Log 2: Card Mania

Cover Image: Ben and Yukiko sat at the table in the Rustbucket, playing a game of cards. Ben had thrown his cards up in frustration over his loss to his cousin, while Yukiko was brimming with a bright light over her victory.

"Staring at it won't make it open any faster, Ben."

The young hero turned around to give Yukiko an annoyed glance. "It's the only thing I can do to pass the time."

"You could do your chores as you wait," She suggested. They both looked over to the back of the RV where Ben's dirty laundry was sprawled all over.

"Nah, that's why you're here," He dismissed her. Suddenly, the back of his collar was gripped and he was pulled away from the Rustbucket's window, he was turned around to meet Yukiko's eyes.

"You could do your chores, Benjamin," She commanded.

Not wanting to draw anymore of her irritation, Ben grumbled under his breath. She dropped him and watched as he marched off to clean up his clothes. She sighed, knowing that she would end up having to wash them, because the boy didn't know how the washing machine worked.

Putting her attention back to the store that they were currently parked at; Yukiko thought back to the commercial that caught the boy's attention so quickly.

"Limited Edition Sumo Slammers Trading Cards now on sale!"

Ben had been so excited about it that he had practically begged their Grandpa to take them to the store. So, earlier in the morning they had finally arrived in front of a local shop that sold trading cards. Yukiko couldn't entirely blame Ben for being so excited to get his hands on those cards, considering the last time he had come close to it they had to deal with an evil scientist.

"Though, I still don't understand the point of trading cards. It's just paper," Yukiko mumbled to herself.

Gwen, who was busy on her laptop, glanced up at her. "Mainly for people to play games against other people, like Poker or Uno. On the other hand it can be used as collectibles for people to sell at higher prices years later when it'll be at a higher value," Gwen answered.

"So, which side of these is Ben on?" Yukiko asked.

"He'll probably just keep them for himself, because of how obsessed he is," Gwen said.

"Of course, I am! Why would I ever sell something so precious?" Ben tossed the last of his dirty clothes into the hamper. He walked over to the two of them with his hands in his pockets. "Besides, it's much more fun to play against people with the video games than the card game. Less need to interact with weirdos," Ben said.

"True, you could meet a lot of people at conventions or stores like these," Gwen agreed with him.

"How would you know that, Gwen?" Yukiko questioned; the heiress had never gone to a convention before. She saw that Gwen's face had turned red at the question, while Ben just smirked evilly.

"That's because-"

"Don't you dare, dweeb!" Gwen tried to stop him, but the boy was undeterred.

"A year ago Gwen went to a book convention for one of her favorite series Harry Potter. She was so excited about it that she even dressed up as her favorite character Hermione, but was traumatized by what she had seen in the convention hall," Ben snickered.

Gwen's hands trembled. "I-It was awful! Nobody was even discussing the intricacies about the story or characters! It was nothing but people arguing about who should've ended up with who or forgetting what personal boundaries are! Ugh!" Gwen wanted to wash away the memories.

Yukiko winced at Gwen's tale, relating to how people would constantly try to get close to her, only to be thwarted by Chie before anything could happen. While she had never been to convention herself, it didn't sound like a pleasant experience. "I hope you don't plan to stay too long, Ben," Yukiko turned to him.

"No way! We just need to buy the cards then we can head out. Nothing's gonna stop me from getting my Sumo Slammers this time!" Ben pounded his fist into his palm.

"And if some strange villain does?" Gwen raised an eyebrow.

"Then they'll get a taste of my four fisted knuckles!" Ben held up the Omnitrix. Suddenly, the door to the Rustbucket opened up, their Grandpa entering.

"Well, you're in good luck, Ben. Seems the stores are just about to open up," Max informed him.

"Sweet!" Ben rushed out of the RV to be first in line. Yukiko followed Ben out of the Rustbucket, mainly to ensure the boy doesn't cause trouble.

As Ben was about to reach the entrance to the store, he was knocked out of the way by a larger body. "Guh!" Ben fell flat on his butt, Yukiko rushed over to him.

"Are you okay, Ben?" She asked, kneeling down to him.

"Ugh, yeah," He answered. Ben turned his attention to the guy who knocked him over. "Watch where you're walking, buddy!"

The larger man had long orange hair and sunglasses. He was dressed in a large trench coat and black pants. He tilted his sunglasses down to look down at the Tennyson boy. "How about you watch where you're going, kid? You should know better than to get in an adult's way," He said before entering the shop.

Yukiko glared at the man's back. "Didn't anyone ever teach you to watch out for those smaller than you?" She growled.

"Whatever, all that matters is that I get my Sumo Slammers cards!" Ben raced into the shop. Yukiko followed after, glancing around the wide array of games that littered the shop.

"Hm? So, this is what a game shop is like?" She walked over to one of the shelves and took one of the board games off of the shelf. "Maybe, the Inn could benefit from some American made games," She said to herself.

While Yukiko was busy deciding on her own games to buy, Ben was admiring the Sumo Slammers trading card case. "Alright, finally you'll be mine," He grinned. He looked up at the sign above the case.

Every 5 packs includes a rare! Try your luck to complete a set!

Ben smirked, ready to reach in and take as many packs as he could. Before he could plunge his hands into the basket, he was unceremoniously bumped out of the way once again and was knocked onto the floor. He got up and glared at the guy who hit him. "Hey! Watch where you're-"

"Oh, it's you again," The same man from before interrupted him.

"You! What's your deal?" Ben asked, angry.

"My deal is having to deal with brats like you getting in my way," He answered, rudely. He peered into the packs, scanning over each one slowly, then he plunged his hands inside and took out 3 packs. Ben looked at him confused.

"Uh? You do know that you're gonna need more than that to get anything rare, right?" Ben told him.

The man didn't even look towards Ben as he answered. "If I were you, I'd mind my own business. Here," He reached back into the basket and tossed a random pack at Ben. The boy caught it in his hands as the man walked away from him.

Yukiko made her way to him, a multitude of board games in her arms, the heiress was struggling to hold them all by herself. "H-Hey, Ben? Do you think the money Grandpa gave us can cover all of these?" The tower of board games became too much for her and she fell over, the games piled on top of her. "Ow…"

Ben sweat dropped at Yukiko's failure. He glanced down at the pack in his hands and huffed in annoyance. Something about that guy rubbed him the wrong way, and the pack in his hands just felt wrong.

Yukiko struggled to pull the bag of board games through the Rustbucket's door. The heiress stopped pulling for a moment to catch her breath. "Maybe, buying all of these wasn't the best idea…," She said to herself. The heiress turned to her cousins. "Can I get some help here?"

"You're fine," Ben shrugged, opening up the packs he bought.

"Good luck, Yukiko," Gwen responded, still scrolling through her computer. The heiress sighed in reluctance and got back to trying to pull the bag through the door.

Ben tossed the packs he had bought to the side and groaned into his hands. "Twelve packs and nothing! Those signs lied to me!" Ben yelled.

Gwen looked over her computer screen and pointed at his pile. "What about that one?" She pointed at the one pack that Ben hadn't opened.

Ben gave the pack a weird stare. "I don't want to open that one."

"Then why did you buy it?"

"Yukiko bought it, while she was pushing everything onto the counter," Ben grunted.

"I could still use some help!" Yukiko called to them.

Both kids turned to her. "You're doing great!" They shouted, then returned to their conversation. Gwen grabbed the pack and held it in front of Ben.

"If you're not gonna open it then I will," She placed both her hands on the plastic to tear it open, but Ben ripped it out of her hands before she could.

"No way, dweeb! It's mine!" Ben didn't want Gwen to touch his card. Tearing the pack open, Ben searched through the cards until he got to the last one in the pack. The boy's mouth dropped open as he gazed at the last card. "It's actually a limited edition Gold Sumo Slammers card!"

"See, you almost missed that because you decided to be a baby," Gwen smirked.

"I wasn't acting like a baby! I just didn't want something a jerk gave me!" Ben snapped back. However, contrary to his words the boy was holding the card close to his chest.

Gwen leaned back in her seat with a teasing smile. "Well, maybe next time you'll learn not to lick a gift horse in the mouth."

Yukiko grunted as she continued to pull on the bag. "I don't think licking a horse on the mouth is sanitary," She cut into the conversation.

Gwen sighed at her cousin's inability to understand cultural sayings. "No, Yukiko, that's not what I meant," Gwen said.

"Anyway, I'll just put this little baby into a sleeve and put it somewhere it'll never get hurt," Ben held the card close to his face.

Gwen looked a bit creeped out by his behavior. "Okay, just stop doing that," She told him.

POP!

"I got it-PWAH!" Yukiko was hit face first with the large bag of games. The heiress crumpled to the ground with the bag sitting on her face. Ben and Gwen sweat dropped at the scene they had just witnessed.

Max exited the bathroom right at that moment. "Ahh, you kids ready to go now?" He asked. The Grandpa looked down to see his eldest granddaughter lying on the floor. "Huh? Yukiko, what are you doing on the floor?"

The heiress just groaned in pain, twitching slightly.

Ben was so caught up in seeing what happened to Yukiko that he missed the slight glow that came from the Sumo Slammers card.

Ben's eyes snapped open to be welcomed by the darkness of the night. He sat up in his bunk, looking over and to see Gwen sleeping soundly next to him. Rubbing his own eyes, Ben crawled out of the top bunk. He silently walked past the sleeping Yukiko and Max to reach the fridge. Opening it up, his face scrunched up at the sight of their leftover dinner that Yukiko had cooked.

Reaching past it, he grabbed the carton of milk, and closed the fridge. He popped the lid off and drank out of the carton, even though he's been told not to. He took the carton with him to the front of the RV and sat down in the passenger seat. He leaned back in it and looked out of the windshield to stare at the stars.

Tink! Tink!

The boy's head snapped to his right. He looked out of the window to see what was making that noise. What the boy didn't expect to see was a large sumo wrestler with gold plating around his body standing outside of the window. Ben blinked in pure disbelief for a few moments at what he was looking at. Then turned his attention to the carton of milk in his hands. "Man, mom was right, I really shouldn't drink milk before bed," He said to himself.

Against better judgement, Ben rolled down the window. "Uh? Hello-"

A swollen hand wrapped itself around Ben's smaller frame and pulled the boy through the open window. He was then tossed across the grassy ground roughly. Ben groaned in pain as he sat up on his knees. "Disrupting someone's milk time isn't cool…uh giant gold Ishiyama? Wait, how are you even here?" Ben asked, baffled.

The golden sumo didn't answer, he knelt down and slammed his feet onto the ground. The earth beneath them shook, even bouncing the Rustbucket slightly. The sumo placed one hand on his knee and extended his other hand, motioning Ben to come at him.

The boy smirked at the challenge. "Well, if you won't tell me now, then I'll just have to beat it out of you!" Ben activated the Omnitrix and slammed down the dial. A green flash enveloped the empty park and in Ben's place stood a hulking red figure with four arms.

"Four Arms!" He roared as his transformation finished. The tetramand flexed his arms and matched the Sumo's stance. "Come on, round boy! Let's get this done before morning!" Four Arms grinned, cocky.

The sumo charged forward with his palm extended, ready to pound the cocky hero. Four Arms stood there, prepared to tank the hit. However, he was shocked by the strength of the strike and was pushed back by the sumo. "Woah! You're packing more of a punch than I thought! My turn!" Four Arms pulled back his upper right palm and slapped the sumo in the forehead.

The golden wrestler was pushed backwards but held his ground and grabbed Four Arms' extended arm. He then used his other hand to grab Four Arms' shirt collar, twisted his large body, and the sumo wrestler flipped Four Arms over him. The tetramand crashed into the earth with a loud thud.

The sound was loud enough to wake the other three compatriots inside of the old RV. Gwen stumbled out of it groggily, looking annoyed. "Ben! If you don't keep it down, some of us are trying to-" Her tirade was stopped when she noticed Four Arms lying underneath the giant gold sumo wrestler. "W-What the!?" Gwen stuttered.

Yukiko followed next, standing behind Gwen. "Gwen, what's wrong?" Her dark orbs grew wide at the sight of her transformed cousin fighting a golden sumo. "Ben!" Yukiko pulled Gwen back and stepped out of the RV. Max soon joined his family standing in the doorway.

"Yukiko, wait!" Max yelled.

The heiress didn't bother listening and pulled her fan out of the sleeve of her yukata. "Agilao!" The medium fireball slammed into the golden sumo. However, it did little to affect the wrestler, not even leaving burn marks on its golden body. "W-What?" Yukiko gasped, shocked.

The golden wrestler then jumped over to her with his palm pulled back. He was about to strike the heiress, but two pairs of red muscular arms held him back. "Your fight is with me, sumo boy!" Four Arms yelled. He then wrapped all four arms around the fat wrestler and suplexed him into the ground. The tetramand gripped the legs of the sumo and spun him around in circles. "Hraaah!"

Four Arms tossed the wrestler flying away from his family. The fat wrestler rolled across the grass before regaining his footing, and returning to his earlier stance.

Max turned to his grandson. "Ben, what's going on?" He asked.

The tetramand turned to his family. "I don't know! One minute I was drinking some milk and the next thing I know a giant gold sumo is standing outside our window," Four Arms explained.

"Wait, drinking milk? You weren't drinking out of the carton again, were you?" Yukiko glared at him.

"N-No…I wasn't!" Four Arms lied.

"Benjamin-" Yukiko's scolding was cut-off by Gwen's scream.

"He's coming back!" Gwen yelled, pointing at the rushing wrestler. Four Arms turned around and slammed his two upper fists into the sumo's face, knocking his head back. This only stopped the sumo momentarily, because it grabbed both of Four Arms' upper arms and pulled the tetramand close. Their heads were smashed together with a headbutt, disorienting Four Arms.

Golden Sumo twisted his body once more to do another shoulder-toss, however a ball of fire smacked against his face. It looked at Yukiko who was glaring at him with her fan pointed at him.

Before the sumo could do anything to her, the tetramand broke out of his grip, and grabbed his cloth. Four Arms lifted the sumo by his cloth and began spinning him around. "Here we go!" He sent the sumo flying into a nearby fountain. The sumo's big golden body smashed the fountain to pieces, but before he could try to recompose itself, Four Arms rushed in with multiple powerful punches to his face. The wrestler fell to the ground defeated as the sounds of the Omnitrix timing out was heard.

In a bright red flash of light Ben was turned back to normal. "Sumo Wrestler vs Ben Tennyson! And Ben Tennyson comes out the champion!" Ben celebrated his victory. His family joined him not soon after.

"Yeah yeah, good job," Gwen didn't want to deal with his big head. Max walked past his grandkids and up to the downed sumo wrestler.

"I think it's time we interrogated our rouge sumo here," He said, reaching for the wrestler.

POOF!

However, before Max could do anything the wrestler exploded into a cloud of smoke. "W-What the?" He gasped.

"Grandpa!" The kids rushed over to their grandfather. When the smoke cleared their grandpa was unharmed, but the sumo had disappeared.

"Huh? Where did he go?" Yukiko asked.

"Yeah, there's no way a 500-pound sumo wrestler just disappeared like that," Gwen said, looking around the area. Ben walked over to the space that the sumo wrestler was at, he looked down at the ground and gasped.

"No way!" He reached down to the ground.

"What is it, Ben?" Max asked.

When Ben turned around to show them what he had found it only increased everyone's confusion. "Your gold Sumo Slammers card!?" Yukiko shouted.

"But, how do we know it's yours?" Gwen asked.

Ben flipped the card around. "This is the exact sleeve that I had put it into earlier today. I even put the initials 'B.T' just so people would know it was mine," Ben explained.

"Do you think that the gold sumo we just fought was your card?" Yukiko theorized.

"It's the only thing that makes sense with his card being found in the wrestler's place. The only question left is how was this all possible?" Max said.

Ben stared down at the card for a moment, before a moment from earlier in the day popped back up in his head. "I think I have an idea!"

The next morning the Rustbucket re-entered the town. The RV drove back towards the card shop that Ben had met the guy at yesterday.

"Did you find anything, Gwen?" Max asked.

The oranged haired girl was typing away on her laptop. "I've been searching multiple forums centered around Sumo Slammers, and each one mentioned their own gold Sumo Slammer cards would glow brightly before going missing. However, nothing here mentions about the cards turning into massive sumos trying to kill them," Gwen explained.

Yukiko leaned over to look at Gwen's screen. "Did you try to find the guy who gave Ben that card?" She asked.

"With the little description you guys gave me? Nope," Gwen answered.

"Our best bet will be to ask the store employees about the guy. If what's been happening is being reported into the stores and company, then it could be related to that man," Max said.

"Yeah, though, how come we were the only ones who had to deal with an out of control golden Ishiyama?" Ben questioned as he held the card in his hand.

"That guy must've given it to you for a reason. It would make no sense for him to just randomly give you that pack unless there was another motive," Gwen said.

Yukiko tapped her chin. "Well, he didn't really like Ben at all, especially after running into Ben without warning."

"That sounds like anyone who meets Ben for the first time," Gwen injected.

"Hey!" Ben yelled, offended.

"Alright, we're here!" Max informed them as he pulled up to the store. The family exited the Rustbucket and entered the store. The four found the store clerk standing behind the counter, opening up his own packs.

"Hello?" Max called out to him.

The clerk looked over to them. "Oh-uh, welcome? How can I help you?"

"We'd like to ask you if you know anything about a large guy with orange hair who was here yesterday. He walked out with only three packs of Sumo Slammer cards yesterday," Yukiko explained to him.

The clerk perked up. "Ohhh! You mean Alex!"

"Alex?" The Tennysons repeated.

"You guys don't know Alex? He's like a super famous collector for trading cards. The guy somehow knows exactly which packs include the rarest of cards and buys them," The clerk explained.

Ben reached into his pocket and pulled out the gold card that he was given. "But, he went and gave me a pack that had this."

"He tends to do that, weirdly enough any card that he has given people all end up going missing afterwards. There have also been reports of people losing cards just after buying them too," The clerk told them. He then picked up the pack he was holding earlier. "Heck, he even gifted the store this pack yesterday. I was just about to open it," He said as he popped the pack open.

Suddenly, Yukiko's head started buzzing as the pack illuminated a bright golden light. She extended her hand forward to stop him. "Wait! Don't-"

POOF!

Max pulled his grandkids back in time before the card exploded in a large cloud of smoke. When it cleared there was another gold sumo standing on top of the destroyed counter. The clerk was staring up at the sumo in pure shock before passing out. The gold sumo stared down at him before walking towards the exit of the shop, he pulled back a palm, and slapped it against the wall. The brick wall promptly shattered to pieces, allowing him to walk out. He jumped through the air, bouncing across the building tops.

The Tennyson family got over their shock and scrambled to their feet to get to the Rustbucket. "Ben! You gotta stop that rogue sumo before he causes too much damage!" Max yelled.

"On it! Time for a four armed rematch!" Ben slapped down the dial of the Omnitrix. When the light died down it turned out that Ben hadn't transformed into Four Arms.

"Stinkfly!? I didn't want the big green bug!" His four eyes turned to glare at the watch symbol in the middle of his face.

"Deal with it, bug-boy! Hurry after him!" Gwen yelled as she stepped into the RV.

Yukiko climbed onto the Lepidopterra's back. "Let's go, Ben!"

"Yeah yeah, I'm on it!" Stinkfly's wings flapped and he took off in the direction that the sumo had gone. The Rustbucket was behind them, following the best it could.

"Do you see him yet, Ben?" Yukiko asked.

"Yeah! It's kinda hard to miss a fat gold guy jumping across the city!" Stinkfly smartly replied. He shot some slime from his eyes at the sumo, hoping to impede its movements.

The green gunk stuck onto his feet, stopping him momentarily. The sumo looked down at his feet to see what was stopping him. The gold giant reached down and tore the slime off of his feet, then turned around to toss it right back at the flying duo.

"Incoming!" Stinkfly ducked his head in time to dodge the slime. Yukiko however was unable to react in time.

"MMMFFFHHH!" Her screams were muffled by the slime. After a few failed pulls, she managed to tear it off of her face. "EW! EW! EW! EW!" She coughed, wiping the gunk on the side of Stinkfly's legs.

"Hehehe-OW!" Stinkfly's laugh was halted by Yukiko slapping him on the head with her fan. "What!?"

"I never want to breathe that stuff ever again!" She yelled at him.

"Then dodge faster next time!" He yelled back. Suddenly, Yukiko's phone started to ring, alerting Yukiko to answer it.

"Hello?" She spoke into the phone.

"Can you two stop bickering and focus on the fat guy in a cloth that's running into that warehouse!" Gwen's loud voice came through the other end. The heiress and bug looked down to see the sumo crash through the ceiling of a warehouse and flew down next to it. The Omnitrix timed out just as they touched down to the ground. The Rustbucket pulled up not too long afterwards.

"So? Do we go in guns blazing?" Ben asked.

"Not yet, let's sneak inside first to get a handle on whatever is happening," Max instructed. Nodding their heads, the Tennyson family snuck inside of the warehouse and hid behind some crates. Peeking over them to see what was happening, the family saw Alex standing in the center surrounded by multiple boxes.

"And that's number 49," Alex smirked as the golden sumo walked towards him. "Though, I do wish you didn't crash through the roof. I'm trying to not attract attention to myself," He scolded the sumo. The golden man didn't make any movement to signify that he had heard him.

"Whatever," He turned the sumo back into a card and sleeved it. "Ah, perfect condition," He placed it into one of the boxes next to him. "Now I just have to wait for number 50 and I'll have the entire set!"

THUD!

"What the?" He turned around to the direction of the noise. Alex saw the Tennysons standing behind a couple of boxes, looking like deers caught in headlights. The smaller female turned to the boy instantly.

"You doofus! You gave us away!" Gwen yelled.

"Not my fault the box wasn't heavy enough to handle a little push!" Ben defended himself.

"Why were you pushing the box?" Yukiko asked. Ben hesitated to answer, because he was too short to see over the boxes unlike the others.

Max was quick to get their attention. "Kids now may not be the best time for this," Max said. The three looked over to see Alex staring at them with surprise.

"Who the hell are you guys?" He asked.

Ben walked forward and took the golden card out of his pocket. "Remember me, jerk? The kid you gave this to?"

Alex thought for a moment before snapping his fingers. "Ah, I remember you now! The little brat who kept getting in my way. Yeah, I had hoped that card had just done you in, but sadly enough seems that you managed to live," Alex sighed.

"What do you mean?" Max asked, glaring at him.

"Since, I'm gonna have to deal with you four anyway I might as well explain. I'm a collector, ya see?" Alex picked up a golden card. "I enjoy being the only one to have the rarest of cards in a game. But, it's difficult to get them all, because of the rarity of getting them. So, why not make it easy to get them by taking them by force?" Alex grinned maliciously.

"So, you steal from others all to fuel your petty greed?" Yukiko glared at him. The fat man just laughed in response.

"What's yours is mine and what's mine is also mine. Nothing is more satisfactory than taking from a bunch of babies," He grinned.

"Then, explain how you're able to turn those cards into actual sumos!" Gwen yelled.

"To be honest, I'm not really sure," He shrugged.

"What!?"

"Yeah, it's been something that I've always been able to do since I was a kid. Though, not to this extent," He answered with another shrug. The card collecting jerk tossed the card back into the box. "But, I think that's enough talking. I can't have you guys go talking about everything that's happened here," Alex pointed a finger at the box and it began to glow brightly. A pink light illuminated all of the boxes simultaneously and they exploded with a poof of smoke.

When the smoke cleared all that was left standing behind Alex was a gigantic golden Ishiyama, already in a sumo stance. "I'll just leave him here to clean up any evidence," Alex said before running out of the warehouse.

Max turned to his grandson. "Ben, you and Yukiko deal with our jumbo-sized sumo. Gwen and I will catch up to Alex!"

"Gotcha! It's Hero Time!" Ben slammed down the dial of the watch. When the light died down he was revealed to be transformed into Heatblast. "What!? Heatblast!? I wanted Four Arms!"

"No time to complain! Dodge!" Yukiko yelled as the sumo attempted to step on them all. The Tennysons jumped out of the way before the foot could make contact. Yukiko turned to her Grandpa. "Go!"

"Right!" Max took a hold of Gwen's hand and the two left the warehouse. Seeing that they were gone, Yukiko summoned her Persona.

"Amaterasu! Agidyne!" The mega-sized fireball impacted the sumo's face, knocking it back a bit. Heatblast propelled himself into the air and sent a wave of fire into the sumo's face.

The gigantic wrestler used his massive hand to bat the flames away and grabbed Heatblast. He then smashed his hand into the ground, creating a Heatblast sized dent inside of the giant handprint. It tried to smack the pyronite again, but Amaterasu's sword sliced against the gold plating. Yukiko sprinted forward and pointed her fan at the massive sumo.

"Agidyne!" Another mega blast of fire was thrown at it. The sumo blocked the flames with his hands.

Heatblast propelled himself out of the hole and groaned. "Ugh, we need some heavy hits to take this big-lug down," He said to Yukiko.

"Maybe, not," She replied.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Look at his arm," She pointed up at him. Heatblast looked up to where she was pointing, and noticed it.

"His arm is melting!" Heatblast exclaimed.

"Exactly! All we need to do is produce enough heat to melt him down!" Yukiko smiled.

Heatblast's body began to burn brightly with flames. "Then let's burn this sucker up!" He pulled back his arms and shot a magnitude of flames at the sumo.

Yukiko charged up her energy and pointed her fan directly at the sumo. "AGIDYNE!" The gigantic burst of flames joined Heatblast's attack in unison. The intense pressure from the flames started to melt the gigantic sumo, he stumbled back from the pressure, and fell on his back. Heatblast didn't let up and flew above the downed body of the sumo.

"And here's the finisher! A super-mega-turbo HEATWAVE!" The tidal wave of fire erupted from Heatblast's hands and swallowed the sumo whole. Yukiko watched in awe as the brilliant orange flames danced around the melting sumo wrestler. However, her awe only lasted for a moment when the heiress realized that the warehouse was melting alongside the sumo.

"Ah…crap baskets…"

Gwen's foot landed squarely into Alex's back, knocking the larger man down. The orange haired girl smirked proudly as she posed on top of him. "And the hero today is Gwen Tennyson!" She announced like Ben.

"G-Get off me!" Alex struggled to get back up. Max then placed his own foot onto his back, preventing him from moving.

"No way, you're gonna fess up to the police and return all of the stolen cards," Max ordered him.

Alex smirked, cockily. "And what makes you think I'll do that? My giant sumo should be here any minute to crush you two!"

"I wouldn't be too sure about that."

The three turned around to see Yukiko and Ben strolling up to them, Yukiko was pulling a cart filled with Gold Sumo Slammers cards behind them. "That giant Ishiyama got a really bad sunburn, ya know? I think he went to take a vacation in the arctic," Ben smirked.

"But the arctic is too far away for even someone as big as that to get there," Yukiko pointed out. Once again, the Tennysons all sighed in exasperation at her reply.

The family sat inside of the Rustbucket as the police pulled away with Alex. The man was found guilty since all of the reported stolen items were tracked back to his home, and he was being forced to personally return them all. He was also blamed for the warehouse being burnt down, which the Tennysons didn't try to argue with at all.

Ben leaned back in his seat, his feet kicked up on the table, and the gold card in his hands. "Welp, all's well that ends well," He put the card inside of his box of souvenirs.

"Are you sure you should be keeping that? What if Alex tries to control it again?" Gwen asked.

"Eh, I'm sure he'll think twice before trying that again. Nobody messes with Ben Tennyson's favorite game and gets away with it," Ben replied.

Yukiko walked by with a basket of laundry in her hands. "And I'm sure Ben Tennyson wouldn't mind folding his clothes now that he has nothing to do again," Yukiko placed the basket in front of him.

Ben blanched at the pile of clothes in front of him. "Aw, man!"
