Hey everyone! Here's the next chapter. So before I get started on this chapter, I wanna explain something about my FC Flare Misdeed :D

So years ago, the artist ALBurning90 (originally KoopalingsFreak8) from deviantart made her own characters called Misdeeds. They kinda looked like Koopas but they had a diamond on their stomachs and had powers (ex my other Misdeed Vendetta having Geokinesis, Flare having Pyrokinesis, etc). Now the Misdeeds are called Mysvarains and have no connection to the Mario world. Now on with the chapter!

Luke, Ludwig and Jasmine's oldest child, was in his room playing video games. His girlfriend Flare left the castle a few minutes ago after hanging out together. Luke and Flare met when they were children. Flare used to bully Luke, but stopped and became friends with him. When the two got older, they slowly developed feelings for each other. Flare confessed to him and they started dating after Flare learned that Luke felt the same.

As he continued to play his game, Luke started to think about the Misdeed. The two would sometimes talk about the future like marriage and starting a family. They loved each other a lot and Luke wanted to be with her forever. After thinking it over, he knew that he wanted to marry Flare. Luke paused the game, reached inside of his shell, and pulled out a bag full of coins.

"I'm sure this is enough." Luke smiled as he thought about the perfect ring he'd find.

The next day Luke left the castle to head to the mall. Flare was busy today so Luke didn't have to worry about making an excuse for not hanging out that day. He also didn't tell his friends and family what he was doing. Luke decided to wait until later to tell them. Soon he made it to the mall and went to the jewelry store.

Luke looked at the engagement rings for a few minutes and didn't see one that stuck out to him. A moment later, his eyes landed on a ring with a red ruby. Luke stared at it and smiled.

"This is the one!" Luke exclaimed.

Luke bought the ring and hid it inside of his shell. His mind was on the ring for the rest of the day. His family noticed that he was acting strange after coming home earlier. He wasn't talking as much and he was spacing out. Everyone shrugged it off and thought that he would go back to normal later. When everyone sat down for dinner, Luke was still spacing out and barely ate. Ludwig and Jasmine were getting concerned about their son.

"Luke honey?" Luke shook his head when he heard his mother's voice.

"Yes?" He said.

"Are you alright?" Ludwig asked.

"You haven't been acting like yourself all day." Jasmine added.

"Oh...well, I bought something today and I can't stop thinking about it." Luke explained, trying not to blush.

"What did you buy?" Jackie, Luke's younger sister, asked. Now blushing, Luke reached inside of his shell and took out the little black box. He opened it and showed everyone the ring inside. Everyone around the table gasped and smiled.

"You're finally proposing to Flare?!" His siblings and cousins exclaimed.

"Hehe yeah." Luke replied, his face now completely red.

"We're so happy for you! When are you going ask her?" Jasmine said.

"I'll ask her tomorrow." Luke replied.

The next day came and Luke was going to take Flare out to dinner that night. He made sure that the ring was still inside of his shell. He was excited to ask her, but also a little nervous. Luke looked at his reflection and took a deep breath.

"You can do this Luke. Everything's gonna be alright." He said to himself.

Later that evening, Luke met Flare at her house. She kissed his cheek and they walked to the restaurant. As they walked, Flare noticed that Luke was quiet.

"Hey Luke?" She said.

"Yeah Flare?" He replied.

"Are you alright?" Flare asked.

"Oh, I'm fine." Luke smiled at her.

"Well, alright..." Flare dropped it and continued walking.

They made it to the restaurant and sat at their table. As they waited for their food, the couple began to talk about their day and what they planned on doing together tomorrow. Soon their food arrived and they began to eat. As they ate, Luke kept thinking about the ring.

"Alright! I can do this!" Luke thought.

"Hey Flare. I bought you something when I went to the mall yesterday." Luke said.

"Oh? What is it?" Flare asked. Luke then reached inside of his shell and took out the box. He opened it and showed her the ring, making them both blush. Flare stared at the ring and then at the Koopa in front of her.

"Luke..." Flare said, still staring at him and the ring.

"Flare Misdeed, I love you so much. We've talked about getting married before and now I know that I'm ready and I hope you're ready too. So, will you marry me?" Luke said, making them blush even more. Flare smiled at him, tears forming in her eyes.

"Luke...Yes!" She replied. Luke put the ring on her finger and kissed her.

"I love you." Luke said and kissed her cheek.

"I love you too. I can't wait for us to be married!" Flare replied.

"Me neither." Luke said and kissed her again.
