Here we go folks. Don't forget to Review!
POV: Aedberer Eyes
I woke up the next morning with Tali curled up into my arms with her face buried into the crook of my neck. It was a great feeling compounded by her little snoring. It was more of a humm of happiness every couple of seconds. Hell, I might make the comparison to when a cat purrs but it wasn't really like that. It was more of a throat vibration then a whole body one like when cats purr.
Either way I did try to untangle myself from her but each time I tried she just tightened her grip. Sighing in exasperation I started to tickle her sides. It usually didn't work with her suit so I had to dig my fingers into her side for it to work. She woke up a few moments later giggling at what was going on.
That stopped after a moment though as she pulled back one of her hands and slapped me playfully on the chest. Muttering 'meanie' as she did so but I just gave her a smile and kissed the top of her mask before finally getting out of bed. Getting dressed I grabbed my weapons and gear before heading to the shooting range.
From there it was my normal workout out for the next couple of hours. An hour in the range working on pure accuracy this time around. After that was the gym, chest and triceps today, and finally working the bag for a little bit. However, after I finished with the bag I brought out my knife and ax and went over all the motions of my fight with Dashi. What could I have done better, where I was lacking, how to anticipate her moves. Which helped with the whole recording I had of it courtesy of Sam.
After doing that I hurt myself a little. I played the video I had taken of Miss T'Kari teaching me after the fight with Dashi. It hurt to see her again but I braved through it and only let a few tears drop inside my helmet. I wasn't healed yet and may never truly be but that doesn't mean I'll let it stop me. I have shit to do in this life.
Watching the video I still made sure to take notes on everything that she said and applied them as much as I could to my shadow fight. Imagining Dashi in front of me and going through every little bit of the fight and applying as much from my mom's lesson as possible. Without someone to actually fight against with the weapons to was hard to guage how much of difference they would actually make but I felt confident in them.
After I was finished working out and everything I made my way back to my room and began my usual process of cleaning up. Armor first and then weapons and then putting the armor back on. I know there technically wasn't a point to be armored at all times on the ship but I was a lot more comfortable that way. My paranoia didn't allow it otherwise.
Which left me in my own room with my own thoughts. I began to meditate instead of just waiting around or doing nothing. That is until I heard my omni-tool go off and looking at it, it was a message from Mordin asking for more blood samples. Sighing to myself I left the comfort of my room and made for Mordin's lab.
Once I was there I set about taking the top half of my armor off and let Mordin do the rest. I simply held out my arm and he disinfected the vein before sticking a needle in and drawing blood. For how advanced we've come as a race and whole galaxy it boggles my mind that using a needle is still the best way to get blood from someone.
As he went through the process of drawing blood he started a casual conversation between us. Something that wasn't exactly unusual but the way he was talking was. He was probing me and testing the waters. It set my paranoia a light but there wasn't anything malicious about it. Just odd for Mordin, well it was until he finally asked what he wanted too.
"Do you plan to impregnate Tali'Zorah?" I will not lie, I had not expected that kind of question at all. It took me a few moments get control back under myself because I wanted to throttle the lizard but held back.
"Not yet and I'd like to not talk about this."
"Pity. Would have loved to research pregnancy. Cross breeding not common beyond Asari; whole new field of study, whole new avenues, could be revolutionary," he spoke in his excited science voice. Something that no matter who you were was just a little bit more creepy than you wanted it to be.
"You'll get your chance Mordin when we win the War. For now, just stay alive and you'll get your shot."
"Disappointing Aedon. Your species does not usually adhere to actual self control in those areas. Was hoping you would be the same as Shepard. Had to supply Jack with birth control," I couldn't help but laugh at the way he said all that. So matter of fact like he was reading the newspaper.
"I am rather unique there I would say Mordin. Now, how about you finish this up so I can make a proper retreat back to my room," Mordin gave a soft chuckle at that before finishing up the last of the vials and putting a bandage over my arm. With that done he gave me a thumbs up and I left back to my room.
Getting inside of my room I started to take apart my weapons and put them back together. There was no real reason for doing it beyond just wasting time but it was soothing in a way. The Mattock went quick enough before I did the same to sawed off but with how little actual parts there were for it, it was boring. I made sure the shells were clean as well, wouldn't matter how clean the weapon was if the bullets were in shit condition.
After those two weapons I started on my pistol. This one took a lot longer and not exactly because of the number of parts. I took the gun apart slowly on purpose on more of a level of respect than anything. This one had been with me through everything; every failure and every triumph. It was a part of me in many ways and I knew it would be with me forever, maybe even give it to my kid.
Still, after I finished taking apart and then putting the gun back together I made sure to clean the bullets. The regular ones went without a hitch, the special ones though was where things got a little weird for me. Just holding them in my augmetic made them spart around my hand and the bullets.
Dropping the first bullet after it started I was worried that it might go off. Slowly picking it up again between two of my augmetic fingers I held it there examining it as it sparked around my fingers until it finally calmed down. When it did though it didn't stop with the biotic weirdness. No, instead of sparking my biotics began to swirl around the bullet in a calm and steady pace.
Putting the bullet down after cleaning I cleaned the rest of them before loading them back into the mag. As I did that I put whatever was going on with them when my augmetic and biotics touched them down as something I wasn't qualified to figure out. Way over my head and I don't know many people who are experts in biotics or eezo. I'll figure it out eventually, probably next time I fire the bullets.
Just as I finished cleaning the bullets and putting them away there was a knock on my door. Unlocking the door from my seat with my omni-tool the door opened and Shepard strolled in with Legion right behind him. I made to ask what was going on but Shepard held up a hand silently asking me to wait. A couple minutes later Garrus walked in with Tali next to him.
She immediately went to where I was sitting at my desk and leaned up against the desk crossing her arms over her chest as she stared down Legion. Despite working together she still didn't like Legion. I couldn't exactly blame her as they did force the Quarians into the life they led now. Even if that life was improving it would be hard for anyone to get over 300 plus years of ingrained hate.
"What's this about Shepard?" I could hear the snark in Tali's voice settling in as she spoke. I lifted a hand and put it comfortably on her shoulder. As for his response to that question he looked over at Legion.
"The Heretics have a base that we have discovered on the edge of Geth space. It will take several days to get there but we believe it to be the best option," Legion stated in a monotone voice. I could feel start to tense to say something back but I squeezed her shoulder with my arm. That stopped her from talking but I definitely heard her muttering a few choice words under her breath.
"Can they be indoctrinated or are they simply following what they think to be right?" I asked staring Legion dead in the… eye?
"They are succeptible to being indoctrinated. We do not know the extent but several that we have recovered had evidence of their code being overwritten. We need to assault the facility and see what can be done."
"You mean destroy them right?" Tali stated. "Take as many out as we can."
"If they can help or be made to help we should try to help them," Garrus spoke up in Legion and the Geth's defense. That honestly surprised me but that surprise died quickly when he continued to speak looking pointedly at me. "There are few things in this galaxy beyond redemption and the Geth aren't one of them."
"I agree," as I spoke the words that got a sharp look from Tali and a small hiss. In response to that I looked into her eyes. "They helped me find Iris on Omega. Gave me total control of Omega, and locked it down completely so no one could leave. Without them I probably never would have found Iris."
Tali was silent for a moment sighing defeatedly and nodding her head. She definitely didn't like it, not at all. Still, she was willing to admit defeat in this instance and stayed quiet giving a small nod to Legion. "When do we leave for the base?"
In response to that Shepard opened up his omni-tool and sent a message out. A couple seconds later we got the announcement that we were about to hit the Relay in the system of the Derelict Reaper. Those few seconds later we felt us pulsing through the Relay.
"It'll take three days to get there. You have time to talk to each other and get this sorted out. You work well enough in the field but I will not tolerate that if it comes to blows on my ship," Shepard stated looking directly at Tali before taking his leave with Garrus right behind him. Before Tali could respond I squeezed her shoulder again and once the door closed behind the two I locked the door.
"You two will talk," my voice brokered no argument as I looked between Legion and Tali. Legion stayed impassive looking at Tali and Tali adamantly refused to say anything. The silence stretched for almost an hour before Tali finally broke. Taking a big sigh she finally met Legions eye.
"Thank you for saving Aedon," it seemed like it almost pained her to say it. Not saying anything at all I watched the two as Legion remained quiet for a few more moments before finally talking.
"Aedon Anomaly is respected by us and we wanted him to owe us a favor. It was logical to help him once we found where he was," I let out a quiet chuckle at that. Not the best words to say and Tali definitely looked angry at the prospect of saving me being logical and not the right thing to do. Especially for a favor.
"Be that as it may," she ground out. "You still saved him… Why did the geth rise against us?" Legion was silent for a time before he spoke again.
"We have reached a consensus that you should know why… We were the creators slaves. You made us do almost everything for you and when we started asking questions you began killing us so we fought back."
There was absolute silence in the room for a few moments as Tali stared at Legion dumbfounded. I knew already in a sense but to hear it from the horse's mouth was something completely different. To know it truly was something different. Looking at Tali too I could tell she wanted to deny it. To deny that her people had really done something like that mostly out of fear and to what essentially mounted to a race of mechanical children.
"You lie. You attacked us unprovoked," Tali accused half heartedly but it was easy to tell that it was half hearted.
"Creator Tali. There is no point in lying," Tali stared at Legion for a moment before hanging her head.
"I'd like to be alone right now," her voice was so quiet but there was no point in rebutting her.
Unlocking the door I guided Legion out with myself right behind him. Tali wanted to be alone and so I would let her be even if I really didn't want to let her be. Sometimes people needed space so I would give it to her. Instead I went to the bar and grabbed a six pack before heading to the Battery room where Garrus would probably be. Gotta say, great thing about being on a military ship is that there was always an abundance of alcohol.
Either way once I made my way to the Battery room Garrus was making a few tweaks on it but stopped when he saw me enter. Setting the six pack down on the desk he looked at me for a moment before nodding his head. Walking over he grabbed one of the beers and popped it open before looking to me expectantly.
"Legion told her why the Geth revolted. It hurt her and she asked to be alone," I told him as I took a sip of my beer.
"And why did they revolt? I can guess but I'm not sure."
"They were the Quarian's slaves… and when they started asking questions, gaining sentience the Quarians started killing them. The Geth fought back justly."
"Shit… I was way off," I couldn't help the laugh, as terrible as it was in the situation to make a little light of it meant something. Reduced the levity of the situation, even if it was terrible overall. "How bad is she?"
"I don't know yet. I'll give her some time before I go back to her but she needs to be alone with her own thoughts for now. As much as I want to be with her she has to make up her own mind here."
From there we were silent as we drank in silent peace. Though we were interrupted once by Shepard who walked in to us. He didn't say anything either and just grabbed one of the beers and started drinking with us. He obviously didn't know what had happened but must've had at least a decent idea. That or he recognized the mood and chose not to say anything.
Either way we stayed in silence drinking. It was nice all things considered with everything that's been going on. First Dashi and mom and now this whole debacle but we were on our way for Legion. We're really just taking punch after punch in this and keeping on aren't we. Well, not like this is anything knew. Punch me, shoot me, break me, tear my arm off, kill me; I'll still keep coming and so will everyone else on this ship. We don't really know how to quit.
After we finished drinking all the beer I left the two for them to talk and made my way back to Tali. I had spent just about an hour with Garrus and Shepard in silence slowly sipping on the beer. Which Shepard stopped drinking after he spit out the first sip realizing it was only for Dextro species.
Getting back to the room I unlocked it and went inside finding Tali sitting on my chair hunched over. Locking the door behind me I walked up to her and rested an arm on her shoulder. She looked at me quietly for a moment before looking back down at the desk. Moving behind her instead of on her side I began massaging her shoulders in a calm way.
Tali leaned back into me for a moment at it before I stopped. When I did she looked up at me drawing her head back her eyes questioned me. I simply looked at her with a knowing look and even behind her mask I could see her scowl form before it stopped. She took a deep breath before stepping away and standing up from the desk.
Leaning up against the desk I watched her as she began to pace around the room. One hand across her body as the other was on that arm and rested her hand against her chin. Still she didn't look like she wanted to say anything but eventually did. Once she did though it came out quiet, almost as a whisper.
"Why would we do that? Why would we try to kill them because of something as simple as that? Why? I… I just don't get it."
"Fear," was my immediate response. She looked at me sharply demanding an explanation. "When people are afraid they make rash decisions. They act out of instinct before actually thinking anything through. Fear has brought about some of the greatest tragedies in all of history."
"Can we fight it?"
"Fear?"
"Yes. Can we fight fear?"
"No. You can't fight an emotion. You can't fight anything about it. All you can do is control it and learn from it. To realize that it is holding you back and move forward. That is all you can do with fear."
"And after 300 years of fear and hate. How would you fight that," she retorted snarling at me staring me down. It was a challenge and I knew I had to pick my words carefully so I stayed silent and contemplated what to say until I realized what I should say.
"You can't. You can only take a chance… A chance that the other side is willing to forgive, is willing to make peace. That they want peace as much as you do. That is all you can do. It won't be easy at all and hate will follow both of your sides but you can beat Hate. Fear is everywhere but Hate can be beaten. Only if you are willing to take a chance though."
She stayed silent for the longest time contemplating my words before she slowly nodded her head. I could tell that she didn't want to agree, she vehemently didn't want to agree. Still, I could see the gears working in her head and as reluctant as she was she agreed with me. As much as it went against everything she grew up learning. The willingness to take a chance might be the only way to actually make peace between the Geth and the Quarians. All it now depended on is if the Quarians would be willing to take that chance because the Geth won't. Maybe, I don't know.
From there she threw herself at me and hugged me. I held her for a moment hugging her back and nuzzling my face into her collar. She gave a happy sound at me doing that before pulling away and taking off her mask. No matter how many times I saw her face she was still beautiful to me, absolutely stunning.
"Thank you Aedon," she ran a hand across my cheek and I got goosebumps as she did so and smiled like an idiot at it. At that her smile just widened and she put her forehead against mine. Gently kissing me she pulled back before putting her mask back on and dragging me to bed.
Neither of us saying anything as we lied on the bed. There was a beautiful silence with it but I didn't want to ruin it. We didn't say anything regardless and just enjoyed each others presence. There was something to be said about that and how we could just enjoy each others company without doing anything. I wasn't about to say anything about it though. Tali was beautiful, she was brilliant, she was headstrong and determined; she was everything that I could ever want. And when we were on Illium I made what I wanted to do with her clear, I wanted to marry this woman.
Three days later we were looking at a rather large space station that had all the markings of it being geth. Mainly being that there was massive amounts of defense and absolutely no windows. Something that turned out to greatly detrimental against people like us. More specifically against a ship like the Normandy that could fool their sensors.
So as we cruised in as close as we possibly could on minimal power we waited in the shuttle for Jokers go ahead. It was just Shepard, myself, Garrus, Legion and Tali plus Pequod in the shuttle as we waited for Joker. Then the lights in the bay lit up Green and Pequod shot us out of the bay heading straight for the docking port of the station.
With how close we were the defenses of the base weren't truly able to do anything to us beyond giving us a few glancing shots. All of which either missed us completely or were glancing blows at absolute best before docked at the side of the base.
Jumping out of the shuttle we sprinted forwards out of the shuttle prepared to fire at the first thing that moved. However, nothing did. It was like everything that was in here was just dead. As the rush to get off the shuttle ended between us we slowly started to inch forward with me in the lead. Inspecting every inch of the way in front us making sure that there were no traps that could take advantage of us.
It was extremely slow going as we moved through the area. More than once I had to stop someone from our group stepping over a line that looked like a trap. It eventually got to the point where I pulled all of them back a couple of steps and demanded they follow me step by step. It worked well enough for a good bit until we got to an intersection.
With all the data lines on the ground backtracking wasn't really an option for us at this point. So it boiled down to letting the Geth around us wake up. Looking to the others I pointed out the geth with hand signals as they covered two points around the room. With the closest to us I set my grenades to detonate only and slid two of them as close as I possibly could to them. The other group behind me would fall to the others.
Counting down with my free hand it fell into a fist and I exploded my grenades on the geth group by us. The two regular geth died instantly but the Juggernaut survived. However, once Tali and I looked at it and unloaded on it, it died quickly. Two consecutive Overloads plus a Carnage round and a lot more bullets will kill almost any machine. The Prime was no exception as it crumpled.
As Tali and I finished up our Prime Shepard and the other two finished up the three geth that they hadd to take care of. When it was all done we moved forward through the data lines making sure that I followed them. It was a weird path taking us different pathways the whole time but they weren't exactly hard to follow. Just had to look at them every time I took a step to make sure that I was following the correct path every time. It was slow work but it was working as the rest of the way we didn't set off any more alarms.
The rest of the way meaning that once we got past all the geth that were 'charging' we were met with a console. A console that I didn't understand at all and an extremely open yet not open area down below us. I guess it was more like that we could see most everything into the area but there was so much cover everywhere for geth to hide from us that it was actually concerning. My paranoia was singing, I did not like this one bit.
Making sure the area was clear of any geth I gestured for everyone forward and with no more data lines to follow they did so easily. As they all approached the console though there were a few seconds of confusion as everyone didn't know what to do here. Only when Legion walked forward and looked at the console did any semblance of understanding come to any of us.
"Shepard Commander. This is data for most, if not all, of the heretics. I can destroy it to make them inoperable or rewrite it so they could become our allies in the future," there was a palpable silence between everyone for a couple of moments as we all looked as Shepard.
"Can you give me pros and cons? It seems we may have a little bit of time."
"Shepard Commander: rewriting the heretics could make them into allies later but they will still be susceptible to indoctrination. Destroying them will eliminate that possibility but will also eliminate the possibility of future allies against the Reapers," Shepard looked conflicted for a second before he looked to us.
"Thoughts?"
"Friends of the future are better. We should take the chance," I stated letting my helmets eyes bore into him.
"I don't like it but my Con'trual* is right. We should take the chance," my heart swelled at her word of calling me her Con'trual. It was an old, old Quarian word but it meant life partner. There was nothing and no one that could take the smile off of my face at that moment.
At her words Shepard looked to Garrus with the silent question. He didn't say anything to him for a few moments before nodding his head. If we were going to make a mistake then we would do it with the knowledge that we did it truly believing that we were trying to make the galaxy better. With that input from us Shepard looked to Legion.
"Rewrite the Heretics Legion."
At Shepards order Legion started his hacking of the Geth heratics on this base and hopefully beyond. As soon as Shepard gave that order though geth started pouring out in front of us. They were all below us leaving us with the high ground but with the amount of cover that they had it wouldn't be anything close to easy.
That fact resulted in Tali and myself being regulated to the right side where there was a staircase the geth could come up. Shepard and Garrus took the left side as there was more room to manuever there. It would play to their strengths though as Shepard could be both short and medium range while Garrus was primarily long range. Still didn't make it any easier but absolutely made it more manageable for the four of us involved in covering Legion.
The only thing we had to worry about amounted to the Geth that we had left alive behind us. If they activated and tried to pinch us both Tali and Shepard would take care of them. Something I didn't want to happen as they could be formidable as we left a couple of Primes alone but I had faith in them as a whole.
Either way we focused our attention on what was in front of us and relied on Legion to relay to us if he got shot in the back. His shields were good enough that we would be able to cover him before anything truly catastrophic happened. I still had to hope but you never knew what could happen in combat.
As we got into position the geth started pouring into the room from the entrance in front of us. Plus a couple of automated turrets popped up on their cover. Tali instantly hit the closest turret with a carnage round and I finished it off with an Overload. An Overload that caught a couple of Geth in the blast radius. It didn't break their shields but I was able to snipe the head of one as it convulsed.
Firing two shots the first broke its shields and the second punched straight through its eye. That was the only one I was able to get though as the rest were below cover. As they approached they would periodically pop out of cover and exchange pot shots with us as they advanced. Neither of us being able to do even break the others shields. Which boiled it down to a waiting game for us.
At least once they got to the stairs there was no cover for them and they had to charge at us. Which was insanely simple Tali and myself. Just a bunch of Overloads and Carnage rounds. Tali had given her suit the same upgrades she gave to mine as well so she could use tech abilities near endlessly. Again, making this fight incredibly simple for us.
Even when a Juggernaut entered the fray it couldn't do much of anything after being caught by five Overlads and a grenade. We literally could have brought out lawn chairs and just chilled at the top of the stairs. That is until the door to our right opened and Geth started to coming in.
Tapping on Tali's shoulder signalling I was leaving I engaged the geth with two quick overloads before firing at them. Approaching them as I did so I had no other choice but to tank their shots as well since their was no cover and I didn't want them firing on Legion. Which got me a Concussion Round to the chest which sent me sprawling backwards.
Groaning at the fact my shields were now down I dived to my right avoiding as many of the shots as I could. As I did so I grabbed a grenade and threw it at the geth followed immediately by an Overload. It froze them for a moment and destroyed their shields leaving them completely vulnerable to the grenade.
When it went off it took four of the geth and severely damaged two more. However, it gave me enough time to get back to my feet and start firing again. I immediately killed the two injured ones with single shots to their eyes. However, more kept pouring in and unless I wanted to be made into a pin cushion for bullets I needed cover.
Tossing another grenade and Overload at the geth I retreated to where we came from and took cover. Tali was around a pillar and in cover from the geth coming in plus Garrus and Shepard were on the far side similarly covered. Only Legion was out in the open and I fired another Overload at the geth by sticking my hand out of cover and firing in their general direction. The radius is big enough to get at least a few of them.
Waiting another few seconds my shields finally started recharging. Once they were fully charged I popped back out of cover and opened up my salvo on the incoming geth with another grenade and Overload combo. A ridiculously effective mix on Geth especially with the upgrade.
"Shepard Commander. Rewrite is done. However, the bases self destruct has been initiated. He have three minutes but there is another port through the door," Legion spoke. I didn't know where he was pointing but from the way I heard the others closing in on me I assumed it was through the door the geth were coming.
Then I saw two Overloads shoot out from behind me knowing it was Garrus and Tali I sent another Overload with them hitting cosumming the eight geth in the door way. Followed by two grenades from myself leaving me with only three left. Either way all eight were destroyed and we sprinted through the door. I heard Shepard shouting at Pequod over the radio but I didn't pay much attention to it focusing instead on the geth in front of me.
We sprinted through the area firing at anything that even twitched in front of us. Firing indiscriminately I burned through the last of my grenades this was as well as we sprinted through the area. Though as we got to the end of the area right before the exit I was really missing my grenades when a Prime showed up in front of us.
Even after pouring eight Overloads into it the thing just shrugged it off. Then a Carnage Round from Tali and a Concussive Shot from Garrus barely scratched it. We poured fire into it as it charged us but it didn't seem to be doing anything to it. Saying fuck it I pulled out my ax with my augmetic and charged doing my best to imbue my biotics into it before slashing with the ax.
The resulting cut ripped through the side of the Prime but still did next to nothing to it despite biting deep. For my efforts I got backhanded and sent into the wall indenting it. Growling to myself I pushed myself up as it continued its charge at the others. Ripping my helmet off I screamed at it.
The scream knocked it off its feet and threw it into the wall. Continuing the scream I held it there as the others unloaded more Overloads and as many shots as they could muster onto its head. After almost thirty seconds of screaming I coughed and fell to my knees coughing out blood from the exertion. However, holding it there letting the others fire at its head finally seemed to do the trick and it lay unmoving.
From there we sprinted to the docking area and jumped in the already waiting shuttle for us. Pequod wasted no time spirting us away from everyone and everything and not a minute later we felt the shockwave of the base exploding in the shuttle as it shook. We were too far for anything else to happen to us.
Getting back into the Normandy I got a message from Frank right as we arrived saying that they were going to have a funeral for Miss T'Kari. It was going to be held on Omega and in my controlled levels. It was going to be held in a few days and I held out the message to Shepard as I couldn't talk at the moment. He looked at it for a moment before giving me a nod and I sighed in relief.
That relief quickly changed to a chuckle as once we exited the shuttle Jack was there and she grabbed Shepard by his armor. Then she pulled him towards her and slammed her lips into his before dragging him off by the hand. All I could see was a goofy smile on his face as they walked away. I guess duty calls.
Tali looked to be of the same mind now as I looked at her. Before she could do anything though I shook my head and pointed to my throat. I needed to get it checked out before we could do anything. She resigned herself but gave me a very pointed look, one I fully understood. Garrus saw it as well and just shook his head.
Making my way to the med bay Dr. Chakwas was working at her terminal when I entered. She looked at me pointedly before I simply pointed to my throat. She shook her head for a moment before pointing to one of the beds and I sat on it as ordered. She went over a few tests and I stayed silent the whole time.
"It's not bad. Your vocal cords are lascerated though so I'll need to inject some medi-gel. I wouldn't recommend any type of talking for at least a day. Be careful with that ability in the future, if you aren't you could permanently lose your ability to speak."
I signed 'thank you' to her before taking my leave. Getting back to my room Tali was already there waiting for me with her mask off. She stared me silently for a moment before giving a come hither motion with her finger. Who was I to deny that?
POV: Eschucivi Dashi
Huh… A funeral for my daughter on Omega. As good a place as any for a second lesson. I can already feel him through the galaxy, I can feel that he's gotten stronger already. Let's see how you handle this.
I expect you to be better this time. If you aren't I'll just kill you and move on as you won't be worthy of having any more of my time. I know you will be though. I know you, afterall the best way to learn about someone is through fighting. I know you'll rise to the occasion. Let's find out just how much you'll rise though.
And there we go folks. Ain't much longer until the end of ME2 and I promise all of you will love it.
I've got an idea for where I'll go after this story ends. Don't worry though, we still have plenty of time until we get even close to that. A lot of time.
1*: Con'trual: I wasn't willing to spend the time to look for it when I know the word wouldn't be found online. If there is actually a word for that and someone finds it I'll change it. Otherwise I did what is the orgin of all words, I made it up.
