Chapter 23

Will wrapped a cloth around his palm.

Jack wrapped his arm around his wife and they joined WIll near the chest.

"Well, you're the worst pirate I've ever heard of." Will smiled. "You're a man who can be trusted, who can be counted on, and who can't betray his friends. What kind of pirate is that?"

"The worst. On the other hand, maybe I'm a man who can't pass up a chance for revenge against the black-hearted bastard who stole my ship and wife, and left me and my daughter to die in the middle of the ocean - twice! - and who knows how to get what he wants. Now that's a great pirate." Jack moved away from his wife and cut his palm, gripping the coin he had stolen from the chest. He then hesitated.

Will looked at him.

Jack released the coin. It landed in the chest beside the other bloody coin.

Suddenly the lid of the chest all on its own slammed shut.

"Let's get out of here."

Jack came over to his wife and wrapped his arm around her.

"I like that idea." Bonnie said, offering her husband a smile.

PIRATES

Bonnie, Jack, and Will came out to the beach.

Bonnie took a breath of fresh air as she walked with the two of them. She walked along the shore before she saw their daughter standing with a military man. Her brows furrowed slightly watching their daughter treat the man's cheek with care.

Jack let out a groan. "MORGAN!" He should've known that she would listen to what he had said.

Morgan turned her head and saw her father walking with Will and her MOTHER! "Mother…" Morgan said softly before rushing away from Norrington.

Norrington looked over to see Morgan rushing towards, Jack, Will and some woman. His lips quirked a little when he saw Morgan wrap her arms around the woman in a tight hug. He watched the soft exchange before slowly coming over to the group.

Suddenly a voice could be heard with shock and surprise in their voice. "You're all right!"

The Three men turned all at once. An awkward moment for all three of them.

Elizabeth raced across the sand, towards them and straight to Will. She threw herself into Will's arms wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Miss Swann - are you wearing trousers? And how did you get off the island?"

Elizabeth couldn't believe that was what he noticed first. Indignant, she stepped away from him. "Yes, I am wearing trousers. And as for how we got off the island - ah, that's a grand adventure, but now is not the time to talk about it." She reached a hand behind his neck and decisively kissed him. "There. And don't you dare tell me that wasn't a proper kiss!"

"Elizabeth, I think it doesn't matter that we are of a different class -"

"It doesn't!"

"But that was not a proper kiss. This is a proper kiss." Will swept her in his arms, leaning her back and kissed her long and happily.

Jack put a hand on Norrington's shoulder. "Tough luck. I was rooting for you."

"I wouldn't worry about the Commodore, father." Morgan said with a small smile, her eyes sliding over slowly to look at Norrington before offering him a small smile.

Jack looked bewildered at his daughter. "You… him… I…"

"Jackie." Bonnie said, causing him to look at her.

Jack smiled softly and came over to her wrapping his arm around her.

Bonnie slowly leaned up and kissed him softly on the lips.

Morgan watched her parents happily as Norrington came closer to her to talk to her.

"Miss Sparrow, you…"

Morgan slowly turned her head blinking a few times as she looked at Norrington. "Yes, Commodore?"

Norrington cleared his throat softly. "You did rather well."

Morgan smiled softly looking down. "I learned from the best. I may not be as good as my parents when it comes to that, but I had to do what I did to help you… you and your men." She said her cheeks flushing slightly.

Norrington smiled softly knowing what exactly she had meant. "Thank you."

Morgan smiled a small shy smile.

Jack cleared his throat. "We should get off this blasted island."

Bonnie leaned against her husband. "I agree with that."

Morgan nodded her head. "I agree too."

XXXXXXXXXXXXX

This is the end of Chapter 23. I know it might be on the short side, and I do apologize for that. With only one chapter left. I'm kind of excited to show you guys the last chapter and the choice Morgan makes at the end of this book. Will she stay in Port Royal or would she go out to sea with her parents. Please leave a review and let me know what you think. Reviews actually keep me going in my writing. Until next time.
