Chapter 1: Entering the Pizza Plex
"When I first found you...you were nothing...you were small...pathetic...but now, you are more...are you ready?"
"...Yes..."
Soon the streets we see a familiar van drive down the road, it was green and blue with orange flowers and on the side it was called the Mystery Machine.
Driving the van were four famous teenagers and they're talking mystery solving dog: Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, Shaggy Rodgers and the famous Scooby-Doo!
"Alright, we should be close." Velma said looking at her laptop.
"Say Velma, you sure this mall is the real thing?" Daphne asked.
"Sure is Daphne, I found out there have been a lot of disappearances have been happening at Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex...mostly it's children." Velma said then looked at it. "How Freddy Fazbear's managed to last this long despite it's...'past' is a miracle."
"Past?" Shaggy asked getting concerned. "What kind of past are we talking here?"
"In the past there have been child murders, animatronic characters malfuctioning and most of their pizza places have been shut down due to it."
"Zoinks!" Shaggy said.
"Reah!" Scooby nodded and soon hid under the seats.
"Relax you two, we're gonna be perfectly fine." Fred said. "The Pizzaplex wanted us to help out with finding out what's been happening."
"Yeah, my uncle works as an employee at the Pizzaplex and he figured what better person to solve what's been happening lately." Daphne smiled.
"Well you can do that, but like me and Scoob don't feel like getting killed by any robots!" Shaggy protested.
"Ruh-huh." Scooby nodded agreeing with Shaggy.
"You sure...there's a food court." Daphne said with a smirk knowing food will always encourage them and they soon heard that.
"Then again, we might get free food for doing this mystery." Shaggy said. "Eh, Scoob?"
"Reah, Rree Food." Scooby said adding a laugh.
"Glad you two changed your minds." Fred said and soon they saw the mall. "And look here we are now."
The van soon parked in an empty parking space, the gang soon exited out and soon began to enter the Pizza Plex.
"Alright gang, here we are!" Fred said.
"Wow." Daphne said amazed.
"It does have character." Velma commented.
"Yeah, and I hope the food is good here!" Shaggy said.
"Reah!" Scooby said.
The gang soon walked across the mall and soon saw on the screen that the four animatronics: Freddy Fazbear, Montgomeray Gator, Roxanne Wolf and Glamrock Chica are about to perform."
"Ladies and Gentleman, behold our one and only...Freddy Fazbear!" The intercom said.
"Hey gang, how about we watch the show?" Freddy asked. "Could be fun."
The gang all agreed to it and soon headed towards the main stage where the four animatronic stars soon appeared on the stage and started to rock out and dance while playing the instruments.
"Wow, for animatronic robots they sure can move alot." Daphne said.
"That's because these animatronics are state of the art, fitted with the most newest animatronic technology, they can even act human and socialize with the customers," Velma said.
"Wow, that's something." Fred said.
But then...something began to go wrong, Freddy started to malfunction and break down and fall on stage and soon the curtains began to close.
"Something tells me that wasn't part of the show." Shaggy said.
"That was beyond strange." Velma said. "How come Freddy just malfunctioned while on stage? Something's not right here."
"Your right." Daphne said and soon she saw her uncle who was getting news of what happened on stage. "Uncle Jacob!"
He soon turned and smiled at the sight of his neice and hugged her.
"Daphne, you made it." Jacob smiled and soon looked at her. "I don't know how it happened, all the characters were functioning greatly when the technicians last told me, no malfunctions or bugs whatsoever."
"That is quite strange." Velma said. "But not unheard of for the Fazbear company."
Daphne soon looked at her and cleared her throat wanting to change the subject.
"Uncle Jacob, meet my friends. This is Fred, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby Doo."
"Ah, Daphne's told me alot about you and the adventures you've been on." Jacob said. "So I thought the mystery of the Pizzaplex disappearances would be your next big one."
"No problem." Fred said.
"One question...the animatronics here wouldn't be hungry for us, would they?" Shaggy asked a bit nervous.
"Reah." Scooby said.
"Ah yes." Jacob said. "You're referring to our...past accidents. Well don't worry, these animatronics have been programmed to not harm any of our guests after all those accidents so you don't have to worry about them hurting you. The company's tried a lot of things to cover up those incidents."
"Such as creating the virtual reality video game." Velma said.
"Yes, but I..." Jacob said before seeing one of the Security guards who was a woman with blonde hair. "Ah, Vanessa. Come here for a second, would you?"
Vanessa saw him and nodded coming to him. "Yes, what is it sir?" She asked.
"Vanessa, meet my niece Daphne Blake and here friends, Mystery Incorporated."
"Wait. Your niece is one of the members of Mystery Inc?" Vanessa asked. "I've heard a lot about you, mostly about the criminals being mostly masked monsters."
"You've heard right," Fred said.
"Well, it's almost time for closing." Jacob said looking at his watch. "And I think everyone would be wanting to leave after what happened."
Vanessa nodded and left to get ready for her night shift, Jacob soon looked at the rest.
"So, when do we start?" Fred asked.
"You'll start tonight." Jacob said.
"Tonight?" The gang asked.
"Yes, I believe that if you kids stay in the mall overnight, you might have a chance to catch the criminal and stop them from kidnapping more children." Jacob said. "Is that a problem."
"Uh yes." Shaggy said. "Bad things happen at night, especially things that involve child kidnappers or killer robots. So me and Scoob are gonna sit this one out! For once, the free food is not worth it."
"Ruh-huh!" Scooby nodded agreeing with Shaggy as they headed for the exit.
Fred, Daphne and Velma sighed as there were about to do they're whole "Scooby Snake" routine until Jacob had a proposal.
"Alright." Jacob said. "How about this, if you managed to find who's responsible for the disappearances I'll reward you two with unlimited free pizza."
Soon the two soon stopped hearing those words and soon turned back around and they're tounges hanging it with drool and soon came and hugged Eric.
"C'mon Scoob, let's solve this mystery for the pizza...I mean, for the kids!" Shaggy said.
"Reah." Scooby said and did his usual snicker.
"Well gang, it looks like we have another mystery on our hands." Fred said. "We'll start now.
The gang soon nodded and soon started they're next mystery.
Meanwhile in the main camera room...we see a female in a white rabbit suit with red eyes look at Mystery Inc. and soon deliever a slight chuckle that kinda sounded robotic.
"Well, this mystery just might be your last." The white bunny said as she gave a sinister chuckle as now Mystery Inc. are now her new targets...
