The elegant yet sinister looking lion looked down on the two young woman standing beneath the large boulder he was standing on top of. The girl recoiled slightly, gritting her teeth.
"Scar…" she snarled angrily.
"Wait did that lion just talk!," Ruby exclaimed "and you know it's name! what is going on here."
"Yes that is something I like to know too. I don't recall meeting you little girl" Scar noted condescendingly as he stared down at the two woman.
"Oh but I've met you! What are you doing here so far from Pride Rock!" the girl yelled at him. A sly grin grew along Scar's face. Barely did Ruby have time to react as she clutched her snowboard in her hand and Scar leaped from above at her, knocking both of them away and rolling down the mountain.
"Aunt Ruby!" the girl yelled as she turned, armed and ready to go after the pair as they tumbled down the mountain.
"Aaarghh!" she yelled out in pain as she felt herself being pulled backwards by her hair and flung to the ground, knocking the breath out of her and this was soon followed up as the heel of a black boot stomped on her chest, knocking the wind even more out of her.
A red tinted blade was inches removed from her face, with its wielder looking down on her with a scowl.
"Found you!" Raven Branwen said ominously.
The girl's eyes widened as she got a good look at the woman standing literally on top of her. First there was a slight surprise on her face, which slowly but surely turned into a smirk.
"Yes indeed you have found me, bravo to you. Say how's Henry doing? Not too hurt I hope" the girl said with an obnoxious tone.
Raven just scowled further, pressing the side of the blade on the girl's cheek, an action that somehow didn't face her.
"Who are you? And how did you get into the Upside Down!" Raven demanded to know.
The girl couldn't hear the skirmish or struggle of Ruby and Scar tumbling down the mountain anymore, and she could barely look around to confirm whether or not one of the two was still alive.
"You seriously don't recognize me! Geez! I know you're a deadbeat mom and all but come on!"
Frustration slowly boiled inside Raven as she pulled back the sword and seized the girl by the collar of her shirt and slammed her into a nearby ice rock, still holding tightly onto her and looking into her deep clear blue eyes.
"You do look familiar. But we'll find out soon enough once I take you back to the Collective. We will find out who you are and how you managed to sneak into Henry's realm!"
"Never!," the girl spat angrily "the Collective ruined my life! I will never go back or allow you to take me there."
Raven looked puzzled "what are you talking about! We don't even know who you are!" she yelled out to the captured woman, looking her over. The girl placed her left hand on the surface of the ice rock she was being held up against. Raven's eyes glanced over as suddenly a symbol appeared on the surface.
"Wait is that?" but before she could finish a blinding light struck her backwards and she closed her eyes as the light was too blinding.
The girl moved forward and tackled Raven to the ground in that moment. Quickly grabbing a vial from her pouch, an orange substance residing inside it. She raised her hand in the air.
"Not so fast!"
The girl turned around as Scar pounced on top of her and knocked her to the ground once more, pinning her hand with the vial down with his paw, his nails digging into her frail arm.
If she was hurting she didn't let it show as the feline crept closer to her face. "So you said you know me? Please do tell I'm intrigued?" Scar asked.
"I know that you killed your own brother and nephew for the sake of power! And that the Collective helped you do it!" the girl shouted angrily.
Raven stood up from the ground hearing the girl say these words. How could she have possibly known this? The dealings of the Collective where unknown to everyone except for its most inner circle….there is no way this girl could know that unless…
"So…you know my little secret" Scar said baring his teeth to the girl.
"I know that and more. And I also know unlike what your poor nephew went through, who thought he could trust you…I know my aunt will protect me!"
With that a flurry of rose petals suddenly appeared behind Scar. So fast that neither he nor Raven had any time to react as Ruby appeared with Crescent Rose in hand and swung it towards Scar, who was grabbed by the scythe before Ruby flung him far away in the air. The beast screamed as he crashed into a nearby ice rock, shattering it into the process and tumbling down the mountain.
Raven's eyes looked up at the silver-eyed red haired girl…like she was seeing a ghost.
"Summer…"
Ruby looked at her as well, uncertain about what she meant. But before she could respond, the girl threw down the vial down on the ground, an orange cloud of smoke appearing in front of them. Raven stepped backwards as she heard a sound in the distance. She grabbed her blade and swung it around in an attempt to dissipate the smoke. And as it disappeared, both women where gone and Raven stood there angrily scowling.
"Damnit…well at least this may provide us with some answers" Raven said as she opened her right hand, in it a few strands of blonde hair. She sighed to herself in annoyance as she began walking around the glacier in search of her feline companion.
A/N: So the story continued, once again apologies for the delays but deciding to split the story up into more parts have caused me to think about where to take everything next, mainly doing more crossover based stories with Stranger Things, Marvel, Arcane…which I technically already do but to make them even more pronounced. Like focusing on characters from those universes instead of the RWBY cast and have most of them, primarily Weiss and Jaune take a backseat for now. With Qrow and Megumi working together under there own organization to counter the Collective, there are a lot of stories that can work with that. So I will need to see. What do you guys think? Do you have any solid ideas, feel free to let me know you always have some wonderful ideas.
