Chapter Two

Recap

He leans over the counter and places a chaste kiss on my lips.

I hear a gasp from behind Sirius and we turn to see Ron's angry face.

This Time

Ron's face changed from anger to confusion to disgust in a matter of seconds.

"So, this is why you keep rejecting me Hermione?" His voice was low and dangerous.

I feel a shiver go down my spine.

"You kept brushing my advances off" He took a step towards Sirius and I.

"Kept making me look like an utter fool!" Sirius pulled me closer to him.

This angered Ron.

"You did all of this just so you can shag a man old enough to be your Father?" He shouted the last part.

"What are you shagging the Twins as well?" He kept shouting.

"Maybe even Hary, we all know you like famous People"

I felt an ice hot rage towards at this moment.

How dare he accuse me of sleeping with multiple men like some slut just because I wasn't interested in him.

I had no time to form a response before Harry and the Twins were downstairs as well.

"What's wrong Ron?" Harry asks Ron with a wary look on his face.

We all knew how Ron could get when he was angry.

"Sirius was taking advantage of Hermione" He shouted, and I could Sirius was reaching the end of his patience with Ron.

The twins looked confused, but I shot them a look that it wasn't true.

Harry on the hand looked outraged.

He was about to speak but Sirius spoke before we had two angry teenage boys.

"No, I didn't Harry." Sirius paused, searching for words.

"It was innocent, I asked her out Harry. She said yes and I kissed her. That's all Harry" I can see Harry trying to process this information.

The Twins looked happy for me, but I could see them still watching Ron wearily.

"You chose him over me?" Ron shrieked in outrage, he tried to lunge at me, but the twins caught him before he could get to me.

Sirius pulled me even more behind him and glared at Ron his beautiful Grey eyes, stormy once more.

"Calm down Ron, you can't be upset that she doesn't want you." Sirius shouted, and we heard more footsteps from upstairs.

Remus, Ginny and Mrs. Weasley came downstairs.

Confusion, annoyance and sleep evident on each face.

"Why is everyone shouting?" Mrs. Weasley asked trying to get the twins to stop restraining Ron.

"Sirius kissed Hermione" At that one sentence Mrs. Weasley's face darkened.

Ginny shot me a wink, and I blushed a bit.

Remus looked at Sirius with a mix between "What were you thinking?" and "Are you serious about her?"

"Is this true Sirius?" Mrs. Weasley's voice dropped several octaves.

"Yes, it is Molly. I asked Hermione out, she said yes. I sealed our relationship with a kiss." I can see he's trying hard not to smirk.

"It's a pureblood tradition, you know that" I knew he added that part just to be snarky.

It was incredibly hot.

At the mention of a pureblood tradition her face took on a form of disgust mingled with fury.

"I know that, but She doesn't" I noticed the words she emphasized.

So, did everyone else.

"What's that supposed to mean Molly?" Remus was normally quiet when fights were about to start so it shocked me that he would speak up at this point.

Especially to Molly.

"How would she know about a Pureblood tradition, she's Muggleborn therefore you should not have performed the ritual with her." She spoke in a Matter-of-fact voice.

I was shocked.

Ginny was staring at her mother with incomprehension on her face.

The Twins looked ready to shout.

Ginny beat them to the punch, however.

"Why does it matter if she's a muggleborn Mum?" Ginny asked her mother, daring her mother to continue what she was saying.

"You know why it matters Gin" Ron snapped at her still struggling to free himself from the twins who had a strong hold on him from what I could see.

Which granted was not a whole lot because Sirius kept me behind him trying to protect me in case Ron did get free.

"I thought you didn't believe in the whole Blood purity thing Molly?" Sirius said coolly.

I could see Harry wanting to say something to Molly but still wanting to take Ron's side.

He was torn.

"I thought you didn't either?" Was the only response she could come up with?

"Who knows, maybe it stuck with me all this time" His voice was snappy, and I knew he was losing his patience.

"And before you or your son say another word against Hermione's blood Status Molly, you would do well to remember who's house your in." His stare was cold, and I could see Mrs. Weasley getting ready for a huge argument.

"Yeah a Pureblood one" I heard Ron mutter and Ginny wacked the back of his head.

"I thought you were better than this Hermione, leading Ron on all this time just to be toying with his emotions. No wonder he's so upset" Her voice was condescending, and I lost my cool.

I stepped out from behind Sirius.

"Mrs. Weasley, I have told Ronald I have no interest in him in any romantic way. I made it clear to him last year when I went with Victor Krum to the Yule Ball-'she cuts me off before I could finish.

"Was that also when you were leading poor Harry on?" She snapped.

I can't believe she is still on this.

At this however Harry spoke up.

"Mrs. Weasley, there has never been anything romantic between me and Hermione." I can see he's trying to reason with her but she's far past listening.

"Mum calm down" The Twins shouted, and I can see Molly's face go livid at the fact that her own sons were yelling at her.

"Maybe it's best that everyone goes back to bed." Remus tries and honestly, I was so tired.

"Yes, that's for the best" I hear Sirius say as he fights to control his voice from shouting.

"We'll finish this tomorrow, make no mistake of that Sirius" Molly snapped one last time and it was only my hand on his shoulder that kept him from exploding.

I start to head up the stairs with Ginny, Sirius and Remus were directly behind us.

The Twins finally let go of Ron, but not before threating him.

We reach the door that leads to the room Ginny and I share, and Sirius gives me a small kiss on my cheek, and I can see Ginny struggling not to squeal.

"Goodnight Mione" He whispered in my ears and I felt butterflies in the pit of my stomach.

As soon as the door closes behind me and Ginny, she looks at me with intrigue.

"Spill everything"

Her eyes sparkle as I spill every detail.

"How good was the kiss?" she was hanging on to my every word and lounging on the bed.

"It was amazing, it was gentle but there was a heat to it." I touch my lips absent mindedly as I remember the bliss I had felt before Ron had ruined it all.

"How are you and Harry?" I try to change the subject and thankfully she did.

"Pretty great, Cho Chang keeps buzzing around him though" She makes a face and I laugh with her.

"I'm really happy for you Gin" I tell her whole-heartedly and her face softens as she moves closer to me.

"I'm happy for you as well Hermione" She pat my hand sympathetically.

"I'm sorry about my mum, she'll come around" I can tell Ginny doesn't really believe this.

"He's not that much older than me, and he truly cares for me." Her eyes glow.

"I could tell something was going on, he would always try to be near you" Her voice held a dreamy element to it.

"Alright, let's sleep now." I told Ginny and she responded with a yawn and went over to her bed.

"Goodnight"
