Last time: "Call me Smith." He said, "John Smith." He said, shrugging as he sat up.
Back at the Acid Room…
"We can't leave without Buzzer." Jimmy said.
"I'll go back for him." Cleaves said heading for the door.
"Er, Doctor, look. I'd better tell you. I haven't been quite straight with you." Rorary said as G-Jennifer closed the door and locked.
"Rory!" The Doctor screamed.
"Hang on, Jen. We don't need to lock them up. We should just show them what we found." Rory said sounding a bit worried.
"I don't think so." The G-Jennifer said.
"Rory! What the hell are you doing?!" The Professor shouted.
"Rory Pond. Roranicus Pondicus!" The Doctor screamed banging on the window of the door.
"Rory, what the hell are you playing at?" Amy asked.
"They've been throwing away old flesh and leaving it to rot. Alive. I think the world should see that." Rory said.
"Rory there is no time. The factory's about to explode." The Doctor tried to explain.
"Are you sure about this? Because I'm not. Let them out." Rory demanded.
"The little girl got strong." G-Jennifer said.
"What?" Rory asked confused.
"The little girl lost on the moors in her red willies, looking for a way home? Well she got strong, Rory. I told you, remember?" G-Jennifer said, an amused smile on her face.
"But that wasn't. It was the other Jennifer that told me about a little girl." Rory said thoroughly confused.
"Oh? What other Jennifer?" She asked, her eyes flashing to their ganger state.
"Well, the, the... Wait you tricked me? Let me go. I'm opening the door. Let me." The G-Jennifer grabbed his arm and pulled, "I'm sorry!" Was all he could say before they pulled him away.
"No!" Amy said, giving one last bang to the window before turning away quickly and leaning on the railing.
The G-Cleaves walked up to the window and stared at Cleaves, "We have to be free." She said.
"I'm sorry too, Miranda. Of all the humans in the world, you had to pick the one with the clot. But hey. Them's the breaks. Welcome to the human race." Cleaves said. The G-Cleaves looked confused.
The Professor pulled out her sonic screwdriver and scanned the acid vat, "This is going to overheat and fill the room with acid, just as a point of interest." The Professor said.
"And we can't stop it?" Cleaves asked.
"Just as a point of interest? No." The G-Professor answered.
At the dining hall…
Rory was standing at the end of the long table and the gangers blocked the entrance. The G-Doctor was sitting on top of the other side of the table. "You created another ganger just to trick me. You tricked me. When I found you, you were both flesh and you tricked me into trusting you. Jen's dead, isn't she?" Rory screamed at them.
"She's gone, Rory. Gone." The G-Doctor said, standing up.
"Shuttle. We're dropping down on our approach. Stand by for evac." The pilot's voice echoed throughout the room.
"The humans will be melted, as they deserve, and then the factory will be destroyed. Once we get to the mainland, the real battle begins. The humans won't stand a chance. You're one of us, Doctor. Join the revolution." She said, snapping her fingers and pointing at him.
"I've got to go get them out." Rory said heading for the door. The G-Doctor pushed him back. "No way." Rory whispered. "No."
Acid Room...
Dicken was lowering the lid on to the acid vat. "It'll never hold her." Jimmy said.
"If you have a better plan, I'm all ears. In fact, if you have a better plan, I'll take you to a planet where everyone is all ears." The Doctor said enthusiastically.
Dining Hall...
"Doctor we can't just let them die." Rory begged. "The Professors in there and Amy. You can't just let them die."
The G-Doctor checked his wrist watch, "Ring ring." He said.
Rory tried to go through him but the G-Doctor pushed him back, "Ring ring!" He screamed.
Just then the whole monastery started to shake. Rory took the chance to try and leave again but the G-Doctor said ,"Stay."
"Ok." Rory said quickly and held up his hands in surrender.
Suddenly the phone started to ring, "Ah, that'll be the phone. Somebody get the phone. Jimmy, get the phone. No? Fine, I'll get the phone. Stay put." The G-Doctor said rapidly. The G-Doctor answered the call and a little boy in pajamas popped up under the words Morpeth Jetsan Pre-Booked Holo-Call 011-109-4455. "Ha! Hello, Adam, I'm the Doctor. Well, other Doctor. Or Smith. It's complicated and boring. Anyway, who cares. It's your birthday." The G-Doctor said enthusiastically.
"Yay!" Adam said.
"Yay. Now have you been getting up very early and jumping on the bed?" The G-Doctor asked.
"Yes, really high." Adam answered.
"I expect chocolate for breakfast. If you don't feel sick by mid-morning, you're not doing it right. Now I think you want to speak to Dad." The G-Doctor said, turning to the G-Jimmy.
"Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes." Adam said happily. "Daddy?" He asked.
G-Jimmy was staring at Adam, shocked. "You'll do Jimmy. What does the other Jimmy matter now? You're both the same dad, aren't you? Come on Adam's waiting." The G-Doctor said, gesturing to the boy.
The factory started to rumble. "Daddy? Daddy, what that's rumbly noise? What's going on, Daddy? Daddy?" Adam asked.
G-Jimmy stared for a moment more at Adam and then bolted out the door. "You've tricked him into an act of weakness, Doctor." G-Jennifer spat out.
"No, I've helped him into an act of humanity. Anyone else like the sound of that? Act of humanity." The G-Doctor said slowly.
"Dicken drain the acid well in Crypt One." G-Cleaves ordered.
"Don't you dare." G-Jennifer said as Dicken ran out the door.
"I've had it with this. What's the point in this ridiculous war? Look at you, Jen. You were a sweet kid. Look at you now. The stuff of nightmares. I don't want my world populated by monsters." G-Cleaves said.
"You can't stop the factory from melting down, boss. I'll take revenge on humanity with or without you." G-Jennifer said, a smug smile on her face.
"It doesn't have to be about revenge. It can be so much better than that." The G-Doctor said, pounding his fist lightly on the table. G-Jennifer ignored him and stormed out.
Acid Room…
Jimmy was struggling to keep the lid on the boiling vat but it lifted up a bit and he got burnt by acid. He stepped back and G-Jimmy ran into the room, "Let me through." He said, heading for Jimmy.
Jimmy fell down on to the floor and G-Jimmy caught him. "There's nothing we can do. The acid's reached his heart." The Doctor said sadly.
The Professor had a stoic look on her face and The G-Professor looked sorrowfully at the two.
"Hang in there, mate." G-Jimmy said.
"I'm quite handsome from this angle." Jimmy said gazing at himself.
"I'm sorry. I'm the fake. Adam deserves his real dad." G-Jimmy said sadly.
"Shut up." Jimmy said.
"What do you want me to do? Anything. Just say." G-Jimmy begged.
"The way things are, mate, it's up to you now. Be a dad. You remember how." Jimmy said, handing him his wedding ring. Then he slumped in his arms and his eyes shut.
The Doctor looked at the G-Jimmy, "Jimmy Wicks, you're a dad."
Dining Hall…
The rescued group entered the room and Amy went to Rory. The G-Professor went over and hugged the G-Doctor. Her hand touched the lump on the back of his head and she laughed, "That's why my head hurt." She muttered.
"Daddy? Where's my daddy?" Adam asked.
G-Jimmy walked over, "Hey sunshine. What are you up to?" He asked with a smile.
"Opening all my presents." Adam said.
"Haha, good lad. You have fun today. And remember your dad, he loves you very, very much." G-Jimmy said sadly.
"When are you coming home?" Adam asked.
"Daddy's coming home today, Adam." The Doctor said.
"Yay." Adam exclaimed and he started to do a little dance.
"Now we need to move." The Doctor said. The time lords led them out through a tunnel and as they turned down another tunnel G-Jennifer appeared. And she turned into a horrible monster. The Doctor turned, "Run. Run. Run!" He screamed and started to run the opposite way. They got to a security door labeled No Humans and the two Dickens closed the door.
The Professor looked at the roof, "Ooo roofs gonna give." She said.
"We have to stop her. This door doesn't lock." The G-Dicken said.
"No but the far one does." Dicken said, opening the door and running to the other door. They watched as Dicken reached the door but struggled to close it. They saw the door close with Dicken on the other side. Then a ear-piercing scream filled the air.
"No." G-Dicken said before closing and holding the door. G-Cleaves. The G-Doctor, the G-Professor and Amy helped hold the door closed.
The Professor was watching the roof, "Here she comes." She said just as the black door came crashing down.
"Oh, she does love to make an entrance." The G-Professor said.
The Professor opened the door and said, "Everyone move."
"Go. Go, go go." The G-Doctor said, pushing G-Dicken. Rory, Koschei, and G-Dicken ran straight into the Tardis.
"Get on board. Go." G-Cleaves ordered.
"I'm not leaving." Cleaves said.
"Go." G-Cleaves said sternly.
Cleaves gave her a look and then ran to the Tardis.
"Hey, hey. Now's our chance." Amy said.
"I have to stay. Hold this door closed with the Professor. Give you time to dematerialize." The G-Doctor said.
"Oh, don't be crazy. Okay, what happens to you?" Amy asked.
"Well this place is just about to explode. But I can stop her." He said.
"All of you can survive this, okay. There has to be a way." Amy said, looking at both the G-Professor and G-Doctor.
"Or perhaps you think I should stay instead? Mister Smith." The Doctor said.
"No, of course not. But look, this man, I've flown with him, you know? And you are amazing and yeah I misjudged you, but you're not him. I'm sorry." Amy said, walking up to the Doctor.
"Amy that's the real Doctor." The G-Professor said, gesturing to the one standing in front of her. "This is the Flesh." She added, gesturing to the one beside her.
"No, you're the real him." Amy said looking at the one holding the door.
"No, I'm not and I haven't been all along." He said, pushing against the door with the G-Professor.
"What?" Amy asked, confused.
"I'm the original Doctor, Amy. We had to know if we were truly the same. It was important, vital we learn about The Flesh, and we could only do that through your eyes." The Doctor said.
Amy turned to the G-Doctor, "I never thought it possible." She muttered.
"What?" The G-Doctor asked.
She walked forward and hugged him, "You're twice the man I thought you were." She said.
"Push, Amy. Bt only when she tells you to." The G-Doctor said into her ear.
Amy looked at him with a confused expression and The G-Professor pulled her into a hug before she could ask, "Amy I want you to remember these words because it is vital you do and do not tell the Doctor." The G-Professor said through her teeth, "The storm will only stop when the wolf comes back." She said then she pushed her away and fell back against the door.
"Amy come on." Rory screamed.
"Come on Kitten."The Professor said from the doorway.
Amy and the Doctor started to walk to the Tardis. "Well my death arrives I suppose." The G-Doctor said.
"But this one, we're not invited to." The Doctor said quietly.
"Pardon?' The G-Doctor asked while the G-Professor scoffed.
"Nothing. Your molecular memory can survive this, you know. It may not be the end." He said throwing his sonic screwdriver to the ganger.
"Yeah, well, if I turn up to nick all your biscuits, then you'll know you were right, won't you." The G-Doctor said. "You too, Cleaves. Off you pop." The G-Doctor said, looking at the G-Cleaves.
"I'm staying." She said.
"This is not the time for grand gestures." The Professor said.
"Says the queen of grand gestures. This is my factory. I'm not going anywhere." G-Cleaves argued.
"Foreman Miranda Cleaves, marvelous. Beware of imitations." The G-Doctor said giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"What no kiss for me." The G-Professor said with a smile.
G-Cleaves ignored them. "Clear off out of here, the lot of you." G-Cleaves yelled.
The Doctor, Amy, and Rory ran into the Tardis to join everybody else. The Tardis dematerialized. "This will dissolve her." The G-Doctor said, with his sonic screwdriver out of his pocket. The G-Professor got her outs too.
"Here Cleaves. Point and press." The G-Professor said handing it to her.
"This will dissolve us too." G-Cleaves said.
"There may be a way back from this." The G-Doctor said.
"How?" The G-Cleaves asked.
"Don't know. Let's find out, eh?" The G-Doctor said, fling open the door. The G-Professor and the G-Doctor had their hands both on the sonic pointing at the monster while Cleaves had the G-Professor's sonic pointed at the monster.
"Now about that kiss." The G-Professor said, leaning up and kissing the G-Doctor. Her finger came down on the button and the whirring of both sonic's filled the room. The monster dissolved and the three people dissolved right after.
In the Tardis…
The Professor was pulling levers and things on the console while everyone was standing around. "The energy from the Tardis will stabilize the gangers for good. They're people now." The Doctor explained.
"And what happens to me? I still have this." Cleaves said pointing at her head.
"Ah, that's not a problem. I have something for that." The Professor said, rummaging under the console, "It's small and red and tastes like burnt onions. Ha. But it'll get rid of your blood clot." She said, pulling out a vile with red liquid in it and tossing it to Cleaves. Then she rummaged under the console again and pulled out a red balloon. "Happy endings." She said.
~Forward in Time~
At the beach…
The Doctor and the Professor were standing away from the reuniting family. The Professor had her arms crossed and The Doctor had an arm around her, "You're a good man." The Professor said.
"Hm?" He asked.
She looked up at him, "You're a good man Doctor." She said again with a smile. Then she looked back at her Tardis, "I pity the demons who go to war with you." She muttered.
"What was that?" He asked.
"Oh nothing. Just an old nursery rhyme River taught me." She said waving her hand. "Let's get back to the Tardis. We still need to drop off Cleaves and Dicken." She said walking to the door.
Morpeth Jetsan Headquarters…
"You really want us to do this?" Cleaves asked.
"Your company's telling the world that the situation is over. You need to get in there and tell them that the situation's only just begun. Make them understand what they're doing to the Flesh. Make them stop. Dicken, remember, people are good. In their bones, truly good. Don't hate them, will you?" The Doctor explained.
"How can I hate them? I'm one of them now." G-Dicken said gratefully.
"Yeah. And just remember, people died. Don't let that be in vain. Make what you say in that room count." The Doctor added.
"Ready? Side by side."Cleaves said.
"You got it boss." G-Dicken said. They opened the door and the press could be heard.
The door closed. "You okay?" Amy asked the Doctor.
The Professors eyes flashed gold and they settled on Amy's stomach, "Oh no." She muttered.
"I said breathe, Pond. Remember? Well, breath." The Doctor said.
"Why?" Amy asked.
""Breathe." The Doctor said again.
Suddenly Amy doubled over in pain. "Oh!" She said startled.
"Whoa." Rory said, helping her stand. "What's wrong with her?"
"Get her into the Tardis." The Professor said walking back.
Rory helped her get back. "Doctor! What is happening to her?" Rory asked.
"Contractions." The Doctor answered.
"Contractions?" Rory asked.
"She's going into labor." The Professor said, putting a hand on Amy's shoulder.
"Did she say? No. No, no. Of course she didn't. Rory, I don't like this. Ow." Amy said, leaning her forehead against Rory's.
"You're going to have to start explaining some of this to me, Doctor." Rory said, holding on to Amy.
"What, the birds and the bees? She's having a baby. I needed to see the Flesh in its early days. That's why I scanned it. That's why we were there in the first place. I was going to drop you off for fish and chips first, but things happened and there was stuff and shenanigans. Beautiful word, shenanigans." The Doctor muttered, turned away from them.
"It hurts." Amy said.
"Breath. I needed enough information to block the signal to the Flesh." The Doctor said turning around quickly.
"What signal?" Amy asked.
"The signal to you." The Professor said sadly.
"Doctor." Amy said in disbelief.
"Rory I'm going to need you to stand away." The Professor said sincerely.
"What? No. Why?" Rory said, grabbing Amy's hand and going closer to her. The Doctor looked towards the wall and he had a stoic expression.
"Rory, given what we've learned, I'll be as nice as I can but I need you to stand away." The Professor said again, her eyes glowing gold.
Rory stared at Amy and then at the Professor. He inched away and let go of Amy's hand. "No. No." She said quietly.
"Doctor, I am frightened. I'm properly, properly scared." Amy said, tears in her eyes.
"Don't be. Hold on. We're coming for you. I swear it. Whatever happens, however hard, however far, we will find you." The Doctor said not moving.
"I'm right here." Amy said.
The Professor stepped into her line of view and blocked the Doctor. Amy didn't need to see the Doctor like this. Her vision of him would stay like it was, strong. "Amy? I need you to listen to me." She said, holding her arms. Amy held her arms for support, "I'm sorry I have to do this but… be strong. You be as strong as you can." The Professors eyes were still gold, "Because I promise you, you will be safe," The Professor put hand on Amy's stomach, "And so will she… But right now I am terribly sorry." She said, pulling away. She took out her sonic screwdriver and pointed it at Amy, "Because you haven't been here for a very long time."
"Oh no." She whispered. The Professor pressed the button on the sonic and Amy turned into Flesh on the floor.
"I am so so sorry." The Professor said looking at the floor sorrowfully.
