"Tomorrow," Teddy smiled leaning against Owen on their couch, "we're ready."

"She can come any time," he agreed.

"She's ready," Teddy said, "I'm ready to be done. It's really starting to hurt."

"Are you hungry," he asked, "tired? Do you want dinner?"

"Let's go out," Teddy said, "burgers. It's the last time it will be us for a long time."

"Are you up for it," he asked.

"A burger and a long drive," she said, "let's go."

"Are you sure you're feeling okay," he asked, "you tossed and turned all night."

"I had a slow lazy day," she said, "just waiting."

"Did you talk to anyone," Owen asked.

"Your mom and Megan," Teddy said, "Megan is really excited."

"I know she is," Owen.

"They're coming up for Easter weekend," Teddy said.

"That's when," Owen asked.

"Ten days," Teddy replied, "hopefully baby girl will be here."

"Ten days she will be," Owen said, "relax Teddy."

"I don't think I can," Teddy sighed.

"Let's go eat something and go for a drive and see how you feel," he suggested, "relax. I'm off now too."

"So you're just going to hover all the time," she groaned.

"Maybe," he replied, "keep you company for sure."

"Can we really do this," she asked, "be parents?"

"We can," he promised, "you will be an amazing mother."

"You've always wanted to be a dad," she smiled.

"I didn't think I'd wait so long," he said.

"Why couldn't we get the timing to work sooner," she asked.

"Stubbornness," he admitted, "not wanting to lose our friendship. And it's you. You always seemed slightly untouchable. My favourite person and I didn't want to do anything to change that or hurt you so I kept those feelings to myself."

"We're doing this," she asked, "you're not claiming me because of Allison?"

"No," he assured, "Teddy I've loved you for as long as I've known you."

"I've loved you that long too," she said, she took his free hand and placed it where their daughter was kicking.

"Soon," he smiled, "you sure you're feeling okay?"

"I am," she smiled, "I might want another massage when we get home. My back is tight again."

"I can help you with that," he assured.
