Got to get back -back to the past. Samurai Jack

20 years before Japans invasion Samurai Jack arrive in this alternative dimension or world as he travel the world he learns of its history, culture and war. The more he travels the more chaos and corruption can be seen through his eyes. Jack has forgotten the dark side of humanity that can be sway like Aku poison.

He has travel the world and save many lives like defeating bandits, saving village's the stuff that he always do, rumours spread of a wandering samurai wearing a simple white and grey gi in the style of a kimono, a white obi around his waist, and a pair of wooden geta, wielding only a Katana sword.

The tale spread of his heroic and noble deeds became a topic among younger generation as they wanted to be like samurai Jack especially the Japanese. The Emperor of Britannia Charles zi Britannia already knew the existence of the samurai as such he sent soldiers, armies, assassins and knights but it was proven in vain as he defeated and killed them all only using a sword not even the fastest bullets could killed him and he just cut the tanks like paper.

During his travel he was finally confront by Bismark Waldensteain the knight of one also known as the strongest knight in the world who challenge the samurai in a one on one duel as such two powerful warriors duel with such ferocity, the duel started on the afteroon continue until dawn as the sky was turning dark. Both duelist were reaching their limit. It it's not just strength and skills but mentality and spirit of warrior.

Jack was able injured Bismark even when their swordsmanship was even. But Jack has a lot experience facing foes who are quicker, faster, bigger, deadlier and unpredictable. Jack won even when Bismark use his geass to see the future. As it said if anyone who defeated the knight of one will be given the title but the stoic samurai has no need for such power and title he disappear just like the wind.

The Emperor heard of Bismark defeat and kept it a secret it will shame the Britannia supremacy name but rumours still spread as the strongest knight of one was defeated by the wandering samurai. Those who heard this made stories of the wandering samurai as it becomes a legend in Japan Folklore.

As Jack continue traveling the world, he manage to save a boy who was in a village that was attack by Britannia soldiers he was to late to save the others but he manage to gave the little immortal a permanent scar. The boy told him who he was he felt pity and decided to a adopt him along with the other boys and girls he meet during his travel.

He at first fear to adopt them because death and chaos follow him around like a plague, in the end he can't leave them even cubs need a grownup to take care of them.

He raise them healthy even during travel from the hot place like dessert to the coldest place on earth. The journey was hard but they enjoy the adventure together. Sometime they would laugh, cry, angry and sing together like family.

He taught them how to read, martial arts, magic and other things during his travel so that they will be ready to face the world .Then one day he decided to settle down in Japan his homeland. No matter how different it is it felt a feeling of peace and nostalgia to finally return to the soil of the place he was born .

Jack decided to open a school as a place of learning and orphanage at the same time. He obraied supports from the House of Kyoto. They owe him a debt of gratitude. On Japan he encounter a boy or more likely found him his name was Rai and that's the only clue he has lost his memories about his past in which Jack understand the bit feeling.

Few years have passed ever since Jack open the school they were called Jack disciple or The students this children who are orphans, abandon, betray and left to die are living a happy life with their teacher Jack. The children were stronger that an average children as Jack Spartan train them but they were Happy since Jack was like a father figure to them, it didn't matter if they are from different nation, country and culture he treated them equally and a the same time they love him and respect him like a father figure.

Jack helped Akito with his Geass issue that befell on him by Shin as he manage to broke the Geass command with his own will power and unlock an ability to his increase senses. He also consults Akito of his problems and trauma regarding to his childhood. Akito first felt no attachment to Jack byt as time pass he was like a good father figure to him. As Akito manage to smile like a normal person among his peers.

OZ trained harder for revenge is what drives him to be stronger, he was weak when he couldn't do a thing to save his love one, he appreciate Jack for saving him but his heart could never forgotten the massacre and the death of his love one, those happy days that he live was gone because of Britannia and revenge is the only thing that drives him. Jack can't help him with his revenge but he can only help to ease the pain.

Rai condition was like Jack the boy was ageless like him for unknown reason, Jack found the boy with no memories as a noble heart he took him as his students. The boy love Jack like a father he never had. The boy trained harder like the rest he wanted to surpass Jack and OZ as his rival.

This three students were among the strongest under Jack tutor they were not really friends more likely just Rivals. But there bound with each other is strong. He wish this happy life will last with his new family.

But the peace didn't last when Britannia declare war on Japan.

10 years later

A boy with snow white hair was wearing a skin tight black Shinobi suit wore an oni mask on his face was sneaking around a factory at night he heard about this place was selling refrain in secret as such he needed to destroyed it. As he sneak he found out two people were exchanging something as such he took a picture as evidence. He did this to rid of the corruption within area 11 as those with power abuse those below them.

After taking pictures he would appear in front of his target to intimidate them as always brought their guns and aim at the mask vigilante which proves futile as he dodged and slice bullets like popping bubbles and them force them to confess and eliminate the criminals on spot. If there's a knightmare he will fight it using only his sword. Since it's much quieter to eliminate targets.

People might think a person against a knightmare is suicide but not for the masked vigilante. He was trained by the infamous Samurai Jack. The samurai thought him how to fight bigger opponent's whom are giant size it was easy as the knightmare weakness is that he was faster as the vigilante dodged bullets and jump to attack the cockpit and killing the pilot. The sword he use has being scrip with RUNES that allows to increase sharpness and toughness is why he was able to cut down knightmares like cutting down paper.

News spread about the Vigilante called Shiroyasha by the locals who took down corrupted and powerful , the Japanese would praise him the Britannia's would sneer him, the younger generation would worship him. He didn't do this because of heroism act he just didn't like how the Britannia took all what his sensei love, this land that he grew up with his new family.

But in the Day he was Ray Hodgess just a normal student whose a part of the student council whom he attends of his daily life in Ashford. Right after the War and Jack went missing they didn't know what happen when suddenly an explosion happen on where he fought. If he was dead their would be trace of his cloths and sword in the crater but no.

The students knew that their master went on a journey again he told story how once he was swoop away by destiny and it wasn't the first as he showed them proof of his story. He gave them a message to walk their own path, change your fate by force and keep believing for what is right. The students decided to go on their separate way and they will assemble again when their teacher called them or something important. As sign of respect they would wore the same symbol Zintaris on their clothes and other things including knightmares.

Akito was facing against Shin his blood half related brother in the final battle as both of them draw their swords aiming towards each other as both of them ready to end their feud once and for all. If the old Akito he would try to pursued and stop his brother madness.

But as his sensei thought him they walk his own path and Shin walk this path, but that doesn't mean he can't try to pursued and stop him.

"It's over Shin your armies already abandon you, your knightmare is destroyed and there is no support ".

"It's not over as long I live this world will burn, die! " as shin cast the command Geass again on Akito but it was proof useless as Akito able to broke the Geass easily like small migraine he felt and that was all he felt.

"How , how could you even able to break the Geass that holds you!"Shin was getting frustrated everything doesn't seem go his way. Ever since he face Akito on the battlefield his little brother out class and out matched him on every turn.

"My master was the one who thought me how to break the curse like water flow, follow the current do not fight it let it flow and guide you". Akito explained.

"I will ask you again Shin You have chosen this path. Life works in strange and mysterious ways. Your choices have clearly led you here, as have mine. I will give you a new choice: Leave here now and live... or stay and face your destiny". As Akito using the words that his master that once said to him.

"Face my destiny …. HA HA HA HA HA are insulting me!" as he snarl towards Akito the feeling of being humiliated was unbearable.

Akito close his eyes understanding that his words wont be heard anymore "So... I guess you're staying. Perhaps I was foolish to persuade you brother".

"Enough with the lecture lets end this my destiny is your defeat that is my answer" as he sheeted his sword.

"Very well. The decisions you make and the actions that follow are a reflection Of who you truly are" as Akito doing the same.

"Just shut up with all that crap!"

As both combatant in stance waiting for each other to make their first move, it was complete silence waiting for the right moment then a small acorn felt was heard acted like a bell then both of them dash towards each other pulling their weapon. From their point of view it felt like eternity as both of them push their wits to the limit.

Was the last sound to be heard before complete silence. The only sound can be heard is the comrades that he knew coming to his rescue. As both combatant were standing like nothing happen and when Akito sheated back his sword Shin collapse from Akito wound. As blood spurt on the ground like fountain.

"Why are you stronger Akito tell me, who is your master that train you". Akito pull his brother to him embracing to let see his face one more time. Even Shin did so many unspeakable atrocities he was still the brother he love.

"His name is Samurai Jack".

Shin eyes widen in realization "Ha Ha Ha Ha so the rumors are true the samurai does exist, he was the one who taught you how live and fight".

"Yes, but he told that he was once sought death like you brother but he still believe there is something worth living and a better tomorrow".

" I see, maybe if I have meet Samurai Jack would our path be different?"

"I don't know brother" Then Shin subordinate came looking at him with different expression especially Jean whom crying looking at the person she love.

"Jean this is my last order live, chose your own path including you Ashley Ashra".

"Shin please you can't die!" Jean pleaded

" No I choose this path and I must face it with pride" Then he look at Akito one last time" Tell me what was the samurai like?"

"His a very strong person brother, I never even once see him unbroken and unbound by anything he was like a good teacher and a father figure to me".

"I see I'm happy for you". Shin finally close his eyes forever. Those were his last words to Akito. Everything was over .

Then suddenly a falcon appear landing on Akito shoulder. on it's talon was a message with the symbol' that only those who learned from Jack school would know.

"What is it Akito?" Leila was worried as Akito eyes was very serious when reading the letter.

"I'm sorry Everyone Ayano we need to go back".

" Go back, you mean back there".

" Yes were going back to Japan". The message said that something big was going to happen in Japan not only that it has Rai signature on it.

The black knights finally meet the person that called himself Shiroyasha or the vigilante. Lelouch wanted the strength and skills of that person he already seen how a human being fight against hordes of knightmares only using a sword and grappling hook. As such he needed his strength so a sign of trust he was the only one here.

"Zero leader of the black knights might I know why you wanted to see me here?" Rai already knew but it's sometimes better asked the first question.

"I heard tales of you Shiroyasha a man that able to defeat a knightmare using only a sword if I haven't seen it myself I might not believe it".

"Cut the chatter what do you want Zero, you didn't came for small talk".

" Very Well I want you to be part of the black knights" It was true with Shiroyasha help taking down Britania will be simple.

"What reason you want my help. You seem able to do better on your own?".

"With your ability we the black knights will be stronger to fight against those who are corrupted".

The words sound so good especially helping others and stop the corrupted, But no the action of Zero wasn't a person like a hero. Rai know who is a real Hero . That person was his mentor, master and father figure was the true hero. Zero is nothing more than a person using others. Only those who are desperate flock him like sheep's and it's Shepard guiding them. Not only that Zero has the trusts issues with others.

" It sound so good but I refuse".

Lelouch was shocked thinking that a person like him would accept since their goals are similar

"My reason of fighting might be the same but I don't trust you Zero you might able to fool this desperate people but not me I can tell you what kind of person you are, you're the type who would sacrifice others for his own benefit".

"Your silence spoke true to my words I've seen you coordinate attacks during the battle of Saitama Ghetto was childish and flaws, you think just because you could use them like chess pieces but wrong real war is different than chess pieces unlike chess there are no rules to obey.

"…."Lelouch can only gritted his teeth the feeling of being humiliated by the samurai right in front of him it was like talking to C.C. again.

"I won't join your fight. I fought for the people and my master honour. But if you betray their trust your head will be the one gone and I don't think your geass and immortal friend can stop me for I alone is stronger than all of you." as he disseaper into the shadow like he was never there before.

Lelouch eyes widen in horror of the revelation that Shiroyasha already who he was and that was dangerous.

Princess Euphemia went missing went the pacific war began for unknown reason she disappeared from her room they were no breaking and entering and makes it more mysterious as there's no letter, no blackmail no nothing it was just like she disappear from thin air , if that wasn't enough Cornelia went into hysteria searching for her in pendragon but there was no sign of her. She called any one available knights, soldiers, police and rewards for the search of her sister.

The truth was their was a fracture with time and space went jack defeated Aku cause the ten year old princess to be teleported to somewhere on the planet all she knew she was in a deep dark forest. As a sheltered princess she was scared and don't what to do she would have starve if she have not meet Jack during his travel.

The meeting between the legendary samurai and the naive princess could be described destiny and what effect for the samurai towards a sheltered princess. When Jack first saw her. He knew who she was when he seen her in the papers the missing princess.

As noble as Jack was he wasn't like any of the Japanese that would hurt a ten year old girl out of a grudge because her country invaded Japan a place that was like his original home or would use her as a hostage as such he took her like the others. At first the princess was wary of him since her sister told her don't trust stranger but the samurai was different she felt like she could trust him so she join in his travel.

During their journey Euphemia or Euphy for short travel together with Jack as such she had to trim her hair short into a ponytail and wearing a hooded cloak to hide her face from everyone including those who want to use her as bargaining chip and those who want to hurt her.

As they travel the world Euphy saw many wondrous things in the world that not can be seen through television or an air transport that she used to do. The beauty of nature that can felt through her skin was something she crave for so long, being a princess she live like a caged bird, she wanted to be free for once she even made friends with the local fauna.

But there always a different side of everyone coin as Euphy witness the atrocities of humanity to others especially Britannia, she witness a Britannia soldier razing a village all of it's supplies and it was Jack that came to the rescue. The princess watch how the world works through her own eyes. As jack explain the philosophy between good, evil and both.

They continue to travel the world seeing and experience both good and bad during that time Jack would thought all the knowledge and all the things she needs to know including martial arts and knowledge. Euphy could say she was sad and happy at the same time the sad part is that she hasn't sent a letter to her sister and family that she is alright as newspaper was telling her that she was missing. The good part was being finally free since she was a child she once told Lelouch that she wanted to see the world, and finally she could see and feel it all.

Tough she's afraid to be locked inside a cage called home, she wanted to venture the world a little more as reason why she beg Jack not to take her to the Britannia authorities, she learn that everyone just putting a face if they she was Princess Euphemia they would sugar coat their words. Now as she look like a commoner they treated like second class citizen the feeling was different unlike the time she was in disguise. It was different feeling like being a nobody how they treated her along with Jack. Of course just because you wore a tattered cloak.

4 years have past and it was time for the princess to go home back to her homeland. The authorities found her wandering the streets of Pendragon wearing a dirty rag cloak as she was brought to her family by some noble who wanted a reward, when the Royal family heard about this the one who rush towards was Cornelia who cried with joy seeing her sister alive.

Euphy was brought back to Pendragon as she was kept close with Cornelia as her sister wouldn't leave her but there was one thing she denied about Euphemia being different thinking it was just outside alone. Unlike Bismark whom saw something about the Princess he saw something in her eyes it was the eyes of a warrior who saw and experience both good and bad things and a familiar eyes. It was when a time the knight of one walk past the Princess and ask her a question.

" Did you meet the samurai" He asked

"Yes" as the princess walk past the knight of one without any fear.

The black rebellion Began as Britannia betray Euphy SAZ that she plan of course was for the sake of his lost siblings to allow them to be together again the plan of the Zone was not only to buy time to assemble Jack disciple and a safe zone from Britannia. Of course if she was Naïve like her former self she would believe in the good of humanity. That was just and empty dream reality is always harsher.

She was wearing usual civilians clothes ( sakura wars Kimono) and confronting the white knight as the pilot of the Lancelot was facing Euphy one of Jack disciple. Suzaku was alluded about Euphy being geass but right know she's facing the Lancelot only using her dual swords but her eyes aren't being geass at all it was the eyes of a warrior and it terrifies Suzaku the feeling of fighting the person he trust.

"So Suzaku are going to continue hide in your armour or face me like a true samurai"

"Euphy stop this isn't you". The white tried to reason with her.

"This is me and always being me Suzaku the time when we first meet I wanted to hear your reason joining Britannia and I concluded one thing you are a coward that runs away from your responsibility".

Suzaku flinch hearing what the samurai princess said.

"I've seen why you always put your self in danger it wasn't about saving others is just that you wanted to commit Kamikaze to redeem yourself but in truth you are running away just like now. You have two choice confront one on one without using that knightmare with me or stay inside that tin can like the coward your are, make your choice". As the princess prepared to fight.

Suzaku was baffle it wasn't about what Princess Euphemia said but betting on his heritage confronting the Princess with a knightmare would make him a coward like Britannia but if fought her one on one he doesn't know if he can bet her the feeling in his gut was telling her the Princess was stronger than her.

Suzaku finally came out and face Princess Euphemia as both of them held their swords as he tried to reason with her again of the foolishness following zero.

"I'm not following Zero Suzaku this is my own free will if your going to continue deluded yourself that I'm being control then you're running from the truth en garde" as both them charge to fight it was vicious clash as Euphy didn't gave Suzaku a room to breath and Suzaku was to hesitate such Euphy slash Suzaku face leaving slash mark on his nose infront of his face.

"Tell me Suzaku do you think I'm being Geass"

Suzaku couldn't answer the way how the Princess fight was to good and her eyes were a sign of being control at all. If she was control there was no way she could move and fight that skilful.

"I take that silence as you are a fool". Euphy continue her attack until she manage to knock him out. But from her heart she felt utter sadness. It wasn't just that she defeated Suzaku it was that he was running away that was sadden her.

No matter how she tried to explain Suzaku he won't except the truth. But she remembers her master words if this his path.

This idea I got from Samurai Jack vs Holy Britannian Empire and also after watching the final season of samurai jack and Gintama.

In The anime Gintama shouyu took orphans and raise them as his own as they learn and loved them like a supose father figure. Euphemia went missing due to Aku magic, as he detested innocence and kindness is why he sent the little princess to the cruel world of reality. Akito battling againts Shin unlike in the Canon Akito has his resolve to fight his brother along with Ayano whom is part of Jack's disciple.
