"I said no. I said no." Amanda continued mumbling, those being the only words she had spoken in the last 20 minutes and Olivia Benson was growing more concerned by the minute. "Hey, baby. Can you talk to me?" She inquired gently, not touching her, knowing she was close to a major meltdown.
"i said no." She said immediately and Olivia's heart shattered once more. "I know, sweetheart." She whispered, opening her arms in invitation, letting Amanda decide when she wanted to be touched. "Said no. Said no. Didn't want it." She suddenly screamed, a fist coming up and hitting the side of her head, over and over and Olivia winced, hating what she had to do, knowing her next move could send her detective spiraling into a more self harming form of stimming.
"Hey, angel. Let's not do that. You're hurting yourself." She said tenderly but with a current of worry in her tone as well, gently taking the blonde's wrist, sighing when she immediately began repeatedly hitting her head into the wall behind her, her words tapering off into unintelligible screaming.
"Hey, shh. Baby, stop that. We aren't doing that." She said, pulling her into a hug, and taking a seat on the floor, starting up a slight rocking motion, knowing it calmed her in times like these. "Said no." She signed, now just tapping her temple slightly, her rocking finally beginning to slow and after a few more pressure squeezes, Olivia gently let go but kept her arms around her.
"I know you did. I know." She cooed, pressing a kiss to her head and sighing when her detective shifted closer and tightened her grip, not wanting to let go.
"Amanda, baby, can we go home? I promise I'll hold you as soon as we get there." She questioned a few minutes later when she felt the blonde going heavy in her arms.
"No. Stay here." She whispered, wrapping her arms around Olivia's waste and tucking her head against the brunette's chest and she sighed, knowing she needed to be patient.
"Ok, angel." She cooed lovingly, slowly beginning to rock once more, prepared to stay like this for as long as she needed.
