The Girl In The Classroom

Author's Note: Welcome to 2022 everyone! I decided to write this because the upcoming OVA of Trinkle Stars will be released in a couple weeks! So, here is my first story of 2022 because I'm a Otoboku fan~

"Ohhh, you're never gonna believe this!"

"Oh what is it~?"

"This girl in the classroom. She's…she's extremely beautiful! So elegant and just….GORGEOUS!"

"Really!? Have we met her?"

"I have no idea! But some say every sunset, if you approach her inside the empty classroom, you will be blessed with her love forever and ever~!"

"This sounds pretty amazing! I hope I am lucky enough to meet that person!"

Mizuho sets down his bag as he and his girlfriend, Shion take a seat at their desks.

"I wonder who this girl is too…" He mutters.

"Fufufufu~" Shion lets out a soft giggle. "Ara, ara. Things have gotten pretty intense so early in the morning~"

"Did you know about this mysterious girl?" Mizuho asks.

"No, I can't say that I do," Shion cups her own cheek. "I bet if you ask our classmates, they might explain it to you~"

Mizuho looks around and sees the stoic girl, Kei, have a twinkle in her eye. She looks like she knows but…he is afraid to ask her directly. She may say some stuff that will make no sense.

"I think I'll pass…" Mizuho sweat drops.

But he still curious about this girl. Is she a transfer student? A foreigner? Who knows? Or maybe it's….another ghost that still wants her wish to be fulfilled. Ichiko quickly comes to his mind and he shakes his head.

"Mmm…that can't be it…" he says softly. He has dealt with one of them already. He doesn't need to help another, unless he has to.

Classes come and go until lunch time. Mizuho and his friends and cousin sit at the table together. Kana and Yukari have also heard of the mysterious girl, but haven't met her either.

"Do you think we would meet her today?" Kana asks. "I wanna stay at school if that were the case!"

"Yeah!" Yukari says. "I wanna see it for myself!"

Mariya finishes chewing her food and holds up her chopsticks. "I heard that under the sunset, even if you see her in person, you won't be able to see that person's face."

"Ehhhhh!? Whyyy!?" Kana whines.

Mariya winks. "That's why she's so mysterious~"

"So….what do we do then?" Mizuho asks. "If we want that person's blessing…?"

"You just have to watch from afar~" Mariya says. "She will know when she sees you. And if you do approach that person…well…let's just say you will be in Heaven already~"

"Is it a good thing?" Kana asks.

"Oh yes~" Mariya says. "A very good thing~"

Mizuho turns and sees Shion smiling the whole time. The raven haired beauty notices Mizuho and giggles.

"I wonder how many blessings this girl has given already~" she says.

Mizuho lets out a soft sigh and continues to eat. It may be just his imagination, but it sounds like Shion knows about this mysterious girl. But how exactly? He decides to do a little investigating after school.

Later*

School ends and almost everyone leaves the school. Mizuho closes his school bag and starts to head down to the library to study a little bit. It's to kill time in order to make it until sunset. He HAS to meet this mysterious girl before anyone else. So, he sits there, doing his homework. However, as he does so, he is also thinking further about this situation. If he were to meet this mysterious girl and receive her blessings, what would do for him and his own girlfriend? Would it consider cheating on her? Getting so much love from this mysterious girl would mean being with her forever. He doesn't want that.

However, speaking of Shion, he recalls her face at lunch time. He assumed that she knows exactly about this girl, but he is still curious on how she is able to do that? Shion is nowhere to be found though because she left early to go home. If she isn't around, he is free to go see that woman. However, he knows that he must remain faithful to her. It's just a peek, that's all.

A couple hours pass and it's finally sunset. Mizuho puts his materials away and starts to head down the hallway, searching for the empty classroom. He recalls Mariya telling him the location of the classroom. At the very end of the hall. He goes there and sees the classroom door open. All the others are closed. He pokes his head and sees the girl everyone is talking about. The girl with very long dark hair that is swaying gracefully and she is looking at the beautiful sunset. The orange light shines brightly from the windows, making it a bit hard for Mizuho to see. He takes a few steps closer to get a better look.

"So it IS true…" He says. He has witnessed the mysterious girl in the classroom. But…something about her seems awfully…familiar.

He takes a few steps closer and reaches out a hand. The girl turns around, smiling. His eyes widen in surprise at the reveal.

"Sh-Shion-san!?" He says.

"Fufu! I've been found out~" Shion can only giggle.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Mizuho waves his hand as he shakes his head. "YOU were the mysterious girl all along!?"

"Seems to be~" Shion says.

"I don't get it." Mizuho says. "Why didn't you tell everyone?"

Shion gently puts a finger to his lips and winks. "Why tell everyone when it's more fun to keep it a secret? I like playing like this~"

"Eventually everyone will find out, you know?" Mizuho raises an eyebrow.

"Who knows, really~?" Shion shrugs.

Mizuho sighs. "Anyways, since I found this "mysterious girl in the classroom", isn't this pointless if it's you and I?"

Shion approaches him and wraps her arms around his neck, smiling a beautiful smile. "No. I will give you ALL my blessings. Just for you~"

Mizuho blushes at this. Her BEAUTIFUL face is close to his and is eager for a kiss. He smiles and caresses her cheek. "I'm already blessed, silly. I can be blessed as much as I want because you are here with me~"

"Oh, Mizuho-san…~" Shion swoons.

"Shion-san…~" He whispers.

They lean in and share a passionate, loving kiss. They kiss and kiss to their heart's content, having the wind from the open window blow and have their long hair sway gracefully. This alone is their blessing. And they will treasure it for as long as they live.

Meanwhile…

"There's TWO!" Yukari squeals softly. "I'm seeing two girls in the classroom!"

"Then, are we getting twice the blessings!?" Kana says.

"Oh I think I'm in Heaven already~" Yukari swoons.

"I can say the same~" Kana replies.
