Marcia leaned against the wall next to The Headmaster's office after being debriefed on what she would be doing. Due to a new student from The World called Mewni, she would be escorting her to room after giving a tour of the School's Campus. 'I really hope I am not escorting a Spoiled Rich Kid type like Brittany…' She thought to herself before noticing someone with Piotr walking over. The young girl next to her seems to be looking at her surroundings with amazement and curiosity.
"It is hard to believe this entire school is just a renovated mansion… Whoever founded this place must of have deep pockets or something." The blonde girl with heart marks said aloud as Piotr went to address Marcia.
"I hope you can take it from here, Young Marcia. She can be quite a handful." Piotr told Marcia with a chuckle.
Marcia playfully rolled her eyes before walking over to The Mewman Girl. "Done Sightseeing, yet?" Marcia asked as she nudged a bit at the new girl to grab her attention.
"Yeah, I am done. Ready when you are." Announced the Blonde teen girl.
"What's your name? It would make things easier for me to know that." Marcia questioned as she crossed her arms.
"I am Princess Star Butterfly. Pleasure to meet you." Star introduced her while presenting hand for a handshake.
"Marcia Diaz-Shaw and the pleasure is mine." Marcia told Star as she spoke with a smirk while holding out her hand. Star embarrassingly laughed as the two girls broke the shake as Marcia gestured for Star to follow her.
"So, first time traveling to a new world or what?" Marcia asked as she guided her through the school, choosing the Gym Swim Area as their first stop.
"Well not exactly, but I always wanted to visit Earth due to the stories I have heard about Mutants. Is it true you guys have your own abilities?" Star asked in eagerness to learn about the population of Earth. She heard various things about the Uniqueness of Mutants, when people weren't being xenophobic about them on Mewni.
"Oh, most definitely. Although we each have our own specific power and depending on how much potential we have can determine how close one is to The Omega Level." Marcia boosted as she conjured a flame within her palm and made it dance in a beautiful fashion before making it vanish to show off. This made Star very giddy as she saw this occur as she began to jump in pure excitement from seeing a small display of Mutant Power.
"That was so cool!" Star exclaimed before recalling a certain term that her guide used. "Wait… What does the term Omega Level mean? Is that some kind of super mode or something?" Star asked while trying to figure that out on her own. Marcia was a bit surprised by how close the Mewman was with just a guess.
"I have to say I am impressed by how you were on the right track, but no. The term Omega Level means, as the original human put it, a Mutant with Godlike Abilities." Marcia explained as the two entered the pool side of the gym room where several others were swimming or messing around, despite the dismay of the instructor who seemed to be a fish-based Mutant. Before Star could ask what Humans are, she was suddenly splashed by water as someone was exiting the pool.
"Sorry about that! I didn't see you there." Stated a young girl with blonde hair with a teal streak in the front as she gave Star a towel to dry off.
"Thanks and it's ok…" Replied Star as she used the towel to dry herself off.
"Just finished with your laps in the water, Jackie?" Marcia asked with a smile as Jackie nodded in response. Shortly, Star finished drying herself off and once again was placed into a flustered state due how attractive Jackie was.
'Damn these new feelings and such! I don't need to make an embarrassment of myself on my first day!' Star told herself before recomposing herself by clearing her throat. "Thanks for the towel. My name is Princess Star Butterfly." She introduced herself as she handed back the towel.
Jackie took the towel from Star as she replied, "Name's Jackie Lynn Thomas. Pleasure to meet you." She then gave a pleasant smile while adjusting her hair so it wasn't covering her face.
"Sorry to cut this short, but we should move on." Marcia announced as she gestured for Star to follow her to their next destination.
"Right. See you later, Jackie." Star told her as Jackie waved goodbye. Star rushed over to Marcia as walked through the halls of the school.
"So, where to next?" Questioned Star with excitement as she skipped alongside Marcia.
"The Student Help Office and Mirror Room. We should get you an I.D. Card, your schedule, and your Dorm Key." Marcia explained as Star was shocked to hear that the school had dorms for the students.
"So, does that mean I am getting a roommate? I hope they are super fun to be with." Star announced in excitement as she began to imagine who would be sharing the dorm with her.
It took a while to reach The Student Help Office, but when they entered Star was a bit taken off guard by who was behind the Desk. The Mutant had dark blue skin and had the scent of Sulfur. On his hands were only three fingers in total and he also possessed a demon tail that flicked behind him as he looked through some paperwork he needed to finish. His ears were pointed at their ends and he seemed to have fangs within his mouth.
"Excuse me, Mr. Wagner?" Marcia said aloud to get the Demon-like Mutant's attention. He quickly turned to Marcia as he placed the papers down.
"I was wondering when you and Miss Butterfly would get here. I am assuming that you are here for Star's School Essentials, Correct?" Mr Wagner spoke with a slight accent, but not as strong as Piotr. Marcia nodded as The Mutant suddenly disappeared within a puff of black smoke. Star was still trying to process what she just saw before she asked Marcia about the Mutant she had just seen.
"Who was that and is he a Demon or Mutant?" Star spoked in utter confusion as she turned to Marcia for an explanation.
"He is definitely a Mutant, but I can understand the confusion. Not all Mutants retain their Humanoid form when their Mutation begins to develop and give them their powers. Some have dramatic changes to their physical forms, like Mr. Wagner, and some have minor changes, like my younger brother Tyrik." Marcia explained to the best of her abilities. Star was a bit surprised to hear that Marcia had a sibling.
"Wow… That is a bit cool to hear. Is he like you?" She asked with interest as she began to get a bit giddy about the uniqueness of earth and its people.
Marcia laughed a bit as she replied, "You should meet him yourself. I think you two will get along and hopefully we will meet him during the tour." Though, the mention of her adopted sibling did perk up something she has been noticing about Ty. "Odd side note: if you see him in some female clothing, he is experimenting with something that may concern his identity." The Fiery Mutant announced that confused Star a bit.
"What do you mean by that?" Star Questioned as she tried to understand this really strange oddity. It wasn't common for men of her world to do this kind of thing, but maybe it was for Earth and the Mewman Princess wanted to make sure that she didn't offend anyone by accident.
"Tyrik is thinking he may actually be female. This is a normal thing on Earth and it is called being Transgender. Being born as a woman when you're actually a guy and vice versa." Marcia explained simply as Star showed an expression of understanding, mostly at least.
Mr. Wagner then reappeared with a small box of items for Star to help her with the stay at the school. "This has your School ID, School Uniform for Special Events, and School Map in case you get lost." Mr. Wagner stated as he then handed her a dorm key with the number 667 on the tag attached to it. "And this is your Dorm Key. You will be sharing a room with another student, named Mabel Pines. I hope you enjoy yourself at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters." He said with a smile and bow as Star took the key and thanked him before leaving with Marcia.
"Now let's…" Marcia started before her mirror phone began to ring. She then immediately went to check it as she read that her friends were waiting for her due to an event they had planned out. "Actually… I need to get going. I have something I need to attend to." Marcia explained as she sent them a "Be there soon" text.
"That's a shame. Why don't we exchange numbers? I would like for you to introduce your brother to me when you can." Star suggested as she pulled out her own Mirror phone as Marcia agreed to the idea. Once they exchanged Numbers, Marcia started to head out with Star trying to locate her room by herself.
