Last time: "I told you I wouldn't like these people." She replied, glaring at the woman she walked over to Amy and said, "Breathe."

Amy looked at the Professor, confusion on her face, "Um, yah. I kinda have to." She said.

The woman who seemed to be in charge walked over to an empty tub like thing. Everyone gathered around it and watched as the Flesh poured into it. The Flesh started to come together and soon they saw a face appear. Suddenly the things eyes open and Jennifer sprang up, the ganger being fully formed.

"Well, I can see why you keep it in a church. Miracle of life." The Doctor said.

"No need to get poncey. It's just gunge." One of the guys said. The Professor rolled her eyes and tried not to get worked up.

"Wait, hold on, we told you who we are, so who are you?" Koschei asked.

"Call me Cleaves," The woman in charge said. "That's Jimmy," She said, pointing to the blondie, "That's Buzzer," She said, pointing. "and you already know Jennifer and Dickens." She said, pointing to the two. "Now, we need to get to work." Cleaves added.

"Okay, everybody, let's crack on." Jimmy said

"Did we mention the solar storm? You need to get out of here, now." the Professor said, a stern expression on her face.

"Where do you want us to go? We're on a tiny island." He asked.

"Well, I can get you all off it." She said, beaming.

"Don't be ridiculous. We've got a job to do." Cleaves said again, looking annoyed. The Professor narrowed her eyes at her.

The building shook, "It's coming." Koschei said as a loud sound filed the room.

"That's the alarm." Jennifer said.

"How do you get power?" The Doctor asked.

"We're solar. We use a solar router. The weathervane." Cleaves answered.

"Big problem." Koschei said, a worried expression on his face.

"Boss, maybe if the storm's back we should get underground. The factory's seen better days. The acid pipes might not withstand another hit." Jimmy said again.

"We have two hundred tons of acid to pump out. We fall behind, we stay another rotation. Anyone want that?"

The Professor pulled her by the arm, trying very hard not to break it, "Oh, please are you seriously willing to risk the lives of yourself and your team for something as stupid as this." The Professor said.

Cleaves pulled her arm away. "My factory, my rules." She said, with that stupid arrogant tone. Koschei already knew what was coming and he hurriedly walked over and gently grabbed both of her arms before she could do anything that she would regret.

The Professor was fuming and it was good Koschei got there or she would have bashed that arrogant woman's face in. She huffed and shook off Koschei's arms, "Cool down. We don't need you to end up doing something you will regret." Koschei told her.

She huffed again, "Well, I don't think I would regret it." She muttered before turning to Jennifer. "I need to check the progress of the storm. Monitoring station?"

The girl made a disapproving noise and the Doctor came over. "Monitoring station." The Doctor told her , snapping his fingers at her.

"Three lefts, a right and a left. Third door on your left." The girl finally said.

"Thank you." The three time lords said together. They ran to the monitoring station, Amy and Rory right behind them.

"Waves disturbing the Earth's magnetic field. There is going to be the mother and father of all power surges." The Doctor said, running in sync with the Professor and Koschei around the station.

"See this weathervane, the cock-a-doodle-do? It's a solar router feeding the factory with solar power. When that wave hits, ka-boom." Koschei explained to Amy and Rory.

"I've to get to that cockerel before all hell breaks loose. Amy breathe." The Professor said, pointing to Amy and then running out of the monitoring station.

"Yeah! I mean, thanks. I'll try." Amy called after her.

The Doctor followed her and grabbed her arm. She spun around, "Doctor no arguing, I have more experience and more regenerations. I'll be fine, kitten." She said, rapidly. Before he could object, she gave him a quick but loving kiss. Then she started running towards the cockerel, leaving behind a stunned Doctor.

Koschei came up behind him and slapped him on the back, "Don't try to control her, she will only do the opposite of what you say. Rassilon knows I've tried to talk her out of this kind of stuff." He said, looking very worried. They didn't dare try to go outside. The storm was too bad.

With the storm gathering force the pipes burst and acid started to leak out in the crypt. The ground below the Professors Tardis started to dissolve, and it started to sink. The Professor climbed up to the High Voltage box and started to pull relays, but a lightning strike threw her off the ladder. The weathervane got destroyed and the Professor passed out along with Amy, Rory, Koschei and the Doctor.

A few minutes later...

Everyone was on the floor. Rory was the first to stir and his eyes opened, "Oh." He paused. "For want of a better word, ow!" He said, groaning.

The Professor woke up lying on the ground with an aching back, "That's going to hurt in the morning." She muttered, sitting up. She ran towards the monastery intent on finding her friends. Then she ran into the woman in charge. "Cleaves, you're not in your harness." She pointed out.

"I'm sorry, Professor. You guys were right." She said, sadly.

"You've lost all power to the factory." the Professor deduced.

"Professor, i abandoned my team." Cleaves said, her voice filled with sadness.

The Professor took pity on her, "Then let's go get them." She said, putting a hand on her shoulder. They started walking down the corridor to the harness room. "How long would you say we were unconscious for, Cleaves?" She asked.

"Not long. A minute, two minutes?" She answered unsure.

"I'd say we were out for a bit longer." She said, continuing to walk down the hall.

"Well, how long?" Cleaves asked

"An hour. I've seen whole galaxies turned inside out in an hour. A lot can go wrong in an hour." The Professor said, worrying

Back at the Harness room...

Buzzer was being helped down from the harness. "I feel like I've been toasted." He complained.

"What the hell happened?" Jimmy asked.

"The tsunami happened. You hurt?" Amy asked.

"It feels like the national grid's run through my bones but apart from that." He said.

Then Buzzer spoke up, "I hope the meters not bust. I still want to get paid."

Rory saw Jennifer sobbing to the side of the room and went over. "Jennifer! Jennifer. Hey, all right?"

"It hurt so much." She said, hugging Rory and crying into his shirt

"Hey. Hey, it's okay. It's over." Rory said, trying to comfort her.

"I thought I was going to die." Jennifer sobbed out.

Rory pulled back and looked at her, "Welcome to my world."

Amy looked disapprovingly at them. Koschei walked over and patted her on the back, "It's alright. He's just trying to be nice." He said.

"I know. Rory would do something like this." Amy said, sighing.

Then the Professor and Cleaves ran into the harness room, and the Doctor and Koschei immediately brightened up. "Professor!" Koschei screams out and runs over. "Are you alright?"

"Fine, just a bit sore." She answered.

The Doctor walked over and hugged her, "Please don't do that again." He whispered.

She smiled, "I'm not making any promises, kitten." She said, pulling back.

"These are all real people, so where are there Gangers?" Amy asked.

"Don't worry. When the link shuts down the Gangers return to pure flesh. Now the storms left us with acid leaks all over, so we need to contact the mainland. They can have a rescue shuttle out here in no time." Cleaves explained.

Suddenly the Dusty Springfeild song fills the air. "That's my record. Who's playing my record?" Jimmy said, disbelief in his voice.

"Your Gangers. They've gone walkabout." The Doctor said.

"No it's impossible. They're not active. Cars don't fly themselves, cranes don't lift themselves and Gangers don't-" She stopped.

The three timelords quickly made their way to the dining hall, along with everyone following them. "No way." Buzzer said, looking around the messy room.

"I don't, I don't believe this." Cleaves said.

"They could've escaped through the service door at the back." Jimmy explains.

"This is just like the Isle of Sheppey." Buzzer said. They ignored him. The Doctor sat at the end of the table while Koschei and the Professor stood by his side.

"It would seem the storm has animated your Gangers." The Doctor said.

"They've ransacked everything." Cleaves said, looking around the room.

"Not ransacked, searched." The Professor said.

"Through our stuff!" Cleaves screamed at him.

"There stuff." The Doctor said, calmly.

"Searching for what?" Jimmy asked.

"Confirmation. They need to know their memories are real." Koschei, answered.

"Oh, so they've got flaming memories now." Buzzer mocked.

"They feel compelled to connect to their lives." Koschei answered again.

"Their stolen lives." Cleaves accused.

"No, bequeathed. You gave them this. You poured in your personalities, emotions, traits, memories, secrets, everything. You gave them your lives. Human lives are amazing, trust me I should know. Are you seriously surprised they ran off with them?" The Professor said, her eyes narrowing slightly.
