Hey everyone! Sorry it's been awhile since I made the last chapter for this story. I wasn't sure which pairing to write about next. But now I decided to write about Luigi x Rosalina again. I enjoyed writing that short story about them :)

Also just like with the short story, yes I do ship these two together. But I like Luigi x Daisy more. This is for an alternate universe where Luigi is with Rosalina instead of Daisy. This is actually set after that story called "Rosalina's Gift". Anyways I hope you all enjoy this one!

It has been five years since Luigi and Rosalina got together. They started dating sometime after Luigi gave her a new necklace for Christmas. Ever since then they have been really happy together. Luigi and Rosalina loved each other so much and always enjoyed spending time together. Lately Luigi has been thinking about his relationship a lot more. One day while walking around Toad Town, he decided to buy a gift for Rosalina. He already bought her a Christmas gift, but he knew that this gift would be more special.

Luigi came back to his house to find Mario sitting on the couch relaxing. He sighed and sat next to his brother.

"Hey bro!" Mario greeted. He noticed the bag in his brother's hand.

"What's in there?" He asked. Luigi, trying not to blush, took out the small box and handed it to Mario. Mario opened it to see a diamond ring inside.

"I bought this for Rosie. Do you think she'll like it?" Luigi asked.

"Wait...is this-"

"Hehe yeah." Luigi said cutting off Mario. Mario looked at Luigi and smiled.

"I think Rosalina will love it." Mario said. He closed the box and handed it back to Luigi.

"So when are you gonna ask her?" Mario asked. Luigi thought for a moment.

"Hmm. Maybe I can ask her at our Christmas party." Luigi said.

Christmas finally arrived and the brothers were finishing setting up their Christmas party. All of their friends were going to be there and they were all excited. As Luigi was blowing up some balloons, he kept thinking about Rosalina.

"I really hope she will say yes." He thought.

A few hours have passed and the party finally started. Everyone was having a great time. Some were dancing. Others were either eating, talking, or opening up gifts. Luigi and Rosalina were sitting on the couch talking. They each gave each other a present. Rosalina gave Luigi a new hat and he gave her a new sweater. As they talked, Luigi kept thinking about the ring.

"I'm really nervous. I hope she says yes." Rosalina noticed Luigi spacing out.

"Are you alright sweetie?" She asked. Luigi shook his head.

"Oh I'm fine. I was just thinking about something." He replied. He took one of her hands and stared at her.

"Actually Rosie, I wanted to ask you something." Luigi said.

"Oh? What's that?" She asked. Luigi took a deep breath.

"Rosalina...will...will you-" Before Luigi could finish, they saw Toadette running up to them.

"Hey guys! Peach wants to play a game. Wanna join us?" She asked.

"Oh sure Toadette." Rosalina smiled. She turned to Luigi after Toadette ran back to the others.

"What were you saying?" Rosalina asked.

"Uh, it can wait. It wasn't that important." Luigi smiled.

Luigi told Mario what happened after the party was over. He decided to ask Rosalina another time. Since Peach was throwing a New Years party at her castle, he chose to ask her there. Luigi sat on his bed with the box in his hand. He opened it and looked at the ring again.

"Alright Luigi. No matter what happens, you gotta ask her!" He said.

A few days have passed and Peach's New Years party was the next day. Mario and Luigi were helping Peach get some last minute decorations. They were in the ballroom bringing in the decorations so they could decorate tomorrow. Mario and Luigi were carrying a huge box inside the ballroom.

"So when do you plan on asking her?" He asked Luigi.

"I'm definitely going to ask her tomorrow at the party." Luigi replied as he helped Mario sit the box down.

"Good luck." Mario replied.

The next day came and the party started. Peach invited their friends and some other royals from different kingdoms. Everyone was having a good time. Mario and Luigi were talking to Peach and Daisy. He noticed Rosalina entering the ballroom and left to greet her.

"Hi Rosalina!" Luigi said.

"Hi Weegee." Rosalina smiled and hugged him. They heard a different song starting to play and decided to dance.

"I'm having a really great time!" Rosalina said.

"Haha me too!" Luigi replied. He then remembered the ring in his pocket.

"Hey Rosie, let's go talk out on the balcony to talk." Luigi said.

"Oh alright." Rosalina replied and followed him.

"Why did you want to come out here Luigi?" Rosalina asked.

"Well, remember on Christmas when I was trying to ask you something?" Luigi said. Rosalina nodded.

"Well, here goes nothing." Luigi thought. Luigi took Rosalina's hand again.

"I was really nervous the last time and I still kinda am. But I wanted us to be alone so I could ask you this." Luigi got down on one knee, took out the box, and opened it. Luigi and Rosalina began to blush.

"Rosalina...will you marry me?" Luigi asked. Rosalina began to tear up and smiled at him.

"Luigi..Yes! Yes I will marry you!" She said. Luigi put the engagement ring on her finger, got up, and wiped her tears. They heard everyone inside counting down until they heard fireworks going off.

"It's the new year now." Rosalina said.

"Yep!" Luigi replied. Rosalina smiled at him again.

"I love you Luigi." She said.

"I love you too Rosalina." Luigi replied and they kissed again.

I really hope this chapter was ok. I think the next chapter will be about a Canon x FC pairing. I had some ideas but I don't remember them especially the ideas I had for C Pyar x Cassie and Blake x Wendy ^^; (Cassie and C Pyar belong to CprCovet and Blake belong to Manyface-Blake in case you didn't know or don't remember). But hopefully soon I can come up with some new ideas.
