Once they get to his place Shota again helps Elly into the wheelchair and wheels her. Before they even walk in the door she can smell the soba. Once they walk in Elly's, bombarded by Snowball and Shadow. They both jumped on her lap and luckily for her Recovery Girl helped her into some normal clothes before she left.
"Hey guys!" She says petting them as Shota takes her backpack from her wheelchair and sets it on the coffee table in the living room.
"Merow~" Shadow says stretching."
"Haha. You guys hungry?" She asks.
"I already fed them." Hizashi says.
"Ok." Is all she says while gently putting them down
Then they both seem to notice her cast and they smell it and rub their scents on it.
Then after removing a chair where Elly normally sits Shota wheels her to the table.
"Thanks." She says while Hizashi puts a giant pot of cooked soba on the table. Then puts plates and chopsticks.
After they're all sitting and the food is served, Aizawa lets them eat for a few minutes before making his announcement.
Hizashi looks at him and Shota gives a small nod that Elly doesn't notice.
"Elly…" He says putting down his chopsticks which Hizashi has already done.
She puts down her own and swallows the food in her mouth before saying, "Y-yes?.."
Shota gets up and grabs something from his room and sits back down staring at the envelope.
Elly sees it and immediately starts to internally panic and it shows on her face.
Shota takes her hand and gives it a squeeze. "It's nothing bad I promise." He says calmly.
She nods and he takes his hand away and starts to open the folder.
"I- umm…" He says slowly retrieving the papers inside and he looks to Hizashi for help and he gives him an enthusiastic nod towards Shota and he looks back at Elly slowly putting the papers next to her while he says,
"I was hoping that you'll let me adopt you…" He says nervously now having the papers right next to her and she looks shocked and looks between both men then back at the papers then back to Aizawa.
"I umm already signed the papers all I have to do is send them in. But, of corse if you don't want me to-" Elly interrupts.
"I-I w-want-t y-you t-to. " She says, crying. Shota gets up and asks,
"Why are you crying?" while he squatted down in front of her.
"B-bec-cau-se y-you t-took-k a-a ch-ch-an-ce o-on m-me…" She says sniffling.
Shota starts crying as well. "Of course I would. And now look, you made me cry too." He says smiling and he wipes his face on his sleeve and uses his thumbs to wipe her tears and she leans forward and hugs him and says,
"Th-thank-k y-you. -hiccup. I-I l-lo-v-ve y-yo-u d-da-d-d!"
"He's shocked but says, "I love you too kiddo."
"Aww~" Hizashi whispers. He took a video of the whole thing to show Nemuri later. And so he can look back on it whenever.

A while later she text's Todoroki.

-"Hey. I have some exciting news!"-
Todoroki looks over to his phone after it lets a soft ding and mumbles the text he received.
Todoroki ❄️🔥 7:00 P.M
-"Ur not supposed to b using ur phone. But, wut is it?"-
Elly 👻👀🐺 7:00 P.M
-"Can we ft?"- She texts back ignoring the 1st part.
Todoroki ❄️🔥 7:00 P.M
-"Ok?"- He answers. Then presses the video button and she answers immediately, not even letting it ring all the way.
*"So, wassup?"* He asks, taking mental note that she looks much better.
She takes a few deep breaths in and out before saying, *"ImGettingAdopted!"* so quickly that he barely understood what she said.
*"Whoa! Slow down Elly. I barely heard you."*
*"Sorry."* She starts. *"It's just… I'm getting adopted!"*
*"Really? By who?"* He asks, wondering if this was what Recovery Girl meant by 'are you going to tell her later?'
*"Mr. Aizawa. Earlier I called him dad and he didn't even get mad."*
*"Wow. I'm happy for you."*
*"Thanks. It's really exciting!"*
*"Mhm."* He hums.
*"Oh, hey!"* He says. *"Are you going to school tomorrow?"*
*"Lemme ask."* She says opening her messages and text's Shota,

-"Hey dad am I going 2 skol tmrw?"-
Shota's phone dings and he pulls it out as Hizashi reads over his shoulder.
When he sees the dad part he lets himself smile. He likes the she calls him dad it makes him feel warm inside. He unlocks his phone knowing Hizashi already knows his password in case of emergency and texts her back.

-"No, not for 2 days just to be safe. Also, let me guess Todoroki was wondering?"-

-"Erm… yea…"-

-"Mhm. I figured. Well you can tell him if he wants he can come by in the morning or afternoon to stop in. Also work on your spelling."-

-"Right and I'm not your friend I'm your parent so don't do that with me. Or else I;ll give you more homework and have Hizashi give you homework as well. (¬_¬ )"-
Elly ️ ️ 7:05 P.M
-"Ok dad. Sorry. (¬_¬")"-
And he left it at. That proud of himself.
*"Sooo…~?"* Shoto asks seeing the annoyed look.
*"No."* She says with a bit of attitude. *"He say that I have to stay home for two day. 'Just to be safe.'"* She says sarcastically puting air quotes with one of her hands.
*"Well I mean you did hit your head, hard if I may add, and twice, got the wind knocked out of you, got a pretty bad concussion, passed out, got first degree burns, AND,"* he says loudly and pausing, for dramatic effect. *"got a broken leg in the mix of it as well."*
*"If we lived together I would honestly do the same."* He says without shame not realizing how he worded it until he saw her red face.
*"W-wait t-that's not how I meant it! I meant like if you were my kid! Er… uh…"* He grones rubbing a hand down his face.
*"I'mma just stop talking for now."* he mumbles into his hand with his eyes closed.
She giggles and after a few minutes he says,
*"Hang on a min. You never answered my question properly~"* He says looking at her through the camera with a giant cat-like smirk on his face.
*"Umm… What question?"* She asks pretending she'll get away with it
*"Ah, ah, ah~."* He says. *"You know exactly what I mean, Elly."*
*"Umm… Do I? I mean I did hit my head pretty hard…"* She says still trying but failing miserably.
*"Elly~"* He says. And she grones.
*"UGGGHHH! FIIINNNNEEEE YES! HAPPY?!"* She says loudly but not yelling.
Shoto smirks. *"Very."* He comments with a bigger smirk and mischievous eyes.
*"Oh, no!"* She says and rubs a hand down her own face and adds, *"Why did I say yes…?"*
*"Because."* He state simply then says, *"Now, to figure out what to do with you~."*
*"I'mma die..."* She exaggerates.
He just laughs at her.
*"Don't worry, i'm sure it'll be fine!"* He says with genuine smile.
She flitches and a wave of panic washes over her and it's visible when he says that specific sentence. And he notices. Her mom had said the same sentence just merely minutes before the incident. (A/N: TW.)
*"Elly..?"*
She starts having flashbacks and starts shaking.
*"Elly?! Are you ok?!"*
Luckily even if he didn't know it but the door was cracked open just enough for a cat to slip in. Which one does, Shadow.
He jumps on her bed and tries to calm her. When he can't he jumps down and goes to the living room and starts meowing at Shota and Yamada.
*Elly talk to me! What's wrong?!"* Todoroki continues wondering what's going on.
"MEERRROOOOWWW~!" Shadow meows loudly interrupting the men's conversation.
"What is it Shadow?" Shota asks and the cat starts walking then stops to look at them and starts running to Elly's room.
Both he and Hizashi give each other a quick glance before getting up and running to her room.
Shota burst through the door and Hizashi stands right in the door frame. Shota sees Todoroki and asks,
"When did this start?" He asks sternly taking control of the situation
*"About 15 seconds ago."* He answers with worry evident in his voice.
"Ok. Thank you. I'll have you tomorrow if she's feeling up to it." He hangs up on him.
"Elly? Sweetheart look at me. Can you do that?" By now she's shaking vigorously and hyperventilating. She tries to look up at him. He holds her by the arms gently.
"Ok. Good." He starts calmly. "Now I want you to take a deep breath with me. In for 10 hold for 8 and out for 8. Alright?" She nods.
He lets her go and puts his hands in fists where she can see them. "In." He says then inhales as he counts and she follows along. He counts to 10. Then he counts to 8. Then they exale as he counts to 10 again. They keep doing this but decreasing the number by 1 until they reach 0.
She's also still shaking but not as bad. He hugs her and she sobs into his shoulder. He rubs sothing circles on her back while Hizashi starts to slowly come in as quietly as possible.
"Shhhh~ It's ok kiddo. I'm here." She grasps his shirt tightly as another round of sobs shakes her body.
After she's calmed down for the most part she losens her grip on Shota's shirt as mumbles, "S-so-orr-ry-y…" While sniffling.
"Shh~ don't be sorry that's what i'm here for."
He pets her head in between her wolf ears that are all the way down. And her tail is rapped arond herself.
"I think;" He starts. "I think it might be a good idea for you to see Hound Dog. He's a guidance counseler. I would have suggested it sooner but, I didn't want to force you, or make you feel obligated when you didn't want to…" He says gently.
She looks up at him slightly with big eyes. She looks as though she's contemplating. Then finally nods.
"Ok. I'll see if he can get you in tomorrow but, you still won't do any school work."
She buries her head back on his chest and nods.
He kisses her hair. "I promise, things WILL get better." He whispers quietly to her and continues to pet her head and rub her back.
She wimpers softly.
After a while she fell asleep in his arms. He gently laid her down and covered her up and turned her light out and left the door open.
"Poor kid…" Hizashi says as Shota joins him on the couch pulling out his phone to text Hound Dog.
As he does he answers his friend, "Yea… I feel so bad I wish there's more I could have done. She literally has no one left…"
"Mhm…" Yamada hums. "But, on the bright side your going to be a good father."
"Ha." He laughs sarcastically looking up to the ceiling. Then he turns his head to his left where his bestfriend sits and asks, "You really think?" while putting his phone on the coffee table.
"Of course Shota! If I know you your going to make a great father! I mean c'mon those students are like your kids!"
"Hmm but, I wouldn't kick my kids out." He retorts back.
"We both know why you expelled or moved them to Gen Ed" He says right back. "PLUS~ you did say they're different this year~! AND~! You haven't expelled anyone yet!" He adds cheerfully and exaggerating some words.
"Yet." Shota says in a monotonous voice.
"So what did Ryo say by the way?" Hizashi says switching the subject which Shota is grateful for.
"He said that he can get her in tomorrow and hour before the kid's lunch." He states.
"Ok. that's nice of him."
In Elly's room she's tossing and turning trough a nightmare. And says, "No! No! P-ple-ase! S-sto-p-p!"
This keeps on for a while but it wasn't that audible until she screams.
Shota jumps up and races to her room with Hizashi right on his heels. He went strait for her bed while Yamada turns the light on.
"Elly? Elly wake up." He says gently and lightly shakes her.
She wakes up sitting up right and screams,
"AHHH~!"
Shota grabs her and holds her tight. "Shhh~ It's ok I'm right here…" He and Hizashi share a look of concern as she buries her face in his chest sobbing. He rubs her back soothingly.
After who knowa how long.
"C-can-n y-yo-ou s-sta-ay-y w-wit-h m-me-e?" She asks meekly still face buried against him.
He looks at Hizashi then looks back to her and gently lifts her head while giving the warmest smile and says,
"Of course kiddo. Just gimmie a few minutes he says." She nods slowly letting him go.
He carefully gets up and slowly walks out with Hizashi and goes to his room to get his stuff as they talk in hushed tones.
"I know it may not be my place to say;" Yamada starts quietly which still surprises Shota every now and again on how quiet his normally VERY LOUD friend could be.
Shota raises an eyebrow signling Yamada to continue on.
"But, don't you think it'd be good for her if she could take one of the cats or be with someone she 100% trusts, maybe see a psychiatrist too?" He says lowly.
"I don't know anymore Yamada." He says softly and rubs a hand down his face before saying, "Well the cats aren't trained to be out in public places. You know this. As for the other two reasons…" He pauses contemplating on what to say next When Hizashi speaks up,
"I only mentioned the first two because we can't be around her 24/7. And the last because it might be better for her to open up to someone she doesn't know, someone who doesn't know her past and someone she feels won't judge her. Yes, I know we don't judge her but she may feel that way…" He finishes quietly in a matter of fact way.
Shota contemplates for a moment before saying, about the frist two like I said Shadow and Snowball aren't trained to be outside the home. As for someone who can watch over her when we can't, well I don't know… She'd probably feel more comfortable if it was someone her own age…"
"What about Todoroki?" Hizashi throws in the suggestion knowing full well that the dual hair boy and the sensitive girl are both head over heels for one another.
"No. Besides, he has his own life even if he does love her." He says continuing to talk low.
"And to that last suggestion, it's best to see what happens with Hound Dog first and then if he recommends someone outside of U.A so be it. But, till then let's just have her get used to him." He finishes in a low monotonous voice picking up his stuff.
Hizashi nods. "Well I should go, I'll tell the little listener good night and then leave."
They both walk in and Elly's sitting up with the cats in her lap, petting them and she looks up at them.
Hizashi steps over to her and says, "Well it's time I take my leave, I hope you have a good night and sweet dreams." He says ruffling her hair.
"B-by-ye Z-za-ash-i…" She says attempting to smile and he grins widely.
"Bye little listener!" Bye Sho!" He says enthusiastically.
"Mhm. Bye… Make sure you lock the door." He calls.
"Will do~!" He shouts back leaving and locking the door.
When Shota grabbed his things that also included his laptop he already graded papers at school. He wants to research some things, and one of those is the incident that happened to Elly.
