Chapter 2 – Allies & Fated Meeting

It had been a few months since our silver haired protagonist performed the Eternal Ice Heart ritual and became one of the strongest beings in the supernatural world if only demonic power was being compared. A few months since he had declared his family dead in his eyes and vowed to make them realize what they had lost. And he was going to savor the look of despair that covered their faces when he shows them what they had lost and now, will never have.

Ever since that day, something had died within him. Knowing that no matter what pain and mutilation he went through, he will never be acknowledged made Valerian's hatred towards his family reach new heights. He tempered his anger with his steel cold will, being overwhelmed by his determination to surpass all others.

The very next day, he had begun experimenting his newfound powers and abilities. The biggest and probably the best change had to be the level of his Demonic Power. Where previously it was comparable to a tiny ice cube, it was now a raging blizzard of magic. If he had to compare himself to other supernatural beings, he would be classified as low deity-class! With training he could easily compare to the likes of Major Gods like the Hindu Trinity that currently occupy the top spot in Deity Class, just below Ophis and Great Red. Not only did it boost his demonic power, but it also increased his control over it, allowing him to conceal it, making it seem as though he was only a High Low-Class or Middle-Class Devil in power. This would surely surprise his 'family'.

Now that his magic had ascended to a certain level, he could finally begin practicing his magic. The first thing he did though was placing runes all around a certain area in the forest that no one ever really visited, thus making an invisible barrier that prevented anyone from discovering him as it blocked sight, sound and smell. The person would also turn away as the barrier cast an illusion over the people nearby to stay away from the area. It was quite handy. Although, it took a lot of time for him to set that up, he was glad that he did. Now he could let his magic go and no one would notice as it blocked detection spells completely.

So, to signify his first attempt at using magic, he began practicing with his most natural and preferred affinity: ice. He cast a simple spell that would freeze the legs of the enemy for a few seconds to either allow the caster to escape or assassinate them. But when he did cast the spell, he noticed the change in his ice. It had turned black! It was the exact same color as the Orb of Avarice and the organ beating in his chest. The temperature was also insanely low when compared to the ice magic of his 'mother' or the current Leviathan.

But another thing left him completely stumped. Apparently, the Orb could be considered somewhat of a sacred gear as it did grant the wielder an ability. If it had to be known in lay man's terms then it granted user a simple power: Infinity or Limitless. Any ice spells he casts only required the initial power to cast them, after that they would remain like that unless removed if he willed it; if they were overpowered by superior forms of magic; or if he exhausted his reserves completely, which was highly unlikely but if he did fight another deity or Satan class being, he might have an issue. And some spells did take up a lot of energy.

Other spells required the caster to constantly empower them with their demonic power to sustain them so it was boon, but he had to come up with a way to minimize the output of his energy.

One day, when he was feeling curious, he decided to lower the temperature of his ice to the lowest point he could. To his surprise, due to the ritual, he had obtained the ability to turn bring his ice magic down to the legendary state of absolute zero, something that neither his 'mother' or Serafall Leviathan, two of the strongest ice magic users, could achieve. What was even more amazing was with his insane control over his ice magic, he could freeze anything, even magic circles, in less than a nanosecond. The downside was the range. His absolute zero ice, or eternal ice as he started to call it, could only reach up to 5 meters. So, anything after that, although insanely powerful, could be blocked by an Ultimate-Class Devil. Thus, he began training to expand his range as well.

Even though he had a good amount of knowledge on other elemental magics, he never had a desire to use them as such since they seemed weak against his ice magic. The only powers that he remembered that would actually damage his ice were the Power of Destruction (Sirzechs level, not Rias' level), Lucifer Clan's Primordial Power of Darkness, Leviathan's Water Magic that could cut through it with enough pressure and the flames of Amaterasu. He did not know about the abilities of the Hindu God of Destruction, so he could not say for sure but he probably could destroy his ice. Diehauser could also render his ability Worthless.

He needed a way to counter these abilities, in case his ice failed. Thus, he immersed himself into the world of runic magic and barrier magic. After weeks of trial and error, he finally created spells that would aid him in countering enemies with stronger magic. These two spells were Perfect Cube and Absolute Cancel.

Through Perfect Cube, he could trap anything and anyone with lower demonic power and magic than him, with no chance of them escaping. The only people that could escape the barrier were beings that were stronger than him; Sirzechs, in his true form; and Ajuka, if he managed to use his Kankara formula before the barrier was complete. It was terrifying spell and could also be used as a defensive method, much like Falbium's Absolute Defense. Diehauser could not render it Worthless as by utilizing Nordic runes, Greek runes and Demonic runes, he had created an ingenious network that empowered the barrier and also granted the barrier another ability, Reflect. It worked just as its name suggests, it reflected any and all attacks, but some might still break through.

He wished to develop it further but for now this would suffice. The downside was the time it took for the barrier to complete. It takes 3.38856 seconds precisely, for the barrier to be complete. In that amount of time, anyone with 2 pairs of wings or more could escape easily. Also, he had to constantly pour his magical energy into the runes which could prove taxing in a long battle. This was something he had to work on.

The other ability, Absolute Cancel, was much like the Worthless ability but it only worked on magical attacks. By creating a mysterious array of runes and connecting it to a small magic circle that would fit in his palm, he could cancel out magic attacks sent at him if he overpowered the magic power of the spell with his own. This would also temporarily take away the ability of an individual to cast magic if they are in contact with him. He couldn't use it on anyone above mid high-class as they are quite skilled in close combat so he would only be able to hold onto them for a few moments before he got his ass handed to him. The downside once again was the amount of time it went in creating the magic circle in his hand. If it was a regular sized one then he could cast it faster, but due to its size it was extremely tricky to fit such volatile runes in a space this small. Plus, the amount of demonic power it consumed was too much for even him to handle. This was also because once the circle was cast and spell was in effect, it leaked into the surrounding area around it, wasting magic power.

But he had a big problem right now, his physical body and strength. His body was comparatively weak against his magic and due to his reserves increasing day by day, it was becoming more difficult for his body to sustain. It was like a rubber band being stretched beyond its capacity, and when the day comes, it would snap quite literally. Thus, he had to train his body to handle the weight of his own power so he doesn't end up mutilating himself.

He was thinking all of this while sitting in the garden outside the mansion where the guests had for the birthday of 'the most promising young devil and Gremory'. His birthday had passed a few weeks back and only he had remembered it, celebrating it by destroying his training ground a lot of , he was, like usual, told not to bother people by Lady Gremory. He decided against spending time anywhere near the place where the party was being held, much to the frustration of the Sitri heiress who wanted to see how he was doing after so long.

He sat there, near the tulip flower bushes, watching as flowers of all colors swayed with the rustling wind and glowed brightly underneath the moonlight. He was so entranced by their beauty, that he did not notice a figure standing behind him.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" a voice stated behind him.

The instant he heard someone had sneaked up on him, he moved around with frightening speed and froze the person behind up down to their necks with an incredible use of magic. He took a deep breath and calmed down before looking up at who it was. Needless to say, he was left shocked.

The person who he had just frozen was a rather tall middle-aged man, with a muscular body and brown hair with a long beard and purple eyes that radiated power. This was Zekram Bael, the first head of the Bael Clan, a first-generation Devil, father of the current Lord Bael and Lady Gremory. He has a hell of a lot more influential compared to other people, even the Devil Kings, and is regarded as the True Devil King of the Underworld. He then quickly undid his ice and began panicking. Would he be arrested? Would he be humiliated in public again? Or would he be killed!? All of these thoughts swarmed his mind. After all, he was still a young 9-year-old boy who doesn't know much about the political world outside.

The retired Bael Lord on the other hand, was staring at the boy with wide eyes, shock and awe evident on his face. He obviously had heard about the boy's situation and knew that with the way his daughter and her husband acted, he would have a very difficult life at home. But after hearing about the incident with the Sitri girl a few years back, he was shocked to learn his grandson and his wife also treated him like that, the kid's own parents. From that day on he had kept tabs on the boy by making a few servants of his house come over and get a general idea of the situation. He had not been surprised when the boy began shutting everyone out after the Sitri girl publicly humiliated him. But he was surprised by the fact that the boy had become very cold and always had a composed, indifferent expression on him. Something he was abundantly familiar with, after all he was friends with the Eucliffe Lucifuge, the first Lord Lucifuge and Grayfia's father. If he didn't know any better, he probably would have said he was looking at a younger version of the man right now.

He saw the boy panicking and said, "Don't worry, I assure you that you have done nothing wrong or displeased me through any means. I was just astonished by your power, which I am sure that no one in the supernatural words knows about?"

Valerian relaxed a bit visibly, but still held his guard, just in case the man had an ulterior motive, something that amused the older devil. The man was once again shocked by the young Lucifuge's words when he asked, "Is there a reason why the head of the esteemed house of Bael is speaking with someone like me who is nothing more than trash in the eyes of most?" in the coldest voice he had ever heard coming from a child.

'Just how badly were you treated, young devil?' were Zekram's thoughts. The way the boy moved and spoke showed just how many trust issues he had and looked like he had accepted the fact he will always be alone in the world. He shook his head to clear his thoughts and a kind smile made its way on to his face before he asked the boy to walk with him.

The duo spent an hour or two in the gardens, walking through the paths as they gazed at the eclectic collection of flowers present and spoke to each other about various things regarding the devil world, something which the boy was happy to have information on as he wasn't involved in his 'family's' political circle, or any circle for that matter. For the first-generation devil however, he had to suppress his anger at his daughter and the family she was always going on about. Even if they were devils, no one treats a child like that and he was going to get answers, until a question appeared in his mind.

'Valerian here, was born with extremely low demonic power reserves, which is why he is treated like this if facts are anything to go by. So, how is it that he attained this strength and why hasn't anyone else noticed it?'

He saw hesitation in the boy's cold blue eyes when he voiced his thoughts out loud, and wasn't surprised when he asked the older devil to make an oath on his honor as a devil (something which 1st generation devils uphold above all). After Zekram made the oath, the silver haired boy began his tale on how he went through the collection of books in the clan library after an incident years ago, which Zekram understood about which incident he was talking about. The devil was left astounded by the fact that the young boy in front of him had discovered the long lost and highly sought after Gremory Ritual library. The younger generation may have not known about it but the older ones still do. It was why the Gremory were held in such high regards by the Satans as they could create armies of ultimate-class devils from low born devils, by just using the right rituals. It was lost after Zayden Gremory died, and it is now that the library has been rediscovered again almost half a millennium later.

Valerian spoke to him about everything, including the ritual he conducted, but did not speak up about the artifacts like the Orb. He did not know why but he felt like he should trust the bearded man, but not too much to give up all of his secrets. The fact that the senior devil had agreed to take an oath of honor at his request made him trustworthy enough in Valerian's eyes.

He knew he would always be alone in the world, after all he always had been alone till now. But he figured that if he was going to rise up the ranks of the supernatural world, he would need allies. And Zekram Bael as an ally sounded pretty good. So, he told him about the ritual he had performed and how it had affected his powers, but he held back certain details like the Orb. He also spoke about his abilities with his ice magic and the problem he was facing now. That prompted Zekram to ask a question that nobody ever thought the older devil would do.

"How would you like to become my apprentice? I shall train you in boosting your physical traits and other abilities, and how to be a proper high-class devil, since I doubt your family has taught you. Would that be alright with you?"

This shocked Valerian. When asked why, the man replied with, "Well, you are my great grandson and I will be damned if I don't help you."

His entire life, everything had been taken away from him. Never had anyone offered him something. He didn't realize that his eyes had become slightly watery. He noticed that a tear had escaped his eyes, later on when the drop trailed down his cheeks. He quickly wiped his eyes and gave a face of fierce determination, and nodded with vigor. Everything he had learnt had been self-taught, except when he had to learn how to read and write. That was the only thing his mother had done for him, aside from giving birth to him. After that, everything had become about Rias and he was nowhere to be seen.

But now? He had a teacher all for himself, one that will definitely make him the perfect devil one can be. Now the Gremory were in for it!

Meanwhile, Zekram was fuming inside. He was enraged to the point he would make Rizevim piss his pants! His daughter and son, while he adored them both, had clearly let HIS power get to their heads. First, his doofus of a son decided to divorce Misla Vapula, a lovely woman from the now extinct Vapula Clan, just because her son did not have their clan's demonic ability, the Power of Destruction. While that would have been a problem for a regular devil, it wasn't for one with Vapula blood in them. They were masters of Touki and could easily tame lions and that alone was reason enough to fear them, since they could break their enemies' body through the sheer air pressure released by the force of their punch and could summon terrifyingly large lions into the battle. He had given his son an earful when he heard about the fool's decision, but he didn't budge and so Zekram left it at that. He had decided what he wanted for Sairaorg. That boy had determination, something most young devils like the second Phenex child lack and he would become a fine figure in the community one day.

Now here he was hearing about his other child, his daughter who he admitted may have become spoilt and bratty due to him coddling her since she was his first child. But what his great-grandson had informed him of, he wasn't sure if she was the same woman his wife had given birth to. She sounded like one of the Old Satan Faction leaders! He would have words with her soon, but right now he had a job to do. He had to train two young devils and both were showing promise to become stronger than the current devil kings as well. He would make them the perfect lords and pillars that the devil community needed. Plus, he was happy to be finally doing something for the younger generation directly after so long, instead of pulling strings politically.

Times were changing, he could feel it. But now he wondered, whether it was for good or for worse? A storm was approaching and he would do anything to make sure his community, the one his creators assembled, survived.

Time skip- A few months later

Hell. Agony. Suffering. Torture. Just some of the words that can be used to describe the 11 months of training that the duo consisting of Sairaorg and Valerian had gone through. The boys had been called over by Zekram at his personal castle, hidden somewhere in the depths of the forests in the Bael territory, using a summoning circle. The castle is concealed by countless runes that make it difficult to even locate the exact coordinates of the castle in the gigantic forest, thus preventing the castle from filling up with devils who want to suck up to him for favors. So, it was pretty empty and hence the boys had no problem at being seen.

The 2 young devils had hit it off instantly, even though when they had heard about the other, they were weary of the other one. But after getting to know the circumstances of the other, they warmed up to each other, somewhat. The first time the 2 had sparred, it had been clear that the 2 were fated to be rivals. While the Bael had been extremely better physically, the moment demonic power had been permitted to use, the Bael heir was helpless as he couldn't come within 5-meters of his enemy, or he would be frozen in ice just as cold and destructive as the one found in Cocytus. This had been a shock to both the Bael's present. They knew it was near impossible to lower the temperature to those levels as not even the strongest ice user in the underworld could do so. The first time Valerian had used ice magic in front of the older Bael, he felt somewhat nostalgic and a memory of a person with similar silver hair had clouded his mind.

The two young devils had greatly improved under Zekram's tutelage and would easily be considered as mid to upper high-class devils. Valerian had improved his physical strength and while he was not as strong as Sairaorg in that department, he could tank at least 3-4 hits from an upper ultimate-class devil like Zekram himself, at 55% of his power and 2 punches at 100%.

Sairaorg on the other hand, had followed Valerian's advice and had started mastering Wind and Lightning Magic to compensate for the lack of the PoD. This benefitted him as he could incorporate either one of the elements into his fighting style to increase the ferocity of his attacks along with the speed at which they hit the opponent. And due to his larger frame, the advantage that opponents shorter than him had against him would also be neutralized as he could match their speed.

During the start of their training, Valerian had been on guard against the two Bael's which was not surprising to them. Anyone who had to suffer a fate of loneliness simple due to the fact that they were not strong enough in the eyes of their clan would react the same way around people. But thankfully, while his trust in them was not absolute, they could proudly say that they had cracked his ice-cold shell and managed to make some sort of a place in his heart. He had even started calling Zekram as Grandfather, something that made the old devil happy inside, despite him not showing it.

Currently however, the two young devils were seen trading blows in the training grounds of the Bael estate, near the outskirts of the underworld. This was another normal day for them as they had sparred nearly every day from Day one of their training. The score was currently tied at 161-161 and it looks like the match wasn't going to tip in the favor of one of them anytime soon.

"So, Sairaorg, how is Lady Misla's health these days? Is she feeling any better?" asked Valerian, as he ducked under a roundhouse kick charged with electricity from his opponent and released another wave of ice in his opponent's direction. It was no secret in the underworld that Lady Misla had been removed from the Bael Lord's Mansion by the current Lord Bael, Zekram's son. Even though Zekram had given him quite an earful, Sairaorg's father had refused to remarry Misla and take both the mother and son in once again. The two now lived in another house not far from Zekram's castle.

It was also known to the 3 devils that her health was failing rapidly and even after Zekram had appointed some of the best medics known to Devils, no major improvement had been made. They could not identify the cause of her health issues and so, could not do anything else accept try.

"Just like she was yesterday. Whenever I am around, she will keep on smiling, but I can easily see that she is in tremendous pain. I just wish there was something I could do to help her, but thanks for asking nephew," Sairorg said, smiling as he jumped over the attack sent by Valerian and ignoring the twitching of his opponent's eye when he addressed him as 'nephew'. There wasn't a lot of age difference between them!

"My betrothal with Kuisha has also been finalized. We will get engaged once we receive our evil pieces."

Ah yes. Sairaorg's mother had also asked another thing of him, apart from the fact to become the strongest, compared to anyone else. She understood that she might not live that long and as such wanted to at least know that her son will be in capable hands once she passes away. So, when she asked Zekram to find her son a good woman who will love him for himself, only one person came to mind. The one who had never discriminated against him and always treated him well, despite whatever the other prejudiced fucks said. That was the Abaddon heiress, Kuisha Abaddon, and now soon to be Sairaorg's fiancée and future queen, if he bested her in a match or he would join her if he lost to her.

"Well congratulations. At least you would not bother me anymore," the silver haired devil replied as he rained a barrage of punches on Sairaorg, with his arms covered in a gauntlet coated with ice.

Just as Sairaorg was about to reply, a loud explosion was heard in the distance. The two immediately went on guard. This was one of the most secure places in the underworld and if there was an attack about to happen here, well they sure as hell didn't want to know or face who or what had the guts to come busting down here. They might be strong and courageous but they were not stupid to go down there without a plan or backup. So, Sairaorg quickly contacted Zekram through a magic circle and passed down the coordinates of the place they were headed to. Once the call was done, the two nodded at each other and brought out their devil wings (they have 4 wings) and soared down to the site of explosion.

They arrived to see an… interesting sight. There, laying in a small crater was a young girl, approximately their age if not younger, with silver hair that shined through the darkness of the cave they were in. This type of silver hair was only seen in two clans: Lucifer and Lucifuge. But that did not shock them. What shocked them was the amount of blood the girl had on herself and the 2 metallic draconic wings that were coming out of her back and seemed to glow. They immediately pulled her out of the crater and Valerian began using what little healing magic he knew on her. While they were in the middle of healing her, Zekram arrived in his golden colored, Bael Clan magic circle and when he laid his eyes on the girl, he confirmed their suspicions regarding her heritage when he said, "Lucifer."

He was about to ask them what was going on, when another circle erupted beside them. The trio was shocked to see, the Governor General of the Grigori, Azazel the first fallen after the original Satans, step out. The three immediately brought out their magic circles, ready to attack with black ice, lightning and PoD at a moment's notice if the man tried anything.

"Woah, what is with the hostility here?'' he exclaimed as he put up his hands as if he were surrendering.

"What business do you have here, Azazel?" the older devil asked, his eyes narrowed.

"Well, old man you are awfully close to Grigori territory and I sensed a dragon's presence in the area. So, I came to check out whether it was a threat or not."

"I believe the draconic presence you felt would be this girl. She is the possessor of Divine Dividing, making her this generation's White Dragon Empress," Valerian answered.

"But how is that possible? I thought only humans were blessed with Sacred Gears?" Sairaorg enquired.

"She is half human, muscle head. Use your senses!" Valerian spoke up harshly.

And true enough the girl was definitely half human. Valerian had healed most of her wounds now and allowed Azazel to run a diagnostic check on her.

"Looks like the girl was abused," he said, seriousness and rage evident in his voice. "She has many wounds from what looks like whip markings and she is malnourished as well, probably due to deliberate starvation. Whoever did this, wasn't rooting for the child to survive as her magic reserves are also bound, preventing her magic from healing her or providing her with any sort of protection against this treatment."

At this, even the devils were outraged. Nobody did this to their kin and got away with it. Even if she was a part of the Old Satan Faction, she was still a young girl and whoever did this shall pay. While these thoughts were going through the minds of the 3 devils, the young girl began to stir up. The moment she opened her eyes, she saw a young boy with hair similar to hair and a handsome aristocratic face. She blushed at first, but then remembered everything and quickly jumped away. Two magic circles with the Lucifer Clan crest opened beside her and 2 jet black spears with a bright white light covering their borders came out of it. The two beings who fought in the Great War immediately recognized it as the Lucifer Clan's ability, the Primordial Power of Darkness, something that works similar to the holy light used by angels and fallen angels.

She looked around frantically and was about to fire when the infamous wings of Divine Dividing popped out of her back.

"Valiana STOP!" a gruff voice called out. "They saved your life, so calm down. You can trust them… for now at least." Then the same voice spoke in her mind, 'If they try anything I'll teleport us out of here, don't worry.'

"Who are you and what do you want?!" the girl, Valiana, spoke with a shaken-up voice. It was clear that she feared the people in front of her for two reasons- one, she couldn't fight her way out even if she wanted to due to how injured she was, and second, the 2 older men in front of her were monsters if power their power was anything to go by.

"Hey lady, calm down, alright. We won't hurt you," Azazel said in a placating tone. He looked at the other people in the room and collectively they all stepped back, to give her some space. The girl seemed to have relaxed a little but the spears did not disappear.

"Can you tell us who you are? We may be able to help you," he spoke up again.

'Tell them, Vali. They seem to be telling the truth.' The same animalistic voice spoke in her mind. She knew her partner could sense emotions and thus, if anyone lied, they would know it as their emotions would falter for a moment, and it has never been wrong. So, she trusted her partner and began explaining her life story, all the while the spears of darkness kept floating around beside her.

She told them her full name, Valiana Lucifer, granddaughter of Rizevim Livan Lucifer, and great granddaughter of Lucifer himself. She possesses Divine Dividing due to her mother being human and when her father found out that she has the potential to surpass everyone in her family in power, he began abusing her on the orders of Rizevim. He also abused her mother, simply because she was nice to her and always treated her wounds and tried to protect her.

A few days ago, she finally was able to speak to Albion (she couldn't before due to the blocks on her magic), the Heavenly White Dragon Emperor, and he advised her to runaway to the human world with her mother, a place where devils would not find them that easily. They were about to runaway last night, but her father got whiff of the plot and in a fit of rage, he killed her mother. That was the final straw for her and she was blinded by rage. Due to anger clouding her mind and overwhelming her emotions, she attacked her father and almost killed him before fleeing away due to his peerage coming to his rescue. She has been running since last night and finally got tired of flying away and crash landed here.

After listening to her tale, all of them were deeply saddened and enraged. How could someone treat their own daughter and wife like that?! Even for a devil, this was too cruel. Zekram was seething that he didn't finish of that pathetic excuse of a devil (Rizevim) when he had the chance in the war. Sairaorg and Azazel looked like they wanted to destroy the remaining members of the House of Lucifer. But the most peculiar and appalling reaction came from Valerian, as he went ahead despite Vali's warnings and gave her a soothing hug, all the while he whispered comforting things in her ears.

This action greatly surprised everyone present there. Zekram and Sairaorg had NEVER seen Valerian show any sort of affectionate gesture to other people. They thought he wasn't even capable of it because obviously, after such a shitty, loveless childhood, how was he supposed to. But the two were left speechless right now and had not it been them seeing it with their own eyes, they would have completely disregarded it.

Azazel was also surprised that the kid completely dismissed the girl's warnings and had hugged her, despite the spears of death hovering by her side. He was smart enough to understand that the kid had gone through something similar, but he did not know what.

For Vali, it was a different story. She was shocked that the handsome boy had hugged her, but was left astounded by how right it felt. His presence made her feel the same kind of warmth and comfort she felt in the presence of the only other person who ever loved her, her mother and that was because of 2 reasons- first, she was her mother and second, they had both been treated the same way and had to learn to be there for each other. So, how was it that this boy gave the same feeling as well?

Despite this, she could not help but hug the boy back tightly. An action that surprised the dragon with her as well. Albion knew his host had lived a tough childhood so, the fact that she even allowed him to hug her was too much for him, but the moment she hugged him back and began sobbing in the crook of his neck, he immediately began checking and fearing for his host's sanity.

Valerian on the other hand understood everything. He knew that she had suffered a similar fate compared to him and the two of them were the only ones in this world who would understand each other. So, he was not surprised when she hugged him back and felt relaxed in his presence.

A few minutes later, the entire ordeal was over and the red-faced girl had calmed down, they began brainstorming ideas regarding what to do next. After a few moments of silence Valerian spoke up saying, "She needs to stay hidden for now otherwise she will either be sold like cattle to an heir of the 72 pillars or killed due to being a part of the Old Satan Faction. So, it is better that Azazel takes her with him and trains her there."

Seeing everyone's surprised looks he elaborated, "From what I hear, you are good with Sacred Gears and can study her Divine Dividing and train her to become the strongest White Dragon Empress she can be and provide her with a place to stay and facilities. Devils and Angels will also not bother her and you can deal with any fallen who causes trouble, so it is a win-win situation for all."

Wow, the kid was smart. That was the thought of the fallen, the Heavenly Dragon and the Lucifer.

Moments later, the two shared one more hug and before she left, he gave her his name. To say she was surprised that he was a Lucifuge would be an understatement. Even Azazel was shocked. He had of course heard about the child of Sirzechs and Grayfia being powerless. But, right now the young man in front of him radiated an aura of power and the cold feeling he gave off, made him feel like he was standing in Cocytus. He would definitely need to check out what the young devil's deal was.

After the two departed for the Grigori and Valerian began walking towards the estate, he did not notice the huge grin on Sairaorg's face, nor did he see the thoughtful look and small smile on the older devil's face. But they both shared the same thought.

'This is the start of a beautiful relationship.'

Author's Notes

Hey guys. So, here is Chapter 2 that you guys were asking for. I know that in the original one the second chapter had moved along way into the future were he gets his evil pieces, but I wanted to focus some more on his childhood, mainly to involve a mentor and a childhood friend. I picked Zekram and Sairaorg cause Sairaorg also faced the same thing Valerian did and I believe that under Zekram's guidance the kid will advance more. I find it much better than believing that he surpassed ultimate-class in 5 years all by himself.

Also, in terms of demonic power, he might surpass Sirzechs but that doesn't mean he is the strongest. He lacks experience so he is not exactly too OP.

Many people were asking what my updating schedule is like and I'll be honest with you, I do not know. I might update 2 chapters in 2 days or 2 chapters in 2 months. But I promise you I'll update once a month at least.

Yes, this will be a harem story (DxD duh) and no, it will not be an all women peerage.

Harem candidates- Valiana (Fixed, Alpha), Yasaka (Fixed), Bellatrix (Fixed), Nagini (Fixed), Katarea (Fixed), Akeno (Not sure), Serafall (Not sure), Sona (Not sure), Ravel (Not sure).

Tell me your picks so I might add them. Same for the peerage.

(Not Finalized) Peerage- King: Valerian Lucifuge (OC DxD)

Queen: Valiana Lucifer (Mutation) (DxD)

Knights- Erza Belserion (Mutation) (Fairy Tail), Kyojuro Rengoku (KNY)

Bishops- Yasaka (Mutation) (DxD), Bellatrix (HP)

Rooks- White Beard (Mutation) (One Piece), Rook 2

Pawns- Albedo (Overlord), Katarea Leviathan (Mutation) (DxD), Hildegarde (Mutation) (Beelzebub), Nagini (HP), Kuroka (Mutation) (DxD), Karna (Archer) (Fate), Sarada (Mutation) (Naruto verse), 8th.
