Zelda found herself tied to a chair in the Hyrule Castle Library. Sitting across from her was the man who called himself Ghirahim the Demon Lord. Zant sat to her right, and was attempting to look intimidating, but without his mask he just looked silly.

"What do you want from me"? Zelda asked plainly.

"Oh, not much…Just important information" Ghirahim replied snidely. "I have a very important ritual coming up, and I'm currently lacking a vessel. You see, in order to perform this ritual I must find someone related to..Ganondorf" he continued.

Zelda held back the fury of rage that followed the sound of that disgusting name. She kept a straight face and replied that she had never heard of the man.

"Oh I know you know him. I can always tell when someone is lying! Now, tell me..does he have any living heirs"? Ghirahim asked.

Zelda replied No. Ghirahim asked the question again, but she still replied no. This irritated Ghirahim very much, and he almost threw one of his fits, but he decided to turn it over to Zant.

"Zant, can you please tell the girl what will happen if she doesn't comply"? Ghirahim asked playfully with a grotesque grin.

"If you don't comply…your…Majesty. We will be forced to search the kingdom for your supposed..Son" Zant answered.

Zelda couldn't beat it any longer.

"Just promise that no harm shall come to him"! She blurted out.

"So, you did have a son with him. Well, now we're getting somewhere. Where are you hiding him"? Ghirahim asked.

"An outpost in Gerudo Desert. Just let me see him, he'll be scared and won't comply with you"! Zelda answered pleadingly.

"Oh, don't you worry. Your son will be in good hands. We'll let you see him, but under one condition" Ghirahim smiled.

"I don't have time for your games! What are your terms? I'll do anything to see my son"! Zelda said desperately.

"Good answer," Ghirahim grinned. He motioned to Zant, and Zant snapped his fingers. The last thing Zelda remembered was going unconscious.

When she awoke, she found herself in a familiar void. The same one she had been in when Ganondorf had controlled her. She could feel her body, but she couldn't control it. Zant now had her in his grasp. She had been let out of the chair, and walked to the Great Hall. This is where she had a seat on her throne and waited. She stood when Ghirahim appeared in front of her with her son. She felt herself speak, but she couldn't make out the words. She saw Tobonor cower away from her. It made her burst into tears to have him see her like this. She wanted to comfort him and tell him that this wasn't her, but she couldn't. Then, she had an idea. She still had control over her piece of the Triforce of Wisdom. She used all her strength to call out to the other pieces. This included Tobonor's Triforce of Power that he had inherited from his father.

Far away, deep in the Forest Temple, the others were in battle with Diababa. They were losing, but the battle turned when the Triforce pieces began to glow. Ursula, Link, and Linkle used the light to defeat Diababa. Diababa cried in pain and agony, and crumpled to the ground. It shriveled up to reveal a pale Midna. Ivena gasped and was the first to run over to her sister as the others recovered from the explosion of power. Link was the first to recover as he had used this power before. During that moment he could feel the presence of all the Triforce pieces, including Power. He had seen the bearer, and he was only a young boy, but he looked like Ganondorf. This worried him, but for the time being he had to focus on Midna.

"You did it again," Midna said weakly.

"Midna! Did it eat you"? Link asked, knowing only Linkle and Midna could hear him.

"No silly, I…" Midna's words stopped as she went unconscious.

"What should we do"? Ivena panicked.

"We need to bring her to the spring quickly," Ursula responded.
