Hello! I just want to warn you that uploading chapters might be a bit slow. I made the horrible decision of starting a million different stories at once, so... yah all of my free time just goes to writing these stories. Don't be mad at me for not uploading in a while, it just takes a bit of time. DON'T WORRY! I will not just stop this story(or any of my other stories), I will continue to write until I get to the end of it(if it ever ends anyway). I am not mean, and I do not just drop stories. However it might be while. So if it takes me a long time then don't think I dropped it. Keep your hopes up and wait for my inevitable upload! Anyway, Enjoy :)
Last time: So really no one could have predicted that by agreeing to decommission the Flesh, they were starting a war.
"We've got to get out of here." Buzzer said. "We are, we're going to get out."
"We're not leaving without them."
Amy said. "I want them found too, but it's about casualties, innit? Can't be helped." Buzzer said, rather insensitively.
Amy walked over to the Doctor and sat down beside him, "What are you doing?"
"Making a phone call." The Doctor said.
Amy rolled her chair over. "Who to?" She asked.
"No one yet. It's on delay." He answered. The G-Doctor was off to the side with a rather grim expression.
"Right. Not getting it. Why exactly are you making a phone call?"
"Because, Amy, I am and alway will be the optimist. The hoper of far-flung dreams." He said, spinning Amy around in her chair. Then he turned back to the monitor, "The wheels are in motion. Done." He muttered.
Meanwhile with the Professors...
Koschei was standing back, letting the two Professors compose themselves. One upset Professor was bad, but two... there would be hell to pay if they got angry. At the same time, they blew out a deep breath, "We're fine." The Professor said.
"Just the name... tore at old wounds." The G-Professor added, turning around.
"You know, I've been meaning to ask... does your ganger have Bad Wolf?" Koschei asked, looking between them.
The Professor's eyes glowed gold and looked over the G-Professor, "No. It seems you can't replicate something as powerful as Bad Wolf." She said.
"Oh and Koschei... about what I said, when I was still trying to get a grip-" The G-Professor started.
"It's fine. You weren't thinking straight." Koschei said, his eyes hardening. They nodded at him. "I'm going to go inside." He said, walking to the door.
Back with the Doctor…
"You know there can be only one." Amy said.
"Hmm?" The Doctor asked, turning to her.
"Oh, nothing. Carry on. Be amazing." She said, lightly hitting him with her elbow. He made a gesture with his hands and turned back to the monitor. Amy suddenly started to walk to the far wall and was staring at something that no one else could see. She gasped and jumped back quickly.
"Amy? What happened?" The Doctor asked.
"It's her again." She said, going back to sit down next to the Doctor.
"It's who again?" The Doctor asked.
"There's a woman I keep seeing. A woman with an eye-patch and she has this habit of sliding walls open and staring at me." She said, looking at he Doctor desperately. He was staring into space(no pun intended) and he stayed silent. "Doctor?" She questioned.
"It's nothing." He said, his lips barely moving.
"Doesn't seem like nothing." She snapped back.
"It's a time memory. Like a mirage. It's nothing to worry about." He said, lightly hitting her leg and turning back to the computer.
"It's in my head." The G-Doctor muttered, before shaking his head and walking out.
"Hey, hold on." Jimmy said, about to go after him.
"No, leave it to me." Amy said, running after him. She followed him outside and chose to ignore the two Professors. "I'm sorry. What I said about you being almost the Doctor, it's just really hard, because I've been through so much with him. I've even seen. I've even seen the moment of his. Can you die? If you really are the same, then you can die. You can be killed, and I might have seen that happen." She said, her voice sounding scared and unsure.
"Why?" He said. The Professor's eyes glowed gold and then her hands clamped down around the G-Professors arms.
"Why? Because you invited us to see it. Your death." She explained.
Suddenly the G-Doctor pushed Amy against the wall and said, "Why?"
"Doctor!" The Professor screamed.
"You're hurting me." Amy said weakly.
"It's all the eyes say. Why? I can feel them as they work each day, knowing the time was coming for them to be thrown away again. Not again, please. And then they are destroyed and they feel death, and all they can say is why?" He said, his voice in pain.
The G-Professor took in a stuttering breath while the Professor clenched her eyes shut. As soon as the G-Doctor let go of Amy she ran inside. The rest of them followed quickly after.
Inside the tower the Doctor muttered, "Why?"
Amy came in, clearly panicked, followed by the two Professors and the G-Doctors. "Keep him away from me." Amy said.
The G-Doctor ignored her, "Did you sense it?" He said to the Doctor.
"Briefly. Not as strong as you." The Doctor said.
The G-Doctor turned to her, "Amy, I'm sorry." He said sincerely.
"No, you keep away. We can't trust you. Either of you." She added.
The Professor sighed and muttered, "Humans."
"It would appear that we can connect to the Flesh." The G-Doctor said, gesturing to the G-Professor.
"You are Flesh." Amy said.
"I'm beginning to understand what it's been through, what it needs." The G-Doctor explained.
"What you want. You are it." Amy said. The Professor started to glare at her. The G-Professor was too busy listening to the G-Doctor to notice what she was saying. Koschei saw her and walked over subtly.
"It's much more powerful than we thought. The Flesh can grow, correct?" He asked.
"It's cells can divide." Cleaves answered.
The G-Doctor walked slowly over to the Doctor and said, "Well, now it wants to do that at will. It wants revenge. It's in pain, angry. It wants revenge." The G-Doctor said.
"I was right. You're not the Doctor. You can't ever be. You're just a copy." Amy said, aiming all her insults at him.
Both Professors opened their mouth to say some very not nice things and Koschei clamped his hands over both of them. "No." He muttered. They sighed under his hands and nodded. He put his hands down and the conversation went on without a notice of what happened.
"Doctor, Professor, it might be best if you stayed over there for now, hmm?" Cleaves said.
"Hold on a minute, hold your horses. I thought I'd explained this. I'm him, he's me. She's her and she's her too." He said, gesturing to them all.
"Doctor we have no issue with you or her, but when it comes to your gangers." Cleaves said.
"Don't be so absurd." The Doctor said in disbelief.
"Buzzer. Jimmy." Cleaves said, sharing a look with them.
"Sure, boss." Buzzer answered. He pulled out a barrel and said, "Take a seat, mate." Jimmy did the same and gestured to it.
The G-Doctor walked over and sat on the barrel, "Nice barrel, very comfy." He looked at the G-Professor and then at the barrel.
She sighed and walked over. "I really have forgotten how nice humans can be." She muttered sarcastically.
"Is this what you really want?" The G-Doctor asked. Amy didn't answer.
