It's been almost 4 years since I've posted the first chapter of this story. I'm so sorry this took so long. I've had writer's block for this story for a long time.

Luigi and Daisy have been dating for almost two years. Mario and Peach were getting married soon, so Mario asked Luigi about him getting married.

"Uh, I wanted to ask her, but I'd have to buy a ring and...I'm afraid she might say no." Luigi said.

"Don't be silly Luigi. Daisy won't say no." Mario said.

"I hope not.."

One day Luigi was walking around the Mushroom Kingdom. He was heading to a store to buy a ring. He decided to go to Coconut Mall to look for one. Luigi went to the jewelry store in the mall and looked at the engagement rings.

"Which one should I get?" He thought. He looked some more until he found one.

"I think she'd like this." Luigi told the Toad behind the counter which ring he wanted. She gave it to him and smiled. Luigi paid for the ring and headed back to his house.

"When should I ask her?" Luigi said. He began to think.

"Her birthday is coming up soon. Maybe I can ask her then." Luigi finally made it back home. He went to his room and put the ring in a safe place.

"I really hope she'll say yes."

Daisy's birthday finally came. Luigi planned on taking her out to dinner that night. He kept thinking about the ring the whole day. He began to get nervous.

"Please say yes." He thought.

Night time came and Luigi was getting ready. He grabbed the ring, put it in his pocket, and left. He was heading to Sarasaland to get ready. When he finally made it, he went to the castle. Daisy was already outside waiting for him.

"Hey sweetie!" Daisy greeted.

"H-Hi. Happy birthday." Luigi said, getting more nervous.

"Are you alright?" Daisy asked.

"Huh? Oh yeah! I'm fine." Luigi replied.

"Alright." Daisy said. She held his hand as they went to the restaurant.

Daisy noticed Luigi was acting strange that night. She noticed he was stuttering more and blushing a lot.

"Luigi, are you sure you're ok?" She asked.

"Yes. I'm alright. Don't worry." Luigi replied.

"Ok." Daisy dropped the subject for the moment. They saw the waiter coming to them and they began to order.

They headed back to her castle when they were finished.

"Thanks for taking me out tonight Luigi." Daisy said.

"You're welcome." Luigi said. Daisy began to open the doors of the castle.

"I can do this!" Luigi thought.

"Wait Daisy." Luigi said. Daisy turned around to him.

"What's wrong Luigi?" She asked.

"I-I have another gift for you." He replied.

"Really? What is it?" Daisy asked. Luigi took a deep breath. He took the box out of his pocket. He got down on one knee and opened the box, revealing the ring. Daisy began to blush.

"Luigi..."

"Daisy, will you marry me?" Luigi asked, his face turning red.

"Yes Luigi! Yes! I will marry you." Daisy exclaimed. Luigi smiled. He got up and put the ring on her finger.

"So this is why you've been acting strange tonight." Daisy said.

"Hehe. Yeah." Luigi replied. Daisy smiled and kissed him.

"I love you." Daisy said.

"I love you too." Luigi said and hugged her.

I feel like this whole chapter was rushed... I'm not sure what pairing is gonna be next
