Let's GOO people. Time for it to go
POV: Red Eyes
It's been a day since Mordin's mission and throughout that time my helmet has continued to speak to me. A sentence here, a word there; it was inconsistent but it was there. The only thing that stopped me from thinking that I was being indoctrinated was the fact that it was never asking me to do anything. It never promised power, a better life, anything; all it did was talk to me. Like a separate personality; and if that wasn't almost as scary.
That being said my helmet was surprisingly protective of everyone on the ship but also violently agressive at any point in time. It was weird and something that did concern me but at the moment I couldn't be asked to care. If it wanted to talk to me it would talk to me and I wasn't about to be taking any drugs to help with that bullshit. Besides, it gave the people that mattered praise; Tali, Garrus, Shepard, Mordin, Jack and Grunt.
We were just about a day out from Illium now; it wouldn't be much longer. Miranda had already given Shepard, Garrus and myself the briefing on what we would be going up against. We were supposed to make contact with the contact from the guy watching over her sister and then find a way to eliminate the threat or get her sister off planet. Either way it was a pretty straightforward mission and we already had the time slotted for when to meet her contact.
As for now though I was making my way to Shepard's room. It has been long enough and I want a crack at the Asari prisoner we were still holding onto. I had a few things planned for her and none of them would be pleasant or… well humane. Pretty sure that I would be arrested in every universe for what I plan on doin g to her. Well, not Wolfenstein if I worked for the Nazi's but that ain't ever gonna happen.
Knocking on the door he shouted for me to come in. I did so and simply said 'Asari' and he nodded his head. After our quick talk I made my way to the interrogation room and made sure my ax was sharpened. I actually sat there sharpening my ax with full regalia and to my immense pleasure I wouldn't have to wait long. The Asari was escorted in by Grunt who promptly plopped the Asari in the chair and binded her to it with her hands on the table.
Giving a nod to Grunt he left the room and I was right behind him. Going into the watching area it was just Shepard and Grunt there. Good, I didn't want anyone else to see what I'm about to do. These two can take it; hell Grunt might cheer. Either way when I took my helmet off and gave a meaningful look to Shepard he got the message quickly. I didn't want anyone else here.
Leaving the room and heading back into the interrogation room I brought my ax as soon as the Asari opened her mouth. Before she could utter a single word I slammed my ax down on her left elbow severing the arm in one swing. She looked horrified for a moment as she opened her mouth to scream. Slapping her across the face with my right hand before she could she was stunned.
It gave me just enough time to activate my Torch construct and press it against her severed elbow joint. She had tears in her eyes instantly and looked about ready for murder but I just kept my smile behind my mask. This is just the beginning but it'll be over quick if she cooperated.
Still, I didn't say anything and just continued to look at her as she seethed in on herself in pain. Grabbing her severed arm I put my torch construct to its severed side and burned that one as well to stop the excessive bleeding in the room. I then grabbed a couple of clean rags from my first aid pouch and handed them to her. She seemed mildly thankful as she was able to clean the blood from herself. Of course it didn't completely get it but it got more than she deserved off.
"I suppose I deserved that?" She spoke in a calm voice as she nursed her new stump of an arm. I could at least respect the way she was handling this; not hysterical.
"How long were you in charge of that place?" was my simple question.
"413 years, give or take a couple months," she was way too calm about this.
"Why children?"
"They're the best test subjects. They adapt better than anyone; it's our natural instinct to adapt as children. It's how every species originally survive," hmm. Fair but not right and that's all I care about now. That and revenge.
"How many of the members of this conspiracy do you know about?"
"There's only 8 heads with the final one in charge. I know five of them including Raros," her voice was quiet as she stared at me taking a quick look at her severed arm. There wasn't fear in her eyes, just curiosity.
"I don't suppose you'll tell me their names?" she smiled at me at my question.
"I could but I have one question for you," I gave a 'go ahead' motion with my hand. "What were you planning on doing with my severed arm?"
"I was planning on feeding it to you if you didn't answer my questions," That got a raised eyebrow from her as she looked at the arm and then back to me a couple of times before giving me a smile.
"Quick, effective, fearful, cost effective, beyond psychologically damaging and something you premeditated. You have a whole torture plan painted out don't you?" I gave a small nod and her smile turned both wicked and disgustingly aroused. "You really would've been a great breeder for our people. With your genes and your mentality oooooo you would have ushered in a new age for us. Especially with your rarity; found it the day of your escape it's no wonder Dashi wanted to fight you. I guarantee you haven't seen the last of her."
"Never expected to get off easy with that woman. From what I know she's the Asari version of me but with 400 years more combat experience and some power that only four people, including her, in all of galactic history have ever had," if it was possible her smile widened even further.
"You'll have it too."
"I doubt it, I'm no where near that powerful in biotics. Now, about those na-"
"You can drain people and absorb their power, it's how Adrak Yakshi's get stronger and you are no different. Absorb enough and you'll match her; besides that isn't everything you have going for you," when I made the mistake of actually listening to the madwoman she continued talking. What can I say, I was curious about what she had to say.
"It would take a lot of drai-"
"I don't care about that. What's the other thing?" I cut her off but I wasn't going to let her talk about how many I would need to drain. It would take thousands and that's not something that could happen.
"You have the Warrior's Gene. You feel nothing when you kill, you don't admit it to others but death and war give you excitement not sexually but you feel at home in their midst. And through it all only someone like you could go through what you did and come out the other side fine. You were literally born for war; tests and history do not lie.
Here's another little tidbit how I know you'll achieve Essence. Phaelgda, Vondok and Dashi all had or have it in Dashi's case. However you became to be on this stage of the Galaxy, it was pure genetic destiny," Crazy bitch. Sociopath. You forged your own path here, only your mentors and God guided you. She knows nothing. Guess the voice wanted in on this.
"Names. Now," I growled out having finished with this conversation. She raised her hand placatingly before I activated the audio recording function on my omni-tool and looking meaningfully at her. Still, she gave me an almost ear splitting grin before talking.
"Matriarch… they're all Matriarchs by the way. Ditriyne, Caleto, Corlishi, Miqua and of course Raros. Those are all the names I know," I stayed silent as I quickly looked up the names through the internet and all their names popped up. All highly regarded in Asari society; I would need a lot of evidence to not be caught to get away with this. This won't be easy. Nothing good ever is, you must make your own way.
"Why help me with this?" the 'so easily' went unsaid because I'll be honest. I was definitely hoping she would be difficult and then I would have had an excuse to torture her.
"Because after you're finished with the Collectors and go after them I know you'll become so much stronger," she licked her lips in anticipation before continuing. "I want to see you at your apex; and I know the Asari will fall overthemselves to get to you when they see it too. You won't be able to resist, especially with that shitty suit rate as your mate right now, and someone will get an Asari child out of you; that child will lead Asari to a knew golden age. Kill these Asari puppetmasters for all I care; my job was to get the Asari to the genetic destiny and you, the key, just happen to pop into my lap.
Never would've thought that The Torchbearer, Red Eyes, Aedon Wynne; whatever you call yourself would be the key. The Asari don't know but I do know and it will be glorious," I just glared at her throughout the whole spiel. I almost lost my shit when she talked about Tali that way, I've heard that shit too much to deal with it honestly. This shit is why I hate Asari, parasites.*
All in all this interrogation did not got the way I planned but at this point, with how crazy this woman was. Standing up I left the room and went into the observation room. Grunt and Shepard were still staring at the Asari as I entered the room and both in opened mouth shock. Though they both broke out of their trances when I entered the room. We each looked at each other for a few moments before I reached down and grabbed my pistol lifting it up pointing at it with my opposite hand.
Shepard looked at it for a moment thinking on it before he shook his head. Yeah, she probably still had information to give and with how batshit crazy she is about this she might just be willing to give it all. She was worth more alive than dead currently and I loathed to admit that. Pushing down my rising anger at that I tried to calm down but it was futile so I left the room going back to my room. I had research to do.
It took a couple hours to finish up the research on the names that the scientist had given me and my anger only rose with what I found. Now, if they were pieces of wilth that were generally crappy I wouldn't have been as mad but these guys were practically saints. Gave back to the poor, built up communities, made sure companies paid their dues, stopped exploitation of workers and younger people. From everything I could find they were legitimately good people, even Raros and she was confirmed to be with them.
I would need everything from Liara on Raros and these people once we landed on Illium. There wasn't about to be any information that I would be able to find that would actually matter for anything they had hidden behind the wall of press. Liara or possibly the Shadow Broker would have to pull through for me. Speaking of that I've heard Liara is poking hairs with the Broker; wonder if she'll go after him.
Still, after the failure of going through everything my research could give me I went down to the shooting range and put in work. I was there for a solid hour and a half firing at all the targets in rapid sucession and even putting in a couple of exercises for quick acquisition. Max speed to test myself the hardest, it was a 10 minute long exercise and that was not pleasant.
Either way, when I finished that exercise I went back to my room and cleaned my guns before heading to the gym, still in a full kit. I worked on my knife and ax combat for a while going through my mind and recreating the fight against Dashi as best as I could. If she wanted a piece of me than I'd take a chunk of her before it was done.
Once another 45 minutes of training were done I worked the bag beating it for another 30. At the end of it all I was a sweaty mess and tired; both mentally and physically. Making my way back to my room and got undressed as soon as I was in the room. Cleaning my armor of as much sweat as I could I went and took a shower before dressing in only my underwear. Then began to meditate, cross legged and everything. Nothing spiritual about it, just something to do and pass the time and it calmed the boiling anger still on the surface. I don't know how long it was when I heard Tali start to talk.
"You know, I have to say the most heinous thing those Asari Bosh'tets did to you was shave your beard. I miss it," Tali said from the door as she leaned up against its side. Opening my eyes I gave her a kind smile.
"I'm already working on it," I have been, the beard was coming back but it wasn't much more than a stubble at the moment. I had a long way to go before it would be as luscious as it was before. I miss it.
"Though, I wouldn't mind if you kept it at a stubble," she said stalking up to me hips swaying along the way and I couldn't help the chuckle lowering my head to the ground in the process. That chuckle stopped dead in my throat as she got onto a knee and tickled the underside of my chin with her fingers forcing my face up to look into her eyes. "It hides too much of your face."
"Maybe I'll just have to make you want to hide it then," yes, I said that as suggestively as possible.
"Hmm, I'm sure I could think of a few ideas how I could hide your face," she reached up a hand and took off her mask smiling at me, her fangs showing.
"Now, I think that mask hides to much of your face," pathetic, you are pathetically sappy
"Soon," that was all that needed to be said as she went in. It was a deep and feeling kiss, not really filled with lust or passion but more… something else. Not yet; still before it could continue or develop into something more there was a knock on the door. Both Tali and I shared very unamused glances but when they knocked again, more like banged their fist against the door, I sighed and answered the banging; in just my underwear. At my door was Jack looking… not spooked but just unsure of herself.
"Can we talk?" I simply opened the door farther and stepped out of the way gesturing for her to come in. Tali gave her a curious glance silently asking Jack as she walked if she should leave but Jack shook her head. Taking that to heart Tali sat down on the bed, her mask already back on.
"What's going on Jack?" I asked sitting in my chair still only clad in my underwear.
"Two things," Tali and I shared a quick look silently sharing where we thought this was going. "First, Miranda asked me to accompany her on the mission with you three. Don't know how I feel about helping the Cerberus cheerleader but after everything it doesn't feel right for me to help her," Jack was pacing as she talked and once she stopped talking she looked to me for an answer.
"I know you don't have a family beyond us Jack but what would you do if any of us were taken and you had the opportunity to stop it or get us back?" She responded instantly.
"I'd kill everything in my path to get to you."
"There's your answer," I stated throwing out my hand. "Miranda's sister is in danger and she's asking for us to help. No matter our opinion of her we should help," Jack slowly nodded her head in understanding and acceptance. "And number two?"
"Shepard… asked me out. Like an actual date and everything. He said we should do it after this whole Collector business but he was serious," Tali and I exchanged glances and I was so happy for Jack.
"Well, what did you say?" I asked.
"I… bolted and came straight here," Tali threw her hands up in the air groaning at the same time. I didn't say or do anything but I let out a suffering sigh.
"Do you like him?" she nodded her head. "Do you think there is something there besides the sex?" again a nod. "Then take a chance Jack. If you do nothing you'll only regret it and with the Collector mission being near suicidal you'll want everything out in the air."
Jack didn't say anything besides taking a couple of deep breaths and looking at me nodding her head determinedly. As soon as she did she left the room. Once she did I went over to Tali who was sitting back up now and kissed her mask. She quickly took it off and I spared a moment to lock the door before continuing.
The next day I woke up early and immediately got my gear on. I knew that we would be leaving relatively early for Miranda's mission. Sure enough too as soon as I left my room Shepard was already there just about to knock on my door. Seeing me already kitted out and ready for the fight he gave a nod and I followed him to the shuttle.
Miranda and Jack were already there and they may have been at odds for now there was an unsaid respect between the two. I feel like I played a direct role in that but who knows at this point. Maybe I'm just a decent influence on Jack; everyone needs a good mentor and I for sure I did. Either way once Shepard and I walked up we jumped into the Shuttle and went down with Pequad giving us a ride.
The ride was silent as we went through the entry procedures on Illium and instead of docking at the main shuttle port we went to a little hide away. I didn't mind either way but when we exited I made sure to keep an extra watchful eye out. When we landed I didn't see anything but kept my guard up nonetheless.
Exiting the shuttle Miranda took the lead and led us to a little cafe on the corner. As we walked into the cafe an Asari who was leaning with her back against the wall propped up and walked towards us. She had the look of a seasoned smuggler and someone who could be bought, I didn't trust her.
"Miss Lawson, glad you made it. We have a complication. Your man Niket got in contact with me and told me that your father sent Eclipse Mercs to make a sweep and were watching for you specifically. He offered to take Orianna's family personally to the terminal."
"Tell him to do it, we'll meet him at the shuttle to ensure nothing else goes wrong," the Asari nodded before opening her omni-tool and sending a message to Niket. Once she was done with the message she turned back to us.
"Here's the coordinates for where you'll need to go to meet up with Niket. The closest hanger is a click away so you'll have to deal. Sorry, but he picked the place," we all nodded as she sent the coordinates to Miranda.
Once she did she walked off and Miranda took off in the direction of the shuttle port at a brisk walk. The rest of us followed her but by the time we caught up to her she had already ordered a shuttle and it was landing right as we got there. She opened the door and got in the drivers seat and the rest of us piled in with Shepard taking Shotgun.
We got barely a few minutes into the drive before I saw Eclipse drop ships off our side. I gave a simple 'hmm' at seeing them and the rest of the people in the shuttle turned to look out the window. It got a couple of exasperated sighs out of the rest of us. Though for the life of me for them to know exactly where we were already reeked of someone betraying us. My money was on the Asari but without further evidence I wouldn't go much farther, my current opinion of Asari made me very biased.
Still, the gunships landed before we did and when they dropped off their troops all of them started to light us up. Diving the shuttle downwards we took the brunt of the fire but Miranda made sure to angle the shuttle away from most of the fire as we landed. It wasn't a pleasant landing but far from the worst I've ever had.
As we all got out of the shot up shuttle we stalked forwards towards were there were already a bunch of Eclipse mercs waiting for us. Some human with a weird looking beard in tech armor started talking first. Being totally honest I didn't much care for any of the words that he said and instead looked around for anything that could be used to our advantage. That's when I spotted a tanker labeled with explosives signatures being hauled above everyone.
Once I spotted it I sent a click over the radio to Shepard. He immediately sent one back and I took that as a confirmation. Lifting my gun I fired and hit the hinge holding the tanker up and it dropped down. As soon as it hit the ground it exploded on the ground and sent a couple of the Eclipse soldiers flying.
Shepard and Jack used this distraction to our benefit charging the Eclipse soldier and his lackey who seemed to be in charge. Shepard grabbed the guy who had been in Tech armor and wrenched his neck to the side breaking it like a twig. To compliment that Jack unleashed a point blank shot blast on the 'leaders' subordinate obliterating his chest.
From there we charged forward and blitzed the Eclipse soldiers. Of the eight or so remaining after the explosion they didn't last at all. From the ferocity of Jack, Miranda's support and Shepard and I's determination they literally had no shot. We massacred them and when it was over Jack and myself were covered in blood. Her from her shotgun blasts ripping people apart and me from my shots hitting arteries and sending blood everywhere from close range. It was kinda fun
After we had taken care of everything close to us we started to push through the path. We didn't get far at all before mechs started to assault us. With no shields they were generally easy to kill but they were annoying. Still they were easily killable and we simply followed the path the map showed for us for where we needed to go.
We ran into a couple of Eclipse soldiers along the way but with how everything was positioned it was pathetically easy to kill them. They stood next to no chance against us and we didn't even bring everyone. The tight corners of the cargo containers would've hampered our big group but that didn't discard the fact that every time we entered them we were the dominant party. The Eclipse soldiers were running scared literally but they never got far; we always gunned them down.
When it was all over we continued on our way and got to the lift. Jumping in the lift we rode it all the way up to the top in silence checking our weapons over. As the lift stopped and the door opened we got to see the leader of the Eclipse for this mission talking to a human man. I didn't know who he was but from the gasp from Miranda I had to guess that the man was Niket. My curiosity was confirmed quickly.
"Niket, why are you working for them?"
"You took your sister from everything. I could do it for you because you grew up there but she didn't know. She had no idea and you had no right to take that from her!" he shouted at her without remorse. Silently taking this in I looked to the others and readied myself for a fight.
"I took her from a life of suffering under our fathers thumb!"
"And you joined Cerberus, he supports them. You led her from one hell and joined it yourself, you deserve nothing," his words were scathing and I saw the action they had on Miranda. She closed her eyes brimming with tears that were there but she held them back before looking at Niket with absolute determination etched across her entire stature.
"You failed everything that I hoped you would be," she spoke calmly before raising her gun and shot him. No one stopped and her and no one made a move as she shot Niket through the chest, straight through the mans heart. I couldn't find it in myself to care, once a traitor always a traitor and they deserve no mercy; ever.
Once she did that through the whole fight started and I sprang to the left hoping to get the ones on the side a surprise. It worked minimally at the beginning as they hadn't expected me to act so fast but I knew better. Fast and reacting fast is how you survive in combat. Still, with their shields they were able to drop into cover before I could really screw with them.
Putting my Mattock away I charged the nearest cover with an Eclispe soldier and jumped over it with my Ax and knife at the ready. They never stood a chance as I jumped over the barrier and buried my ax into the closest Eclipse soldier. The Salairan next to the human I had just killed tried to raise his gun but my knife was already in his neck and through his lightswitch. He was dead before he could even formulate a plan of escape.
From there I pulled back out my Mattock and started blasting anyone that got into my sights. No one was safe from me and I was a man on an absolute mission. No one would stop me from reuniting an older sister with her younger half. Those that would stop me were swiftly dealt with and if they had shields I charged them.
They were deserving of absolutly no remorse or understanding and that's how I treated every Eclipse soldier in my AO. I ran through threm like you would not believe, as if I was a man possessed and in some cases I was a man possessed. Nothing they threw at me could stop me and every thing they wanted would not happen. I would not allow it.
To the point where the last Eclipse soldier who was on my side of the fight was actively fleeing from the fight. They were NOTHING to me and I would repay them in every way for their depravity. They could do nothing to me and I killed all of them in the most simple of ways from my Mattock to my ax and knife. I killed all in our PATH.
When the fighting ended not a minute after I had killed everyone on my side I saw Miranda standing over Nikets body. Walking over to her I didn't say anything as anything I would say would be shallow. I didn't know Niket or his reasonings but what I did know was that Miranda's sister was safe. That's all that mattered to me.
The ones that we couldn't protect and the ones we could had a massive difference. Save everyone you can and God will always shine upon you. It doesn't matter how much you fuck up, HE will always be there for you as long as you give an effort. Still, at the end with Miranda standing over Niket's body with tears brimming on the edge of her eyes I couldn't help but question it. Still, as I saw that I was solidified in my belief; god does not give, he only takes. He takes the best of us to make his kingdom better but I will always have faith in him. It is one of the few things that keep me moving forward.
When it was all over as I said we collectively left the area in silence determined not to mention what had happened. However, Miranda took us to where her sisters family was. She looked on longingly and it hurt. I still remember being an older brother and I still remember being a family man. Even if I don't seem it those memories I will always cherish which is what prompted what I said.
"Miranda… Talk to her," I spoke softly and her head shot to me in both shock and surprise but I continued. "You might not get another opportunity, do it."
She silently nodded and then nodded before she walked forward towards her little sisters. To see her reunite with her little sister hurt so much becuase I was robbed of that opportunity. I miss my little sisters and brother; I miss them so much. They may not have been but the best they were the ones that made me better than what I was. They made me into this machine and this machine will save all of them if I could.
Still, when she walked forward to talk to her little sister I walked away. Not because of any arbitrary reason but because I needed to. I couldn't stay here any longer, I needed… needed to do more important things and as the shuttle picked us up I made up my mind on what I wanted to do.
As we left I let the shuttle drop us off at the secure area for our transactions. Miranda got off but when she left Tali joined me. She didn't say a word to me as she boarded but as she did I requested for the driver to take us to a very specific place I remembered from my time on Illium. I could only hope it was still there.
As we drove through the arial highlights of Illium I was proven true as the driver took me exactly where I wanted. We landed right in front of a Quarian jewelry place and as I exited Tali gave me curious glance. I shrugged it off and went straight into the shop. The Quarian shop owner greeted me in surprise as he never expected me to be here but I couldn't blame him.
However, as I entered the shop Tali followed me. She was absolutely astounded by all the quarian jewelery in this place and I couldn't blame her. This place was ran by a quarian for quarians looking for anything. Still, when Tali was window shopping with extreme extragagence I found a simple trinket and bought it while she was enamored with everything around her.
When I pulled away from everything she saw me and followed out of, I hope, pure curiosity. As we exited the area and I brought my simple trinket to her as she settled by the shuttle. She was quiet as I approached her and when I presented it to her she gasped. It was a quarian necklace of Everlasting. It was a symbol saying that I would always be with her, through thick and thin. It didn't constitute marriage but it was the closest thing to it.
When she saw it and how I presented it to her she let out a choked sob a moment after she gasped. It was me saying that I would do everything that I could do for her. In the purest of terms it was me saying that I loved her beyond anything. Even if I was too scared to actually say the words… I loved Tali. Through thick and thin. She wasn't perfect but who in this age was, no one. I will fight heaven and hell for her.
About god damn time
POV: Juni T'Kari
As I approached the grave that had been my fathers I couldn't help the helplessness that enveloped me. I pushed it away as I couldn't live being something that he couldn't live up to. My father was something that every person dreams of being. A revolutionary for the geth, a man of the people of the Quarian and and a man who loved everything in his path.
That was something that no one could touch but yet everyone did. Not because they matched what he was made of but because they wanted to emulate it. He was something that no one could ever hope to touch. The only person who could touch him was my son and he was beyond anything my father could ever achieve. He was beyond a mercenary, he was beyond a hero, he was beyond everything and I pray to Athame that when his time comes it is beyond anything we could hope for.
The only problem with that was that when everyone prayed for one thing the benefactor of all those prayers died. No matter what they did they always died and I was determined to write that path. My son would not follow those foolish people to death and he would survive to the end. No one could stop him; I knew it in my heart of hearts.
Still, as I approached the grave of my father I recognized someone who was already there. My mother, she was already looking over my fathers grave. She did it silently, covered in a cloak of reverence and as much as I wanted to attack her I couldn't. My father and her husband was something I couldn't attack, she loved him as I did. Unconditionally.
"You know I will have to kill you?" was her only words as I approached the grave with her. I stood next to her in silence for a couple of seconds before responding.
"You can't kill me. You and I both know it."
"I will, it is the only way to save my son."
"Your son will surpass me but he has such a long way to go. You failed him when you didn't pick your sword back up."
"I don't care what you say or whatever logic you use. Aedon will kill you if I don't mother… I wish father was here to see this."
"I do too… he could've stopped everything the selfless bastard… but the Quarians killed him for protecting the Geth who didn't want to fight."
"I know… Still, I wish he was here to see what you've become. I wonder what he would say… He was too good for either of us huh?"
"Far too good for monsters like us."
"You're the only one who became a monster mom. I just wish I had been a better daughter, because I may have been able to save you from what you've become."
"I became what I am because of him. I became a monster for him! Aedon, your son, will eclipse everything that we are. And he will only get there because of me!"
There was silence between the two of us for the longest time after her outburst. We stared silently at my father's grave and as the silence settled in we entered an unspoken agreement. I set my sword on one side of his grave and she set hers on the other. We may have settled here for what we are but it won't end. It never will until one of us proves victorious and I know Aedon will. He's better than everything I could ever imagine. He is my son and my legacy, he is my greatest creation ever.
He will achieve Total Sync. He will achieve something that hasn't been done since Athame. He will do it. I just know it… not because he is my son but because of something more. I just know it; HE WILL DO IT! He has to, everything depends on him.
Aedon vs everything and HE will come out on top. It is his determination, his wrath, his strength but most of all. It is his WILL that will put everyone through what is to come. He is better than I could ever hope to be and he is someone who the galaxy cannot contain. He will become a god, I know it.
There we go folks. Coming up on a massive milestone for me. I never in my life thought I would ever get to 1K followers but we're right on the cusp of it. Y'all make this story the best. I love each and every one of you and I'm sooooo happy you've given your time to me and my story.
*1: Asari are his #2 most hated race. It wasn't really explained in the chapter but it's essentially that he views them as parasites. Which all things considered they actually fit that description very well. Anyways, he hates the race; not the people.
