Astrid was utterly exhausted, but rest would have to wait as Heather, along with Toothless and Snotlout, were in serious trouble. She made her way over to the unconscious Lily and retrieved her key, but then noticed the number engraved on it was number seven.
"Not number two," she frowned. "I better go and help Fishlegs; I'm really concerned about that noise I heard earlier."
She then quickly ran out of the training room as quickly as she could.
Kala was now facing five Fishlegs', and the illusions were so perfect she could determine which was the real one.
"So this mirage trick of yours, only one of you is actually real?" she said.
"You got it," said Fishlegs. "There's only one me; the other four are nothing more than illusions. Distorted reflection from the freezing air."
Kala chuckled. "Simple illusions, huh? That is quite a mysterious and elegant tactic. Regardless, I fail to see how something that consists of thin air can pose any threat to me. So, in other words, deceptive misdirection must be your goal."
"Well, aren't you smart?"
"You've got some confidence there, but ill do you know good at all."
"Thunder Charge!" Fishlegs yelled, and he began channelling a large amount of electricity to his palms, and the illusions followed his example. "Only one of the five figures before you is the real me."
"Obviously, your point?" Kala asked.
Fishlegs smiled. "You'll see… Thunder Ball!"
Fishlegs and his illusions then began firing above our job Thunder Balls at Kala.
"Only 20 per cent of these Thunder Ball attacks are the real deal," Fishlegs explained. "Good luck dodging them."
Kala quickly realised that she was in trouble. 'Damnit, but which ones? I need to guard my—'
Then, she was struck by one of the real Thunder Balls, and she screamed in anguish as electricity coursed through her body.
"100 per cent real power, though," Fishlegs smiled. "I did warn you that your arrogance is reckless."
Kala fell to her knees, her entire body smouldering from the attack, but she was not out of the game just yet.
"You just got hit with the new and improved Clima-Gauntlets; a single Thunder Ball attack is that powerful," said Fishlegs. "The next attack will be stronger, and it's going to end this."
"That is a rather bold promise," said Kala getting back onto her feet. "And you say that I'm arrogant."
"Oh, it's not a promise; it's a forecast," said Fishlegs. "I would have for you would have realised this by now that the weather inside this room is under my control." He then placed his palms together once more and began forming a thunder cloud.
"I don't see how that's going to make any difference for you," said Kala narrowing her eyes. "Since I'm still a master of the Six Powers." She then vanished and reappeared behind the Fishlegs in the middle. "Now behave!"
She then kicked at Fishlegs, but her leg went straight through them as this was merely an illusion.
"What? That was a fake?" she stared.
"You've only got a 20 per cent chance of finding the real me," said Fishlegs.
Kala then continued striking at each and every one of the Fishlegs, but all the ones she struck were nothing more than illusions. She then turned to the last remaining Fishlegs, who had put as much distance between the two of them as possible.
"In today's forecast, although we have a stable pressure system, you should be on the lookout for small storm clouds and violent winds," Fishlegs warned. "And there's a 100 per cent chance of a strong bolt of lightning piercing your chest." He then created more illusions of himself just like before. "You can expect paralysis at the heart to follow shortly after. Dark Cloud Tempo!"
"I've already shown you how easily I can protect myself against lightning," Kala reminded him. "What makes you think that it will work now?"
"Although that shell of yours may be good for blocking, you can't move at all when you're using it," said Fishlegs remembering her defensive technique vividly.
"You don't take me seriously; you really think that you can puncture my Soap Shell with an attack?" said Kala narrowing her eyes. "Well then… Soap Sheep!" She then quickly conjured up her veil bubbles around her. "I don't need to find the real you to win this battle; I'll just dredge everything in the room with the wave of my relaxing bubbles."
Fishlegs braced himself for her attack.
"Sheep Cloud: Tidal Wave!" she yelled.
Suddenly a huge tidal wave of bubbles erupted from her and spanned across the entire room, and they were now making their way towards Fishlegs.
"I'm a goner if I get hit by that again," said Fishlegs putting his hands together.
"Clearly, the real you will be the one left riding on the floor," said Kala confidently.
"Do you think I'm going to let that happen?" Fishlegs yelled and then immediately fired a tornado from his palms into the Tidal Wave, and the illusions followed his movements. "Cyclone Tempo!"
The tornadoes struck the Tidal Wave; it created a small opening large enough for a person to run through.
"He's blowing the bubbles back with wind?" she stared.
Fishlegs quickly made a break for it, but Kala smiled. The Tidal Wave struck the Fishlegs' before they could run through it. However, one was able to get through the opening, who had to be the real Fishlegs.
"I'll assume the one that's still running for his precious life is the real one," Kala smiled.
Fishlegs came to a stop, but she had disappeared and then seconds later, she appeared right in front of him.
"Finger Pistol!" Kala yelled before Fishlegs could react.
Her finger pierced Fishlegs' left shoulder, and he winced in pain as he grasped his wounded shoulder.
"Well, I'll be," Kala smiled. "I guess you're not just another illusion. I'm done playing this game; I'm going to feel you with more holes than a pair of my fishnet stockings."
Fishlegs was on his knees and wincing due to the pain in his shoulder. "You weren't listening to me earlier, were you? You have to be a fool to disregard and navigators forecast."
Kala then heard something directly behind her; she turned her head and saw the storm cloud that Fishlegs had created earlier was still there. She quickly realised that Fishlegs had been diverted her attention towards him, making her forget all about it.
"A thunderbolt will burst from the clouds and connect with the Clima-Gauntlets," said Fishlegs raising his palms, and electricity began to form around them. "Now…"
The storm cloud then grew in size.
"Not again," said Kala.
A bolt of lightning then immediately shot out from the cloud and pierced her chest as it connected with Fishlegs' gauntlets.
"Thunder Lance Tempo!" Fishlegs yelled.
Kala was not out cold instantly and fell to the ground with smoke pouring out of her mouth.
"You might be remarkably strong, but I can predict the weather, and I'm never wrong," said Fishlegs looking back at her. "My friends are waiting for me; I'll be taking you're key now."
It was at that point that Astrid arrived, and she looked around at the wrecked bathroom before her eyes laid upon the unconscious Kala.
"Looks like you didn't need my help after all," said Astrid.
"Astrid, I take it that you won your fight," Fishlegs assumed.
"Barely, but a win is a win, and I got the key," Astrid smiled, holding out her key and then looked around at the destruction. "But I say you two went all-out, rumours completely wrecked."
"Wasn't me; that was Chopper."
"What?" Astrid blinked.
Eret, meanwhile, had been following Chopper's path as he climbed up the Tower.
"Son of a bitch," Eret moaned as he continued to climb. He then looked at the courthouse then suddenly heard the sound of thunder. "This entire place is coming apart at the seams; I hope that everyone is okay."
The Marines had completely abandoned Galley Law and the Eret Family in the courthouse.
"Take us with us, you worthless Marines! Come on, you just can't leave it here to die like this!"
Palme just sat there completely calm as everyone was struggling to free themselves from the ropes.
At the same time, Toothless and Snotlout were trying to fend off Silvernose and Jabez, not easy when the two of them were handcuffed together.
Jabez swung his claws at them, and they quickly jumped back to avoid his attacks.
"Tempest Kick: Sky Slicer!" Silvernose yelled, spinning on his hand and unleashing a powerful slashing attack.
Toothless and Snotlout were able to jump over the attack, but there was no denying that they couldn't keep this up for much longer.
"Where are you, Chopper!" Snotlout cried.
Chopper was a lot closer than he thought, as he was now headed towards them on pure animal instinct.
Ragnar was also still battling against Gunner tried to use every advantage he could to get the upper hand. He was currently hiding behind a table with both pistols in hand, and he heard the commotion going on outside.
'I didn't like the sound of that rambling earlier, just what is going on out there?' Ragnar frowned.
"You only have been. You keep hiding!" Gunner yelled and immediately fired at the table.
"I'm just letting you catch your breath, but if you want to get beaten down so badly, I'm game."
"I like your moxie, but you should know when you've lost. I've got the home-court advantage, and I am far better trained. I see you have very little chance of beating the or any member of CP9."
"Let's test that theory then!" said Ragnar jumped over the table.
Spandam was still dragging Heather a spiral staircase towards the bridge, and then the entire place shook. Heather used this opportunity to shop him to one side and began running back down the stairs.
"Get back here!" Spandam demanded, but she completely ignored him. "I said stop, Heather Owson!"
Hiccup was still in the storage facility clashing fists with Lael, but he seemed to be overpowering him so far. Just now, he had been sent flying into a crate, and Lael just stood there brushing the dust off his suit.
Hiccup then immediately dashed forwards and began swinging fists, kicked and his tail at Lael. However, he merely used his Paper Art technique and dodged each and every one of the attacks. Hiccup then came charging in, swinging his fist, and Lael swung his fist, causing the two of them to clash.
Both of them were able to hold their ground, but Lael then kicked Hiccup so hard he sent him flying across the room. Hiccup then charged at him once more tried overpowering speed, but Lael was just as fast, blocking his attacks flawlessly.
Hiccup, however, surprised him by opening his jaw and narrowly avoiding getting his head chewed off. Lael then quickly countered by kicking him across the face and then quickly used the Shaved technique to get close and grab him. Then by using all his strength, he tossed him onto the ground, and he skidded into yet more crates.
Lael then brushed his finger against his face and discovered that Hiccup had been successful in scratching him, judging from the blood on his finger. He then looked up into his surprise saw that Hiccup was charging at him once more.
Hiccup, this time, flapped his wings to get the height advantage and began swinging his feet down upon him. Lael blocked it and managed to duck in time to avoid Hiccup's tail and once again kicked him across the face.
Hiccup, however, used the momentum to get closer to the door that would lead him to Heather.
"Go it," he said.
Lael, however, used the shaved technique and appeared right in front of him before he could grasp the door. He then kicked into the chest, knocking the wind out of him and then slammed his fist into his chest, sending him flying across the other side of the room.
Lael stood there and saw the crates were moving, indicating that Hiccup was still very much alive. Hiccup then burst free from the crates, though he didn't look quite exhausted, and Lael merely smiled.
Eret, meanwhile, had finally reached the bathroom and pulled himself into the giant hole that Chopper had made.
"Deer gorilla, bring it on!" he said.
"Eret? What the… what are you doing climbing the wall?" Fishlegs blinked.
"I don't want to get into it," Eret panted. "That rampaging beefed up deer gorilla come through this way?"
"Deer what?" Astrid frowned. "Do you mean Chopper?"
"I guess I just call him deer gorilla," Eret shrugged.
"I saw him, but what the heck happened to him?" Fishlegs asked. "We've never seen him like that before."
"Got me, I was going to ask you the same thing," said Eret. "He can't usually transform like that?"
"Fishlegs told me what happened, but this is the first time this has happened to him as far as we know," said Astrid.
"That's not good; I was hoping that you might have some experience dealing with him," said Eret. "No other choice, guess we just have to kill him."
That earned him a blow from Astrid. "You ever say anything like that again, and I'll have no choice but to kill you!"
"Okay, sure, never again, message received," said Eret rubbing the bump on his head. "Killing is off the table, but we still have to stop them somehow. I think it would be a bad idea if we let him keep on rampaging. I don't think this tower will last very long if he does."
"Good point, but he doesn't seem like he's willing to have a conversation, though," said Astrid.
"Yeah, he didn't look as if he recognised me earlier," said Fishlegs. "I think he lost his memory and is just acting on animal impulse."
"So, what do you think could have caused this?" Eret asked.
"My best guess it has something to do with his transformations and all those experiments he's been doing," Fishlegs theorised. "If that's the case, then it has something to do with his Devil Fruit powers."
"If that's what's going on here, then I might just have a solution after all," said Eret, and then he turned his eyes to the unconscious Kala. "By the way, nice work in here. I'm impressed you were able to take her down."
"Fishlegs deserves all the credit, but I also took down a member of CP9, that musclebound lady," said Astrid and held out her key. "She was more than generous to depart with this."
"So either you have the number two key?" Eret asked.
"We're in luck because I have it," said Fishlegs holding out his key.
"Then we better get that to Toothless and Snotlout and fast," said Astrid.
Toothless and Snotlout was still playing cat and mouse with Silvernose and Jabez, and now it felt as if they were being pushed into the corner.
"I'm somewhat impressed that they had been able to hold out this long," said Jabez.
"That's mostly thanks to your bundling," said Slivernose. "Honestly, you make the entire team look bad."
"Hey, you made your share of mistakes in case you forgot," Jabez growled. "You're completely inflexible because you're so uptight."
"There's nothing wrong in taking things seriously!"
"There is when he is tall as a damn giraffe and jokes go over your head, you longnecked loser!"
The two of them grounded one another, and it really did look as if they were about to fight one another.
"Man, those two really don't like each other," said Snotlout. "Maybe low start fighting each other instead of fighting us."
"We'll settle this one later," said Silvernose and turned his attention back to the two of them.
"Yeah, the Buster Call is fast approaching, after all," Jabez agreed.
"And we've already wasted enough time here as it is."
"Let's just put our differences aside for the time being."
"We can argue after we kill them," they said in unison.
"Can't we all just calm down?" Snotlout asked.
"We are calm!" they said.
"Tempest Kick!" Silvernose yelled and began spinning around.
Toothless and Snotlout held their ground is joined. We win struck them from the spin, but Snotlout suddenly found himself being lifted off his feet.
Jabez saw this and immediately pounced. "Finger Pistol!"
"Watch out!" Toothless yelled, quickly jumping back before the attack struck them.
"Finger Pistol!" Silvernose yelled, thrusting his finger at them, but Toothless quickly spun around and blocked it with his sword.
"Getting real serious now and done toying with us," said Toothless.
"Shave!" they said, and they vanished.
The two of them quickly jumped back just as they reappeared behind them and tried to strike them down with a Finger Pistol. They were able to avoid Jabez's attack, but they were nearly crushed by Silvernose's attack and would have been killed they hadn't jumped at the way just in the nick of time.
"We're in big trouble here; we don't have time to wait for that key," said Toothless. "We need to get these cut-offs right now."
"And how do you plan on doing that?" Snotlout asked.
"By cutting off one of our arms," said Toothless simply.
Snotlout then began to panic. "Chopper, where the hell are you? Save me, I'm important!"
Then suddenly bursting through the wall was Chopper, catching everyone by surprise.
"It's another giant monster!" Snotlout yelled.
"How many of these Zoan type power holders have they got on this damn island?" Toothless groaned.
"Wait, you sure that another CP9 agent?" Snotlout frowned. "He looks kind of familiar for some reason."
That's when they both noticed Chopper's hat.
"What? Chopper?" they stared.
Chopper then roared and began chasing after them.
"No, Chopper, it's us!" Toothless yelled as they ran.
"Please, Chopper, don't kill me!" Snotlout pleaded.
Chopper swung his hand down at them, but they were able to jump out of the way in time.
"How do we know that thing really is Chopper? Why the hell does he recognise us?" Toothless asked.
"I've got no idea!" Snotlout yelled. "But that is Chopper; who else has antlers and wears a hat like that?"
"What are we supposed to do here? You think that he has the key?"
"No, not that it matters. Let's face it, we're going to die!"
"I don't know something doesn't seem right," Toothless frowned as he looked at Chopper closely. Chopper was feeling rather heavily, and he looked worn out. "He looks like that he's the one about to keel over and die. It seems like all the life is being sucked right out of him."
"Well? What's wrong with him?"
"I have no idea, but being in that form must use an enormous amount of energy."
"So then what, huh? How are we supposed to help him like this?" Snotlout asked, gesturing to the cuffs. "And what about those two?" Gesturing to Silvernose and Jabez, who were directly behind them. "And where is the key? Where is the damn key?"
"I don't know about the key, but I can guess what happened to him," said Toothless. "He probably put his life on the line fight and get someone incredibly strong. And when it still wasn't enough, he turned into that."
"And now?" Snotlout whimpered.
"Who is this enormous beast, and why do you see you're interrupting our fight, especially when the Buster Call is right around the corner?" Silvernose asked.
"He's a damn pain, must be part of their dumbass crew," Jabez assumed.
"If they're in our way…"
"…then we'll eliminate them."
"He looks a bit sick," Silvernose noted.
"Then that just makes him easier prey," Jabe laughed.
"They're going after Chopper!" said Snotlout.
"Not on my watch," said Toothless as he raised his sword. "36 Calibre Phoenix!"
He then swung his sword, unleashing a slashing attack upon the two of them, but they were able to jump out of the way.
"You bastard!" Silvernose growled.
"Step aside, you guys!" said Eret's voice.
They quickly turned and saw Eret standing in the hole in the wall that Chopper had made.
"It's you," said Toothless and saw that he was performing a fighting stance while facing Chopper. "Whoa, wait! What do you think you're doing? That deer monster is on our side!"
"I know what I'm doing, shut up and move," said Eret. He then looked back at Chopper. "This is the only way to deal with him. Power holders have one weakness, I'll knock him into the sea. Sorry, pal, but this is for your own good."
He then placed his hands together, and his forearms began to expand. "Coup De Vent!"
He then blasted Chopper with a powerful air cannon, hitting him with so much force that he went straight through the wall outside. Eret then immediately charged at him and jumped after him.
"That's the last straw, Eret!" Snotlout yelled. "You're not going to get away with this! Nobody treats my friends that way!"
"It's okay, guys," said Astrid as she and Fishlegs arrived. "We came up with this plan together."
Now both Eret and Chopper were now falling and landed into the sea. The moment he touched the water, Chopper reverted back to his human form, and Eret swam after him.
Up in the garden, both Silvernose and Jabez was still confused about what had just happened.
"Why are they attacking their own crew?" Jabez asked. "Doesn't even make any sense."
"I don't know; they're really getting on my nerves, though," said Silvernose.
They then heard something hit the ground behind and turned to discover that both Toothless and Snotlout had removed their cuffs.
Silvernose smiled. "You finally managed to free yourselves, huh?"
"You had better stop laughing and start running," Toothless advised. "You blew your only chance to kill me, and you're not getting another. It's my turn, and I'm taking you all down… the entire World Government."
