Hey guys. These are one-shots of Amanda dealing with her autism and working in SVU. Check out littlenervousmile on ao3. Got my inspiration from those fics. This first one will be when Lewis has Olivia. Olivia is very close with Amanda and she is usually the one who helps her through meltdowns. Hope yall enjoy.
"Liv, it's Fin," he said nocking on his friends apartment door.
"Nooo," Amanda screamed when she saw the apartment, immediately calling the captain, feeling a meltdown coming on, and quickly.
"Amanda?" "What is it?" He asked and was worried when all he heard was sobbing.
"It's him, it-it's Lewis."
"He tied her up, duck taped her mouth, her hair, her blood, her blood, her blood," she repeated several times and he knew she was struggling.
"Amanda, what about those things?" He asked gently, afraid to here the answer.
"Captain i-it's everywhere," she got out before the meltdown totally took over and she began hitting the sides of her head with her fists, hard, hearing Fin trying to calm her.
"Shit," he swore before hurrying out the door.
"Amanda, honey, stay on the phone with me," he said gently, his heart breaking for her, knowing how she felt about the brunette detective.
They were extremely close, and Olivia was the only person she wanted besides him when a meltdown came on.
He knew he needed to get to her as soon as possible.
Flying out of his car, he hurried up to the apartment where he saw Amanda and Fin, his youngest detective in the throws of the most severe meltdown he'd ever seen.
"There's a pan on the stove with keys, smells like burnt hair or flesh," Fin says, sighing when Amanda lets out another cry, hitting her head once more.
"Son of a bitch," Cragen swore once again, carefully walking up to Amanda.
"Amanda, baby, come on," he whispers, trying to guide her out into the hallway but she just flinches away, crying harder and continuing to hit, before a hand goes into her mouth where she bites, hard.
"Hey, no, we aren't doing that," he says gently, gripping her wrists softly.
"Liv," she screams as she stares at her friends apartment before falling into Cragens arms, placing her hands over her ears and beginning to hum, trying to block it all out, just wanting normalcy, wanting Olivia.
"Liv is gonna be fine," he says, not sure if he believes that or not, but knowing he needs to get his detective calm, knowing this wasn't going to go well and praying they found the brunette soon, for Amanda's sake.
