Chapter 40:

Whoa, school had fucked up my schedule.

Pack Leader

"I understand your anger, however, I disagree," Kenshi growled at Aizawa, who had just told them his plans to expel his entire class. Nezu calmly sipped his tea, watching the entire thing. Since it was the summer break, Kenshi opted to live with his friend, Nezu, who was living in UA. The teacher had the gall to barge in with plans to expel his entire class. "Your collective punishment is absurd."

"Who's the teacher here?"

"And who had lead two generations of a wolf pack, knowing every bit of what leadership is?"

"Wolves are different from humans."

"That would explain your lack of unity." Kenshi figuratively bit back, causing Aizawa to scowl at him. "I've avoided humans for so long because of people like you. You're one of those monsters willing to leave people behind to die if it meant rationality."

"You know nothing about me."

"I know enough." Kenshi bared his teeth at the man until Nezu held up his paw.

"I suggest that all of us should calm down. Aizawa needs to explain his case."

"Nobody in my class tried to stop them," Aizawa explained. Nezu listened while sipping tea.

"Nobody knew what they planned to do. Yaoyorozu managed to mask their scent with pepper spray. The moment I realized what happened, they were long gone." Kenshi countered the teacher's statement. Nezu nodded at Kenshi's statement.

"If I may?" Nezu set down his cup and clasped his paws. Kenshi and Aizawa sat down again. "Kenshi, I understand your anger at Aizawa, but his students still failed to follow direct orders. Aizawa, I understand your anger, but I can't allow you to expel these students for something they didn't have the knowledge of. Which is why we need to reach a compromise. The students still need to be punished, and the Shiketsu students who went to Kamino are already under house arrest, courtesy of Gran Torino. I suggest you do the same."

Nezu faced Kenshi. "Is that satisfactory, old friend?"

The wolf glanced at Nezu then at Aizawa and finally nodded. "How about you, Aizawa?"

The man glared at the wolf and the principal before grumbling in agreement. "Fine."

"We can't afford to lose students, not after what Midoriya and Bakugou told us. UA has been under All For One's rule without our knowledge." The Principal wasn't enough of a fool to disbelieve the two. Midoriya and Bakugou had been known for their violent history, but when something has frightened them both enough to agree on something, then it is worth looking into. It also helped that the Director had not contacted them for a long time since Kamino.

"That being said, how is Cementoss's progress with building the dorms?"

"He's almost done with a few buildings left."

"Noted. You can leave now, Eraser." Nezu showed him the door. Aizawa bowed at the principal and glared at the wolf before leaving. Once the teacher is gone, Nezu faced his friend. "You don't seem to like him."

"What clued you in?"

"Always the banter when angry, aren't you? Don't worry about Aizawa. I wouldn't have hired him if I'm sure he would just abuse his power. We're not the only ones who've lost people, Kenshi."

"That's no excuse to take out anger on the young people. They make mistakes, we guide them. I may be a student of Shiketsu, but I know more about taking care of my own than he will ever have."

"And that, I could not argue with. Well, now, how about another game of chess?"

A Sort-of Apology

"WHY THE FUCK DID YOU VOTE ME, YOU SACK OF CRAP?!" Izuku comically smacked Trish's head, who retaliated with a kick to the chest. Fubuki is currently having a nap time in her room. "I TOLD YOU TO VOTE GREEN!"

"YOU DIDN'T SPECIFY LIGHT GREEN, WANKSTAIN!" Ever since Trish discovered where he lived, she came here just to annoy him. She even tried to convince Camie but the girl refused, still upset for days. "AND COME ON, YOU KILLED ME THREE FUCKIN' TIMES WHEN YOU PLAYED IMPOSTOR AND NOT ONCE DID YA GET CAUGHT!"

*Ding dong*

"Get the door, Trish."

"DO I LOOK LIKE I OWN THIS PLACE?! AAHCK!" Trish coughed violently as she held her chest. She forgot that she wasn't supposed to be too active for the summer. The gas still left an aftereffect on her. Izuku reached out and gently rubbed her back. He grabbed the bottle of water beside them and let her drink from it.

"Fine, I'll get the door. Just try not to act out, okay?" He stopped rubbing her back as he stood up.

He walked up to the door and opened it. It was Katsuki. He slammed it shut. He contemplated his life for a moment before opening the door again. The explosive blonde now has an annoyed look on his face. "Can we come in, now?"

"We?"

Katsuki stepped aside to reveal Ibara, the one Izuku saw accompanying the explosive blonde in front of him. "Ah, your girlfriend."

"What? She's not my girlfriend. Not until she confesses to me anyway."

"You're terribly mistaken, Katsuki. You're the one confessing."

Izuku quirked his eyebrow at the pair before inviting them in. He's bewildered by the fact that Katsuki had found someone at all. "Good for him."

"Why is she even here?"

"To stop both of us from trying to kill each other."

"Oh, don't worry about that. I conveniently had that covered." Izuku moved aside and pointed at Trish, who was sitting on the couch. "Oi, stop whatever you're doing and help me out here."

"In your dreams, wanker."

"Don't make me kick you out of my apartment."

"FINE!"

Trish stomped over and helped Izuku set up the table. After setting up, she sat beside him while Katsuki and Ibara sat on the opposite side. The two boys stared at each other for a while, waiting for the other to speak.

"OH WILL YOU SP- AHK!" Another coughing fit. Izuku grabbed a glass of water and gave it to Trish while rubbing her back again.

"Don't exert yourself. You'll only be like this for the summer." He told Trish before turning to Katsuki. "Well, talk."

"I've been thinking…"

"Surprising." Izuku rolled his eyes.

"Do you want me to talk or not?!" Katsuki snapped at him.

"Force of habit. Sorry." Izuku bowed his head slightly, signaling Katsuki to continue. Ibara and, surprisingly, Trish, watched quietly.

"I've been having talks with Hound Dog, and, I've come to a revelation." Katsuki paused for a while, thinking of what he should say next. "I've done a lot of messed up shit."

"Which is partly my fault." Izuku interrupted him before he could continue. Ibara's quirked her eyebrows, a little interested in what the green-haired successor has to say.

"What? Fuck off, we both know how I acted." Katsuki waved Izuku's statement off. "I acted like a little shit."

"Because I wasn't there to be a good friend. You're not the only one who had an eye-opener." Izuku shook his head, remember what Camie told him those nights ago. She didn't abandon him but he did abandon Katsuki. "Neither of us would have been like this if I was ballsier."

"Fuck off, I scared you away."

"Me? Scared? You got the wrong person." They didn't realize they were already standing up, face-to-face with each other. A little too close on comfort. It only took Trish's quirk to force Izuku to sit down. Ibara planted her hand on Katsuki's shoulder, making him snap out of it and sit down. "It's ultimately my fault, Bakugou."

"Screw you it's my fault."

"No, It's my fault."

"It's my fault."

"No, It's my fault."

"It's my fault."

"Oh, will both of yous shut it? It's both your faults." Trish has had enough with these two idiots. "Both of you clearly fucked up and now we're in this situation where Camie won't even talk to this wankstain, and you having blood on your hands, whether you like it or not."

That line cut deep into Katsuki as he clutched his chest, remembering Shinda. "Shut. Up."

"Oh fuck yeah, I'll shut up if you two make up." Trish got up from her chair and left the apartment. Izuku rested his face on his palm, not expecting that outburst from Trish. Normally she would have escalated the situation by taunting both of them, but this one was not the same.

"She's right. Bakugou, as hard as it is for me to say, I never should have broken off our friendship. I'm sorry I let you turn into this. Don't you dare say it's not my fault."

"Fine. I'm sorry for what I, uh, did to your…little sister. That, and, for everything else." Both of them looked away from each other.

"For the record, you should at least try to apologize to Fubuki. I'll forgive what you did to her if she forgives you."

"I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm just genuinely sorry."

"...Right." Izuku narrowed his eyes at him.

"Well, Katsuki, let it out of your system?" Ibara patted her more-than-friends less-than-boyfriend on the back. He grunted in response, and the awkward silence returned.

"For the record, you never officially beat me." Katsuki scoffed at Izuku, who glared back at him. "I even beat you without using my quirk. So yeah, you're wrong about me being useless without explosions."

"...You take that back. I did beat you on our first battle training. Hard."

"You were disqualified, so that's still my win."

"Who came back on a stretcher? Obviously not me."

"Dear Lord, boys! Let's all calm down. Don't you have a little sister that's currently napping? Katsuki will apologize to her when he's ready to see her face again." Ibara stood up and Katsuki followed. She was the first to bow. "Thank you for having us, we'll be leaving now."

"Damn, she's very straightforward when she needs to be." Izuku could now see why she got Katsuki's affection in the first place. She's subtle in it, but she doesn't take shit from others. Under that calm mask was just as much emotion as the explosive blonde. "Thanks for coming here. Or something."

After leaving, Izuku sat back down on the couch. Trish had left and he's left alone again. "That's one relationship fixed. One more to go."

Anger Bitch

"Oi, bimbo, open up. Or is it thot? Which insult do you prefer?" Trish knocked on Camie's door. She just left Izuku's apartment and walked to the one beside his, which is Camie's place. She had been trying for days to get the door to open up. From what Izuku told her, Camie only gets out when she needs to do some grocery shopping. "Seriously, how upset can you bitch get? Wankstain over there is dying for your affectionate bullshit."

Trish kept knocking, ignoring the explosive blonde and the plant-brain walking past her with judgemental stares. "Come on, open u-"

The door opened to see Camie looking annoyed. It's a very rare sight to see, even for Trish. "Well, shit, I didn't know it was this bad."

"Mind if I come in?" Trish came inside the apartment anyway without waiting for Camie's answer, annoying the blonde even more. "Now tell me what got your shits in the pants with the wankstain."

"Do you even care?"

"Trust me, bimbo, I don't. I'm only doing ya a favour since ya saved me arse from that gas attack back at the camp. Wankstain fucked up bad from what I've heard."

"You will not believe…" Camie sat down on her couch and told Trish everything. The Scotswoman could do nothing but click her tongue by how stupid these two are being.

"Oh, so you're abandonin' him?" Trish smiled when she saw Camie shot up after what she said. The blonde looked at her as if she was the devil himself. Trish had the girl hook, line, and sinker. The redhead sneered at Camie, who was damn close to kicking her.

"What?! I'm no-"

"Then why the fuck are ya avoidin' him? Is it because of what he did? He needs ya more than ever. Or…"

"Or?"

"I'll steal him for me-self."

"Wha-what?!"

"Don't get me wrong. The wankstain disgusts me, but if it pisses you off, I'm willing to do the sacrifice. It's not NTR if you never dated in the first place." The amount of smug energy coming from Trish did piss her off. One thing she knew about internet trolls is that they knew how to push buttons. Trish is the queen of pushing buttons, whether she means it or not. "You know how Bakugou turned out because wankstain abandoned him, right? What makes your decision right now any different?"

"Trish, I'm warning you." Camie seethed.

"Are ya really tellin' me that you had every right to give up on him after everything both of ya went through? I think he's lying about being annoyed by ya all the time." Trish's sinister grin grew. "He wasn't even trying to push ya away. It's obvious he loves ya, too. What did ya do? Leave him."

"Knock it off."

"Knock what off? Your chances of dating him? Tell me, did ya wait for your chance until he and his darling broke up?" Trish got close to her face. "Are ya that selfish?"

*SMACK*

Trish was thrown back at the edge of the couch from Camie's slap. She was still smiling though. "That eyes. The plan went down like clockwork."

"Fuck. You. Bitch." Camie stood up, fighting against Trish's quirk. The feeling of heaviness didn't matter. Trish had a point, with what she's doing right now, Camie is just repeating the cycle. She won't let that happen. She refused to let it happen. "But…thanks."

"H-huh, what?" Trish blushed, not really remembering the last time someone that isn't her dad that genuinely thanked her. "No, I was just tauntin' ya for real."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever, bitch." Camie slapped both of her cheeks, her rage dissipating and being replaced with a smile and determination. "What was I even doing, lmao."

"Yeah, but I can get some o' yer Doritos, right?"

"OI DON'T TOUCH THAT!"

A Killer Clown's Vacation

The killer clown finally woke up in his cell. He looked around and smile. Automatic guns pointed at him and watched his every movement. His body had fully regenerated and he's tied to a chair. Quirk Suppressors are all over his body. "Ah, right, Tartarus. A good vacation home."

"You're finally awake." Carlitos looked at the figure in front of him. It was the permanently weakened All Might. The former Symbol of Peace was glaring at him. "All For One's demon child."

"Whoa, tone down, All Might. I'm not a demon."

"You truly see yourself as a god, much like your father?" All Might replied and saw Carlitos' smile vanish for a split second then return. A sudden chill ran across his spine but he kept his glare at the clown.

"Oh, don't give me that. I don't see myself as a god, a demon, or a monster." He said it as a fact. "I'm a simple human being."

"Someone who massacres people for fun. That's not human."

"Tell it to the Americans and their military war crimes. You still consider them heroes, don't you? That's beside the point, you're here because you want me to tell you about my good ol' dad." Despite the grin, All Might felt the venom behind the clown mentioning All For One. He needs to tread carefully with his words.

"You're thinking that you need to tread carefully with your words, aren't you? Don't worry, it's less entertaining if you do." Carlitos chuckled. "I'll only break out if I either get bored or I think I've had enough of a vacation."

"I figure you want something in exchange for talking about your father?"

"Oh, very much, yes, and if you don't uphold that end of the deal, well…" Carlitos' grin grew maliciously and a dark aura surrounded the room. "Let's just say everyone you knew here won't be having an open-casket funeral. If there is still part of them to bury anyway."

"Psychotic monster…"

"Again, I'm a simple human, not a monster." Carlitos corrected him again. "As for our deal, I want someone to talk to every week. It can be anyone UNLESS I specifically requested for someone. If you don't uphold that end, yadda yadda consequences."

"Do you think you can-"

Carlitos instantly broke free of his restraints, ignoring the automatic guns' bullets putting holes in him. All Might quickly stood up. Instead of breaking out, Carlitos simply smiled, sat back down, and put his restraints back together as if nothing happened. "Yes, I do think I can."

Carlitos slumped dead for a moment but sat straight again after a few seconds. Blood no longer stains him and he's malicious grin was taunting All Might. "You and this entire prison have very little choice in this, my friend. Besides, I only want someone to talk to, and maybe I'll stay here for a long time."

"...Alright."

"GREAT! To sweeten the deal, when I do choose to break out of here while you people keep your end of the bargain, I only promise to kill one person."

"Is it your father?"

"Can you stop me?"

"Mineta, a mere student, managed to do so."

"And he's not here." Carlitos rebutted, amused by All Might's attempt to get a rise out of him. He wasn't even angry at the short boy. He was impressed. His death will be quick, that's a guarantee. It's not even for revenge either, it's all in the name of fun. He can't wait to face the grape boy again. "I hope that grape, no, Mineta has more tricks up his sleeve. Never should have underestimated him."

"As for good ol' dad, even I don't know his given name. The real one. I do know his family name, which is Shigaraki. Carlitos Shigaraki doesn't sound that great so I changed mine to Carlitos Rodriguez. Well, up until the people in the west started calling me Carlitos Bailarenas de la Muertos."

"Do you know anything about Tomura Shigaraki?"

"Oh, him? When I finally got back, he's already an adult. Never seen him as a child. Completely decayed me though, so I punched him." Carlitos explained casually as if he was not painfully decayed into oblivion by the said leader of the LoV. "I like the kid, he got potential. I know just by looking from his eyes that he'll be far worse than me."

"A monster like y-"

"Now, now, what did I say? I'm not a monster, a devil, nor a god. I'm simply human." Carlitos corrected All Might once again. "You do know that guards are now rushing to this room to escort you out, right? Make sure they hold up their end of the bargain, and I will hold up mine. Another way to sweeten the deal. Tell Eraserhead this word: 'Kurogiri'. It's up to him whether he figures it out or not."

All Might stood up, bewildered by what Carlitos meant. The guards came into the room, ready to escort him out. "What does Kurogiri have anything to do with Aizawa?"

{- To Be Continued...

There ya go.

Bakugou: Eh, decent.

Fair enough.

Bakugou: When's the rematch happening? Deku got 1 win over me and I got 1 win over him.

Probably far off from now. There's still a match between Bakugou and Ojiro. He's defending the championship belt.

Bakugou: Ah, right, the Gold Lightning Championship

Anyway, leave a like, comment, and subscribe. PEACE!
