Last time: "Is this what you really want?" The G-Doctor asked. Amy didn't answer.
With the G-Professor and the G-Doctor sitting on barrels, they started trying to get back on the communicator. The pilot's voice came crackling back on, "This is the shuttle. We're right above you, but we can't get low enough. Gamma static could fry our nav-controls. Sit tight. We'll get to you. Just-" The voice cut off and the Doctor soniced Cleaves.
"Hello? Can you hear me?" Jimmy said, trying to get it back online.
"I can't find Rory. I'm going out there." Amy said.
"We could use the sonic to track him. Humans and gangers give off slightly different signals. The sonic needs to tell the difference." The Doctor said, examining the sonic.
"Oh so the sonic knows gangers are different. So the other Doctor is different." Amy said.
The Professor rolled her eyes, "He is the Doctor." The Doctor answered.
"Not to me. I can tell." Amy argued.
"Sure you're not prejudiced?" The Professor asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
Amy gave her a slight glare, "Nice try but I know okay? We've been through too much. He's my Doctor. End of." She said.
"Hey there's a camera up. We've got a visual." Buzzer said.
"That's Rory and Jennifer." Amy said, looking at the monitor.
"They're heading for the thermostatic room." Cleaves said.
"Let's go get them." Amy said, optimistically. The Doctor suddenly threw his sonic to the G-Doctor.
"Hang on." Amy said.
"We can't let him go. Are you crazy?" Cleaves asked.
The Doctor turned to the G-Doctor, "Am I crazy, Doctor?" He asked.
"Well, you did want to plumb your brain into the core of an entire planet just to halt its orbit and win a bet." The G-Doctor said, making both Professors and Koschei let out a small laugh. The Doctor smiled at first but then caught himself and went back a serious expression.
"He can't go rescue them. I'm going." Amy argued.
"Do you know, I want him to go." The Doctor said defiantly standing up. "And I'm rather
adamant." He added.
The G-Doctor stood up, "Well then, he'll need company. Right, boss?" Buzzer asked. "It's fine. I'll handle it."
"Thank you Buzzer. It'll be alright. I'll find him." The G-Doctor said, turning for the door.
The Doctor leaned in close to Amy, "Can't explain it now, but I need you to trust him. Can you do that for me, Amy?" The Doctor asked.
"And what if you're wrong?" Amy asked.
They watched as Buzzer and the G-Doctor left. Cleaves turned toward the monitor looking for any types of activity. "These temperature gauges are rising. Jennifer and Rory must have shut off the underground cooling vents." She explained.
"Why do that? They'll kill us." Dickens exclaimed.
"There's a million gallons of boiling acid under our feet." Cleaves said.
"And now it's heating up the whole island. How long till it blows?" The Doctor asked. There was a big rumble.
"Gangers or no gangers, we need to get the hell out of here." Dickens said.
Cleaves grabbed the com-link and tried to contact the pilot, "Shuttle, we need evac. Where are you? Can you hear me? Can you-" She stopped talking and clutched her head.
"Cleaves? Cleaves? Cleaves, sit down." The Doctor said, having her sit down in a chair.
"I'm fine." Cleaves said. The Doctor didn't look convinced, "I'm waiting for results, so let it go." Cleaves said.
"It's a very deep parietal clot." The Professor said.
"How can you possib-" She cut herself off. The timelords gave her a look. "Inoperable?" She asked.
"On Earth, yes." Koschei said.
"Well, seeing as Earth's all that's on offer…" She trailed off as she saw the looks the four people were giving her. "Hmm. I'm no healthy spring chicken and you're not weathermen. Right?" She asked, looking at them.
There was another big rumble, "Something just cracked. I heard it." Amy said worriedly.
"Yeah we can't stay here. Let's go." The Doctor screamed.
"He's right. Let's shift." Jimmy said.
Cleaves grabbed the com, "Cleaves to Shuttle. Respond. We need to move, and we can't be collected from the Evac tower." Cleaves screamed.
"Give us the code word." The pilot said.
"The codeword is-" Cleaves was cut off by a rumble and the monitor started to spark. Cleaves had to move back. Alarms started to go off.
"Cleaves? Cleaves, it's dead." The Doctor said, grabbing her arms.
"We need to get out of here. We need to get back downstairs and get those vents back on. Come on." The professor said leading her out.
The Doctor led them into the corridor and at the same time the Professors said, "Ow."
"What happened?" The Doctor asked.
"It's nothing." The Professor said. The G-Professor nodded.
The Doctor nodded and continued on. He turned a corridor and there were eyes on one side of the tunnel. "Ah. The eyes have it." The Doctor whispered.
"Why are they here?" Amy asked.
"To accuse…" The Professor started.
"Us." The G-Professor said with a bit too much enthusiasm.
"Ignore them." Cleaves said. "It's not far."
The Doctor led everyone to the thermostatic room and looked at the monitor with worry, "It's a chemical reaction now. I can't stop it. This place is going to blow sky-high." He said quietly.
"Exactly how long have we got?" Cleaves asked.
"An hour? Five seconds? Somewhere around that." The Doctor said.
"Extremely helpful kitten." The Professor said sarcastically.
A klaxon bell wailed and the Doctor screamed, "Out!"
They ran out of the thermostatic room ad bumped into Rory running the opposite way. "Thank god. All right?" Rory asked.
"Oh Rory. Oh Rory." Amy said, hugging him.
"There's a way out. Jennifer found it. A secret tunnel under the crypt." Rory explained.
"From the crypt? It's not on the schematics." Cleaves said.
"It runs out of the monastery. Maybe even under the Tardis, Professor. Follow me." Rory said leading them down the hall.
With the G-Doctor…
The G-Doctor was lying next to the real Jennifer's lifeless body. He woke up and saw the other gangers standing over him.
"Got anything for a sore head?" He asked.
"This is how they'll always treat us. Do you see now? After all, you're one of us, Doctor." The G-Cleaves said.
"Call me Smith." He said, "John Smith." He said, shrugging as he sat up.
Yah, I know this is boring. But don't worry it will soon be exciting... yes soon. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!... I don't know what that was. I'm sorry... Well! Review and hope you enjoyed :)
