School day was completely normal again. Nothing special happened, (except an annoying teacher insulting snake Pokémon).

That was until... I was walking back home. I decided to do a little exploration only to try spotting Typhlosion... again. Truth is I haven't had luck finding him since the last day.

But today... Today would be a different story. I looked around the battling district, and spotted him in the distance.

He was facing away from me, and seemed to be talking to someone. I kept watching him, and saw that he was indeed talking to a man. The man seemed to be quite large, and wore a blue vest over a white shirt.

They were chatting in an apparent friendly manner. Suddenly, the two started to walk towards a Pokémon battling stadium, where more people were waiting. Did Typhlosion have a trainer?

I followed the two of them... And they ended up at the arena. I followed them there. What would happen now? It was time to find out...

The two entered the arena, and the man said something to Typhlosion... Then, the two of them faced the audience. The man raised his hands, and began to speak.

His voice echoed through the whole stadium. Everyone listened intently to him.

"Hello everyone. My name is Max, and I'm the leader of Team Blaze! We've come here today to show you our latest addition to our roster: Typhlosion!"

Everyone clapped enthusiastically. Max raised his hands, and continued his speech.

"As you may have seen, Typhlosion is a very well known Pokémon in Johto. In particular, you probably remember him from the battles he participated in during the Hoenn League."

So... seriously? Is he a famous fighter?

"Typhlosion comes to us with a lot of experience. He was trained by Professor Rowan himself, and he's been competing by himself for years. This is a Pokémon who knows what it means to win!"

Wow... That's amazing! "Now, let's get down to business. Which zone will we target today?"

All the spectators cheered loudly before coming down to the arena and start dialoguing between them. Targeting a zone? Getting down to business? What kind of stuff did this guy mean?

"Okay, let's see. I think we'll go to Steelblock, then," one of the spectators said. "Yes, that's a good idea," another said.

"Yeah, we can test our new recruit. He'll obliterate those losers!"

Obliterate? Losers? I started to dislike the whole situation. What in the world wanted those people Typhlosion to do? I tried not to be bothered, but it was impossible.

After a while, Max finished his speech. "Alright, that sounds fine. Tomorrow we will polish the plan."

The crowd dispersed, and soon, I was left completely alone, unnoticed. I waited for them to leave, hoping that they wouldn't spot me spying. Finally, Max and Typhlosion left the battlefield, heading towards the exit.

I quickly ran to catch up with them. But, once I got closer, I noticed a few things that changed my mind.

First, I realized how big the guy really was. Even though he was still far away, I could tell he was at least 6'7" tall. His muscles were visible under his jacket, which didn't help my positive thinking at all.

Second, I noticed how angry he was. He couldn't hide it, as it radiated off him.

And third, his face... It was just so intimidating.

Without any doubt in my mind, I fled as fast as I could, making sure I wasn't spotted.I ran straight to the exit, and rushed outside. I continued running until I got home. Who said I could run for so long!

As I returned to my house, I hid behind the curtains, trying to relax. My thoughts were racing, and there was too much going on inside my head.

Was Max a trainer? Is he a famous Pokémon trainer? How does he know about Typhlosion? Why did he bring Typhlosion to a place like this? Did he want to use him to beat other trainers? If so, why?

It doesn't make sense. I was confused, and I didn't know what to do. I stayed up late into the night thinking about it, and I eventually came to a set of conclusions.

First, it was obvious that Typhlosion wasn't a typical wild Pokémon. It was obviously a battle ready, experienced Pokémon, with or without trainer.

Second, it was clear that this trainer wanted to compete against other trainers. That meant that this man was a serious competitor, capable of fighting against any trainer in the region.

Third, he brought Typhlosion to a place like this. Clearly, Typhlosion is a very strong Pokémon, and therefore, he must have planned to use him to battle someone. Logically, that someone is a target of interest to not only one person, but to many others.

Fourth, he was clearly angry when he spoke. He was obviously upset with something... Maybe he lost an important match, or else he wanted to defeat a certain Trainer?

Fifth, he knew about Typhlosion. How? Or, more importantly, who told Max about him?

Truth is, I was too tired to continue thinking. I needed to sleep, and tomorrow, I'd figure everything out. It will be Saturday, hence, I'd have lots of free time to think.

I took a shower, then crawled into bed.

Saturday morning, I woke up early, ready to think about what I learned yesterday.

With a simple breakfast, I headed downstairs and sat down in front of the computer, ready to search for more information about those guys. Well, there's so much to search for I don't even know where to start.

Even if I found out what happened last night, I still don't understand all of it. I opened my internet browser, and typed "Team Blaze" in Poogle search.

What appeared was a page full of articles about Team Blaze. They were famous! However...

My eyes were filled with the image of a mauled Floatzel lying on the ground. And the caption underneath it read: "On Friday, we cleaned up Aquamarine City from useless trash floating in the ocean. Thank you, Team Blaze!"

I slammed my hand on the table as hard as I could in pure rage! I was REALLY furious to see Pokémon being hurt and killed.

And, to top it all off, there was a picture of a man in the same outfit as those I saw yesterday, with a huge smile on his face. What the hell?!

I opened the next tab, and read about a Luxray who was also nearly crushed to death in a gym battle. This just keeps getting worse!

I went through the rest of the news sites, and each article was worse than the previous one. At some point, I closed my eyes and put my head on the desk.

I couldn't handle it anymore. I felt so sick. I thought about giving up, and stopped reading. However... What was with Typhlosion?

I started to feel an utter rage from the core of my heart. The stereotype of a bully fit rather well to him, but, as I started to imagine Typhlosion doing those atrocities, I almost vomited.

He would start killing Pokémon soon! And, then, the trainers of said Pokémon would have no choice but to give up... forcing... to live... their lives... alone...

I immediately shut down the computer, took down a good dozen sleeping pills and went back to sleep. I could withstand the lack of friends, the feeling of loneliness, but... remembering about THAT... no way. I would erase that memory from my brain, whatever it takes.

I was lucky enough to stay groggy the rest of the weekend. If I had a clear thought, it was that I would BY ANY MEANS talk to him ever again. No matter what.

Monday came, and with it, a renewed determination to find answers.

I considered again how to proceed with Typhlosion, and I decided to keep my head cold, and act as if I didn't know the apparently dark plans involving him. Then, I would stalk him until he commits an action that reveals the truth.

I would record it and report him to the police. If that bastard then gets euthanized, then fine. At least I would be able to prove that he deserved it, and that would be justice.

Again, the most important goal is to avoid other trainers being left without Pokémon, and avoid them living the same fate as... Well, less talking and more thinking!

So, I spent the first half of the day studying, knowing that, probably, the spying session today would take a good part if not all night.

However, soon, I decided to prepare myself for the worst case scenario. I made sure to read about what might happen, and what should I do to remain calm when the worst actions took place.

It was almost dark when I left the library. I knew that today, they would reunite in the same place they met before, so I hurriedly walked straight to the stadium.

Once there, I stood hidden behind a bush, waiting for them to arrive.

Within an hour, some people came, and entered the stadium. I waited patiently, hoping that they wouldn't notice me. If I was going to spy on them, I had to be invisible.

Soon, more people arrived. I counted over a hunded people, including Max and Typhlosion.

Then, Max started talking again. I also noticed that now, Typhlosion wasn't standing next to him. Instead, he was sitting on the edge of the stage, as the rest of the crowd.

Max started talking, and I listened carefully.

"We are here today because we are proud of our team. We are fighting to save the noble art of Pokémon battling, and we will succeed. We will lead the revolution with our courage, and we will change the world!... Now, let us begin."

I was totally blown away. A revolution? Changing the world? This guy seems insane! He continued speaking, saying more crazy stuff. But, I paid attention to every word, and especially to the end.

"Now, time for the main event! Steelblock city awaits us!"

Steelblock city! It was rather far from here! But, I decided that I had nothing to lose. As I said before, I wasn't gonna stop until I caught the truth.

The stadium lights dimmed, and a loud voice boomed out of the speakers. "Let's take care of this once and for all! Let's go, everyone!"

Everyone cheered, and started walking out of the stadium. I slowly followed them, keeping a distance from the group, and hiding whenever I saw somebody looking around.

Soon, they reached a place where various buses were parked. They boarded two different ones, and with that, I lost track of them.

Obviously, I couldn't follow them there, so I decided to book a bus ticket for tomorrow, and I would go there in the morning.

For the moment, I walked back home, thinking about the next steps to take.

I had to book a cheap inn for at least a week. I had to be there a few days, in order to increase my chance to find someone doing deplorable acts.

I also had to buy a camera and a recorder. I wanted to record everything. So, I need to get decent equipment, and increase my chances of finding them.

If I was going to have to spend a lot of money, then I would do it. I had to catch the truth! It was quite late by the time I got home, so I decided to lie down in bed and wait for tomorrow.
