0Hi you guys! I'm not feeling too good right now, but I still wanted to work on the next chapter of this story. I had an idea for this pairing for a couple months now, so let's hope this is good.

Kevin, Roy and Kacey's oldest child and only son, was sitting on a bench with his girlfriend Maya. Kevin had a crush on her when they were kids and finally confessed when they were in middle school. They've been together ever since and they were very happy. Now adults, their relationship has gotten serious and it has been on both of their minds. Kevin looked over at the Koopa next to him. He smiled and kissed her cheek, making her smile.

"You're so sweet Kevin." Maya said and kissed him, making him blush.

"Haha! You're adorable when you blush." Maya laughed, making his face more red.

"Hahaha. So are you." Kevin replied. Maya sighed as she hugged him.

"I wanna be with you forever." She said.

"Me too. Heh, maybe we'll even be married someday." Kevin replied. Realizing what he said made both of them blush.

"Um, Kevin? Do you...Do you want to be married someday?" Maya asked after a moment of silence.

"Yeah." Kevin smiled at her.

"Oh. Well, I'd love to be your wife one day." Maya replied, making them blush again.

"I'd be happy to be your husband." Kevin said and kissed her.

A week passed since Maya and Kevin's conversation. Kevin thought about asking Maya to marry him before, but he was nervous. He also didn't have a ring yet to give her. He sighed as he walked through the halls of the castle.

"What should I do?" Kevin said to himself. He was lost in his thoughts and wasn't paying attention when he bumped into someone. He looked up and saw that it was Roy with Kacey standing next to him.

"Oh. Sorry dad. I wasn't paying attention." Kevin apologized.

"Are you alright sweetie?" Kacey asked him.

"I'm fine mom. I just got something on my mind." Kevin replied.

"What's that?" Roy asked. Kevin's face began to turn pink.

"Um, well...I've been thinking about...asking Maya to marry me." Kevin finally said, his face completely red. Kacey gasped and smiled.

"Oh that's wonderful! But are you sure you're ready for that?" Kacey asked. Kevin thought for a moment. Then he smiled.

"Yeah. I want Maya to be my wife." He said.

Kevin decided to take Maya out on a date the next day. Kevin took her out to dinner at one of her favorite restaurants. After they ate, Maya asked him to watch the sunset with her. The two sat down on a nearby bench and looked at the sky.

"I had a great time Kevin." Maya smiled at him.

"I'm glad you did. I did too." Kevin said and smiled back. Maya kissed him and held his hand.

"I should ask her now." Kevin thought.

"Hey Maya?" Kevin said. Maya turned to him.

"Yeah honey?" Maya asked.

"Um, well," Kevin said, "I wanna tell you something."

"Oh?" Maya replied. Kevin took a deep breath.

"Maya, I love you so much." Kevin said.

"I love you too." Maya smiled. Kevin continued.

"I've wanted to ask you this before, but I was really nervous. I know I don't have a ring yet, but I want to spend the rest of my life with you and make you as happy as you make me. So Maya...Will you marry me?" Kevin finished, making their faces turn a deep shade of red. Maya stared at the human/Koopa hybrid next to her. Tears began to form in her eyes as she hugged him tightly.

"Oh Kevin! Yes! I will marry you!" Maya cried as she continued to hug and kiss Kevin. Kevin hugged her and kissed her forehead.

"I love you so much." Maya said as she looked up at Kevin.

"I love you too." Kevin replied as he wiped her tears away and kissed her.
