Ivena teleported the group out of the Temple and they were immediately went into Faron Woods, now cleansed of Twilight. Ursula's half Sheik appearance returned to normal, Link returned to his Hylian form, the monkeys became more than souls, and Midna became a much paler and thinner version of her true self. Linkle however, stayed a fox and was very confused, but was too concerned for Midna to be worried about that now. Ivena was almost blinded by how much light there was, and she had to squint to be able to see. She wondered how she could exist in the light world, and surprisingly her question was answered by Ursula.
"You're one of the six sages that protect the light world. This allows you to exist out of the Twilight" Ursula said telepathically.
This only confused Ivena more, but they had more pressing matters to attend to. They made it to Faron Spring and the light spirit Faron appeared.
"Quickly, lay her down in the pool of water. It will take a lot to save her from this curse" Faron said.
"Curse? What Curse"? Ivena asked with concern.
"Ivena, your sister has been cursed with the bite of shadow. It comes from creatures affected by Twili magic. In this case, she was bitten by Diababa. The bite has weakened her and appears to be giving her visions of the monster, and that she IS the monster. However, this is not true, and if I don't act soon, she will become a Deku Baba" Faron explained.
After a few moments of transferring his power to her, Faron gave out a gasp.
"I'm afraid that I can only stop the curse from spreading. She will have nightmares instead of visions, and she will need convincing that the visions are not real. Without the full power of the other two Light Spirits, I'm afraid this is all I can do" Faron said sadly.
Within a few seconds, Midna's color returned, and she awoke.
"Thank you for saving me, Faron" she said.
"How do we return Linkle to her true form"? Ursula asked.
"I can do that right now, although it may not be what you expect," Faron replied.
With a flash of light, Linkle felt herself transform. She looked at her reflection in the water and gasped. Her clothes had changed into a mix of her previous outfit, and what looked like Midna and Ivena's clothing. Her hair was still in it's two normal braids, but was now auburn. Her eyes had changed from their normal blue to violet. The biggest change of all was her skin, which was now white and black, and had green markings in random places.
"Linkle, let me explain your true form to you. Right after you were born, you were left in a Castle Town alleyway. Your mother didn't want to abandon you, but was embarrassed and didn't want others to know. Your mother is Midna and your father is Link" Faron began.
Midna burst into tears from hearing his words, and Link fainted.
