"This," Nathan breathed heavily as he struggled to carry a coffin. Specifically, one that was coated with a thin layer of adamantium that Nathan got from his first excursion. "Is stupid."

[Then why are you doing it?]

"..."

Normally, Nathan wouldn't have any trouble lifting a boulder, much less a coffin. But normal was something that Nathan would never associated with Kronos. The coffin that he was carrying was a coffin with a regular appearance, but it's specialness came from the material that was used to coat it.

That, coupled with Nathan suppressing his demonic energy to the point that not even a droplet could be felt by others unless they searched specifically for his energy. Something that he doubted the Olympian gods (and goddesses) would do.

[Stop. There's a trap here.]

"Why the f*ck are there so many traps in this tunnel? Didn't you build it to escape? For Satan's sake, this is the 16th trap that we came across! You paranoid f*ck!"

Nathan cursed Kronos aloud in his frustration, before Kronos responded to him. [Being paranoid is better than being dead. Regardless, yes, I am paranoid. But what are you going to do about it? What could you do about it?]

"I don't know? Maybe break the damn walls?"

[Ajuka Beelzebub was right. You really are suicidal. Break the walls if you want to alert the entire Greek pantheon. Now be quiet before I get any more angry.]

"..." Nathan wisely shut his mouth. Having an angry Kronos would do him no good, especially now that he was in the middle of Athens, the main residence of most Greek gods.

Nathan continued walking as he avoided countless traps, while carrying the adamantium-coated coffin.

As he was nearing his raw physical limits, Nathan turned a corner and met a dead end. But that wasn't it. Nathan could tell that there was something special about the wall, judging from how it was decorated with endless drawings.

[You can rest now. Feel free to let loose the stored up energy.]

Nathan doubtfully asked Kronos, "Wouldn't revealing my energy alert the Greek gods up there?"

[No. I specifically built this chamber to hide any energy leak, even from a being like myself. It'll prevent the leak of demonic energy from you. Any energy as a matter of fact.]

Nathan caught onto Kronos' words as he said, "Chamber? All I see is a wal-"

Just as Nathan was about to finish his sentence, the wall in front of him flashed green for a brief moment, before it collapsed, revealing a hidden room in the maze.

Nathan gawked as he looked at the luxuries that decorated the chamber.

"Wow. You really planned to stay here, didn't you?"

[Hmph. Of course. To us gods, years fly by like a second."

Nathan dryly chuckled as he entered the chamber, before turning around to see the walls rebuilding itself.

"Wouldn't your enemies get suspicious if you disappeared at the end of the maze?"

[They would, if not for the fact that when they try to break the wall, it would teleport them to another place.

Nathan nodded. That made sense to him.

"Did you link the coordinates of the destination together with the wall?"

Kronos 'nodded' in his head, [Think of it as your teleportation circles, but with a special condition.]

Nathan nodded as he continued examining the furniture and equipment inside the room. That was also when a strange bronze coffin caught his attention. The coffin was specially decorated with countless jewels.

Though that quickly slipped out of his mind as he then asked Kronos the most important part to the theft, "So how do we get to the museum?"

Kronos replied in Nathan's head, [Walk over to my statue.]

Nathan deadpanned, "There's twelve statues of you. All looking the same as well."

[Look closer at the clock connected to my back.]

Nathan squinted his eyes as he realized- the arms on the clocks were all pointing to a different number.

[Walk over to the one pointing at '6'.]

Nathan followed Kronos' instruction as he walked over, before asking, "What's next?"

[Put your hand on the statue.]

"Done."

[Channel your demonic energy into it.

As Nathan did so, the statue flashed green, something that happened with the entrance to the chamber as well, before overwhelming Nathan with its green light, blinding him momentarily.

When Nathan opened his eyes, he reappeared in a museum. The museum where everything started.

Nathan took a deep breath as he looked around, finding everything just as how he remembered it. He even looked up to the top, finding a lightning bolt- although it seemed to be inactive this time.

[Conceal your presence before Zeus senses you.]

Nathan widened his eyes as he hurriedly concealed his presence, before lifting the coffin that he'd carried next to him.

[There are no traps that would be harmful to you, from what I can tell.]

Nathan nodded along as he walked towards the area where he first found Kronos.

After a short minute of walking, Nathan appeared at the scene where everything started for him.

Nathan frowned as bad memories started popping up, before suppressing them and walking over to the bronze-colored coffin that laid behind a glass case.

Nathan slowly put the coffin down to avoid making any noise, before preparing to do the swap.

Nathan walked over to the coffin— the adamantium coffin, before placing his hands under and lifting it.

As that happened, Nathan involuntarily groaned at the immense weight that he found himself under, "Heuk!"

Nathan grunted as he lifted the coffin, before putting it down and replacing it with the adamantium coated coffin that he brought with him.

After that was done, he put the glass case back on display and asked Kronos, 'How do we get out?'

[The same way we got in. Draw a teleportation circle, and I'll try to conceal your demonic energy.]

Nathan nodded, before getting onto the ground and drawing a magic circle that was large enough to fit both him and the coffin that he carried.

After filling the circle with the necessary symbols, he injected demonic power into it— while also making sure to erase his traces, and activated the teleportation circle.

With a small green flash that was suppressed, he found himself back in the hidden chamber. He looked to the side and found the adamantium coffin next to him.

Nathan pumped his fist in happiness and he smiled as he lifted the coffin next to him, finding it very light compared to before because he enhanced his body with demonic energy.

Nathan then drew a magic circle on the ground and teleported back into Ajuka's lab, before he quickly walked over to the incinerator in his section, and blasted the coffin with extremely high temperatures to melt it.

Ajuka, who was in the lab, quickly sensed the temperature increasing in high intervals, and he teleported over to Nathan's lab just as the coffin fully melted, preventing anyone from recognizing its original shape.

Although it was disfigured, Ajuka could still sense the mystical power that adamantium contained and frowned at Nathan, "How did you get this much adamantium?"

Nathan, who had long already prepared an excuse, and with the help of Kronos, he was able to lie to Ajuka.

Ajuka didn't accept it as easily as Nathan thought, and his eyes narrowed as he stared at the adamantium, painting the lab with an awkward atmosphere . Eventually, he broke the silence as he said, "Well, since we already have all the materials here, would you like to make your scythe?"

Nathan was stunned as he heard that, before quickly recovering as he took out the mold and blueprint for his scythe in glee.

He put the mold on the table as Ajuka collected the molten adamantium in a container, carefully filling the mold with it.

"Take out the magic crystals."

"Got it."

"Give me the blueprint. There's a mistake in it."

"Okay."

Nathan and Ajuka continued working on the scythe for hours, the heat from the incinerator causing them to sweat excessively.

When the scythe cooled down, Ajuka extracted it from its mold and he started refining the scythe with Nathan's help, adding some decorations as they worked on refining it.

The refining process took much longer than the initial crafting process, but it would be worth the price, as the scythe's quality would be comparable to some Sacred Gears in terms of raw sharpness and durability. Of course, Sacred Gears still have an edge due to their special abilities, but Nathan was confident that the scythe would be able to outclass most low and middle tier Sacred Gears.

"Phoooo…" Ajuka let out a breath as he held the scythe in his hand and admired it, "It's finally done… after what? Seven hours?"

Ajuka then handed the scythe over to Nathan as he said, "Feel free to decorate it however you want. After all, it's your scythe, no? Though I would be careful about adding more magic crystals to it. We don't want to overcharge the adamantium, because who knows what reactions there'd be?"

Nathan nodded as he said, "I'm gonna use the next weeks to get used to it."

"Good idea. Now that we're done, I'm going back to my office. I have a lot of work to do."

"Makes sense."

Ajuka and Nathan parted ways as they went to their respective places— Ajuka to his office, and Nathan to the Agares mansion.

Once Nathan arrived, he purposely concealed his presence from the servants and avoided contact with his family as he headed straight for Balher's room in the servant's quarters. Once he arrived, he discreetly entered the room and headed for the table in the room, opening the first drawer with a key that he shuffled out of his pocket.

*Click*

Once the drawer was pulled out, Nathan stared at a blue gem that had a glow within it, before picking it up and attaching it to the heel of his scythe, which he had minimized into a necklace with the help of Ajuka during the refinement process.

The gem fell in place perfectly.

In a cave that was lit by torches.

"He took the bait, my lord." A hooded grim reaper knelt in front of a young man, who looked like he was in his early twenties.

The young man, who had pitch-black hair and eyes, smiled with a twinkle that was fit for a lunatic.

"Tell the grim reapers to wait until he's out of the Underworld. I don't want to risk anything. If I recall correctly, he was spying on some of our agents in the Human World, no? In that case, use the treasure as bait."

"... Wouldn't Lord Thanatos be angry?"

The man scoffed, "He wouldn't even know of it if everything goes according to plan— which it will. How could a measly high class devil that barely trained in their life be a match to I, Kilgore?"

"... As you wish, my lord. I will relay your orders now."

The kneeling grim reaper melted into the shadow as he disappeared.

Kilgore turned around to face the wall as the torches lit up his face, and combined with his insane eyes, he looked like the antagonist of a horror movie.

'... What was his name again? Agares..?'
