The Marines were still somewhat bewildered that the Dragon Riders had jumped into the sea.
"What are they thinking? If they jump into the ocean, they're just going to drown."
"And they have Devil Fruit user's with them as well. It's suicide."
It was then that a Marine noticed the Going Tiger. "Hold on. Look at that… is that their ship?"
"It's got to be; see, it even has Dragon Conqueror's pirate flag on it."
"How the hell did it sneak past all of our battleships?"
Ragnar was the first one to reach the surface, and a split second after his head shot out of the water, he saw the rope ladder being lowered.
"I don't you are, pal, but I sure owe you one," said Ragnar as he climbed aboard. Then to his shock, he discovered that place was completely abandoned. "This is weird."
Moments later, Astrid and Fishlegs climbed aboard, and they were then quickly followed by Toothless, who was carrying Chimney and Paws.
"What's going on, Ragnar? Something wrong?" Astrid asked.
"Not wrong, just strange," he frowned. "The rope ladder got drop-down, but it is a lot like anybody is here."
"What?" Fishlegs blinked.
Eret, the twins and Snotlout then climbed aboard.
"Tiger!" Snotlout cried.
"All righty, up you go," said Coco tossing those with Devil Fruit powers onto the deck. "I hope that you enjoy the ride!"
"I've got you," said Ragnar catching Heather in his arms.
"Hiccup!" Astrid gasped and quickly ran over to him the moment he hit the deck.
"We're the Tiger," Chopper cried the moment he landed on the deck. "We're back on the Tiger! I love you, Tiger! I love you so much."
"Tiger," Snotlout cried, hugging the mast. "My sweet Tiger is still alive. I don't understand; how did she make it here? How?"
"I really wish I could give you a hug, Tiger, but I can't move," Chopper cried.
"This is a make any sense," said Eret. "I saw the ship drop into the ocean myself."
"The question is who sailed it here," said Fishlegs.
"We'll figure that out later," said Astrid. "Right now, we need to get out of here."
"Right," Fishlegs nodded. "Let me think."
Astrid then looked at the crew that was still able to stand. "Everybody ready?"
Hiccup was still unable to move, so he could only lie on the deck. "That was too close, really, for those battleships would blow me up for sure." He then turned his eyes towards Heather. "Looks like I owe you one, Heather."
Heather then rose to her feet and looked at everyone. "Hiccup… everyone, thank you."
Everyone can help but smile.
"Don't thank us just yet; we still need to get out of here," Astrid reminded her.
Chopper then immediately rose to his feet and glared at Astrid. "Did you really have to ruin the moment?"
"I'm just saying it as it is; we're nowhere near safe," she said bluntly and then blinked. "Wait, Chopper, your moving again."
Chopper blinked and realised that she was right. "Now that you mention it, I guess I am moving. I was afraid I would never get better."
"Astrid's right; we need to get out of here now," said Hiccup, then turned to Astrid. "And since I'm still unable to move, that means that you're in charge."
Astrid nodded. "You guys ready to move?"
"Yeah!" they cheered.
Spandam was standing upon Vice-Admiral Doberman's flagship, and he could see that the Dragon Riders were sailing away on their own ship.
"Pull it together, you idiots!" Spandam ordered. "Are you just going to stand there and let them get away? If they're going to escape anyway, we might as well blow Heather Owson too!"
"B-but we're supposed to capture her alive, sir," said a Marine.
"Tragic, I know, but that is what Asmund said to do," said Spandam. "Now, all ships prepared to fire!"
"Admiral Asmund said that?"
"All right, men, take aim!"
All of the battleships then began pointing the cannons down directly at the Going Tiger.
"All ships prepared to fire! Repeat prepared to fire!"
Spandam smiled. 'Okay, so I lied, but that's better than letting their getaway. I'll make them pay for what they've done.'
Doberman looked at Spandam suspiciously, but he remained silent.
"Can't you love those cannonballs any faster! Do you want them to get away?" Spandam yelled.
The Dragon Riders could hear Spandam yelling at the Marines on their ship.
"So Spanda is still alive, huh?" said Eret narrowing his eyes. "That sucks."
"They're going to fire!" Snotlout panicked.
"Catch the wind from starboard and headed east!" Fishlegs ordered.
"We can't; we're completely surrounded," said Astrid.
"All those big scary cannons are aimed directly at us," said Snotlout.
"At this range with that many ships, there's no way they're going to miss," said Eret gritting his teeth.
"Fire!"
The Marine ships then fired upon the Going Tiger, and everyone braced themselves, but the cannonballs never hit them. Instead, they hit the water, but even more surprisingly, some of them had actually hit the nearby battleships.
"Wait? Are they firing at each other?" Tuffnut blinked.
"Man, they have terrible aim," said Ruffnut.
"What was that? Where the hell are you aiming?" Doberman roared.
The cannoneers and the warships were just as confused.
"Something's wrong; it's like the cannons did that on their own."
"Don't make such stupid excuses!"
Then, even more strange, the warships began sailing into one another.
"Change course!"
"I can't; it's too late!"
Warships then immediately collided, causing several Marines to be thrown overboard.
"They're coming straight at us! We're going to crash!"
The Marines began panicking as they tried to get control of the ships, but the currents were far too strong for some reason.
"This is madness; what the hell is going on here?" a Marine captain yelled.
"Look over there, sir!" a Marine pointed.
The captain followed his big his eyes widened as he saw that the Gates of Justice were closing.
"The Gates of Justice are closing for some reason!"
"The gate can't block the current anymore! With these whirlpools around, we will be able to control the rudder!"
"So that's why our aim was so bad."
"Don't get sucked in!"
"This day just gets from bad to worse," Spandam moaned.
"Put out the fire quick!"
"Perhaps we should jump ship! We're finished!"
"Those damn fools," said Gorg clenching his fist. "Why do they close the gate? Hurry the hell up and open it again!"
"We can't, sir. The operation lover is on the Bridge of Hesitation; it wasn't our fault."
Ragnar smiled as he watched the warships collide with one another.
"That turned out better than I thought," he smiled.
"Ragnar, is that what you did while you were gone?" Snotlout asked.
Ragnar nodded. "I think it would take more than just gets a get out of here alive."
"Not bad, but these currents are going to be a problem for us as well," Toothless pointed out.
"Our ship is smaller, much easier to manoeuvre, unlike those battleships, plus we have a first-rate navigator," said Astrid turning her eyes to Fishlegs. "And so long as we're together, there's no see that the Going Tiger can't cross."
"You guys just hold them off what I'll find a path us," said Fishlegs.
"No problem!" said everyone.
The Marines kept on firing on the Going Tiger despite the currents, and Astrid, Toothless and Ragnar made their way to the stern of the ship, ready to deflect any cannonballs that came their way.
"One-Sword Style: 36 Calibre Phoenix!" Toothless yelled, swinging his sword and sliced through the cannonballs headed towards them. "Since I lost a sword, I can't do a full 108 Phoenix."
"Just do the best with what you can," said Ragnar.
"Brace yourselves, another volleying coming," Astrid warned.
Astrid then immediately jumped into the air and then swung her battleaxe. "Valkyrie Storm!"
She then unleashed a powerful tornado which blew the cannonballs back towards the battleships. However, the battleships just kept on firing upon them without any rest.
"Hundred Flowers: Defence!" said Heather and created a net of arms that caught the cannonballs before they hit the ship.
The cannonballs then fell down towards the deck, and Eret caught them.
"We don't want them; take them back!" Eret yelled, tossing the cannonballs back towards the ships.
"My turn," said Ragnar as he pulled out his pistols. "Scatter Shot!"
He then fired a quick mirage of bullets at the cannonballs, destroying them upon impact.
"I sure hope the guys are okay up there," said Chopper as he and Snotlout manned the rudder.
"Me too," said Chimney.
"Same here," said the twins.
"It's fine, Chopper," said Fishlegs as he took notes of the water currents. "After all we've been through, they won't lose now. You and Snotlout just focus on steering the ship, okay."
"Hey, who do you think you are giving out orders?" Snotlout huffed.
"Hiccup, Astrid and command and Astrid ordered me to plot the ship," Fishlegs reminded him. "If you want to question Astrid's decisions, go ahead and challenge her."
"On second thought, you're doing a fine job," said Snotlout quickly.
Astrid and the others continued to defend the ship, preventing any cannonballs from making an impact. Spandam was watching this, and he was getting very annoyed and began yelling at the Marines.
"Dammit! Why do you idiots keep missing?" he yelled. "It's right there! We've got like a million cannons firing at that stupid thing; it's just one little ship!"
The twins were now carrying Hiccup to the stern of the ship.
"The coming your way Ragnar!" Toothless yelled.
"I've got it!" said Ragnar. "Damnit, I missed one!"
"I see it," said Astrid.
"How are we doing?" Hiccup asked.
"Pretty well, but you really should be sitting this one out, captain," Ragnar advised.
"We've got this; you've already done more than enough just rest," said Astrid.
"We'll be done soon," said Toothless.
"I just feel utterly useless, not able to do anything to protect my ship and crew," said Hiccup.
"We know Hiccup, but isn't that exactly the reason why you put me in charge?" Astrid asked.
"Doesn't mean I have to like it," said Hiccup.
"Man, they really do want to kill us," said Tuffnut.
"I thought they wanted Heather live?" Ruffnut frowned.
"If they can't take her in alive, then they deemed it far easier to eliminate her and us along with her," Hiccup concluded.
"I'll give a medal to anyone who can fit them!" Spandam roared. "One shot is all it takes!"
"All ships concentrate all attacks on their back deck!" a Marine captain ordered. "Fire!"
All the battleships then immediately fired their cannons at exactly the same time, and there was no way they would be able to deflect this many attacks.
"We can't block all those!" Ragnar yelled.
"I can," said Hiccup and then transformed to his hybrid form. "But I need you guys to prop me up!"
"On it!" said the twins.
The twins immediately lifted Hiccup up so that he was now facing the incoming cannonballs.
"Do you have enough strength to deflect all of those?" Astrid asked, looking concerned.
"We're about to find out. Wing Blast!" Hiccup yelled and flapped his wings as hard as he could.
He created a massive gust of wind that blew the cannonballs completely off course, sending them right back towards the battleships.
"Uh-oh, I think they're coming back!" said a Marine.
The Marines immediately ran just as the cannonballs struck the battleships, damaging them severely.
At this point, Fishlegs successfully was able to plot an escape route for them.
"I've got it, the path to victory," said Fishlegs. "Guys, helm hard to port! 9 o'clock!"
"You got it," said Chopper.
"Hard to port!" said Snotlout.
They then pulled down on the rudder, following Fishlegs' directions.
"They're pulling towards the waterfall! What should we do?"
"Just shoot them!" Spandam screamed. "What the hell do you think? How hard can it be? Shoot their ship!"
Unfortunately proved impossible at the Going Tiger picked up speed going around the whirlpools. Since it was a much smaller ship, it to manoeuvre in the rapid far better than their battleships.
"They're riding the current through the whirlpool; there's no use we can't keep up!"
"All right, I get to be useful too!" Chopper yelled.
"You can do reindeer, dude!" Chimney cheered.
"Let's go, full speed ahead!" Hiccup yelled.
Some of the battleships were now on fire, and the others were having difficulty staying afloat.
"Dammit! Dammit! Those bastards!" Spandam yelled furiously. "I had the power of Enies Lobby, the power of CP9; I even had the power of a Buster Call! They practically burn the whole island down, and yet even after all that, even after what I've done! We can't take a single woman away for a band of riffraff; it's not fair!"
Heather then began making her way to the back of the ship as she had some compressed anger she wanted to unleash.
A split second later, Spandam saw several arms sprouting all over his body and began pressing him in a hold. His eyes immediately turned fearfully towards the back of the ship when he saw a vengeful Heather standing there.
Seconds later, he felt the arms pulled back and began crying out in pain as the Marines watched helplessly.
"Chief Spandam!"
Spandam was now immediately regretting all the abuse he had unleashed upon Heather.
"Please, someone help me!" Spandam pleaded.
"Clutch!" Heather yelled.
Spandam cried in pain as he heard several bones break and then collapse onto the ship's deck.
"Chief Spandam! Are you okay?" a Marine asked.
None of the Dragon Riders blamed her for what she did; if they had been in the same position, they would have done exactly the same thing.
"Well, I guess that settles that," said Astrid crossing her arms. "Eret, it's time for you to do your thing!"
"You got it," said Eret and jumped onto the back of the ship. "Get ready because this is going to be wild."
"Block their path!" a Marine captain ordered. "Don't let them get out the whirlpool!"
A battleship then began moving in to block their path.
"Just so you know, this might bang up your ship a bit; sorry about that," Eret warned as he placed his arms together. "Coup De Vent!"
Then seconds later, the Going Tiger shot into the air like a cannonball, flying right past the warship, much to the shock of the Marines.
"Wait? What? The pirate ship is flying?"
"How are we supposed to top that?"
"Our cannons can't reach that high!"
Ragnar then moulded his guns into a sniper rifle. "Not exactly the first time we've flown in the air. Smoke Shot!"
He then fired a shot directly into the sea, and moments later, smoke began to cover the entire area hiding them from view.
"It's a smokescreen!"
The Going Tiger finally landed a fair distance away from the warships, which were still trapped in the current and were now unable to see.
"Damn, pirates," a Marine captain cursed. "Go, don't let them get away!"
"We can't, sir. It's taken all we've got to stay afloat."
"We've got a get out of this whirlpool first."
Regardless the Marines kept on firing cannon fire at them, but the Going Tiger was so far Wayne visibility was so poor that they missed every single time.
"Maintain fire, don't stop!"
Unfortunately, they were now completely out of range, and the second column began to collapse, completing the entire devastation of Enies Lobby.
At the same time, the Eret Family and Galley Law had finally climbed back up. They quickly boarded the Puffing Tom, which the Marines had left behind and Palmer began to stoke the engine.
"Looks like the Dragon Riders are safe and sound!" said Teeny.
"Good, then let's get the hell out of here," said Palmer. "All you men on board, right?"
"Of course, we've packed to the injured people in the cars, so that nice and snug right now."
"Okay, it's gonna be a rough ride for you folks outside the train, so you had better hang on tight."
The Puffing Tom then immediately began to move, and everyone watched as Enies Lobby continued to burn to the ground.
"It's all over; we're still alive," said Tilestone.
"Yeah, we survived the Buster Call," Lasse nodded. "It's strange, watching their island burn from the file their own ships. But now that Enies Lobby is gone, maybe the Government won't get in our business quite as much. Should be good for Iceberg."
"I hope you're right."
"Hey! Hey! Stop it!" Palmer screamed. "Stay away! Get away from me!"
They turned their heads and saw that the twins were hugging Palmer, much to his dismay.
"We never would have made it without your ropes," said Kaley. "I didn't know you were such a hero, Palmer."
"If there is anything we can do to repay you, just say it, okay," said Kalena.
"Yeah, you can start by getting your hands off of me!" he yelled.
"He's so innocent, isn't that the cutest thing?" Kaley smiled.
"It just makes you want to cuddle him."
"That's enough, you perverts," said Palmer turning bright pink.
"Oh, are you having a hard time?" Kalena asked.
"You poor thing, we'll take care of you," Kaley promised.
"I'm begging you, please have mercy," Palmer pleaded.
Tilestone and Lasse couldn't help but chuckle at the scene.
Everyone else began cheering as they steamed away from Enies Lobby.
"Let's go Puffing Tom!" Teeny yelled. "We're heading home!"
The Marines were still In complete disarray, a third of their fleet had either been destroyed or was in flames, and the rest were finding it difficult to stay afloat. Asmund was perched on a piece of ice on top of his bicycle, and he had seen the entire thing from start to finish.
"I didn't realise you were here, sir," said Doberman. "We haven't given up the chase yet. I swear that it won't end like this. We must maintain our dignity as the Navy… no as the World Government. We will bring down the Dragon Riders at any cost; Heather Owson is in the palm of our hand; we can't let her escape again after all we've done."
"Admiral, allow us to call in reinforcements, and we will overtake them as quickly as possible," said Gorg.
"Don't bother," said Asmund.
"But sir?"
"The force that we command is as powerful as an entire nation's military. And yet look at the state of our fleet, look at Enies Lobby burning to the ground. The situation is obvious, isn't it? The day is lost men, we've been utterly defeated."
The Dragon Riders were now safely away from Enies Lobby, making their way back to Water 7. It was now morning, though since it was daytime constantly at Enies Lobby, none of the Dragon Riders even noticed.
"I think it's safe to say that we escape the Marines," said Hiccup.
"I half expected them to call in reinforcements to chase us down," said Astrid.
"I'm still rather surprised the Going Tiger showed up," said Ragnar. "Let's face facts we wouldn't have made out of there without her."
"Not much of a surprise, I mean, she's always protected us," Hiccup smiled. "She's a good friend had."
"I don't mean to spoil the mood, but damn, you guys did some crazy stuff back there," said Eret. "I don't think the Government is going to let you off that easy after you burn down their flag."
"And I don't regret it," said Hiccup. "I mean, the only reason we did any of that was to rescue a friend. Additionally, we wouldn't have been able to do it without your help, so thanks."
"Well, it wasn't that big of a deal," said Eret scratching the back of his head. "I just did what I had to do."
"Point is, we're all together, and we're coming back in one piece, and this fight was our victory!"
All of them then cheered at the top of their voices.
