Here we go folks. Let's get it started. Btw, I broke 200k views... I love all of you. Seriously, you make me better and I love all of you.

POV: Aedon Eyes

I was sitting in my room at my desk going over some data that we had on Tuchanka and everything that was going on there. It read mostly like the game where Wrex was uniting the clans of Tuchanka; violently in some cases. However, when it did get violent it usually boiled down to a one vs one fights against other Warlords. Wrex hasn't lost yet and since the first couple of fights most Warlords are bowing to Wrex.

There were a few that were stubbornly opposing everything Wrex was doing but they were few and far between. Wrex's status was something that everyone feared with how he operated and fought. Not to mention that his clan has been incredibly successful since he came into power. Most free Krogan have joined him seeking glory.

Not to mention that they have taken a few mercenary contracts lately. Always staying away from slavery and drugs but other than that everything has been an option. I could get behind that and he's kept his people clean too. No corruption within the ranks that intelligence could find and the few times there were they were swiftly taken care of. Meaning they were executed, publicly.

Other than all that Wrex has done a good job of getting Tuchanka completely under his control. It won't be long, maybe only a couple of months before he'll be in full control of the entirety of Tuchanka. We only had a couple of hours until we arrived as well; quick turn around from the Citadel because of the proximity of the Relays.

As I was going over the data someone knocked on my door. Saying for them to come in Thane entered the room and slowly walked over to me. He waited for me to finish with the data. Closing up the data I turned to Thane and looked at him expectantly.

"When last we spoke we discussed Jesus briefly," hmm, wonder how this will go? Nodding to him to continue he did. "Your bible talks how he will come back to save the people but it never discusses when or how. With us Kasfes is said to come back riding a cow flafel," what? He saw my look before he elaborated.

"Translator issue. The name for our steed does not translate well; I have had this problem before. Still, I wonder why your bible does not talk about that. Even Asari state that Athame will return when she is needed with a white Dragon soaring above her," thinking over it for a couple of seconds I responded.

"I can't truly speak for Jesus or the Lord as I am not them and do not deign to say that I do know them beyond worship. Speculating though I can say that I believe it is because Jesus is not a conqueror like Kasfes and Athame were. He is a savior and redeemer and only came when he was truly needed so when he does come again it'll be when he is truly needed again. Not as a conquering hero but as a simple man who will make the galaxy better through his deeds."

"Hmm, I had not thought about it that way… And you said he was a simple carpenter before what he did," I nodded my head. "Such a humble start for someone so many revere. Kasfes was the son of a king before ascending as the king of the gods and Athame her people's chief before she became their god. Why did he have such a simple life?"

"To show that anyone could do it. He is the son of god but in every other way he was a simple man, before he started performing miracles, who simply knew the world could and should be better than what it was. And chose to act to change it."

We talked for about another half hour discussing Jesus and Kasfes and drawing parallels between the two. It was an interesting talk but for the most part it was just to pass time. The conversation ended when there was an announcement for the ground team to go to the briefing room. Nodding between each other we left and arrived at briefing room together being the first two besides Shepard and Jack. Jack was sporting a massive hickey on her neck and wore it like a badge of pride.

I didn't comment on it and just took a seat waiting for the others to come in. A couple minutes later everyone was in the room; including Kasumi. Who appeared behind Zaeed playing with his knife that had been in its sheathe. Zaeed in a surprising act of patience just held out his hand. Guess she had been doing that to the others as well and was successful at it. Once that interaction was done Shepard started the brief.

"We'll be meeting with Urdnot Wrex when we arrive to find out if there's something they know about Grunt. Wrex knows we're not far and will make accommodations for our arrival. That being said, treat this place like Omega; no one here besides Wrex is our friend. His clan may be friendly but that won't stop them from attacking if you do something stupid. My Spectre status means jack all here so don't do anything stupid.

Otherwise we won't know all that we're going to do until Wrex can clear it up for us. Could be here for a couple of days but don't expect anything longer than three at the most. ROE is like I said earlier, treat Tuchanka like Omega; always be ready. We leave in the shuttle in 45, that's all; dismissed," you know I'm beginning to question why he couldn't just send stuff like that out in a message. Then again, he is military; redundancy is how they survive.

Leaving the room I got a tap on my shoulder and looked over it to see Mordin. Nodding his head towards his lab he began walking away without even checking if I was going to follow him or not. Sighing I followed him regardless and when I entered the room he locked the door behind me. Paranoia ruled my mind and I had my hands on my knife and pistol ready for anything. I had reapplied the Rachni poison to it earlier today in preparation for Tuchanka.

"Hmm… Sorry, forget your paranoia is always active. Not going to do anything, just talk. Got tip from STG about old Apprentice. On Tuchanka, been captured by Blood Pack to cure the Genophage two weeks ago."

"What do you need from me?" I jumped in before he could really get going with the talking.

"See if Urdnot Wrex knows anything. Don't know location of facility; will need to find it," Wrex will ask for something in the future if I do that. Probably worth it at this point.

"I can't promise results but I'll talk to Wrex about it; he should know something at the very least," Mordin gave me a grateful nod before unlocking the door and going over to his desk to continue his work. That's usually how our conversations went when they ended; we each just give a nod and walk off.

Leaving the room I made my way where the Shuttle was. We only had a little under 40 minutes left until we leave anyways. No point in going back to my room just to do nothing but wait; might as well wait next to the shuttle. As I arrived in the area it seemed that I wasn't the only one who had the same idea.

Grunt was pacing around the room looking about ready to fight anything that gave him an opportunity. Jack was sitting, legs criss crossed, on top of the shuttle watching Grunt pace around the room while she drank a water. As I walked over to the shuttle and past the pacing Grunt I heard him growl in my direction. Stopping as he did so I turned and faced him.

He kept growling but I just stood there impassively silently daring him to try me. I knew it wasn't really his fault for that but he's done a good job of controlling it for the most part. Still, it doesn't matter how good your self control is instincts and nature will win out eventually. Wonder if I'll have to fight him.

Both of us continued to silently look on at the other until he tore his eyes away from me and started pacing around the room again. Walking over to the shuttle Jack stared down at me from her little perch and gave me a raised eyebrow but otherwise didn't say anything. I just grunted and jumped up onto the top of the shuttle.

Neither of us said anything as we waited but about five ish minutes into our waiting Jack turned to me and held out her fist. I fist bumped it which elicited a groan from the woman and looked at me like I was an idiot.

"Rock, Paper, Scissors dumbass," nodding to her challenge we went at it.

After only a couple minutes of that we started betting. Who wins, best of three, and we bet money. We weren't screwing around either, we were dropping a 1000 plus at least on every game. It was also the second time in the last 10ish days were I was the loser in this scenario. I think Jack was cheating but I don't know how you would cheat at Rock, Paper, Scissor. She had to be though; she took 15k from me before I called it quits.

"Fucking FINALLY! I'm better than you at something!" Jack shouted out as she raised her hands to the ceiling celebrating. I let out a chuckle and hopped off the Shuttle as I saw Shepard and Pequod walk into the shuttle area.

Shepard gave Jack an amused look before looking at me with a knowing look. Guess she had taken his money too… or more probably used it to do something in the bedroom. I was not about to ask that question because Jack would answer it and that was not something I should know if it is for the bedroom. I don't want to imagine what she would be down to do in there.

As Pequod got the shuttle ready for flight the rest of the group started filing in. Miranda was first as she looked over her datapad with a concerned look on her face. Not a fearful one, just concerned. Guess it still hasn't happened yet; probably just getting data that something could happen. Giving her a small tap on the shoulder as she walked up to us I gave her a thumbs up silently asking if she was okay. She gave me a strained nod before starting to go over officer stuff with Shepard.

A couple minutes later the shuttle was ready and everyone was piled in. Grunt was pacing in front of the door incessantly and had to be ordered by Shepard to sit down when we entered the atmosphere. He grumbled the whole time like someone had taken away his favorite toy. It would've been a bit funny if he wasn't on the verge of fighting literally everyone he could see.

As we flew down in the shuttle he became more and more agitated but a simple look from both Shepard and I made him calm somewhat. Like a scolded child he pouted after we did that to him but at this point both Shepard and I were done with it. Instinct or not he needed to have at least somewhat decent control.

As we landed we were greeted with a couple Krogan with Wrex's symbol painted on their chest standing guard at the platform. They each gave a respectful nod to Garrus, Myself, Tali and Shepard but ignored the rest completely. Except for Grunt, they took one look at him and gave a deep rumble. One that Grunt took aggressively to stalking forward only to have Shepard and I both in front of him. He backed down quickly but you could see the violence in his eyes.

"Control the pup or he will die," the Krogan on the left spoke up. "Warlord Wrex is through this passage and a left at the end."

We gave him a nod before leaving with the group right behind us. We walked past a couple more Krogan of different clans on the way there but they all left us alone. They knew we were guests of Wrex and didn't want to do anything stupid.

As we entered the open area it was the exact same as what I remembered from the game. Wrex standing on his thrown on a pile of rubble, Varren fighting in a pit off to the left with the mechanic in the same vicinity. Looking up and to the right I saw the Shaman looking at us through the glass. They were scrutinizing us but otherwise weren't doing anything.

Looking back to where Wrex was he was having a conversation with some Krogan and obviously wasn't in the best of moods. Whoever the guy was he irked Wrex; might as well rescue the man from politics. Looking to Shepard he was already walking forward and I was quick to follow with Tali and Garrus right behind me.

"Shepard!" Wrex bellows out as he notices us coming up to him. Walking over to Shepard he shakes his hand before going to Tali and giving her a small hug. Garrus he gives a respectful nod and handshake too before looking at me.

"Took you long enough to get here. Been too busy having fun around the galaxy to visit me huh," Wrex gave a good chuckle at his own words giving a meaningful glance at Tali.

"It is what it is Wrex. Killing mercs, saving people, getting the girl, and pissing off everyone I can without dying," Wrex gave a bright bloodthirsty smile at that before clasping my shoulder with his hand.

"What all Krogan aspire to do. Now," he stated before he turned back to Shepard. "What's the reason for your visit," before Shepard could answer the Krogan Wrex had been talking with spoke up.

"What is the meaning of this Wrex. These are outsiders and their Krogan is a Tank-bred abomination. I can smell his filth from here."

"Uvenk. Know. Your. Place," Wrex growled turning to stare at Uvenk.

Uvenk , to his credit, didn't back down at all and instead took a step forward. His step was immediately met by Wrex taking a step as well and delivering a massive headbut to Uvenk. Stumbling away Uvenk took one look at us before deciding to cut his losses and left. Muttering under his breath about something but I don't think anyone heard him.

"He gonna be a problem?" Shepard asked as we watched Uvenk leave with his entourage.

"Bah! Uvenk's more bluster than he his anything; he won't do or try anything directly. If he does anything it'll be with about as much subtlety as he can muster."

"So, nothing at all regardless then," Garrus got out getting a booming laugh from Wrex.

"Forgot you had wit Bird. Ah do I wish I could join you Shepard like the good old days but these idiots would start to kill each other the moment I'm off planet," Wrex let out a long sigh before turning back around and sitting down on his chair. "So what can I do for you?"

Shepard turned swiveled his head to look at Grunt who looked about ready to start a brawl but was being held back biotically by Jack. Barking out 'Grunt' over to him the Krogan stopped struggling against Jack and looked our way. Shepard then made a 'get over here' gesture and he walked over.

As soon as he arrived Wrex got off his chair and started to inspect Grunt. He didn't say anything as he was being inspected but there was a hint of respect in his eyes as Wrex walked around him. Taking a few sniffs he stopped in front of Grunt before rearing back and delivering a headbutt to him. Grunt stumbled back from the force before he righted himself and straightened up.

Walking back over to Wrex Grunt returned the headbutt. Wrex barely even flinched but there was a gleam in eyes as Grunt did that. Before any of us could say anything Wrex hit Grunt and again he stumbled backwards falling onto his but this time. Still, Grunt got back up and returned the favor to Wrex.

Again Wrex shrugged it off but the gleam in his eye had returned with intensity. It was gone almost instantly though as he slammed his head into Grunt again and he fell backwards onto his back. Before he could start to get up Wrex took a step forward and reached out his hand to Grunt. Grunt looked at incredulously for a moment before taking it.

"You are Tank-bred," were the first words said by Wrex once he had lifted Grunt up.

"I am pure Krogan," he growled back. Wrex gave him a smile before looking over to Shepard and myself.

"There is nothing wrong with the pup, he is coming of age and must go through the Rite. Speak to the Shaman, he will set the pup on the path."

"Thanks Wrex," Shepard stated as Wrex sat back down on his throne.

"Think nothing of it Shepard. It's the least I can do; you got me my Families armor back and set me on this path," Shepard nodded and walked off with Grunt, Garrus and Tali following him. I, however, stayed and Wrex gave me a curious look.

"Two weeks ago a scientist was kidnapped by the Blood Pack. Don't know what for but a friend called in a favor with me so I didn't ask," Wrex pondered what I said for a moment before nodding.

"I'll have a couple scouts check the area, see if they can find anything in the surrounding area. If they do I'll let you know… you will owe me," I gave a nod of assent which he responded to with a nod of his own and then I left speedwalking a little to catch up with the rest of the group.

As I arrived at with the others I got to witness Uvenk's outrage at Grunt asking for the Shaman to help them perform the Rite. The Shaman simply looked at Uvenk and shook his head in either disappointment or some other emotion. Either way the Shaman's emotions didn't stay the same for long as Shepard took one step towards Uvenk and headbutted the Krogan.

Uvenk, in either surprise or weakness, stumbled backwards. There was nothing on his face for a moment before he growled and marched back up to Shepard only to be stopped by the Shaman's words.

"This human is more Krogan than you are now Uvenk. Cease your squabble and leave," his words were dismissive and with him not even looking at Uvenk as he said them really put it home. Uvenk growled and whispered a couple words to Shepard who didn't respond at all and continued to stare impassively at the Krogan. When Uvenk turned around he turned right into me and stopped in his tracks.

"Move human," he growled. I continued to just stare impassively at him contemplating my options. I chose to continue to just stare at the Krogan impassively which seemed to infuriate him even more. Rearing his head back to headbutt me my pistol was already in my hands and pressed up against his neck, angled upwards so that the bullet would hit his brain. .

He stopped immediately at feeling the cold steel of my 1911 pressed against his neck. His two lackeys didn't though as they raised their guns at me. This prompted everyone to raise their guns at the lackeys who upon seeing their situation lowered their guns. Uvenk looked angered at this betrayal but they didn't really have much choice in the matter.

"Lower your gun Red Eyes. There will be no killing on neutral ground," the Shaman spoke, their voice cutting through the tension. I didn't respond verbally but did lower my gun back into its holster. Uvenk growled at me but when I still didn't move to let him pass he walked around me. I didn't even pay attention to him and just kept looking at the Shaman, Grunt and Shepard.

From their the conversation proceeded as normal and it came down to who would be Grunt's Krantt*. He could only pick two and they would help him during the Rite as it was a perilous process and not all survived. Another reason why the Krogan were a dying race in my mind; like Spartans of old. Only the best came out but not all lived, destroying their numbers.

That being said I wasn't surprised when he labeled both Shepard and myself as his Krantt. The Shaman too didn't look surprised at all. From there he told us to go to the truck and that we would be leaving within 10 minutes. At that info Shepard addressed the rest of the crew to not do anything stupid and just wait it out. Then we began walking to the truck.

Getting to the truck we three piled in. A couple of minutes later the Shaman told us that the Truck would take us to the sacred site of the Rite and it would be up to us to start it. Once the Bell had been struck three times then a transport would be on its way to pick us up but we would have to survive until the Transport came. He stressed that there was no guarantee of anything during the Rite, to be careful and to bring glory to clan Urdnot.

It took about 15 minutes or so for the truck to get to the location before the driver shouted at us to get out over the intercom. Not responding we opened the back door and jumped out. As soon as Grunts feet hit the ground the truck swerved around and took off back the way it had come.

Surveying the surrounding area with my Mattock up it looked exactly like you would expect an apocalyptic world to look. Desolate with ruble and destroyed buildings lining the horizon in every direction. Evidence of shootouts and artillery evident everywhere, not to mention the blood stained rubble and what had to be acid burns in the area. I wonder how much blood you have to spill to stain something for years.

Either way once I got a tap on my shoulder I stopped surveying the area and turned to follow Shepard who was following Grunt. Pushing straight west we stumbled across a couple of decomposing Krogan bodies. Around one of them were these red crab looking things eating the remains of the Krogan.

Grunt took it out with a single shotgun blast and the thing proceeded to explode knocking Grunt backwards onto his back. Shepard immediately started watching the area for any more of them while I ran up to Grunt. Checking him over for a moment I gave him a thumbs up, no visible injuries, before helping him back up.

Once he was up he walked forward tapping Shepard on the shoulder as he passed. Thus we resumed our march and didn't find anything. That being said a couple of scans showed that we were being followed and/or hunted. More closely to hunted but because of the scans they wouldn't get to us.

Either way whatever was hunting us didn't bother to attack and just surveyed. That is until we found a clearing with a couple of stairs on the left leading to a platform. Going up onto the platform was a button and about 100 feet beyond it was a bell. Looking between each other Shepard and I backed away and set up near the stairs. Once we were there Grunt hit the button and the bell boomed outwards.

For a moment nothing happened after the Bell was sounded but then came the growls and Varren started jumping over the edges of the clearing and charging us. Shepard reacted instantly firing off a Singularity into the biggest pack we could see, six of them. As soon as they were caught in the Singularity I fired off an Overload at it and it boomed outwards in a biotic explosion ripping the varrren to shreds.

As soon as the Overload was out of my omni-tool I grabbed and threw a grenade at another couple of varren, four of them. It landed right into the middle of them and shredded them. Not to be outdone Grunt activated Overkill on his Claymore shotgun and although it had little range it acted as an AA-12. It ripped apart the eight varren that had been charging him like they were paper.

There were more varren to deal with though and Grunt took the brunt of their attacks being the biggest target. Both Shepard and I took turns covering him while we covered the other during Grunts attacks. It was incredibly effective as within a minute we had killed all of the varren in the area and the ones we hadn't had ran.

We sat there in surprise that the fight had gone as quickly as it had. So, all we had to do now was wait for the bell to be ready to be rung again. Didn't take much longer before there was a little chime and the button began talking. I didn't really pay attention to it opting to continue to watch the area but Grunt and Shepard did.

Once it was done speaking Grunt hit the button again ringing the bell. This time instead of howls there was this clicking noise like pincer cracking together. Then we got to see the crab like red monsters crawling over the edges of the clearing. Getting a better look at them this time around them they were grotesque looking but slow targets.

Made killing them easy even if they were more durable then the Varren. They couldn't stand up to Grunt's shotgun and their armor broke after only a couple shots from the Mattock. The only problem we ran into was when we were maybe halfway through their number Grunt ran out of ammo. As did Shepard; this is why you stick with the original thermal clips.

"Search the dead bodies for clips. I'll cover you both!" I shouted as I threw two grenades at the red crabs.

Due to their durability and the poor throws I had the grenades didn't do much other than annoy and get their attention. The very thing I was aiming for as I started moving towards them which was a big mistake. The fuckers could breath fire and did so as soon as I got close. Only my paranoia at seeing one take a big inhale had saved me from being roasted. My shields should've held but I wasn't about to risk it.

Diving out of the way of the fire breath I got up and dived away again as another breathed fire at me. Rolling over onto my back I took aim with my Mattock and put shots through the two closest eyes. They screamed in inhuman rage and thrashed about giving me time to grab a grenade and slide it under them taking them both out.

With that done I started backing away firing at them enough to get their attention but not enough slow enough to stay in their breathing range. That is until I got a shout from Shepard and broke away from the red crabs and they were hit with an absolute barrage of biotic and Carnage round fire. There were no more crabs after that.

Looking back to Shepard and Grunt they each gave me nods and I went back to my original position as the bell chimed once again. Again I didn't listen to what was going on as I knew there was one more round but I couldn't remember with what.

When he hit the bell again after it was done talking the entire area went silent. No clicking, no howls, nothing. Hitting my pulse there was nothing on the scanner either. The reason became evident as I saw something kicking up a cloud of dust and rock as it approached us. All three of us shared looks knowing exactly what we were about to face.

Knowing that we all proceeded to get into the best cover we could find and not a moment too soon. The fucking Thresher Maw popped out of the ground and sent a glob of acid right where Grunt had been a moment before he slid into cover. Exhanging glances from cover as the Maw looked on with impatience we all nodded and knew what to do.

All three of us popped out of cover at the same time. Shepard threw consecutive Warps at the Maw before immediately dropping back into cover and holding his head gingerly. I popped out of cover sending an Overload and a grenade at the Maw. The Overload hitting it directly in its mouth eliciting a scream from it as the electricity shocked the creature as it reared its head upwards. The grenade blew up right around it's neck from it rearing its head and took a chunk out of the side of the neck. Finally, when Grunt popped out he fired a Carnage round and it squarely right where my grenade had taken a chunk out of it ripping out even more of its neck.

I wished that combination had outright killed it but it just screamed and rage and dropped back down into its hole digging around the clearing. Looking at Shepard I sent him a thumbs up, one that he returned; overloading his implant wouldn't be good.

When the Maw next popped up it did so to our right and we didn't had enough time to dive into better cover. Though since it was so close to the right side and it came out so much it never noticed Grunt below its vision focusing instead on Shepard and I. Firing a glob of acid at me I knew I wouldn't be able to avoid it so instead I raised my augmetic and prayed for the best.

My prayers were answered when my Wall caught the acid and I sent it right back. The acid hit it right into its beady eye and elicited an ear splitting screech. Shepard followed this up by sniping its other other eye eliciting another screech of anger. That wasn't the end though as Grunt activated his Overkill right under the Maw and ripped into its neck chunks of Maw flying everywhere as it screeched in pain before diving back below the ground.

Watching it kick up dust as it went around the clearing it finally stopped on the left side and Shepard sprinted over to my side as his cover would be ineffective from that side. As he did that Grunt sprinted over to the left side and slid down next to the wall.

Again it jumped out of its new made hole but we were more ready this time eliciting the same attack as we had the first time around. The dual Warps from Shepard, the grenade and Overload from me and the Carnage round from Grunt. All hitting the Maw in its mouth and it screamed for a moment not even able to get an attack off before it flopped down almost crushing Grunt as it did so.

Still, as it laid on the ground it wasn't dead. Grunt walked around its mouth and faced it looking dead at it before he activated his overkill again and continued to fire until there was nothing left of its face but a singular tooth. Grunt grabbed it and ripped it off, saying it was for proof that we had killed a Maw.

Almost immediatley after we had finished the Maw we saw a shuttle fly overhead. Nodding to each other we jumped over the fence and made our way there. Getting there though we didn't see any of the Urdnot soldiers and instead it was just Uvenk and four of his guards. At seeing me he growled out in anger but I didn't bother giving him the light of day focusing instead on the two guards on the right, Shepard focused on the two on the left. Grunt walked straight up to Uvenk.

"I am impressed with your accomplishment Tank born. Very few have ever killed a Maw during their Rite, Urdnot Wrex was the last. Join my clan and be born again as a true Krogan."

"I'm already a true Krogan," was all Grunt said before firing point blank into Uvenk with his shotgun.

From there I charged the two Krogan on my side putting away my Mattock, raising my wall and bringing out my knife as I did so. Catching their first couple shots with the Wall I sent the rounds right back at them putting them on the back foot and that's all I needed. Slicing the closest one in the leg he was paralyzed by the Rachni poison almost immediately. The other didn't have any time at all to react as he had been hit harder by the repulse of my Wall and got stabbed in his side.

With both Krogan immobilised I took out my pistol and put it right under their chins pulling the trigger. The hollow point rounds when through their necks and straight into their skulls killing them without a problem. As I finished up my Krogan I looked over to Shepard and he was fighting only one of his two; the other one lying in a pool of their own blood.

Walking past the still fighting Grunt and Uvenk I put a round into the downed Krogan just to make sure. By the time I did that Shepard had finished the other Krogan and had double tapped him as well to make sure. It was better that way.

When we were both finished we stood side by side and watched Grunt and Uvenk go at it in hand to hand. Uvenk was slowing considerably and only a matter of seconds later Grunt had flipped Uvenk over his shoulder, a move I know he had seen me do to Jack in our sparring sessions. Before he raised his foot and stomped on Uvenks head until it was just a bleeding mess of nothing; just like Uvenk was, nothing.

"You good Grunt?" Shepard asked. Grunt just smiled back and Shepard took that as an acknowledgment.

A couple of minutes later another shuttle appeared and a couple of Urdnot soldiers jumped out ready for a fight. When they saw the other dead Krogan and the dead Maw in the background though they lowered their guns and let us get on the shuttle. From there we flew back to Wrex's base camp in silence. Though the entire time Grunt finally seemed calm and collected, like he had before I had been kidnapped.

Once we arrived back at the base Wrex was waiting for us and sent both Shepard and I subtle smiles as he saw us both alive and relatively unscathed. At that though I jumped out of the shuttle and walked by him giving him a nod of the head, one he returned. As I passed him he focused solely on Grunt and began talking to him with Shepard.

Walking over to the bar the bartender looked at me for a moment before making my favorite drink, a Clear Krogan Rage. Nodding my head in thanks I took off my helmet partially to slam the drink back. Sliding the drink over to the bartender's side I left the bar and my way over to where Tali was only to see Jack right next to her. Betting on the Varren fights.

"YES!" Jack screamed as I guess her Varren won the fight. Tapping Tali on the shoulder she turned and saw me giving me a wide grin behind her mask as she saw me. Taking off my mask I kissed the top of her hers before resting my forehead against her mask for a moment. Pulling away I saw her face behind the mask and it seemed to brighten even more.

"Either go back to the Normandy or do it somewhere private!" Jack shot out as she saw our interaction. I was about to respond but Tali beat me to it.

"How about you go grab Shepard then," Jack looked stunned at her words before sitting down and mumbling to herself. I couldn't help the small chuckle that escaped my lips.

POV: Eschucivi Dash

Doing more research into Essence I couldn't help but be disappointed. Not with it itself but with myself, I wanted to be the best of everything. There have only ever been four of us who could achieve Essence and I had no doubt the boy would be number five. Athame, Phaelgda who led Asari to the Citadel, Vondok the Krogan who led their Rebellion and myself. However, only Athame was able to achieve Total Sync. Where the Avatar they release mirrors their actions.

It was something that no one achieves. And I will be the first since Athame to do so. I demand it of myself and I will not be denied.

It hasn't been that long since I last fought the boy but I couldn't wait for the next opportunity. There was something about him that just screamed at me to fight him. It had to be that we were almost equal in all aspects. I was almost a god when it came to fighting and he was well on his way to being the same as myself. We were the best of the best.

Still, I didn't know when there would be an opportunity again… That is until my terminal lit up with a message from one of my informants. Apparently T'Soni was preparing to move on the Shadow Broker. Shepard will go there and so will Aedon, finally. Our second meeting, time to teach you a lesson young one. So much to learn and so much you do not yet know.

Fight with all you have boy and impress me or die as someone unworthy to teach. But I know you, you won't be unworthy. You wouldn't have made it this far alive if you were unworthy.

As history provides only the greatest of all time will survive throughout the years. From Athame to Ivan the Terrible, people who have lived throughout every age will become someone who is more than what they truly are.

Still, when the boy and I fight our final time, not our next time, our final time we will be remembered as the greatest warriors of all time. For we will be better than everyone before us. They do not deserve to be even on our pedestal. They will be cast down by the greatenest of our battles as we shall show the galaxy that we are LEGENDARY!

There we go folks. Mordin's up next. Hope you enjoyed and don't forget to review.
