Chapter 1: Returning to the falls

Dipper's perspective, He was packing up his stuff, as he placed his new journal in the book, as it's been 4 years since they were to Gravity falls. As Dipper was making his journals, as a way to continue his granduncle's research. Now, it's been at least four years, and with at least significant progress in his research and the creation of his own two journals. He's decided it was time to return to the falls, now Mabel on the other hand. Well, she was more excited than ever, since it has been four years since they saw Ford and Stan, only who knows what happened to the two. As he closed his bag as then he said "Alright, Mabel, you ready?" then Mabel jumped "Yes I'm ready, it's been four years since I saw my friends as well" she stated as she was happy terms. As he then said "Yea it's been a while since I saw ford" as then Mabel then smirked and said "And Pacifica" then he just kept quiet, as this wasn't the first time she had done this, it was only months earlier when he got a postcard from northwest herself. So it as seems like she misses him and Mabel. As he then said "are you ever going to drop that" as then Mabel replied "NOPE" he said "Thought so" then he said "Alright, hurry up, our bus arrives in.. 30 minutes" he stated to her as then she stated "I am already packed" as then he looked as he said "Alright then" he stated, as he grabbed his bag and his third journal that he was still working on. Of course, he wasn't gonna stay in the U.S. Forever, he was gonna venture around and do more research, who knows maybe he'll make more journals tthanFord did. As he went downstairs as he sets his bag down, as put his hat on, during the four years, Dipper kinda gave himself a new attire during his investigations. He went from his old attire to something not him, but a vest and shorts ain't gonna protect much from his investigations, so he went with a leather jacket and black tactical pants. A black shirt, and to top it all off, a country hat. Of course, he changed himself as well, he went from the one kid that honestly had no muscle to this guy who was a bit muscular now as well, which explains how much time he spent working out because he's gonna need the strength for some of the objects he may encounter in his journey. As he walked outside with Mabel, as the two would wait at the bus stop, waiting for the bus to gravity falls to arrive, he was humming a song as then he said "I'm gonna be glad to get out of California again" he stated as then his sister then stated, "Yea, California has gotten a bit boring." Despite their efforts to make the time fun, they missed Gravity falls, and actually, Dipper was gonna talk to ford about that internship. And Mabel might find herself a job there.

Gives the two an excuse to stay in gravity falls for a bit longer as well, of course, the two had their plans once they arrived back at the falls as well. Dipper was most likely spend his time with Ford once again, and then Mabel will spend her time with her two friends as well. But in all honesty, maybe he won't be spending all of his time with Ford, maybe a once stubborn blonde will bunch up most of his time, who knows. It's too early to tell. As the bus finally arrived the twins got on the bus, and looked at their home one last time before they went and took their seats, meanwhile Mabel had her bag with her, cause she was bringing waddles along, yes waddles are still around people. As she was holding her bag as Dipper was leaning against the window just looking out, as their drive finally began for the town of Gravity Falls. Time to sit back and relax for this 6-hour-long drive. Meanwhile, in the small town, of Gravity Falls Oregon, Ford and Stanley, and a few other people, were planning a surprise for the twin's return, Candy, Greta, Pacifica, Soos, Wendy, And a few other people. It has been honestly, four years since they all see each other, meanwhile, Pacifica, was just sitting outside as she kinda had her notebook that she writes her logs in. As Wendy came outside, she just sits down with Pacifica, and she just hands her a soda "So you don't get overheated dude" she just looks at her as she just took the Soda "Yeah... Thanks" she stated as she sits her journal down nearby as then Wendy said "So, you happy that the two are returning?" as then she said "Yea I mean, they are technically friends I can consider you know" she stated as then Wendy stated "Then there's that thing you got for Dipper" as then Pacifica rolled her eyes "Whatever, you say" she stated as she wasn't going to admit it. At least right now that is, as then Wendy then said "Side's if anyone has been sending them the most stuff, it been you" Pacifica just chuckled a bit "I mean, is it wrong to send friends gifts?" as then Wendy then replied "No not really. I was just stating" as Pacifica nodded "Well we got six hours to go until their arrival" as Wendy then said, "Yep." as then she got up "Alright imma get back to work" as then Pacifica then said, "I'll be in a second" she stated as then Wendy then said "Got it" as she walked into the shack.

In the process, Stanford was coming out as he was working on some outdoor decorations he then said "Oh, didn't see you be out here" then Pacifica replied, "Just taking a breather, and thinking over stuff" then he said, "Ah, alright, well don't mind me then" as he puts a ladder down as he climbs up as he worked on the decorations as then she then said, "So uh, what does Dipper do for a hobby" as then Ford replied "He likes to adventures, investigate the weird things happening all around, hes like me when I was younger, just more careful then me honestly, but why do you ask?" as then she just said "Just curious and all that" as then Ford then said, "Well, you know what they always say, Curiosity killed the cat" he chuckled a bit as then he followed up by stating "Anyways, mind giving me a hand" as then She stated "Sure" as she got up as she walked off and helped ford out.

Around six hours later, Dipper was asleep, against the window before he woke up due to a bump in the road, as he looked out, as they were surrounded by tall trees, as the driver then said "Last stop, Gravity Falls" Stanley and Soos were waiting at the bus stop for the twins, as the bus slowly started to slow down. As the bus finally stopped, he pushed Mabel a bit "Wake up, we're here" Mabel grabbed her bag as she walked to the door, a bit tired. As she got off the bus, Dipper followed behind with his bag, his journal in hand. Stan saw Dipper and he was like "Hot Belgian Waffles, you did change a lot kid" as then Dipper then said "People change overtime" he stated as then Stan then said "Yeah, you went from a small kid to.. you now, brings a tear to my eye" as then Dipper then said "Don't get too weird" as then Stan laughed a bit, as when he said "Come on kids, the shack awaits" as the four got into the car, as they drove back to the shack. On the way, Dipper was looking out the window, as he saw some of the gnomes running by into the forest as then he said "Jeez, nothing did change after weirdmageddon" then Stanley said "Well there's been some new changes, My brother ran for Mayor of Gravity Falls last year and won, He took over the northwest manor from McGuckett, so now he resides there, plus he's moving his lab to there as well, McGuckett, has changed a bit, he's been helping ford out a bit. But these I guess are minor changes to the weirdness that occurs, I got the shack to run again, and Soos is still the Janitor dude. Everything worked out I guess" as then Dipper then said "I see that you guys kept the same flag since weirdmegaddon" then Stan said "Yea it's a symbol of the bravery of those who fought against the tyranny." as the car then stopped at the shack as then Stan then said "Well, we're here" the four got out as they were walking up to the door as Stan got his key, as he acted like the door was locked even though it wasn't locked. As stan opened the door, the four walked in, and well. They walked right into the surprise party, as people just jumped out of nowhere as Mabel was excited, Dipper on the other hand almost had a heart attack from the sudden surprise, Mabel went and hugged her friends, As Ford came over and said "Welcome back kids" he stated to both Dipper and Mabel. As Dipper then said "Yeah it's great to be back.." as then Ford then see "I see you been working on your journals" as then Dipper hands him, his third Journal that he made and Ford read through it as he was like "This is phenomenal, never knew that the entire northwest was lined with mysterious things, always thought it was only us" as then Dipper then said "Well, I plan on venturing out to other countries to see if there is anything else" as then Ford then said "Well to do that, I advise finding someone who would be willing to go on adventures with you." as then Dipper then said "I'll keep a look out" as then Ford then said "Once you get to settle down, come by my lab in the morning, you know where I live" as Dipper replied "Yeah I will" he stated as Ford then walked off since had a lot to do, plus he has a new assistant, that I'm sure that Dipper would be shocked to see.

As Dipper went into the Kitchen, as Wendy and Pacifica were talking about something, as he just looked at the two, as he just went and got him something from the fridge, as The two saw him, as they didn't know what to say, as then Pacifica then just said "You look different now" as then he looked at the two "Oh, hey" as he gotten himself a soda as then he said "Its been awhile" as Wendy then said "Yeah, dude. Four years Its been quite some time" as Pacifica just hugged him out of no where as Dipper chuckled "Missed you too Paz" he stated as hugged her back as then Pacifica then said "Never knew that you wear cologne" as then Dipper then said "Yea, you still wear that lavender perfume though" as Wendy was just chuckling a bit as then Pacifica then said "Whats so funny" as then Wendy then said "Oh nothing" as then Pacifica then said "Don't make me angry.." as then Wendy then said "Fine fine, its just that you two look adorable together" as Pacifica then just went quiet, as well blushed heavily. "I'm going home" she stated as she didn't want to admit that either. As Pacifica left Wendy then said "Sorry dude, didn't mean to hurt her feelings" as then Dipper then said "You didn't hurt her feelings. She wouldn't have gone quiet if you did, If I know one thing about her, if you make her mad, she gonna let everyone know in the first 10 kilometers that she fucking mad" as Wendy laughed a bit as then she said "Anyways, I gotta get back home, helping my father out with lumber work ya know, we are starting to renovate the house again" as then Dipper nodded "Yea I got to get set up, tomorrow I'm heading over to Ford's lab, don't know why, but oh well, Tomorrow I'll talk to him about the internship" as wendy then said "Yep, see you dude" as she walked out. Dipper then went up to the attic, as he opens the door, the room was still the same, as it seemed like someone cleaned it before they got there. Dipper mainly suspected Soos, since he was that type of dude that would honestly do such a thing. As he unpacked his stuff a bit and set his three journals down on the table he then said "A new start here, in gravity falls." He chuckled a bit as he went and laid down on his bed. As he then drifted off to sleep, meanwhile Mabel is still having fun downstairs with her friends, and well we can figure they partied all night long. Poor Dipper and Stanley honestly, the two trying to sleep during their party. Thankfully they managed to get some sleep, so that counts for something.
