Goliath was back on the move and was carrying everyone towards the courthouse, but he kept on crashing into buildings for some reason.
"Goliath, what are you doing!" Teeny yelled. "You are not as if you keep crashing like that!"
"Whoa, maybe he's too injured to go on."
Goliath was indeed injured the blood pouring out of his mouth was evident that, but regardless he kept on moving and roared.
Chopper's eyes widened. "What? No! Goliath, can't say! His retinas were damaged in that last attack! He's blind!"
Everyone was completely shocked as Goliath kept on moving.
"What was that?" said Teeny. "Goliath, you can't see anything?"
Goliath roared as he grazed yet another building and was building up speed, much to the Marines horror.
"It's building up speed!"
"Don't just stand there; shoot it! We've got to stop that thing!"
"We can't let it go any further! Fire trench mortars!"
Goliath roared as he kept on moving towards the courthouse in a straight line.
"Goliath, don't do this! Please stop!" Kaley pleaded.
"You're in no shape to go on!" Kalena yelled. "You'll kill yourself!"
Goliath roared loudly.
"He said that he made a promise to David," Chopper translated, and everyone immediately looked back at David. "He said, leave the rest to me. I'll take on your share and carry everyone the rest of the way!"
"Goliath," said Teeny stunned.
Goliath began thinking back to all those happy memories he had with the Eret Family.
"Those were in its stomach," said Eret really laid eyes upon them the first time. "They look too weird to eat. Let's just take them with us."
Then he remembered when pirates attacked them.
"Big Bro, pirates, gave David a serious beating!" said Teeny.
"You pirates have got a lot of nerve; never touch my family!" Eret snarled, cracking his knuckles.
He remembered when both he and his brother happily dragged the Eret Family boat across the sea.
"Hey, take it easy, you two! You're still injured!" said Eret laughing. "This is no time for a dance party."
Goliath began picking up speed, but in their way was a building.
"Look, we're headed straight to a dead-end! He'll crash into it and die!"
"Goliath, stop it now!" Teeny yelled at the top of his voice. "You'll never make it! Stop!"
Either Goliath could hear him, or he didn't care because he was still heading towards the dead end, and nothing would seem to stop him.
"Dead-end?" Astrid smiled. "I don't see one, do you?"
"Nope, can't say that I see anything of the sort," said Ragnar.
"All I see is a simple roadblock," said Toothless.
The three of them then ran up Goliath's neck and then jumped towards the building. Astrid raised her palm containing her impact dial, Toothless drew his blade, and Ragnar got ready to swing with his legs. Astrid blew apart the middle of the building with her impact dial, Toothless sliced apart the right section of the building with his blade, and Ragnar smashed through the left part of the building.
Together the three of them had demolished the building allowing Goliath to entered the courthouse Plaza. The Marines stationed there were completely stunned and began running in different directions to avoid the debris.
Goliath used the last of his strength to reach the Plaza and collapsed right at the gates of the courthouse.
"It's the courthouse!" Teeny cheered. "He did it!"
Everyone immediately cheered for Goliath.
"You made it, Goliath," Chopper cried.
Goliath was now completely out cold; he had used the last of his strength to get them there.
"All units, the King Bull carrying the pirates broke through Block D, and they are now the courthouse Plaza!" said a Marine on the transponder snails. "I repeat, the King Bull carrying the pirates broke through!"
Spandam was in his office holding the golden transponder snail that would signal the Buster Call.
"Look at this, Tusk," said Spandam looking at his elephant.
The elephant in question and in particular these showed any interest and was more focusing eating its meal.
"A golden transponder snail," Spandam smiled as he held it out. "Having this little gadget is the same as having the authority to issue a Buster Call. That means I have the same power as a Navy Admiral or someone even higher than that. Admiral Asmund interested it to me, the question is if and when will I use it? Just you wait; once I revive the ancient weapons, this one be something that's just on loan to me. I will carry it at my own accord, along with the power to control an army."
Spandam then hovered his finger over the button. "With a single push of a button, and entire island will disappear. Authority can be a weapon onto itself. Oh, the power."
A Government agent then immediately rushed in frantically. "Chief Spandam!"
Spandam was so surprised he nearly pressed down on the button. "That was close! What's wrong with you? Can't you even knock? I almost accidentally hit the button!"
"I'm terribly sorry, sir," said the agent. "But I'm afraid that we have got an emergency here. There's an urgent call from Enies Lobby's main island!"
"Idiot, if there is an emergency, why did they just call my room directly?" said Spandam as he rose to his feet. He turned and then noticed that the receiver was off the hook. "What the? Hey, why is the receiver off the hook? This always happens; who's responsible?"
He then turned his head back to the agent. "Either way, you are saying something about an emergency, weren't you?"
"Yes, sir!"
Spandam suspected that this had something to do with the Dragon Riders; he was still oblivious to the fact that they were practically at his front door. He still believed the first report he had received, and with the receiver off the hook, he hadn't gotten any updates up until now.
He took the transponder snail from the agent and then gleefully made his way over to Heather and Eret, wanting to rub it in their faces.
"Spanda," Eret glared.
Spandam stopped in front of them and smiled. "Hey, Miss Heather. It would seem as if we have an urgent report coming in from the Marines down at the main island. Knowing what is likely about, I wouldn't call it an emergency exactly. Your friends tried their best but only managed to take down five of our soldiers. I wonder how they were ultimately defeated. Did some of my other men bring them down, or was it the giant gatekeeping team of Gabor and Kadir? So many possibilities."
He then bent down towards her gleefully. "Why don't we hear about the report about those idiots who defied the World Government and learned their fate together?"
"You're such a scumbag," Eret glared.
"Shut up, you lowlife!" Spandam snapped and then turned back to Heather. He then removed the receiver on the transponder snail. "This is Spandam; I understand you have a report."
"Chief Spandam, finely thank goodness," said the Marine on the other end, sounding relieved. "I tried your direct line, but I couldn't get through. I-I'm not really sure where to begin."
"Calm down, take it easy," said Spandam. "It's the Dragon Riders, right? Yes, what about them? Wait for a second, listen, just pick from where your last report ended. Give me the gritty details loudly and clearly."
"Right, the intruders—"
"Did you accidentally kill them? Pity, it's their fault for being such weaklings."
"The intruders consist of about 60 pirates! They have pushed all the way through the main island and have reached the courthouse Plaza! We can't stop them, sir!"
Spandam stood there in shock.
The Marines were completely freaking out; this kind of invasion was unprecedented in so they were ill-prepared.
"All personnel, on Enies Lobby's main island! Head to the courthouse Plaza immediately!"
Marines and agents alike began to scramble, making their way to the courthouse.
"He did a good job, Goliath," said Teeny looking down at the King Bull. "I swear that everything you two did will not be in vain. Alright, we're breaking in; it's time to save Big Bro Eret!"
"Yeah!" the Eret Family cheered, jumping off of Goliath.
Fishlegs, Chopper and the twins then jumped off Goliath to join up with the others, who are currently looking up at the top of the courthouse for any sign of Hiccup.
"Can you see, Hiccup?" Fishlegs asked.
"Not even a scale," said Ragnar. "With these up on the roof or not, we can't exactly jump up after him."
"Yeah, unlike him, none of us have wings," Toothless agreed.
"Then our only option is to get inside the courthouse and find a way up," Astrid concluded.
"That doesn't sound difficult at all," said Ruffnut.
"Yeah, we'll be home by breakfast," said Tuffnut.
"So, how many members of CP9 did you see up there?" Fishlegs asked.
"It was just that one big guy with the crazy door powers," said Toothless.
"Hard to believe that Heather… Eret… all of them are right behind those doors," said Ragnar.
"In any case, we need to catch up with Hiccup, then we can save Heather together," said Chopper.
Then suddenly, they sensed something heading their way, and it was a wrecking ball similar to the one that took down Goliath. It was doing directly towards them, but before anyone could make a move jumping right in front of it was Magni. He was able to stop it in its tracks with just his wept feet.
The Eret Family were completely stunned.
"Whoa, that frog is awesome."
"That's the same ball that took out Goliath. How to throw it?"
"I'm about to find out," said Ragnar and began chasing after the perpetrators.
"I think there's three of them! And they're running away?"
"Why are they running away? They're the ones that attacked?" Chopper frowned.
"A bit more concerned that Ragnar chased them down, we don't have time chasing every enemy that goes off like that it's a complete waste of time," said Toothless.
Ragnar managed to catch up with the owner of the wrecking ball, who was hiding in one of the buildings. Ragnar was able to dodge the wrecking ball and then dealt a kick so powerful that he went straight through the wall.
"Just a little confirmation," said Ragnar as he stepped out of the dust. Falling behind him was the enemy with the wrecking ball. "Some of them need to be chased. We know who we're up against."
The Eret Family were completely in awe.
Everyone can now get a better look at the enemy, and he was like some sort of gladiator; he had a very muscular body and around his wrist was a ball and chain.
"Who is this guy?"
"He must have superhuman strength to swing something like that around."
"You think that he's part of some special unit like those guard dogs?"
"There's probably more of them hiding out there somewhere," Ragnar deduced. "Let's be careful."
They could hear yells as Marines began closing in on them.
"We need to get moving," said Teeny. "It looks like the reinforcements have arrived."
"Surround them! There's no way they'll be able to open those heavy stone doors! We'll have them cornered! Move it!"
"He's right," said Teeny reluctantly. "Now that I think about it, how are we gonna open those big stone—"
Toothless answered that question by slicing through the doors' stone base, creating an opening large enough for them to enter.
"We're going in first," said Toothless. "Stay close! Don't fall behind!"
Teeny just stared. "H-He cut right through them like it was nothing."
The female twins then rushed over to him.
"Hey, Teeny!" said Kalena. "Let's split up; we need a charge both of those towers."
"Because each side has a lever to open up that drawbridge," said Kaley.
"Yeah, good thinking. I'm on it!" said Teeny and then looked at the rest of the Eret Family. "Right, looks like we need to split into three teams. Most of you go with Kaley and Kalena! The rest with me; we'll crack some heads on that courthouse! Good luck, everyone, move!"
They split into three groups, more than happy with them, went with the twins towards the tower. The rest of them charge right into the courthouse with Teeny and the Dragon Riders.
Back at the Tower of Law, Spandam was still in complete shock from the report.
"Also, the gatekeepers of the main island front gate, Gabor and Kadir, have joined up with the pirates!" the Marine over the transponder snail continued. "They are currently destroying the central part of the main island! After hearing all the field reports, Agathe casualties total must be over 2,000 men!"
"Wait, not five," said Spandam looking devastated.
"And the man who took down over 1,000 of those men by himself, the notorious Dragon Conqueror Hiccup, has suddenly disappeared. We're still assessing the situation here!"
Spandam had heard enough and immediately ran, dropping the transponder snail and ran to the nearest window.
"In the history of this island, this is without a doubt the absolute worst thing that has ever happened at Enies Lobby!"
Eret looked down at the transponder snail began laughing.
Spandam had reached the window in his office and looked down towards the courthouse. He saw the roof was completely wrecked, and standing there was Burl.
"It's Burl," he said. "What's he doing out there on that rooftop? What's happening here and why now? What the hell is going on!?"
Burl was looking down at the hole in the floor. Just before his Tempest Kick hit, Hiccup had fired a plasma blast at the ground and sank through the hole, avoiding his attack. Hiccup then began pulling himself out of the hole, his head now back to normal.
"It's about time my face closed," said Hiccup.
"Of course, all open doors will eventually shut," said Burl. "I'm amazed that you still managed to dodge my Tempest Kick."
"I do a lot of barrel rolls in my dragon form, so spinning doesn't have that much effect on me," said Hiccup as he dusted himself down.
"How unsettling," said Burl and then vanished.
Hiccup took on his hybrid form and leaned back in time to avoid a kick and then tried to counter-attack with a punch of his own. Burl used his Moonwalk to bounce around in the sky with an incredible amount of speed.
"He's fast," said Hiccup.
"Finger Pistol!" Burl yelled as he felt towards him at an incredible speed sticking his finger out. Hiccup quickly jumped back to avoid it, and his finger went right through the stone roof. "Shave!" Burl then vanished before Hiccup could have a chance to counter-attack and appeared right behind him. "Iron Body!"
He then swung his fist down at Hiccup, dodged him again, and his fist smashed through the roof. Hiccup then quickly jumped back, raising his fist.
"Dragon Fist!" he yelled.
"Iron Body!" Burl yelled, swinging his fist.
Their two fists met and clashed, but Hiccup began pelting him with very quick blows forcing him on the defensive.
"Tempest Kick!" Burl yelled, swinging his leg.
Hiccup, however, knocked it aside with his tail, much to his surprise. Hiccup then used his tail like a springboard to put as much distance between the two of them. Also, knocking Burl leg away, he changed the direction of the kick, so the slash-cut through yet another battlement.
'Completely keeping up with my speed,' said Burl looking troubled. 'He even changed the course of my Tempest Kick. His physical abilities are unbelievable.'
"It's no good," said Hiccup.
Burl frowned at him.
"I can't stay like this; it won't work," Hiccup continued. "When I lost to Asmund, I realised something. I said to myself, if you keep running into guys that are stronger and stronger unless you can get stronger too, you can't protect your friends. Not all of them are strong like me, but either way, they are my friends, and I want to keep them. So I have to get stronger than anyone else; otherwise, there is a chance that I can lose them."
"Then what are you going to do?"
"I thought of a new way to fight with all my might so that I won't lose anyone," said Hiccup and then began transforming.
At first, it looked like he was transforming to his hybrid form, but it was completely different than before. The body looks far more streamlined in the wings were slightly shorter, and he wasn't as large.
"So I won't let anyone slip away from me," said Hiccup.
Burl frowned. 'What's happening? His human-animal form is different than before.'
"You won't be able to stop me now," said Hiccup looking directly at him.
"What?" Burl stared.
"In this for my speed and techniques have taken another step. Night Fury: Broadwing Mode!"
