Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 7 of Fake It. Thank you to those who have left reviews for this story. It really does mean a lot to me. I'm trying my best with trying to figure out who Morgan should be with by the end of this story. My brain is going to a few different places, but I'm sure that I'll figure it out soon enough. Enough of my ramblings. Without further ado Chapter 7. ENJOY!

Chapter 7

The Jolly Mon, with four inches of water in the bottom, squated low in the water, heeled to one side, creaking on its lines.

"Ah, now there's a lovely sight!" Jack said, hopping down into the boat preparing to make way. "I knew the Harbormaster wouldn't report her. Honest men are slaves to their conscience, and there's no predicting 'em. But you can always trust a dishonest man to stay that way…"

Morgan let out a breath shaking her head lightly.

Jack turned his head noticing that Will was standing, frozen on the dock, staring at the boat in dismay. "Come aboard."

Morgan moved past Will and got onto the boat as well.

"I haven't set foot off dry land since I was twelve, when the ship I was on exploded." He looked at the boat. "It's been a sound policy."

"No worries there. She's far more likely to rot out from under us." Morgan said, letting out a scoff rolling her eyes.

Will steeled himself before stepping into the boat carefully as if it was going to capsize with the slightest of movement.

Jack hoisted the sail up. "Besides, we are about to better our prospects considerably." He nodded towards the H.M.S. Dauntless, looming in the harbor.

Will looked at Jack in shock. "We're going to steal a ship? That ship?"

"Commandeer. We're going to commandeer a ship. Nautical term."

"It's still against the law."

Morgan let out a laugh. "So is breaking a man out of jail." Morgan pointed out as she looked at Will.

"Face it, Will: you may say you'll never be a pirate, but you're off to a rip-roaring start." He smiled. "My advice - smile and enjoy it."

The Jolly Mon bobbed its way across the bay, dwarfed against the H.M.S Dauntless.

Will held onto a stay line with iron fists. "This is either crazy, or brilliant."

"Remarkable how often those two traits coincide."

The Jolly Mon neared the rudder of the much larger ship.

Morgan took a breath as she looked up at the ship.

PIRATES

There was a breakdown of discipline, about a dozen Navy Sailors were gathered together on the main deck, playing dice. Murtogg and Mullroy were among them.

Suddenly Jack, Will, and Morgan jumped out into the open brandishing pistols.

"Everybody stay calm. We're taking over the ship!" Jack said with a cheeky grin on his face.

"Aye! Avast!"

Morgan let out a breath before shaking her head.

Jack gave him a look and shook his hand saying don't do that.

The sailors all looked at them and then burst out laughing. They grinned, shaking their heads.

Jack stood there grinning with them, but his gun was still level.

Gillette moved forward. "You're serious about this."

Morgan's gun moved and pointed it at Gillette, her eyes slightly narrowed as he noticed who she was.

"Dead serious." Jack replied.

"You understand this ship cannot be crewed by only two men and a woman. You'll never make it out of the bay."

"We'll see about that."

There were more laughing from the crew. A couple of sailors stepped forward with their hands on their swords.

Gillette held up his hand. "Sir, I'll not see any of my men killed or wounded in this foolish enterprise."

"Fine by me. We brought you a nice little boat, so you can all get back to shore, safe and sound."

Gillette nodded his head curtly. "Agreed. You have the momentary advantage, sir. But I will see you smile from the yardarm, sir."

"As likely as not. Will, short up the anchor, we've got ourselves a ship!"

"Get a move on gentlemen." Morgan said with a cheeky smile coming to her lips.

PIRATES

The sailors made their way down a rope ladder, crowding onto the Jolly Mon.

Will pushed hard against the windlass, to no avail, the anchor was just too heavy for one man.

Jack turned his head, noticing that something was wrong. "A little help?"

Gillette shrugged and gestured to Murtogg and Mullroy.

The three men threw their weight into the windlass and turned it.

Jack's pistol and Morgan's as well were on them the entire time.

"I can't believe he's doing this." Murtogg said, frustrated.

"You didn't believe he was telling the truth, either." Mullroy said to Murtogg.

"Do you have any idea, boy, what you're doing?" Gillette questioned Will.

"No."

The anchor was brought up out of the water.

Morgan lowered her gun slightly, a grin coming to her pale lips. "Thank you gentlemen. Your work here is done. Onto the boat below." She said jerking her gun a little bit caused the three men to go to the rope ladder.

Jack looked at his daughter with a cheeky smile. He had to admit that it was rather nice to see his daughter finally coming into who she was meant to be.

PIRATES

Jack, Will, and Morgan cranked a capstan, raising the forward jib sail. It luffed and billowed out. The huge ship inched forward slowly, just pulled by just one of the sails.

Jack grinned happily. "Lookee there, mate! We're underway!"

Morgan let out a soft chuckle shaking her head softly.

They slowly moved out towards the open water away from the port.

Jack leaned on the wheel, rather relaxed.

Will looked back, his brows furrowing in worry. "They're coming!" He pointed as the sails of the Interceptor filled out and the ship cut through the water towards them.

"That's what we want." Morgan called out. They were going to take the ship Norrington was willingly and unknowingly was bringing them. Morgan then jumped into the water slowly making her way towards the Interceptor her father and Will weren't too far behind her.

The three of them were soaked and climbing over the side of the smaller ship unseen by anyone.

Jack tackled the Sentry from behind, covering his mouth quickly. "Can you swim?"

The man struggled in his hold.

"Can. You. Swim?" Jack questioned again, removing his hand slowly from the man's mouth.

"Of course, sir. Like a fish. I grew up summers living in Dover, with my uncle -"

"Good." Jack said, lifting the man up and threw him overboard.

Morgan quickly used her sword cutting through the ropes of the grappling hooks that the Navy had used to board the Dauntless.

Will cracked the capstan bars raising the foresail.

Morgan moved towards the side of the ship seeing Commodore Norrington moving towards the edge of the ship he was on.

"Sailors! Back to the Interceptor!" Norrington's shout came from out of nowhere.

One brave sailor tried to swing across on the rope but fell short of the ship landing in the water with a splash.

Morgan let out a soft laugh and cupped her hands around her mouth flirtily as she shouted at the Commodore. "Thank you, Commodore, darling, for getting our ship ready to make way! We'd've had a hard time by ourselves!"

Jack looked at his daughter with wide eyes as he watched her move away from the side of the ship. "Oy no flirting."

Morgan giggled slightly as she looked at her father. "I'm not doing anything wrong." She mused with a cheeky smile on her lips.

"I'm not having a military man joining our family."

Morgan busted out laughing, her body shaking as she looked at her father. "I'd never dream of marrying. Tis too much trouble."
