AN: For whatever reason, I decided to revisit this old thing. Updated as of 17/04/2021, thanks to Thotha.
A battlecruiser was parked near a green star in space sector 1603, its solar panels soaking in the verdant light. The cylindrical ship was massive - four kilometers long, one kilometer in both height and width. It was built out of slate-grey steel, with scorch marks on a few places across the surface. At the tip of the ship was a nasty-looking laser cannon.
The owner's quarters were located at the bow of the ship. There sat Diana on her throne, a smirk on her face while she gazed over the infinite stars through the large ceiling window. Her current outfit was a simple pair of black pants and a red tube-top adorned with a golden W.
"Mistress, the generator and engines are at full power," a light voice spoke from the left side speakers, snapping her from her musings.
Diana considered it for a moment. "Check the sector map and give me a full report."
A few minutes passed before a response. "All seventy-four known systems are at peace, as of last month's check. We haven't discovered any new ones."
Diana frowned at that. "What about sector 1604?"
Another pause passed. "All fifty-two are at peace."
Perhaps another, Diana thought. "What about sector 540?"
A long moment passed. "All thirty-one are at peace."
"Sector 3250?" Diana continued.
"Mistress, I am afraid that the answer won't change," the minion informed her.
Diana smiled wistfully. "I suppose that's good enough for now. Return us to Apokolips."
The Boom Tube flared open, in the form of radiant concentric circles, and the cruiser emerged near the hellish planet. Diana gave her world a fond look, then stood up and took her Mother Box.
Down on the planet, in their magnificently intimidating castle, Darkseid was chillin' on his couch, his mind wandering from topic to topic. The dark lord gave no reaction to the Boom Tube that opened up in the living room.
"Welcome home, my queen," Darkseid greeted evenly as Diana strode out of the glowing portal.
"Good to be here, my king," Diana answered. "Truth be known, I feel very bored. Do you have any ideas for fun?"
Darkseid arched his stony brow. "You could try challenging Hope's End."
Diana gave a curious look. "I'm not familiar with that one."
"The Sangtee Empire is the dominant power in sector 1462. Hope's End is one of their prison planets, supposedly a fierce environment," Darkseid exposited.
"Sounds familiar. I made them a vassal state eighty years ago, didn't I?" Diana asked.
"Perhaps," Darkseid said, indifferently. "I suppose you have already considered a leisure trip?"
"Indeed. I have just returned from stargazing," Diana replied. "Incidentally, do we have some universe-bridging device somewhere that I've yet to hear about?"
"Two centuries, Diana," he pointed out.
She supposed that was true.
"I have considered expanding into other dimensions before, and I believe it best to focus on securing our rule over this universe first."
"Sensible as always," Diana commended. After a moment's silence, a grin broke out on her face. "Care to guess what I'm thinking?"
Darkseid stood up. Diana reached down to the hem of her tube-top, removing the garment. The narration decided to space out what followed.
These two had a level of stamina beyond what virtually all mortal beings could match, which could well be called divine. This trait allowed them to... content themselves, let's say... for a full day until Darkseid was sated and weary.
"Why are you doing this? We have done nothing to you!" the Uxanoran demanded to know. Diana didn't know the bug's language but heard the bug's words translated by her Mother Box.
"I am Diana of Apokolips. That is all you need to know," she answered, with a vicious smirk. The emerald skies behind her were filled with Parademons.
Uxanor 4 was secured only three hours later. Diana publicly beheaded the Uxanoran rebel leaders and appointed a regent to manage the planet. Then Diana returned to her home, victorious again.
