Update from the 'future' in 2021 - In this section right here, I had originally written a poem. Its home was here for many years, but then when I saw "Santana" again, I finally got to give it to her. Now it feels right that only she should have it, so I took it down from here. :)
Dear "Santana,"
I probably shouldn't write poetry, right? :p You were always better at that than me, but I hope you liked my best effort anyway.
If you are reading this, I have probably sent you here because we have met again and maybe you have questions, or maybe you even need reassurance about this period of your life. Are we old now? Maybe we are, or maybe the day you'll call 'today' is only in the near future from me writing this.
This story was my love letter to you, and I hope it reminds you of how I loved you then, but also of how I love you still…

Oh, and plus a whole bunch of guests that I don't have names for, and a lot of support from people alerting and subscribing. We actually just got our 300th alert message the other day, how cool is that?
Lots of people have hurt us, but you know… the unicorns helped to restore my faith in people, and the world and I know that you would have loved them too.
Thank you for the time you spent with me, I will always treasure it, and I will always believe in you. Keep moving forward, and be brave… and strong… like an anaconda. :p
