A/N: This is not beastiality. If you saw this story on another account this isn't plagiariasm it's me. I changed my orginal story idea of merpeople to b'witchers/wizardesses I re-posted this story because I'm shaking off a stalker
Sirius Black floated around Grimmauld place, packing his trunk. Bellatrix, and Narcissa studied at a place called the Great Lake 9 months out of a year. Dobbi Black was born half house elf, half merperson due to a dark ritual gone wrong. She also went to the Great lake to escape. But Sirius wanted to go to the world above them. He was curious about what was there. He swam out of Grimmauld Place with his trunk behind him.
The Blacks were B'witchers and Wizardesses. B'witchers and Wizardesses are Wizards and Witches was like a merperson and witch/wizard hybrid. They had webbed legs with a tail. They also have dorsal fins on the entire back of their necks, lower back too.
The magical genetic mutation happened because of the wizards and witches were turned into fishes by the spell pisifors. Then the witches and wizards reproduced as fishes. And when they did the eggs they laid got genetic mutations because the wizards or witches reproduced while fishes. The genetic mutation caused the offspring to be born as fish then turn into a wizard/witch or b'witcher/wizardess. The b'witcher/wizardess' offspring aren't born as fish but the genetic mutation from the b'witcher/wizardess is passed down. Eventually the genetic mutation was wide spread like the one that causes red hair.
It was so widespread that B'witcher/wizardesses could also be born from muggle parents. Muggleborns were descendants of squibs, who had married muggles and whose family lost their knowlege of their wizarding ancestry. The heritable traits of magic meant siblings could be muggle borns or the muggleborn inherited the magical genetic mutation that made them B'witchers or wizardesses.
Merpeople and centaurs reject the status as beings, but B'witcher/Wizardesses were automatically granted being status. Their B'witcher/wizardess' parents would be surprised when they could stay under water for a long time. Or grew fins on their legs and got webbed legs, 3 feet apart, after 11 years. And doctors couldn't explain it. Pureblood Bwitcher/Wizardesses were born with dorsal fins and webbed legs.
It would be explained when the B'witcher/Wizardesses headmistress came to explain to the muggle parents. Some B'witcher/Wizardesses would stay underwater and visit their muggle family. Or they would live with or near their muggle families on shore houses, and live half underwater and half on land. But sometimes some B'witchers/Wizardesses lived on land.
Pureblood or ''half breed''(part mer or undine) B'witcher/Wizardesses spoke the Merperson language: Mermish. While half bloods and muggleborn B'witcher/Wizardesses spoke Mermish and wizard languages.
Pureblood b'witcher and Wizardesses in particular were angry when Chief Elfrida Clagg didn't feel merpeople were beings, because according to her they couldn't "speak the human tongue". Pureblood B'witcher/Wizardesses believed the ones above water was had problem truly hearing mermish, while they didn't have a problem truly hearing mermish or wizard languages.
b'witcher/Wizardesses who stayed above land was ostracized and labeled as living inferior. Combined with pureblood prejudices against muggleborn B'witchers/Wizardesses, the ostracization against B'witchers/wizardesses livingon land was strong. B'witcher/Wizardesses believed Mermish was more important, and the mugglebrn b'witcher's/Wizardess' muggle relatives' language wasn't.
The Blacks were B'witcher/Wizardesses. The Blacks looked down on half bloods and muggleborns. They also thought wizards were too close/had to unnecessarily deal with mugglebornss, & muggle stuff above water. So they didn't understand get why Sirius was obsessed with above the water. All the Blacks had aristocratic look with thick, straight or wavy dark hair with crimson undertones. They had sculpted features with round but sharp noses, wide but but not thin lips, and big eyes in a narrow almond shape. The most handsome inherited the grey-green eyes Blacks were famous for. The artichoke colored eyes were also a rare trait exclusive to the Blacks. The Blacks were sen tall at 6'0" feet tall.
The Blacks lived in a lake called St Pancras King's+ Lake in London, the borough of Islington. It's just a short walk up from the King's Cross Station. A slightly long river connected their lake, King's Cross Lake to The Great Lake and they would swim there. Sirius left early to think as he swam.
Sometimes a lot of muggle things or even wizard things floated down the lake, especially the great lake for wizard things. Sirius would volunteer to go the surface to tell the Black elders where a constellation's was in the sky. The Blacks kept track of this for a naming ritual. Sirius sometimes found books and he couldn't turn the sippy pages without them ripping. But one day he found an island and stores them there. And another time he found a 2 wheel electric scooter, who he stored in the island too. But he shrunk it and put it in his bag two days ago. He was fascinated with it.
But today he found a letter in a bottle float down to him as he swam towards the Great Lake. He glanced back to see his cousins catching up.
So he took a detour and hid from their sight. Then he swam to his rock island. Once he was leaning on it and the wind blew his crimson hair, he lay belly down on the island. The sun beat down uncomfortably on his drying fins. Then a genie bottle floated towards him. He opened the bottle and gently took the letter out with his wet fingers. He u rolled the paper.

A picture of a guy or girl around Sirius's age fell out out of the stack of letters. They had mousy hair that was curled in waves and bright hazel eyes. Sirius ignored the book list. Another bottle, this time crystal, washed up to the little rock island, and Sirius caught it. He uncorked it and took another letter out. There was also a picture in it, it was the same picture as the picture included in the Hogwarts letter.
My mum used to say sending you can send your wishes in a bottle sends them to someone who can change the course of your fate. Or it takes you on new adventures. I just want to do just that, and meet someone in a world we're both at. Like this letter in a bottle, I'd like to drift until I meet someone by chance.
He put that letter and picture back in the bottle back on the island. He slithered on his rock island and he picked up a book from his collection. It had a blank page and he ripped it out. He flopped on the island looking around his collection until he found a fancy muggle pen among his collection. He wrote he'll come then put the parchment in a bottle. Then he called for his magical squid friend. He offered the squid some berries and seaweed from his collection. He put put the bottle in a small net from his collection and tied it to the squid's tentacle. "Take this to Hogwarts," He told the squid after petting it.
Sirius swam with the all the genie bottles tied to his waist bag, vowing he'd find the land of this wizard. He wouldn't know what he'd do when he got there but he'd go. He saw against the current towards the direction the bottle came from. He swam for awhile until he came to a Sea Gate. Curius he passed through it coming into a lake. He swam towards one shore of the lake. When he submerged from water and laid on the island a stunning sight met his eyes. He was the castle glittering against the night sky in all its glory. And when he looked to his left he saw the boy from the picture, on a boat staring at him.
Suddenly he was pulled back down and he saw a house elf with a bubble head charm pulling him. "Master Black is attending Hogwarts, follow me. " The house elf pulled him through the Great Lake in the direction he came from. Then the elf swam with him to a surface where a train was motionless. Sirius had never seen a train.
He was distracted as the elf dragged him to the train. "Mister is not a muggleborn B'witcher is he?" the elf asked him. "Mister doesn't look like he ever lived on land or learned to walk." The elf looked at Sirius's legs that ha a web and fins on them. "You don't walk well?"
"You're right, I'm a pureblood b'witcher, so I can't walk well at all," Sirius replied. He absently pulled out the shrunken 2 wheel ''electric'' scooter out of his pocket. The elf noticed it and enlarged it. "Twinkle can use this to help you walk " She magically enchanted it to move and securely hold B'witchers/Wizardesseses upright on it. Sirius rode the 2 wheel electric scooter onto the train, then the elf gave him Hogwarts robes to change into. Sirius usually wore a soft coral robes.
Then Sirius rode the two wheel "electric" scooter to the platform.
"Firs' years over here!" a voice boomed. "Alright there, Remus?"
A man much bigger than the average man with a thick, brown beard walked past Sirius view through the darkness. A bright white smile rested on his features, sending a friendly vibe through the darkness.
"Any more firs' years? Mind yer step, now! Firs' years follow me!" he instructed all the first years somewhere in the dark.
Sirius followed his voice and that led him down a dark and narrow path on the scooter. He felt the elf brush his back as he wheeled away which made him sure the elf would help him if he got lost. It was hard for Sirius to see in front of him, and the only source of light nearby was the little lantern way ahead of last thing Sirius was was effected by darkness especially among a herd of first years, but he felt uneasy for some reason. Maybe being among the people with two feet at night made him anxious. He wheeled faster up the path until he caught up to the first years at the end of the group.
All the first years were in them. They gawked at Sirius. "It's the giant squid!" one screamed. But a half giant greeted Sirius, "He's not the giant squid. Yer a little old to be a firs yer but this is yee firse yer transferring the Hogwarts so wheel into a boat."
"Yeh'll get yer firs' sight o' Hogwarts in a second," the big man said, "jus' round this bend here."
Sirius saw what the guy meant when he rode around the corner. Across a shimmering, moonlit lake was a Hogwarts castle illuminated by luminous, golden light. The castle glittered if Sirius squinted and it was hard to tell if the stars in the sky or castle was shining brighter.
"No more'n four to a boat!" the guy instructed as Sirius was still staring at the castle. The guy was already guided the other first years to a fleet of boats bobbing against the shore of the lake while Sirius rode up to them.
Sirius tried to ride his two wheel "electric" scooter into a boat but he couldn't move his scooter in. As he tried to get the scooter onto the boat, the boat almost capsized and one of the 1st year kids on it screamed "the giant squid is trying to get on our boat!"
"How did the squid come from the land?" another one shrieked.
"I don't know maybe they walk on land," the other screamed back. It was clear they couldn't see him too well in the dark.
"Er yeh can just hang off er one, don't want to capsize a boat before we start," the guy said. "It's faster than yer swimming behind us on the Great Lake."
Sirius's head snapped at the guy in surprise when he mentioned this was the Great Lake. He was at the place he went to his entire life and never knew the wizard land people's school was here. "Er ok!" Sirius wheeled off the boat before the poor firsties' bost apsized. He shrunk his 2 wheel scooter in a daze and flopped in the water. Then he swam to the side of the boat facing the water and hung on.
The luke warm, relaxing water jolted him back to reality. As did everyone gawking at him and some whispering, "this guy knows him he can't be a giant squid or a grindylow". He even heard, "why is a lake creature coming with us? Is this part of the sorting?"
Sirius humphed. As if he had nothing better to do than sort of a bunch of pure two leg first years.
"Everyone in?" the man shouted, now in his own boat. After a beat of silence the kids in his boat stopped twisting around to glance at him. And the other kids stopped straining their necks from their boats to glance at Sirius too. "Right then – FORWARD!" All at once, the boats moved forward together, with Sirius being pulled as he hung on, ducking underwater for ease. A few noises of excitement escaped the first years' mouths instead of whispers, and the castle seemed to grow bigger as they sailed closer to the castle. Just how captivating, bright, contorted land always got bigger as Sirius got closer to the surface.
