wait," he said. "I'm not going to let you leave my crew that easily!"
The Marines below him spotted him.
"Look, he's up there!"
Hiccup then began to fly close towards the Tower.
At the same time within the Tower, government agents made their way into the foyer where Heather and Eret were waiting.
"The commander-in-chief will see you now; both of you go inside!"
Hiccup and the Dragon Riders were going to put all the stops to rescue Heather, whether she wants to be rescued or not.
