The Dragon Riders were still fending off the Marines and were most certainly holding their own.

"Weapons Left!" Eret yelled, firing his cannon at a Marine.

Rather but Marine with boxing gloves then moved in swinging his fist, but Eret easily caught it with his bare hand. Then he tossed him with all his strength sending him flying towards one of the battleships.

The Marines on board were rather shocked.

"Commander!"

"Those Dragon Riders aren't any ordinary pirates."

"They're insanely strong. They're holding their own against the captains."

Fishlegs and his group were still defending the ship in two Marines who tried to attack him from behind. However, she heard them coming and immediately summoned a pair of arms and then slammed their heads against one another.

"So that woman has Devil Fruit powers," said a captain. "Everyone attack on my command. Go!"

The Marines immediately charged at Heather, but she merely smiled and crossed her arms.

"Hundred Flower: Flip!" she said, and a hundred pairs of arms sprouted from the stairs.

Then each pair of arms immediately grabbed a leg, causing them to crash on the stairs. Heather then immediately stepped aside, and Fishlegs prepared to finish them off.

"Thunder Ball!" he yelled, launching a Thunder Ball into the storm clouds above. "Thunderbolt Tempo!" Lightning then immediately rain down upon the Marines, electrocuting them. "That will teach you to mess with us."

Unfortunately, several of the Marines began to pick themselves up. The twins then immediately moved in, attacking them while they were winded.

"Guess these guys are a bit stronger than your average Marine," said Tuffnut.

"What you expect the Marine captain's," said Ruffnut.

On the bridge, two Marines immediately engaged Toothless, but he was more than prepared for them.

"Two Sword Style: Shockwave!" he yelled, swinging his swords.

The two Marines were then immediately struck by the wind created from the swing, knocking them out cold.

"Who was their ass kicked the next?" Toothless asked.

Marines then started to line up.

Astrid was battling the Marines with a combination of brute force and elegance. The Marine tried to attack while her back was turned, but she ducked and then kicked him in front of his face.

She immediately somersaulted and swung her axe at the closest Marine, who tried to block the attack only for his sword to shatter upon impact with her battleaxe.

"Come on, boys, is that really the best you can do?" Astrid smiled.

The only one who wasn't fighting was Snotlout, who was still looking down at the first column at Hiccup, who was still lying on the ground.

"Hiccup!" he yelled.

Hiccup was utterly exhausted; it was like every single muscle in his body was screaming in pain, but he could hear Snotlout's voice.

"Can you hear me?" Snotlout yelled. "Hiccup! Get up!"

Hiccup managed to tilt his head to look at that Snotlout. "Snotlout… What are you doing?"

"What am I doing? What are you doing?" Snotlout yelled. "I thought you were going to take this guy down, but instead, you're just lying down on the job!"

Astrid narrowed her eyes at him. "It wasn't the fact that I was fighting I would knock in black and blue."

"Hey, you!" Snotlout yelled at Lael. "The CP9 boss! If you think you can take us on that and take your best shot!"

Lael slowly turned his head towards him.

"You heard me!" Snotlout yelled. "If you want to get to Heather, I have to go through all of us! Now you had better listen and listen good, you bastard. If you think taking down captain is going to scare us, you got another thing coming. And if you're under some notion you can beat us, then you're just simply lying to yourself. We're going to bring you down, and we're going to rescue Heather, and there isn't a thing you can do to stop us! If the World Government want to go toe to toe with us, then we'll crush every single last one of you!"

Lael spat.

"Now, here and fight me if you have the guts or are you just a scaredy-cat?" Snotlout challenged.

Lael glared at him furiously and began making his way towards him.

"No, your fight is with me," said Hiccup. "You get back here right now. This is between you and me."

"You've already lost," said Lael. "I have no business with you; I'm going to kill every last one of them and save you from last so you can watch it happen."

"Then come and get me!" Snotlout yelled, raising his fists. "I'm gonna take you out with my bare hands!"

"Snotlout, for once in your shut up!" Hiccup yelled. "He's going to kill you."

"Hey, I'm just doing what you can't," said Snotlout. "You always said I was supposed to protect his own, but who are you going to protect now. You're practically dead already."

"You're no match for him," said Hiccup.

"Then you take him down!" Snotlout snapped. "Stop lying there, copying and looking like you're about to die. That's not the Hiccup I know at all. Even though it's filled with smoke, we can still see the sky; we can still see the ocean. This place is in hell! And I can't believe that you're going to end it like this! So stop acting like you are about to die and act like a true captain and protect your crew!"

"Finish with your little speech?" said Lael as he prepared to pounce. "Then I suggest you get ready to show me what you've got."

"You're right, Snotlout," said Hiccup's voice behind him.

Lael turned his head around and was shocked to discover that Hiccup had managed to get back on his feet.

"This place isn't hell; it's not even close," Hiccup continued.

"Hiccup," said Snotlout looking immensely relieved. "Finish him! Then we can all leave this place together!"

"Oh, I intend to!" Hiccup yelled. "I'll win no matter what!"

"I'm surprised you can still stand," Lael admitted.

"I'm never going to give up, you hear me? Until I defeat you, I won't… drop to the ground… ever again."

"Life Return: Terminate!" said Lael, and his muscles began to expand once more. "This annoying farce of yours has gone on long enough. I'll crush you with a single blow and end this once and for all. Oh, and don't worry about your little friends. Just as you wished, you will all be reunited once again very soon. Once I kill you, their next and then he will spend eternity together in hell."

He launched himself into the air and then swooped towards Hiccup, swinging his fists. Hiccup, however, counted his move with his own fists stopping him right in his path. The two of them pushed each other back, and the moment Lael hit the ground, he pounced.

"Spots Attack!" he yelled.

The two of them then began swinging their fists with blinding speed; they were moving so fast that they were nothing but blurs.

Meanwhile, the Dragon Riders were starting to get exhausted from the constant fighting with the Marine captains. Heather, Fishlegs and the twins, in particular, were completely surrounded.

"How dare you, you cannot treat the Marines like this."

"As long as we stay clear of those thunderclouds we've got."

Unfortunately, when they looked at they saw a massive thunder cloud overhead.

"There's already another one? All right men, write formation and…" He stopped when he felt someone tapping on his shoulder. "What is it? I'm busy here!"

He turned his head and was then suddenly slapped in the face; it wasn't just him either, as all the other Marines were slapped. That was thanks to Heather, who had sprouted an arm on each of the Marines shoulders.

"What the hell did you do that for?" they yelled, looking directly at the Marines next to them.

"Hey, guys," said Fishlegs, and they turned their attention towards him. "When the lightning strikes of this time, try not to get too electrocuted. Thunder Ball!" He then tossed a Thunder Ball into the storm clouds above. "Thunderbolt Tempo!"

The Marines were then immediately struck by lightning and got seriously electrocuted.

"Hey, way to go!" Chimney cheered.

"Nice work," said Coco. "Listen, we're all okay over here so that those stairs and help the rest of your crew."

"Your reindeer will be safe here with us, okay," Chimney assured them.

"You guys go; they need all the help they can get," said Chopper miserably.

"Okay then," said Fishlegs. "We'll leave Chopper with you then; take care of him. You guys ready?"

"You really need to ask?" Ruffnut asked.

"Let's go and kick some Marine butt," said Tuffnut.

"Let's move," said Heather.

With that, they immediately began to run towards the steps.

Chopper began crying, feeling utterly useless. "Everyone is fighting as hard as they can, and I can't do anything to help them. It's not fair. Good luck, given all you got!"

The Marines at the gate controls had received a message from the battleships.

"Wait, what?" said the operator. "What you mean you're running away? We're guards; we are supposed to be guarding this place. It's our duty as Marines!"

"The situation has changed; this pilot is going to be destroyed. We're evacuating."

The line then went dead.

"Dammit," said the Marine and immediately ran off.

A few seconds later, Ragnar appeared walking rather casually. He kicked down the door and found exactly what he was looking for.

"Bingo," he smiled.

Hiccup and Lael were fighting furiously, and Snotlout just watched them as they duke it out.

"Hiccup," he said softly.

He turned his head and then saw three Marine captains approaching him and raising his fists. The three of them then immediately charged at him with their weapons.

Lael ended this blow of fists by performing a spinning roundhouse kick, but Hiccup leaned back and avoided it.

"Victory Burn!!" Lael roared, unleashing a Tempest Kick.

Hiccup leaned to the side, and the kick missed him completely and was headed straight towards Snotlout.

"You guys are going down!" Snotlout roared.

The Marines were now practically on top of him, but before any of them could strike him, they were immediately struck by Lael's Tempest Kick.

Snotlout blinked. "Not sure what just happened, but I'm gonna take the credit anyway."

Eret was battling against the captain himself, but the moment that his iron fist made contact with his body is immediately transformed into multiple balls.

The captain laughed as he floated around him. "That's the power of the Berry-Berry Fruit. It's berry deadly."

The balls immediately began striking Eret from all sides, preventing him from moving.

"Damnit all, I can't even move here," said Eret.

"You're finished!" said the captain.

Toothless then appeared out of nowhere and immediately deflected the balls with his blades.

"Hey, thanks," said Eret and then immediately caught the ball with the captain's face on. "Whoa, wait, where do you think you're going?" The Marine captain was terrified as he was now completely helpless as Eret placed his cannon against his head. "If you like flying around so much…"

"No, don't!" he pleaded. "Hold on a sec!"

"Weapons Left!" Eret roared and fired his cannon.

The Marine captain then found himself flying straight into a battleship.

"Be careful; some of these jerks have Devil Fruit powers!" Eret warned.

"They could say the same of me," said Heather as she crossed her arms and faced a group of Marines. "Thirty Flowers: Clutch!"

Immediately arms sprouted from the Marines and immobilised them.

Toothless had just finished dispatching a few Marines when the Marine captain approached him.

"You must be Toothless," he said.

"That's right, what's it to you?" Toothless asked.

"I'm here to eliminate you!" he yelled and charged.

"Good luck with that," said Toothless and swung Blackest Heart towards him.

What's surprised him was that the Marine caught it with his bare hands, but then what shocked him even more was that his blade began to thrust and turned to dust. Toothless then quickly jumped back to avoid the Marine from grabbing him.

"I ate the Rust-Rust Fruit and became a rust man," he explained. "You and your swords will never defeat me."

"Damnit, my Blackest Heart," he said.

"That was just the beginning; I'll turn all your blades to little piles of rust.

"That's an interesting trick," said Toothless and sheathed his remaining blades. "But it won't work twice."

He then grabbed a simple cutlass on the ground and swung at the Marine. However, just like before, the sword turned to rust, much to his annoyance.

"By the way, if you think that all I can do, you're sadly mistaken!" he said and then quickly grabbed his arm.

Toothless then winced as rust began to cover his arm, preventing him from moving.

"No! What happened? Why can't I move?" he asked.

"Because I trusted every single joint in your body," said the Marine simply as the rust began to cover the rest of his body. "Now, let's cover the rest of you as well."

"Dammit," Toothless cursed.

"Valkyrie Inferno!" Astrid's voice yelled.

Suddenly a slash of flames struck the Marines knocking him out cold and freeing Toothless.

"You all right?" she asked, smiling.

Down at the column, Lael was avoiding Hiccup's plasma blasts and then quickly charged into getting close.

"Plasma Shot!" Hiccup yelled a shot.

The shot struck Lael before he had a chance to even move. However, Hiccup coughed out quite a bit of blood, this is the second time he had used this transformation, and it was taking everything he had to maintain it.

Lael managed to regain control of his descent and began getting even closer towards Hiccup.

"Plasma Shot!" Hiccup yelled, firing two shots.

Lael was able to avoid them and landed right behind him. Then, he noticed that Lael was using the same stance he had used the previous two times and quickly jumped back.

"I won't follow that again!" Hiccup yelled.

Unfortunately, Lael anticipated this and managed to wrap his tail around his waist, preventing him from getting away.

"Ultimate Radiants! Six King Gun!" Lael roared.

Hiccup then felt a massive shock wave passing right through his body; it was almost as if he had been hit by a cannonball. He coughed up a large amount of blood, and the shockwave was so powerful it actually crushed the wall behind him.

Lael then released Hiccup, who started topple over, and he walked away. Hiccup managed to regain his footing only to topple backwards, but he pulled himself back up at the last second. He used every ounce of strength he had not to fall and remain conscious.

He then roared loudly, remembering his vow just a few moments ago and then turned to face Lael. Lael had stopped in his tracks sensing that Hiccup had yet to fall. He was starting to get very annoyed as he turned to face him; he was like a bad cold. No matter how many times you should come off, he just clings on.

"Plasma…" Hiccup opened his mouth and then unleashed a barrage of plasma blasts.

"Iron Body!" Lael yelled, quickly hardening his body.

The plasma blast struck him with immense force, creating a series of explosions and actually breaking through his Iron Body.

"… Bombardment!" Hiccup roared.

Hiccup didn't stop for a second and continued to pound Lael with plasma blasts. Lael did his best to hold his ground, but he felt himself being pushed back until his back hit the wall. Even then, Hiccup didn't stop. It just kept on firing, letting loose all of his rage until he ran out of strength.

At the exact moment, he stopped, and the wall collapsed, and Lael was sent flying straight through it and was not completely out cold.

The explosion caught the eyes of everyone on the battleship as well as on the bridge.

"What happened?" said a Marine.

"What the heck is going on over there?"

Hiccup reverted back to human form and fell to the ground face-first as he used up the last of his strength.

On the bridge, everyone immediately stopped fighting as they turned towards the explosion.

"Hiccup," said Astrid worriedly.

"Hiccup," said Heather softly.

"Whoa, look at that tower," said a Marine.

"Hey, wait… what is that?"

"Down there! You see?"

"Attention aboard all ships," said an announcer. "I have an urgent report! Just now, Lael Robson, the most powerful agent of CP9, was seen lying face down, lifeless down at the first column. I repeat, Lael Robson has just been defeated by Dragon Conqueror Hiccup!"

All the Dragon Riders smiled upon hearing this.

"It's over," said Hiccup as he lay there on the ground. "W-we should be okay now. We're all going back together… Heather!"

Heather heard Hiccup's voice and can help but cry.

Hiccup just lay there smiling.
