In a dream, Nathan saw… things.

A gigantic, humanoid figure with a scythe, cutting up another giant.

'What the hell?'

With a pained roar, the other figure dissipated. As its severed body parts hit the ground, it created many different monsters.

The world then shifted, twisting and turning until it stabilized, showing Nathan another scene.

This time, there were also two figures, one kneeling, and the other standing. He recognized one of them as the figure from last time- the one that was holding the scythe,, and his brain filled in the missing information as he felt a familiar power- Zeus.

From where he was standing, perhaps a few hundred meters away, he could feel the sheer power radiating off of the two giants that he faced.

One had the raw power, while the other gave off an ancient, tempered feeling to it.

Nathan gulped, staring intensely at the two figures, watching even their most miniscule movements.

The figure from last time, who was kneeling, glared hatefully at Zeus, who looked down on him as he raised the scythe in his hand.

Zeus's beard glowed as he rumbled, "Ironic that you'd meet your end by the same scythe that your father did, is it not?"

Nathan frowned in his dream, 'Father? So… this is Zeus and Kronos… and before that was Kronos and Ouranos?'

Kronos clenched his jaws as his eyes glowed green, Nathan made eye contact with Kronos, and saw the sheer hatred in his eyes as he stared at Zeus.

With clenched teeth, Kronos opened his mouth for one last taunt, "I'll return. I swear on it. And when that day comes, you'll regret not living in my stomach."

Zeus' eyes hardened, and he tightened his grip on the scythe. As he raised the scythe and prepared to swing it, he said, "Don't kid yourself."

A mere second later, Kronos' head flew off, splattering blood everywhere. That also signified the end of Nathan's dreams.

"Aeuh…", Nathan groggily sat up as he massaged his temples.

His eyes snapped open as he recalled the events of yesterday, and the events of his dreams.

Nathan frowned as he contemplated the reasons for his dreams.

'Is it because I'm in Greece, and I'm a part of the supernatural world?'

No, that seemed unlikely, Nathan decided. If that was the case, there would be many reports of strange dreams, especially from the devils from the Agares clan that visited the mansion before.

The most likely cause that he could think of was the green mist that entered him yesterday at the museum.

Nathan sighed as he thought about the bad memories.

'... Should I go back to the Underworld to check for any issues?', Nathan humored the idea for a few seconds before deciding on it.

'I'll make it quick.', Nathan thought as he walked to the dining room, where he heard Balher devouring the food.

Balher noticed Nathan's presence as he welcomed him at the table, "You didn't wake up yesterday, so I just let you sleep. Your food's in the fridge."

"Thanks. I'm gonna go back to the Underworld for a few hours. I have some things to do."

Balher rose an eyebrow at Nathan's sudden declaration, but thought nothing of it.

Nathan secretly sighed in relief as he thought, 'There's a reason why I chose Balher to come with me other than his freakish strength, after all…'

Nathan opened the fridge and welcomed the grilled meat into his stomach, before leaving the table and heading to the storage room, where the teleportation circle was waiting.

Nathan cleared the space before stepping inside the circle, activating it and teleporting back to the one in the Agares mansion.

Nathan hurriedly rushed to his room, cleaning and dressing himself in order to look presentable, before heading to Sekezer's office.

When Nathan opened the door to Sekezer's office, the other inhabitant, Sekezer, immediately looked up from the papers that his attention was glued to moments earlier. Upon seeing who interrupted his work, Sekezer raised an eyebrow before asking, "What do you need from me?"

"Can you ask for a meeting with Ajuka Beelzebub?"

The eyebrow was raised even higher. "Why would you need to meet with the Maou? Anyways, there's a line of people waiting to meet him, you know?"

Nathan replied unhurriedly, "You should be able to get an immediate meeting with him as one of the Ultimate-class devils in the Underworld, no?"

"I could, but tell me the reason why."

"I have something to report from my trip to Athens."

Nathan sighed, "Something happened there. I feel like I've been cursed by a god or something. I only insulted them once or twice, and I didn't even say it outloud."

Well technically, Nathan wasn't lying.

"?", Sekezer had dumbfounded expression on his face, asking with his eyes, 'Why did you do something so stupid?'

Sekezer continued staring at Nathan, who returned the stare, making it into a staring contest between the two Agares devils.

Eventually, after a few minutes, Sekezer closed his eyes and sighed before opening the drawer in his desk, taking some sort of device out and pressing it, establishing a hologram connection to Ajuka Beelzebub, who responded after a few minutes of delay.

"Is there anything that you need, Sekezer Agares?", Ajuka's face appeared on the hologram, and Nathan could hear machines in the background running.

"Hello, Maou Beelzebub. My son here", Sekezer gestured to Nathan, ''has something to report to you from his trip to Athens."

Ajuka raised an eyebrow, before asking, "Why was he in Athens in the first place?"

"No idea, sir. Regardless, Nathan believes that he got cursed by a god for… blaspheming them. That was stupid of him, if I may add."

Ajuka nodded without saying anything, and he closed his eyes.

Finally, he spoke, "Send him over to my laboratory in an hour. I'll see if there's a curse on him, and if it affected him in any way."

"Thank you, and I apologize for the sudden call."

"Don't worry about it. If there's nothing else, I'll see Sekirai in an hour."

Sekezer nodded, before ending the connection with Ajuka, and he turned to Nathan.

"You happy?"

Nathan nodded happily, "Very."

"Well, you heard the man. Go over to his place in an hour."

"Okay. I'll wash up and prepare."

"Go.

"So, is there anything wrong with me?"

Nathan asked the question that has been on his mind ever since he visited the museum, and Ajuka, who was standing right in front of him, replied, "I'm not sure. It seems like there's a third source of magic in your body, but it's dormant. If I try to extract it, there might be some reactions that could cause an imbalance in your body and you'd explode."

"...", Nathan was speechless. He essentially has a ticking bomb in his body, and he doesn't even know when it'd explode.

Ajuka further explained, "Magic is like a container. For us devils, we usually have one, but if we're from a clan with inherited power, we have two, and in extreme cases, even three. Think about it like this- when we use our demonic energy, the container depletes, before getting refilled after a short rest. In your case, you have an extra container hovering fragilely over your demonic energy and Power of Time. If you try to use that container, the 'water' might splash around and flood your other two, causing you to explode."

'What the f*ck? I can't even use it?', Nathan's mouth twitched as he tried his best to restrain cursing out loud.

Seeing Nathan's reaction, Ajuka attempted to comfort him and jokingly said, "Well, if you learn how to harness this energy, you'd have a third source of power within you. It's like that thing Sirzechs' sister has been watching… 'Naruto', was it? Anyways, in the case that you DO try to harness it, be very careful as you could die at any time."

Nathan sighed, before asking, "So, what should I do?"

Ajuka hummed in deep thought, "There's no solution for now, but you can come back here later, or when I call you. I might have a solution then."

"Then, thank you in advance, Maou Beelzebub."

"Please, call me Ajuka. I have a feeling that we'd be seeing each other a lot more often."
